Ep222, How To Have Gods Life Living In You, Part 120, Righteousness Through Surrender: Letting God Live and Work Through You

Righteousness as Spiritual Alignment
The program begins with a prayer asking God to speak through the host and guide listeners into what he presents as the correct interpretation of scripture. The host defines righteousness not merely as a religious label but as a legal spiritual position created when a person aligns his or her mind and conduct with God’s will. He rejects the idea that church attendance alone makes a person righteous and argues that righteousness exists only when God lives and works through the believer. The prayer establishes the episode’s central claim that people must surrender their plans, thoughts, and bodies to the direction of the Holy Spirit.

A Nigerian Report and the Demand for Perseverance
A correspondent from Lagos describes receiving ministry literature and says that a seventeen-member New Jerusalem Team is distributing the booklets in a Muslim-dominated community. The letter reports that people who had never read Christian literature are responding and that local churches are experiencing revival. The host uses the letter to teach that believers must remain in Christ and not return to conduct he identifies with spiritual darkness. He emphasizes human willingness, resistance to temptation, continued obedience, and his belief that deliberate sin after conversion can cause a person to forfeit righteousness.

Good Deeds Compared With Spiritual Regeneration
The host recalls sharing a hospital ward with two young men who had diabetes and helping obtain orange juice when they began slipping into comas. He recognizes the humanitarian value of the act but argues that good deeds alone do not reconcile a person to God. In his view, he could not offer the men the most important help because he had not yet been born again and could not communicate the gospel through the Spirit. The account becomes an extended distinction between ordinary kindness and actions performed through a life surrendered to Christ.

The Gun Case, Hospital Ward, and Personal History
The host recounts taking a handgun from young children who said they had stolen it from a police officer’s home. He says he hid the weapon temporarily while deciding how to return it without exposing the children, but he was arrested and pressured to plead guilty to receiving stolen property. During the resulting confinement and hospital treatment, he says Ronald Reagan’s mother visited him regularly and compared him with her son. He incorporates this story, along with claims about later political contacts and ministry conflicts, into a broader testimony about injustice, personal ambition, and his eventual belief that worldly achievements are spiritually worthless without Christ.

Warnings About Darkness and Reports of Conversion
The sermon expands into warnings about false teaching, sexual conduct, religious error, worldly government, and rejection of scripture. The host presents the biblical Flood and the rainbow as examples of judgment and promise, then teaches that a future judgment by fire awaits those who love darkness rather than light. A telephone response from Jacqueline in New York praises his direct preaching, while a letter from Brother P. Rajah in India reports conversion from Hinduism and requests Telugu literature, Bibles, and copies of The Messiah. The host directs the ministry to send a large shipment and urges workers to respond more quickly to overseas requests.

God Living Through Willing People
The closing teaching states that human beings were created in God’s image so that God could live and work through them. The host describes believers as Christ’s body and as a final “mop-up crew” continuing His work in an increasingly wicked world. He teaches that believers may exercise spiritual leadership wherever they are by knowing scripture and allowing the Holy Spirit to minister through them. The episode concludes with a salvation prayer, free-program contact information, and an invitation to listen to Part 121, Program 223.

Righteousness Through Surrender: Letting God Live and Work Through You

Speaker Identification

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher: The principal speaker identifies himself as World Pastor Tony Alamo. He delivers the opening prayer, comments on the letters, recounts personal experiences, presents the sermon, leads the salvation prayer, and closes the program.

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant: This speaker reads listener letters, a telephone response, prepared teaching excerpts, and the closing contact information. The host calls the closing assistant Sharon. It is likely, but not certain from the transcript alone, that Sharon reads all of these portions.

Speaker 3 – Congregation / Supporting Voice or Voices: Brief responses such as “Amen” occur during the prayer and sermon. The transcript does not establish the number or identities of these voices.

Speaker 3 – Congregation / Supporting Voice or Voices:

Amen and amen.

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

Hello again. This is World Pastor Tony Alamo. We are about to bring you another message from the Lord.

If you would like a copy, you may order it after the service. At the end of this recording, Sharon will explain four different ways to receive it. You may also visit our website to order some of the music you hear.

All the programs and literature that we send are absolutely free of charge. Postage and handling are also free. We thank and praise the Lord that we are able to minister the gospel by radio, through the website, and through literature throughout the world.

We have some letters today, as well as a message that we believe comes from the throne of God. First, let us go to the throne of the Lord and ask Him to live and work through me and to speak through me, as He spoke through the prophets of the Lord.

Father, we thank and praise Your holy name. Your Spirit is alive and well, and You speak through Your people on earth. We know that the prophets spoke as You gave them utterance and that there is no private interpretation of the Bible.

There are not two different ways in which the scriptures are supposed to be preached. They are to be preached by the Spirit, and the Spirit does not give two or more contradictory meanings. There is one correct interpretation, and that is Your interpretation.

This is why people must study Your Word in order to receive the proper meaning of what You are saying. Many people twist it and think they may live the lives they have planned for themselves.

Your Word states that it pleased You to save the world through what scripture calls the foolishness of preaching the gospel. You came to this planet in a man, showing us that God can and does live in human beings.

It is Your will to reconcile people who receive Your Word and its correct interpretation. They receive it into their hearts and minds. They willingly change their way of thinking to agree with Your Word so that they may be accounted righteous.

Many ministers today preach that the people in their congregations are the righteousness of God while eliminating the actual meaning of Your Word. Some ministers acknowledge that people in their congregations are committing adultery with one another’s spouses and then tell those same people that they are the righteousness of God.

The word “righteousness,” as I am using it, is not merely a religious term. It is a legal term. People become righteous when they position themselves within Your will, accept Your way of thinking, and allow You to live and preach through them.

People do not become righteous simply because they sit beneath the roof of a building called a church. Your Word tells us that we are righteous when we are in You. There is only one inherently righteous person in the universe, and that is You. We must be in You.

We must desire to change our minds and continually mold our thinking so that we believe as You do. We must receive what You say as it is, without twisting it, and surrender our entire lives to You so that we may be legally positioned in Your will.

People who claim to be the righteousness of God while refusing Your will turn a legal concept into an empty religious expression. True righteousness means that we have placed ourselves in Your will. When You call us, we must change our minds so that our minds become aligned with Yours.

Your mind is revealed in Your Word, and Your Word tells us to walk by the Spirit. Therefore, Lord, I pray that You will walk in me now. Have Your way with my mouth. Open my mouth and fill it with Your words so that souls in the world may be saved.

Strengthen those in the church who are truly in You but have not yet reached the maturity of fully allowing You to speak and act through them. Make them more determined to let Your will be done in them. Then they will be considered the righteousness of God.

We are righteous in the eyes of the Lord only when we walk according to the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Lord, I ask that the people accept Your Word. In the mighty name of Jesus.

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher and Speaker 3 – Congregation / Supporting Voice or Voices:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

Praise the Lord.

If you felt the Spirit of the Lord, then you know it was the Lord, because no human being can manufacture the Spirit of God. Amen?

Speaker 3 – Congregation / Supporting Voice or Voices:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

It makes no difference how the people of what I call this dark world condemn those who walk by the Spirit according to the law of the Spirit of life. You know they cannot be right when you feel the Spirit of God, because God does not operate through the fleshly nature of this world.

Where is our first letter from?

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

From Nigeria.

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

All right. Let us hear it.

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

“Dear World Pastor Tony Alamo,

“It is with great honor, in the name of Jesus Christ, the risen Lord, that I send my thanks and greetings to you and to all my brothers and sisters in the church.

“A few months ago, I met Brother Doug, a member of your ministry, on the internet. He gave me your website address so that I could request gospel literature for distribution. I made the request and eventually received the literature from you.

“I am writing to thank Almighty God for sending a pastor like you to this generation. I also thank you for following God’s direction in winning souls.

“Your soul-winning booklets have turned the Muslim-dominated community where the Lord has positioned us upside down for Christ Jesus.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

The Lord positioned you, but you also positioned yourself within the will of the Lord. The Word of God is His will, and scripture says that there is no private interpretation of it.

This person has positioned himself in the will of God. Therefore, the Lord has positioned him in righteousness, and he has become the righteousness of God.

We do not like to think about turning back, but we must preach the whole Bible. The Bible says that, if we return to darkness and to the king of darkness, we become like dogs returning to their vomit and like washed sows returning to wallow in the mire.

According to this teaching, those who knowingly return to sin are condemned, and there may remain no further sacrifice for their sins.

Some of you may have fallen through ignorance. If it was a sin of ignorance, do not remain in the mud. Even a sow that falls into mud can get up and shake it off. Do everything you can to return to the Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Righteousness.

Without the Lord living in and through us, it is impossible to enter the Kingdom of God. Jesus says that anyone who attempts to enter the Kingdom some other way—rather than through Him, the Word—is a thief and a liar. Thieves and liars are not admitted.

Anyone teaching that the Lord has forgiven all past, present, and future sins regardless of what a person continues to do is, according to this sermon, teaching falsely. The Bible says that the person who sins is a servant of sin, and sin cannot enter the Kingdom of God.

You must compel yourself to put on the mind of God. We must change our minds and lives, and we must willingly take action because the Lord wants to see willingness on our part.

He will not force you. If He sees no effort or willingness, I teach that He will not give you the power to overcome. As He sees you willingly pressing forward, resisting the powers of darkness, moving toward the light of His Word, and walking in His Spirit, He gives you more power to do even more.

We are all being tested, although God does not tempt us. He wants to see us willingly reject this world. Scripture says, “Love not the world.” He wants you to reject the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.

He does not want you to trample His blood underfoot or count it as an unholy thing. He wants you to resist satanic things, the ruler of darkness, and the Kingdom of Darkness. He wants you to press forward.

He wants to see whether you willingly make yourself worthy through obedience so that He may admit you into the Kingdom. I teach that He will not admit an unrepentant sinner.

This applies even to a person who was renewed, tasted the good Spirit of the Lord and the good Word of God, and experienced the blessings of the Kingdom, but then turned back to darkness and began condoning darkness in others. I teach that the Lord will no longer call that person righteous but accursed.

This is the Bible as I preach it. You must make up your mind. You have a will and can choose to do good or evil. The Lord says to choose good so that He may bless you and bring you into His Kingdom.

You may decide that it is more pleasurable to do your own will. It may seem that way in this world, but I teach that it will not seem so when the spirit and body are reunited and cast into the lake of fire, with no escape.

The answer is to abide in Christ. He is the only inherently righteous being in the universe. If we are in Him, we are considered the righteousness of God because Christ is righteous and lived without sin.

We are to be in Him so that we receive the ability to live without sin. All power in Heaven and on earth belongs to Jesus. If we are in Him, His power enables us to make our will conform to the will of Almighty God.

God came to this planet in a human being, and He continues to live in people who come to Christ. This is the way He has chosen to reconcile people to Himself.

We can be reconciled to God only by allowing Him to possess our bodies and by dispossessing ourselves of our own will, which I describe as satanic when it opposes God. We must separate ourselves from the Kingdom of Darkness and regard evil as something repulsive.

We must yield completely to the Lord and stay away from darkness. A little leaven affects the whole lump, and a little poison can poison the whole person.

We have a mind, a spirit, a soul, and a will. The unregenerated soul naturally wants to do what feels good. It is impossible for us, in our natural condition, to do everything God wants.

I remember being about twenty-one years old and staying in a hospital ward because I was preparing for an eye operation. Two other young men in the ward had diabetes. They would sometimes begin slipping into comas.

I would run for a nurse and say, “Come in here. These men are going into comas. Bring some orange juice.” I had seen the nurses give them orange juice, after which they would revive.

That was a good deed, but I did not yet possess the righteousness that comes from the Lord. I may have helped save their lives, but I remained in that room with them for several weeks without being able to do something godly for their souls.

God through Christ was not yet living in and through me. Had He been doing so, I would have shared the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with them. I believe they would have recognized the Lord speaking through me, humbled themselves, knelt, and received the gospel.

I had not been born again, regenerated, saved, or filled with the Spirit. “Transformed” is not the precise word I want here; “regenerated” is better. All I could do was obtain orange juice for them. Therefore, I was not the righteousness of God.

Millions of people today buy food for others, belong to charitable organizations, and distribute food or clothing. That is helpful, and I am not criticizing the practical good that they do.

For the sake of their souls, however, I teach that no good deed is spiritually sufficient unless Christ lives in and through the person. Even if you work in a ministry, type documents, answer emails, or perform other helpful tasks, those works do not establish righteousness unless you voluntarily allow Christ to live His life in and through you.

Scripture describes works performed apart from God as filthy rags.

You may ask, “Do you mean that saving those men’s lives was filthy?” With respect to earning admission into the Kingdom of Heaven, I say yes. Do you think God admits someone to Heaven merely because that person called a nurse, provided orange juice, gave a candy bar, or performed another humanitarian act?

When I was later imprisoned, which I describe as imprisonment for righteousness’ sake, I could give people with diabetes candy bars, apples, oranges, grapes, or whatever the commissary permitted. I could do practical good deeds, but I could also preach the gospel.

You can see from this letter that the ministry’s literature has reportedly affected a Muslim-dominated community. I do not attribute that to myself. I attribute it to the Spirit of God working in me. I could not have done it without Jesus.

Paul said that he labored more abundantly than the other apostles, yet added, “Not I,” attributing the work to the grace or Spirit of God within him.

I made the decision to let God have His way with me. I did not want to go to hell. I did not want to remain spiritually weak and beggarly. I did not want to be someone who merely delivered orange juice or gave artificial respiration and then believed that the humanitarian act alone constituted righteousness.

Those actions may be kind, but we must also bring people the gospel. Let the Lord operate in you. If you reject the Messiah and refuse to let Him have His way in you, I teach that your apparently good conduct remains unclean in the eyes of God.

Do you understand?

Speaker 3 – Congregation / Supporting Voice or Voices:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

Without Christ, a person remains spiritually unclean.

At that time, I did not know the gospel because no one had truly preached it to me. Ronald Reagan’s mother used to visit me while I was in the hospital ward connected with the jail.

I had been accused of receiving a stolen firearm, although I maintain that I was innocent. Around the Fourth of July, I heard what I thought were firecrackers behind the home of my friends Ada and Fred San Antonio.

Their sons may still be living on a street in Hollywood whose name is unclear in this transcript. They could verify what I am saying. Ada and Fred have died.

We were like family. Ada and Fred, Danny Conpertini, David Treadway, the children, and I spent time together. I went there to practice vocalizing because David played the piano very well. Danny wanted to work in motion pictures, and at that time I did too.

I saw how hard people in motion pictures worked. I decided that I did not want to get up at five in the morning, sit in makeup, fuss with my appearance, and repeat scenes over and over. That did not suit me.

I went into the backyard and saw three or four young children, perhaps seven, eight, or nine years old. They were hiding something behind their backs.

I asked, “What is the matter?”

They answered, “Nothing.”

I asked where their parents were, and they said they had gone on a picnic. I then asked what they were hiding.

They again said, “Nothing.”

I said, “Come on. Let me see it.”

They pulled a .45-caliber handgun from behind their backs.

I said, “My God, where did you get that? Give me the gun.”

They handed it to me and said they had stolen it from a police officer’s house down the street.

I had previously been sent to reform school after running away from home as a child. I ran away with another boy, but he was not sent away. Authorities decided that I should go to the State Industrial School for Boys in Miles City, Montana.

Because I had that record, I did not know what to do with the gun. I was afraid that, if I took it to the police, they might think I had stolen it. I was working at a furniture company making tables and had to get to the factory.

I took the gun to my house in Pacoima and put it in a drawer while I tried to decide what to do. If I told the police that the children had stolen it, my friends’ children might be arrested.

If I took it directly to the police officer’s house, the officer would ask where I obtained it. The gun did not simply walk out of the house and fall on the ground. Someone had stolen it, and the authorities would want to know who.

I feared that they would take me in, throw me against a wall, and interrogate me. It was one of the circumstantial situations that occurred in my life. I believe the devil set me up on several occasions. I am not claiming that I never did anything wrong, but I maintain that I did not steal that gun.

When I came home from work, the police were waiting.

They asked, “Do you have a gun?”

I said yes. I then realized that the children had told them.

They asked where I had obtained it. I told them that I had taken it from the San Antonio children after they said they stole it from a police officer’s house.

The police booked me for receiving stolen property. I say that the district attorney presented me as though I were operating a stolen-property ring, using children to rob homes and bring items to me so that I could sell them. I maintain that this was completely false.

They told me that the court dockets in Los Angeles were so full that I might have to remain in jail for three months or longer before trial because I had no money for bail.

They said that, if I admitted taking the gun illegally, I would receive a three-month sentence and be released. If I refused, I could wait three months for trial, had no money for an attorney, and might receive another year or even be sent to prison.

I was about nineteen years old and did not understand the court system. I signed the papers.

I was taken to the jail and later to the prison ward at Los Angeles County General Hospital, where I met the two men with diabetes.

Ronald Reagan’s mother used to come to the locked ward two or three times a week. She would knock, open the small viewing panel, and say, “How is my little brown-eyed boy?”

That embarrassed me because many other men were present. After she left, they would tease me by repeating, “How is my little brown-eyed boy?”

This was long before Ronald Reagan became governor of California. She visited and spoke only with me, saying that I reminded her of her son Ronald.

To me, he was merely associated with a General Electric television program. I did not know him personally. I considered him a second-, third-, or fourth-rate actor and was surprised when he became governor and later president.

His mother was very kind. Years later, I wrote letters or sent a telegram to Ronald Reagan telling him that his mother had visited me.

I also told him what I claimed Raymond A. Donovan was doing to us. I alleged that he wanted us to send him weekly checks connected with each person whom we brought into the ministry and for whom we built housing.

This is an example of some of the things I went through. I was kind to the two men with diabetes, and Ronald Reagan’s mother visited me. I also claim to have known five presidents of the United States in one way or another, although I will not go into that now.

Good deeds performed without Christ are, according to the scripture I am citing, like filthy rags or a menstruous cloth. What could be more unclean?

If we are not saved and do not make it our will to allow God to perform His will in and through us, then we deny our Creator and Savior the right to live in us.

According to this teaching, our papers or travel documents to the Kingdom of God are then canceled, and we are not admitted.

God came to this planet in a human being, lived a sinless life, and demonstrated that obedience is possible when we possess the will to conform ourselves to the will of God.

I teach that the alternative for a person who rejects this sacrifice is judgment, because that person counts the blood of Jesus and the work He did on earth as an accursed or evil thing and tramples it underfoot.

A person may think his or her ordinary life is more important than Christ’s sacrifice, but most people I have met have never earned even a fraction of the money that I earned before entering the ministry.

When the Lord visited me in the office, I saw visions of Heaven and hell. I also received predictions, including that He would bring my wife Susie and me together and show us what we would accomplish after marriage.

Since then, the gospel has gone throughout the world. I hear ministers repeating many of the things that Susie and I taught. Some nearly repeat them word for word, while others twist what we said and refashion the Word of God into a lie.

The Word of God is truth and is the light that guides us through this life and into the Kingdom of Heaven. Anything contrary to the true Word is, in my teaching, a lie and a distortion from the Kingdom of Darkness.

If you remain in the world and are not saved, you remain in ignorance. I see newscasters acting as though they are highly intelligent while saying things that I regard as false and foolish.

I say the same about many judges, attorneys, district attorneys, presidents, kings, popes, and false religions. They debate because they do not possess the truth. They even ask the general public, which I regard as being in darkness, “What do you think?”

They do so because they do not know the answer, yet they expect unregenerated people in the Kingdom of Darkness to decide what is right or wrong.

According to the biblical account, the mass of humanity was wrong before the Flood. The people lived according to their own wills, and God drowned them with water that covered the earth.

God placed a rainbow in the sky as a sign that He would not again destroy the entire earth by a flood. There may be regional floods, such as the flooding associated with New Orleans and other places, but not another universal flood that destroys everyone.

The rainbow reminds us of that promise. I teach that scripture instead warns of a future judgment by fire against those who remain in the Kingdom of Darkness, love darkness rather than light, and prefer unrighteousness to righteousness.

I counsel you from God’s Word to come to the light.

If you are firmly committed to darkness—if you love nightclubs, backbiting, lying, stealing, adultery, fornication, lesbianism, homosexuality, or other conduct that this sermon condemns—and mock the light, then I teach that God will judge you.

I refer to the first chapter of Proverbs, where wisdom says that, because people rejected counsel and mocked correction, she would laugh at their calamity and mock when fear came upon them.

Some people choose sexual conduct condemned in this sermon, while others choose religious teachings that I reject, including Islam and claims attributed to Muhammad and the Quran.

Jesus warned that false messiahs would appear throughout the earth. I thank God that light exists in this world, although darkness does not receive or understand it.

People in darkness cannot understand someone taking a stand for righteousness. They cannot understand a person living in Christ so that Christ’s righteousness operates through that person.

I have heard Creflo Dollar tell people, “We are the righteousness of God.” My question is: How does he know that every listener is righteous?

Speaker 3 – Congregation / Supporting Voice or Voices:

Amen.

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

There are people sitting in congregations who know that they are not receiving the light and have no intention of doing so.

I teach that those who hear many messages, know the truth, and still deny it face more severe judgment. The truth, which is Christ, then denies them, and they receive strong delusion so that they believe falsehood.

They believe that their own thoughts are true and that the words of Jesus are false. Scripture describes people without legitimate spiritual parentage as bastards, and it warns of a judgment in which God will destroy the wicked.

Let us return to the letter.

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

This was still the first letter.

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

I would like to hear what else the writer says. Continue.

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

“Some people who had never read a Christian booklet in their entire lives are now reading your literature and responding to the good news, the first of its kind in this land.

“In our church, a seventeen-man special group called the New Jerusalem Team has taken it upon itself to go into the streets with your booklets. The response has been encouraging, and the campaign has brought revival to churches in this locality.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

The literature has had similar reported effects here in the United States and throughout the world. I thank God because His Word can change people’s lives if they abide in it.

Live in His Word and in Him, not merely in your own flesh. Sacrifice your self-will to the Lord so that He may live in you, bring souls back to Himself, and restore them to a place in God where they may rule spiritually.

Although ministers are rulers in one sense, every believer may exercise spiritual rule. In the hospital ward with the two men, my humanitarian actions showed that I was not hostile to them. They were Black, and my repeatedly helping them showed that I was not prejudiced against Black people.

I stayed there for several months. We were young and sometimes sparred or boxed playfully.

I often think about how much more I might have done for those two men and many others if I had been saved. I could have been a spiritual ruler in that room, not by dominating them or ordering them around, but by allowing Christ to rule in me and lead them toward the Kingdom of Heaven.

Spiritual rulership means letting the power and light of God shine through you toward people in darkness, so that they desire to enter the Kingdom of Light, the Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of God, and the Kingdom of Righteousness.

We have no righteousness without the Lord living in us. Everything we do apart from Him is spiritually unclean.

Continue.

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

“Therefore, in God’s power, I ask for additional material support: Bibles, literature, study booklets, and any other assistance at your disposal to facilitate our soul-winning campaign.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

Praise the Lord. I feel a kindred spirit in you, and you will receive these things. What else?

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

“May Almighty God bless you in Jesus’ name.

“Your son in His vineyard,
“Pastor Eszban
“Lagos, Nigeria.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

And Pastor Megham, I am sure, is involved in every way. Praise the Lord.

Where is the next response from?

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

It is a telephone-room response to the radio program.

“A woman called the witnessing line and said, ‘I thank God for Pastor Tony Alamo and that God has him speaking for Him. I love the way he speaks plainly and gets the message across. It is wonderful and beautiful. It is mesmerizing. I am very blessed to have found him on the radio. Thank you so much.’

“Jacqueline
“Hempstead, New York.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

Praise the Lord for you, Jacqueline. What is next?

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

A letter from India.

“Dear World Pastor Tony Alamo,

“I am from India. I was once part of the Hindu religion. I was saved through reading your literature, which a friend gave to me.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

Thank God.

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

“Now I have found Jesus Christ the Savior and have received salvation, which cannot be bought with money or anything else in this world.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

People in the world may now understand a little better why I say Satan is angry with me.

Anyone fighting me or this church while souls are being won is, in my view, fighting the Spirit of God. I earnestly warn such people to stop and begin positioning themselves where the Lord wants them.

God never called anyone to attack a person anointed by the Lord. In the Old Testament, David would not accuse or harm King Saul, even after Saul had become spiritually corrupted, because Saul had once been anointed.

I say that I have been anointed by the Lord. Be careful. When you accuse this soul-winning church of being evil, I teach that you risk blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

You may say negative things about me personally, but I warn against calling the work of the ministry satanic when I believe it is being performed according to the Word of God.

I teach that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is not forgiven in this age or the age to come.

I am not carrying out my own will. I believe that what I do is the will of God.

You may complain that I do not treat you as I treat others. I answer that I treat people as I believe the Lord directs me.

If you are a liar, I will not be especially friendly with you. If you are a fornicator who has known the Lord, spent years in the church, and still refuses to serve Him, I will separate myself from you as I understand the commandment to require.

Why should I act contrary to what I believe the Lord commands? If you refuse to repent, I will eventually distance myself from you and remain with those who serve the Lord.

If I am not the way you want me to be, or God is not the way you want Him to be, examine your life and compare it with the Word of God.

God will judge you by His Word at the judgment bar. It is better to judge yourself now by that Word.

Some people say that Christians are not supposed to judge. The Bible teaches that all things are to be judged according to the Word of God, not according to personal prejudice or the standards of people in the world.

Please finish the letter.

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

“Now I am very happy in Christ. I want to share with others the salvation the Lord has given me.

“One night, the Lord spoke to me in a sweet voice and told me to do His honorable ministry. At that moment, I surrendered my body, soul, and spirit to serve Him.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

The Lord brought you into His service. Amen.

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

“I need your literature in the Telugu language so that I may share these things with others. The place where I live is an underdeveloped area.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

I want Brother Dawn to report to me about what he is doing to produce more literature and Bibles in India. We are receiving many requests, and he has not been responding to me. God will raise up someone who will respond.

I receive letters like this while the devil causes many people to become slow or unresponsive.

I say that there are millions of people associated with this church throughout the world, but too few respond quickly enough to deliver the Word to people who hunger and thirst for it.

Some workers become comfortable because they are warm, fed, clothed, housed, and have their utilities paid. If they become ill and are not healed, they may receive hospital care, as may their children.

One unruly child suffered a serious head injury. Blood accumulated and placed pressure on his brain, and doctors performed surgery to drain it and relieve the pressure.

I told him, “If the Lord takes you, say hello to Jesus for me before He judges you.”

I asked whether he would do that, and he said yes.

I was trying to frighten him into serving the Lord because the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. I regarded the boy and his mother as lacking wisdom.

A person may possess information and a degree of understanding without obeying what is known. Knowledge then increases that person’s accountability.

What else does the letter say?

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

“There are many Muslims and Hindus in this area. Please send me a large quantity of your literature, copies of The Messiah, and Bibles to give to others.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

I consider this person a strong candidate to receive a very large shipment, possibly thousands of pieces of literature, copies of The Messiah, and Bibles.

Bring this request to me tomorrow. I do not know how much has already been sent, so make sure you check with me about this person. This person appears sincere.

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

“The surrounding area contains many hospitals, villages, schools, cinema halls, and other places. I hope the Lord will provide all these materials through you so that many may be saved for Christ.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

He will.

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

“May the Lord bless you, your family, and your honorable worldwide ministry. We are praying for you.

“Please remember me in your prayers so that I may do His great will until the end.

“Praise the Lord,
“Brother P. Rajah
“Nalgonda District, Andhra Pradesh, India.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

God bless you too, brother. Praise the Lord. Is there anything else?

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

No. That is all.

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

We have about five minutes remaining, so let us continue with some of the written teaching. Go ahead.

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

“We are designed to be led by the Holy Spirit and not to follow those who are carnal.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

God fashioned us in His likeness and image so that we would be like Him. He has always wanted to live in and through us. This is the way He planned to reconcile humanity to Himself.

He loved the world so much that He sent His only begotten Son. Jesus was born as a human being and lived in every respect as a human being. He repeatedly called Himself the Son of Man.

He also identified Himself with the living God and said that the works were performed by the Father dwelling in Him.

I teach that the same principle applies to anyone who belongs to the Lord, is born again of the Spirit, and has God living within.

We are the continuation of Christ’s work. We are what I call the clean-up or mop-up crew and the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ on earth. The Head lives in us, we live in the Head, and together believers are described as His body.

We are among the final people being saved on the face of the earth. Humanity has become increasingly wicked through the years, yet God still lives in willing human beings.

They must willingly sacrifice their lives, as Christ willingly sacrificed His life on the cross and offered His shed blood as atonement for our former sins.

If we commit something through genuine ignorance, I teach that His sacrifice still covers us. We are not, however, to continue deliberately in sin, because scripture says that the person who practices sin is of the devil.

Speaker 2 – Reader / Program Assistant:

“Whenever someone of the world attempts to tell us what to do, unless that person occupies a legitimate position of authority recognized under the law, there may arise within us an attitude of resentment or resistance, because it is not the Lord’s will that believers be spiritually ruled by the unsaved.”

Speaker 1 – Host / Preacher:

If someone tells you that homosexuality, lesbianism, or fornication is normal and morally acceptable, resistance arises because that teaching conflicts with the interpretation I am presenting.

Returning to the two men in the hospital ward: if I were there today as a saved person, I would consider myself a spiritual leader in that situation. I do not mean ruling over the men through force. I mean ministering the Spirit to them.

No matter where you are, you can exercise this kind of spiritual leadership within your living space if you know the Word of God and God lives in you.

You must first learn the scriptures and be born again of the Spirit. That can happen right now. It is not necessarily a long process.

You can be saved and born again of the Spirit at this moment by sincerely saying this prayer to the Lord with all your heart:

“My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God.

“I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my filthy former sins.

“I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit.

“I open the door of my heart and invite You into my heart to live there from now on. Wash all my filthy sins away in Your precious blood.

“I open the door of my heart. Come in, Lord, and live there forever.

“Your Word says that all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Therefore, I know You have heard me. I know You have answered me. I know I am saved, and I thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving my soul.”

Raise your hands and praise and thank the Lord.

Thank You, Jesus, for saving my soul. Praise You, Jesus. Praise You, Holy Father. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for visiting me.
