Ep226, How To Have Gods Life Living In You, Part 124, The Kingdom at Hand: Living the Word, Rejecting Compromise, and Following Christ’s Mission

The Kingdom as a Present Spiritual Government

Tony Alamo frames the Kingdom of Heaven not merely as a future destination but as a divine government that, in his teaching, is already present on earth whenever God’s will is performed through believers. He says people must surrender their former lives, receive Christ within themselves, and become members of what he calls the commonwealth of Heaven. His message repeatedly contrasts this Kingdom with worldly government, institutional religion, material wealth, and conduct he considers spiritually corrupt. The sermon presents obedience, sacrifice, and complete dedication of the heart, soul, mind, and strength as essential conditions of Kingdom life.

Letters and Ministry Work in Africa and India

The program includes letters attributed to Christian correspondents in Cameroon, India, and Nigeria who request Bibles, books, newsletters, and evangelistic literature. Alamo emphasizes that the writers ask for religious materials rather than personal money or possessions and calls on them to pray for his persistent cough. He also discusses conditions reported by a worker named Buster in an impoverished African community. The host describes efforts involving tools, toilets, shelters, water tanks, trucked water, possible wells, and regular shipments of religious literature.

Reproof and Daily Return to Scripture

A central theme is the need to revisit Scripture and spiritually reprove oneself every day. Alamo teaches that believers cannot maintain the Kingdom of Heaven within themselves consistently unless they repeatedly examine Christ’s purpose, assignments, and teachings. He distinguishes between merely imitating Jesus and allowing Jesus to live and act through a person. In his formulation, a person must live the Kingdom before credibly preaching it, and speech and conduct will reveal whether that spiritual life is genuine.

Christ’s Mission and the Kingdom Gospel

An unidentified reader presents a sequence of Gospel passages while Alamo expands on them. The cited passages describe Jesus preaching that the Kingdom is at hand, commanding disciples to proclaim it, casting out demons by the Spirit of God, comparing the Kingdom to a king settling accounts, and declaring that the Gospel of the Kingdom will reach all nations. Alamo argues that Christ’s primary mission was not to establish a conventional religion but to announce and embody the government of God. He criticizes ministers who invite people to church without directly preaching repentance and the arrival of the Kingdom.

Warnings Against Compromise and Worldly Allegiance

The sermon repeatedly warns against compromising with Satan, worldly systems, political authority, religious institutions, or social pressure. Alamo applies biblical sayings about Caesar, spiritual zeal, judgment, Hell, the Lake of Fire, and taking the Kingdom by force to contemporary political, religious, and personal situations. He also makes claims about healing, raising a dead person, influencing weather through prayer, and future deception involving an Antichrist figure. These assertions are presented as the speaker’s testimony and interpretation rather than independently established facts.

Receiving the Kingdom and Continuing the Mission

The final portion stresses receiving the Kingdom like a child, seeking it first, and recognizing Christ as a King whose Kingdom is not of this world. Alamo interprets Jesus’ statements before Pilate as evidence that Christ came to bring the Kingdom into the world and testify to its truth. He compares people accustomed to worldly dependency with prisoners or residents of Skid Row who may resist unfamiliar freedom. The episode closes with a warning of eternal judgment, an invitation to obtain a free copy of program 226, ministry contact information, and a brief prerecorded song about Israel.

The Kingdom at Hand: Living the Word, Rejecting Compromise, and Following Christ’s Mission

Speaker Identification

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo, Host and Preacher

The principal speaker introduces himself as World Pastor Tony Alamo, identifies the recording as program number 226, reads correspondence, delivers commentary, leads a prayer, and teaches the sermon.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant

A second voice appears to read portions of a prepared sermon manuscript, Bible passages, and citations. Tony Alamo repeatedly prompts this person with phrases such as “Read some more,” “Then what?” and “Keep going.” The reader’s identity is not stated in the transcript.

Speaker 3 – Prerecorded Singer

A prerecorded musical performance appears near the opening, and another song excerpt closes the program. Tony Alamo identifies the opening singer with a name transcribed as “Rovon,” but the exact spelling and song title are uncertain.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Hello again. This is World Pastor Tony Alamo. We are in Part 124 of our series about how to have God’s life living in you. This is tape or CD program number 226.

If you would like a copy on CD or audiotape, it is free of charge, and the postage and handling are also free. Ask for program number 226 and specify whether you want an audiotape or a CD.

Right now, let’s listen to Rovon, the singer I promoted in 1967. All right, let’s play it.

Speaker 3 – Prerecorded Singer:

[Prerecorded song excerpt. The lyrics and title are unclear in the source transcript.]

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

That was Rovon. He was on my label for a while, but soon afterward I sold or transferred him to RCA Victor. I still have his album, but that song is on an RCA Victor album. If you want a copy, go to a well-stocked record store. Rovon is known as one of the world’s greatest singers.

We are going to the throne of the Lord. Isn’t that something? We are dealing with the Kingdom of Heaven, and that is what the song is about: “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

If God’s will is being done here on earth as it is in the Kingdom of Heaven, then the Kingdom of Heaven has arrived here on earth. Those who do His will here, as His will is done in Heaven, are people who can enjoy, continually, the wealth of the commonwealth of the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth.

That is why so many people need to seek first the Kingdom of Heaven. Then health can be given to them, along with the means to provide for themselves and help provide for others. Through them, people can see that Christ is living in them.

A person who is not of the Lord will not give resources to a true Christian work or to the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. Very few people will do that. The first thing the Lord wants you to give Him is your life. He wants you to utterly forsake your old way of life. This is called dying out to the world and becoming a member of the commonwealth of the Kingdom of Heaven so that God can bless you.

If you do not do that, you are not under the blessings of the Lord. You may ask, “What about Rockefeller and people like him?” The devil also blesses people here on earth. But often, if you could see everything, you would discover that something was wrong with them. Rockefeller, for example, supposedly could not consume anything except mother’s milk.

What difference does it make if you have all the money in the world and cannot eat? Not only that, but when he stood before God on Judgment Day—and I believe he has already done that—he would face burning and torment forever in Hell and the Lake of Fire.

What would it profit a person to gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Help the poor. Help the Church of God, the true Body of Christ here on earth. Stop giving to these buffoons. Everybody knows they are buffoons.

Some people say, “God wants us to enjoy everyday life.” How can you enjoy everyday life if you are not helping poor people whose children are starving to death, such as people in Africa?

We have Buster over there now. He tells us about horrible conditions. People do not have roofs over their heads, water, food, bathrooms, or anything else, yet they love the Lord.

That is far removed from people here in the United States who give large amounts of money to buffoons and false prophets on television. Those people in Africa do not even know the television preachers’ names. The ministries may go there, or send someone to preach, but very little is done. Perhaps some porridge is handed out somewhere in Africa, but not where we are working.

We are in what I describe as one of the poorest and most depressed areas of Africa, where the need is very great. The need exists throughout Africa, and Buster is traveling through many areas.

There are also phonies there. We have weeded out a number of them so that we do not send money or assistance to people who are not interested in the Lord. If you are not interested in the Lord or in serving Him, God will send your soul to Hell, and I am not going to help you.

The Bible says to resist Satan and give him no place. I will not give such a person even a penny. But when I see people like those Buster describes, we are going to help them. They genuinely love the Lord, and we believe we can tell.

Now let’s go to the throne and ask the Lord to anoint the service.

Father, You have always anointed these services. It is always You, Lord. Say what You will in this service so that souls can be saved, the Church can be strengthened, and the Kingdom of Heaven can be firmly established on this earth.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. I thank You, Lord, for making me one of the kings. Of course, You are my King. I could not be a king unless You were my King. In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Everyone says amen.

All right. Let’s see where the first letter is from. It is from Cameroon, Africa.

“Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and greetings to Pastor Alamo and your team.

“It is exciting to know that God is using you to touch lives and reduce the grief we feel each day as we see many people coming to know our Lord Jesus Christ through you.

“God has led us to begin a new ministry in this part of Africa. I know your books and newsletters would increase the work of God here, including in our ministry. I came across your newsletters while seeking material for evangelism and thought they were a gold mine packaged by the Holy Spirit, because many souls come to the Lord through them.

“Blessed be the God of Jesus Christ, who is using you to publish such truths to this conformed world so that people may no longer be conformed to it.

“I send my encouragement in the name of Jesus. We will pray to Almighty God to continue raising you and the saints above all principalities and powers, toward greater glory, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“We need evangelistic materials, Bibles, the Messiah book, and other literature in both French and English that will effectively advance the work of God here. Cameroon is a bilingual country.

“God’s blessings to you and the brothers in Christ who are there with you, in the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Philip, Yaoundé, Cameroon, Africa.”

Praise the Lord. Notice that he did not ask for money, food, or water. He asked for more materials, just as people are telling Buster. Buster says you can see Jesus on their faces.

God bless you, brother. I know you are of the Lord, and I covet your prayers because I have a tickle in my lungs that I would like to go away. It has been causing coughing problems.

I say the devil has been attacking me that way. There is hardly anyone here in the United States whom I would trust to pray for me, but I trust you, brother, and others whose letters we receive from Africa, India, and the Philippines. I believe you are of the Lord.

Here is another letter, from India.

“Dear Brother Tony Alamo:

“Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

“I thank God for your anointed ministry, which reaches many countries of the world for Christ. You are doing a good work in bringing many lost souls to Christ in these last days.

“We praise our Lord Jesus for your good works to the glory of the Most High God, whom we are serving effectively through the use of your literature.

“Thank you for your commitment to Jesus Christ and your dedication to winning lost souls for Christ. Your works for the glory of the Most High God are radiating through us and inspiring us to do the Lord’s work and win souls for His glory.

“We always thank God for all of you and mention you in every prayer. May God continue to bless and prosper you with a double portion of His blessing and anointing.

“Please remember us in your prayers. I look forward to hearing from you.

“Your brother, Yedu, [location unclear], South India.”

All right. Notice that he did not ask for money, food, or clothes. He asked for literature.

Brother, I pray that you will pray for me also. I am praying for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus, give them everything they need, with blessings running over. In Jesus’ name.

I have this tickle in my lungs. I have asked people here in the United States to pray for me, but it is still there. I do not know whether anyone is praying for me, so I ask you people there to pray. I have confidence that God answers your prayers.

Here is another letter, from Nigeria, Africa.

“Dear Sir, Brother Tony Alamo:

“Calvary greetings to you from Nigeria, where Jesus is also Lord.

“I praise and magnify the Lord for what He has done for me. When I listened to your program on Radio Africa, your powerful message taught me the truth, and now the truth has set me free.

“At first, I had no peace of mind, but now Christ has given me peace of mind.

“Kindly send me a copy of the complete Bible so I may continue in the ways of God.

“May God bless you, is my prayer.

“Yours in Christ, [name unclear], [state unclear], Nigeria, Africa.”

Praise the Lord. I ask you also to pray for me, that this tickle in my lungs will go away. It is still there. I have asked people here to pray, but I trust you people over there very much.

This person also did not ask for money, food, clothes, or anything else. Those people in the part of Africa where we are working did not ask for bathrooms or living facilities. Yet when we saw the conditions, and Buster told me about them, I immediately said, “Oh, my God.”

They had no direction. Nobody had told them to dig or do carpentry work to build toilets. They need about 2,000 toilets in that vicinity. I am going to do everything in my power to instruct them.

There are millions of people, and if they begin digging, it should not take long before they have 2,000 toilets. When they were told what I said, they responded, “We will do everything Pastor Alamo says to do.”

They went to a hardware store and obtained pickaxes and shovels. They already have one toilet, when they did not have even one before.

I told Buster to tell them to keep digging throughout the area until they have places where people can have privacy and go to the bathroom.

We are building shelters for them. We bought water tanks and arranged for water trucks to bring them immediate water. I told them to drill wells. Buster said there were problems digging wells because they would have to go too deep, although he believed there would be some places where wells could be dug.

Let’s continue with the message we began yesterday concerning the purpose for which the Lord came into this world and the very first message He brought to the people of Israel.

After He was baptized, anointed with the Holy Spirit, fasted for 40 days, and was tempted by Satan, He did not yield. He did not break any of the Lord’s commandments. He yielded to the Holy Spirit.

Then He went into the country and began preaching, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”

In other words, the Kingdom of Heaven had arrived on earth. It was here on earth.

Some people pay no attention to the fact that the Kingdom of Heaven is here on earth. Most of them certainly know that it is not in them because they do not walk by the Spirit.

All these evangelists say you cannot be perfect, even though the Lord commands us to be perfect. I know that when you are in the Holy Spirit, you are perfect. You could not be anything else because the Holy Spirit is perfect, and you are in the Holy Spirit.

You do not have to be a genius to believe the Lord. These people in Africa are, as I describe them, largely uneducated, yet the Kingdom of Heaven is in them.

Buster says it is extremely touching. He does not see anger, remorse, or people glaring at him as though he were evil for bringing the Gospel.

I see anger directed toward me all around me. I believe the Lord has been testing me to see whether I would go through that kind of fire. Lately, He has been telling me to remove those kinds of people from my presence because He does not want me to endure that any longer. I have put up with it long enough.

Let’s return to the message.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

The Lord Jesus Christ’s purpose was to do the will of the Father. Reproof, or revisiting, is essential to understanding the Lord’s purpose.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Yes. If you want the Kingdom of Heaven living in you, you have to revisit the Scriptures that explain it. The reproof of the Word of the Lord is the way to eternal life. It is the way of life.

On a daily basis, you must revisit the Scriptures and reprove yourself. Why? Because the Lord said so.

If you do not do that, there is no way the Kingdom of Heaven will remain in you consistently. Some people are up one day and down the next. Some days they are happy, and other days they are blue. Usually, they are happy for the wrong reasons.

Go ahead. Read some more.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

We must revisit in the Scriptures the purpose, assignments, and major message of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

We have to ask: What is Your purpose? Why did You come here, Lord? What is the purpose? What is the meaning of this?

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

That is necessary so that we may receive reproof and understand why He came to this earth and why He called us.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

He wants us to be like Him. Not a little like Him, but exactly like Him.

He does not want us merely to imitate Him. He wants to be living in us and representing Himself—the Kingdom of Heaven in us and through us—so that people can see that the Kingdom of Heaven truly is here on earth. It is that simple.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

We must continue reproving ourselves by revisiting the Scriptures that cause our thoughts to remain steadfast on God’s purposes for human beings to fulfill every day.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

What is the purpose of God? Does anybody know?

Someone might answer, “To establish the Kingdom.” It would be better to say, “To preach the Kingdom of Heaven on earth,” because you cannot establish it unless you preach it. You cannot preach it unless you live it, and you cannot know what to say unless you are living it yourself.

The Bible says your speech will betray you. Amen. You will be found out.

I have been saying these things repeatedly. Keep going.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

To consider and reprove our minds, hearts, and souls concerning the purpose of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we must read the accounts given by His disciples in the Gospels.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

The disciples tell the story of His purpose. We need to read what His disciples said about Him and what they reported that He said.

After all, this is God speaking. If you are too proud or unwilling to listen to what God says, then you are not a Christian. Do not say you are. Go with the world rather than being a hypocrite.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

The Lord’s first public declaration was made at the beginning of His earthly mission. Jesus was 30 years old. He had been baptized by His cousin, John the Baptist, and had completed 40 days of fasting, during which He was tempted by Satan.

Those temptations were attempts to cause Jesus to compromise His assignment.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Satan was saying, in effect, “Jesus says this, but come on. Isn’t that fanatical?”

People say the same about me: “Tony says this, but come on. Let’s get together, whisper, talk badly about him, and think about what a creep he is because he wants us to do what the Lord says.”

Then they think I have a bad disposition because I call them creeps for refusing to do what the Lord says. They would have said the same about Jesus.

Jesus was stricter than I am. If you are going to enter into Him, you have to be as strict as He is.

He took a whip, entered the Temple, and drove out people who were turning the house of God into a house of merchandise. They were selling animal sacrifices, exchanging money, and conducting business as usual. They were not living in the Kingdom of God; they were living in the world.

They asked who gave Him the authority to do such things. In another place, He told them to show Him a coin and asked whose image was on it.

They answered, “Caesar’s.”

He said, “Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and render unto God the things that are God’s.”

What belongs to God? The Bible says all your heart—all of it; all your soul; all your mind; and all your strength.

What belongs to Caesar? Nothing that can save you. Caesar will never get you into Heaven. He can help send you into Hell.

The Lord wants all your attention. If you give it to Him, there is nothing Caesar can do to stop you from going to the Lord.

If you listen to Caesar or anyone other than the Lord, even though the Lord tells you to obey those who have the rule over you, and you dislike that Scripture, then you dislike God’s Word.

If you dislike God’s Word, you are going to Hell. I do not care who you are. I do not care whether you are President Bush, the Pope, or anyone else.

It is obvious to me that such people do not believe or honor the Word of God. Therefore, they will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire unless they repent.

God’s will is that you repent, and my will is also that you repent. But if you do not, there will be no escape. You will go to Hell and the Lake of Fire. You will be sorry, and you will scream.

If it were only for a day, a few days, or a week, that would be one thing. But it is forever. Eternity continues forever and ever.

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

Jesus was tempted but overcame Satan’s efforts to make Him compromise His assignment and purpose. To compromise would have meant compromising with the devil.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

People are telling the Jews in Israel to compromise with the devil right now: “Compromise. Give away some of your land.”

They have given away nearly everything except a small portion, while Arabs are already living in the lands that, according to the speaker’s interpretation, God gave to Israel.

You cannot compromise with the devil. You cannot sit down and bargain with him because he will take everything you have, including your soul.

Do not try to deal or barter with him. Resist him and be like Jesus, who never bartered with him.

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

After 40 days of fasting, Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

“Repent ye, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” “At hand” means it is here. It has arrived.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

The statement means, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” Matthew, chapter 4, verse 17.

The words “at hand” mean that it has arrived and is here now.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

His first declaration of doctrine in the Bible concerned the Kingdom, not religion.

He did not come preaching Catholicism, Buddhism, Hinduism, or any other “ism.” He came preaching the Kingdom of Heaven and teaching that the Kingdom of Heaven lives in you. That is the opposite of religion.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

In essence, He brought forth the government of God—a government of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth—in which people could live instead of living under the world’s government.

Other statements by the Lord concerning His purposes and assignments on earth include: “As you go, preach this message: ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.’”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

That is it. I am going to list many Scriptures that say, “As you go, preach, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.’”

I asked someone, “What do you tell people on the street?”

He answered, “We do not try to tell them very much. We simply try to get them into church.”

I said, “Then you are not ready to go out ministering. You need to listen to this message. You have to tell them, ‘Repent. The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.’”

If you are too squeamish to say that, or you think it sounds antiquated, do not go into the streets. I do not want you there, and God does not want you there. I do not need you there.

You must obey the Lord if you are going to be a Christian.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

That was Matthew, chapter 10, verse 7. It was part of Christ’s instructions to His disciples.

Another statement is: “If I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Read it with power. Do not read it as though you were trying to force a Christian message.

“If I cast out demons, or drive out demons, by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you.”

That means the Kingdom is right here in front of you. Nothing in the world can cast out devils. The Spirit of God is the Kingdom of Heaven.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

That was Matthew, chapter 12, verse 28.

Another Scripture states: “Therefore, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.” Matthew, chapter 18, verse 23.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Let’s settle the account. The old account should have been settled long ago.

If you want to enter Heaven and stay out of Hell and the Lake of Fire, settle the account here. Give your life. Lay it down. Die out to your old way of life and let the Kingdom of Heaven live in you.

Then go out and begin preaching, “The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

Another Scripture says, “This Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

It is a Gospel of good news. The Gospel of Christ is the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven.

The good news is that Heaven is now on earth. Thank God that corruption is not the only thing here.

There is so much corruption because so few people have received the Kingdom of Heaven into their spirits and hearts. They are not living the Kingdom life on earth as Jesus did.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

“This Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

It will be a testimony that the Kingdom of Heaven is here on earth.

If everyone hears the message that the Kingdom of Heaven is here, then the entire world has heard the testimony.

People who are not embarrassed to declare it will be children of the Kingdom. If you are ashamed of the Kingdom, the Lord will be ashamed of you before His Father and the holy angels.

How many people have come to attend the service tonight?

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

None, sir.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

I see. The Bible says we are to compel people of the world to come into the house of God and receive the Kingdom of Heaven.

You remember how to eat, sleep, go to the bathroom, play, and goof off. You need to remember what the Lord commanded as well.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

That was Matthew, chapter 24, verse 14.

Jesus also said, “I must preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to the other towns also.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Preach what? The Gospel of the Kingdom of God—the truth of the Kingdom.

Some people look cynical. Those are people who, in my view, will never preach the truth. They think Christianity is a free ride or a free lunch.

They bring false accusations against the dignities of God, and they make their own mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers believe their false statements rather than accepting responsibility for teaching them the truth of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

How many people do you hear preaching this Gospel? None.

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

“I must preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” He continued preaching in the synagogues of Judea.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

That was why He was sent. His purpose was to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven.

People need to reprove themselves with these Scriptures every day. Why? Because the whole Bible says so.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

Jesus said, “That is why I was sent: to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

That is why so few people attend services: there is no zeal.

The Lord says you must have zeal, or He will spit you out of His mouth. That is written in the Book of Revelation.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

That passage was Luke, chapter 4, verses 43 through 44.

Another Scripture states: “After this, Jesus traveled from one town and village to another, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom”—the good news that the Kingdom of God is here on earth and can live in you.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

People say, “The Gospel means the truth,” but they do not explain the truth of what.

It is the truth of the Kingdom of Heaven—the truth that the Kingdom of Heaven is here on earth.

If the Kingdom of Heaven is in you, that is what you preach. Christ is coming because the earth is being filled with the Kingdom of Heaven and the will of the Father is being done on earth.

That is what the Lord’s Prayer says and what Rovon sang before this message: “Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

That was Luke, chapter 8, verse 1.

Another statement says, “The crowds learned about it and followed Him. He welcomed them, spoke to them about the Kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

How can someone who is worldly and does not have the Kingdom of Heaven heal anyone?

If the Kingdom of Heaven is living in you, then you pray for healing. I do not care who calls and asks for healing; I pray because the Bible says to pray.

I say they are healed because the Bible says signs will follow those who believe.

According to my testimony, people can know the Kingdom of Heaven is in me and that I believe the Gospel because people are healed when I pray for them.

I have prayed for a person who was dead, and he rose from the dead. I have prayed for rain to stop, and it stopped. I have prayed for rain to come, and it came.

Elijah asked for fire to come down from the Kingdom of Heaven, and fire came down.

The Antichrist will also call fire down from heaven in order to deceive people. The deception could be so strong that even people of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth might be deceived if they do not know the Word of God.

People will say that Elijah must come before Christ. They may look at a figure associated with Rome who has moved into Israel and say, “This is the Messiah. Look, this Elijah brought fire down from heaven.”

The Lord warns that people will say, “Come here. The Messiah is here,” or, “The Messiah is coming.”

The figure bringing fire down in that future deception will not be Elijah but a forerunner of the Antichrist. People will say he is Elijah. He will be a Jew, and I say the Antichrist will be a Jew.

Someone was discussing this on television today. I do not know whether he read the Bible thoroughly or heard one or several of my messages from years ago about an Elijah-like Antichrist figure bringing fire down from heaven.

Were you in the room watching that with me?

[Brief response is unclear.]

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

That was Luke, chapter 9, verse 11.

Another statement made by the Lord was: “Seek His Kingdom.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Seek first the Kingdom of God. The first thing you do in the morning, and what you continue doing throughout the day, should be seeking the Kingdom of God.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

“And these things will be given to you as well.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

That is Luke. These things will be given to you by God. He cannot lie.

Healing, casting out devils, signs following you, raising the dead, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven, and souls being saved are among the things I associate with seeking the Kingdom.

Some of you have already resigned yourselves to going to Hell. You intend to enjoy this present life as much as possible until your soul is flung into Hell and then into the Lake of Fire.

I would not be that foolish. Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

That was Luke, chapter 12, verse 31.

Another Scripture states: “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

That means the Kingdom of Heaven.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

Luke, chapter 12, verse 32.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

The Lord is pleased when you receive the Kingdom of God. That is why He sent Jesus into the world, along with the apostles and people like me, to preach the Kingdom of Heaven to you.

He wants you to receive it so your soul will not be thrown into Hell and the Lake of Fire. He is pleased to see you receive the Kingdom and all its benefits.

What are you doing today that you consider worthy of sending your soul to Hell? Are you listening to a satanic sister, brother, or little friend? Is that so important that you listen to them instead of the Lord?

If you listen to them rather than reproving them with the Word of the Lord, you will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire with them.

They are nothing to the Lord but chaff. Chaff is like the refuse of the earth.

Many people in Africa have previously been involved in other religions. I say the Lord has allowed them to live in terrible conditions. But in the section where one of my churches is located, more than 50,000 people are being blessed by the Lord.

He is pulling them out of what I call the dunghill because He knows His servant Tony will be used to give them the resources to rise out of it.

We are sending approximately a thousand items a week, including Bibles, literature, Messiah books, and other material.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

“The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the Kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Everyone who enters must force himself into the Kingdom of God. You have to discipline yourself and allow the Holy Spirit to discipline you.

You have to take the Kingdom of Heaven by force and, as Scripture says, by violence.

Those who are righteous believe God is right. They recognize that their friends may be wrong, the Antichrist government is wrong, the Antichrist media is wrong, the Antichrist church out of Rome is wrong, and the other “isms” are wrong.

You force yourself into the Kingdom with force and violence, whatever it takes.

I do not care if I am killed, die, or am thrown into a fire like the three Hebrew children. I am going to Heaven. I will force my way in. No opposing force will stop me. I am going by the force of the Holy Spirit. I am going to live in the Spirit and enter the Kingdom.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

Everyone who enters it must force his way into it.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

In other words, you must take it by force and violence. If you do not, shame on you.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

“It is easier for Heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen—a jot or a tittle—to drop out of the Law.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

This is the law of the Kingdom of God.

You are not supposed to live by what I call the satanic law of this world or adhere to it. If you are children of the Kingdom, you live by the law and government of the Kingdom of God.

You do it forcefully, even at the risk of losing your temporal life.

What do people live for in this world? Do people even enjoy life here on earth anymore? The elite do not.

We had a person in the building and safety commission who opposed us for years and would not let us build. As a result, some of our people lived crowded together in dormitories. Those dormitories were not made legal. They were old storage-type buildings near the church.

That commissioner recently died of cancer throughout his body. Similar things have happened many times.

A judge once tried to subpoena Susie from the hospital the day before she died, while she was in a coma with cancer.

When I learned that the commissioner had cancer, I called him because the Lord says to do good to those who do evil.

I said, “Is there anything we can do for you? You have cancer. Some of the brothers can run errands for you.”

He told me, “I have my own church. I am all right. I am not going to die.”

A week or two later, he died and, according to my interpretation, went to Hell.

Am I judging? I say I am judging by the Word of God. I do not have the right to judge by my own judgment, but the Word of God says that if you do not receive the Kingdom of Heaven, and if you love to torture and torment people on earth, you face judgment.

If you believe it is torture for me to tell you what the Lord says to do, then leave, because I cannot stand to have you there.

If you believe doing the will of God is torture or oppression, you should instead do the Lord’s will willingly. If you do not do it willingly, you will receive no reward.

Remember that.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

That was Luke, chapter 16, verses 16 through 17.

Here is another Scripture: “I tell you the truth: Anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

You have to receive and believe the Lord as a little child believes a mother or father who says, “Here, son, this is something to eat.”

The Lord says, “Here is something that will allow you to live eternally.”

If you do not receive it, you will not enter the Kingdom of God. You will spend eternity screaming.

The Bible says Hell must be enlarged because so many people have rejected His Word, His Kingdom, and the good news that the Kingdom of Heaven is here on earth.

Some people see only filth and degradation on this earth. We see it when we are in Africa and other places, but we believe we have the power of God within us to rebuild and pull people out of the fire, filth, and stench.

If people insist on continuing to live in those conditions, including prostitution in the streets and the circumstances I describe there, their lives remain extremely difficult. I am told that the average life expectancy in those areas may be only 40 to 50 years.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

That was Luke, chapter 18, verse 17.

Another Scripture says, “I appoint unto you a Kingdom, just as My Father appointed a Kingdom unto Me.”

Jesus also said, “My Kingdom is not of this world. If it were, My servants would fight to prevent My arrest by the Jews. But now My Kingdom is from another place.”

“‘You are a king, then,’ said Pilate.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

If you have a kingdom, there must be a king. Every king has a kingdom. Otherwise, what are you king of?

If you are of this world, then you are not a king in the Kingdom of Heaven. Satan is king over you, and you are nothing if you merely imagine yourself to be a king or prophet.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

Jesus answered, “You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

“For this cause I was born, and for this cause I came into the world.”

He came as a King to bring the Kingdom of Heaven into this world.

He said He already had servants here and was King over those servants. Therefore, the Kingdom of Heaven was already established on earth.

It must continue growing like a mustard seed until the whole earth is filled with the Kingdom. Anything that remains outside of it will be burned permanently.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

“For this cause I came into the world: to testify to the truth.”

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

The truth is the truth of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

“Everyone on the side of truth listens to Me.” John, chapter 18, verses 36 through 37.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

Are you on the side of truth? Are you in the Kingdom of Heaven?

If not, you do not listen to the truth. You have listened to lies for so long that you are accustomed to them and do not want to leave.

It is like people on Skid Row who do not want to leave because anything different feels uncomfortable.

When I was in prison for what I describe as the Gospel’s sake, some people told me they did not want to leave prison because they were comfortable there. They received three hot meals and a cot and did not have to pay bills.

They had given up on life, the Lord, and everything else. They liked taking it easy, playing cards, and lifting weights. They did not mind being told when to get up, go to bed, turn off the lights, or perform other tasks.

They remained there because they felt insecure without Satan ruling over them.

I say the same is true of some people on Skid Row. They become accustomed to receiving cheese, sugar, flour, and other assistance from the government. The government becomes their god. They rely on what I call the Antichrist government for material support.

Speaker 2 – Unidentified Reader / Ministry Assistant:

These are only a few of the statements made by Jesus concerning His purpose, mission, and message.

It is evident that His intent was to declare and establish the Kingdom of God and invite all human beings to enter it.

Speaker 1 – Tony Alamo:

My time is up again, but we have much more to cover concerning the Kingdom, God’s purpose, what He has purposed for you to do, and what you need to become a child of the Kingdom.

You will be ashamed when you see the glory of the Kingdom of Heaven, and you will be frightened when you see the mouth of Hell opened and the people in Hell cast into the Lake of Fire.

You will be ashamed and tormented, and you will hate yourself throughout eternity. You will plead and beg, but the Lord will not hear you because you did not hear Him.
