The Beast, the Mark, and the King of the Pit
The sermon interprets the locusts’ crowns, human-like faces, women’s hair, lions’ teeth, iron breastplates, chariot-like wings, and scorpion tails as signs of terrifying power and judgment. Alamo connects their crowns to the beast and argues that people who reject God have already accepted the spirit of the mark of the beast before receiving any future physical mark. He says those who belong to God will refuse a system that controls buying and selling. He then identifies the king over the locusts as the angel of the bottomless pit, called Abaddon in Hebrew and Apollyon in Greek.
Reconciliation Through Jesus Christ

Lord, continue anointing me. Show the people of the world Your revelations of the things that are happening now and shall surely soon come to pass. Lord, let everybody know who the beast is and where he is coming from. Let them receive through me whatever it is that You want to say. Let me not say anything other than what You want me to say.
Only Your Spirit - Your seven Spirits - can lead people out of the very sinful, blasphemous spirit of pride. Only You can penetrate that enough for people to stop having this sinful, evil spirit of pride. This is the spirit of blasphemy: people thinking they know more than You, that they are more powerful than You, and that they are more powerful and knowledgeable than those You are anointing, calling, and choosing to lead people out of the world and out of the blasphemous spirit of pride into the Spirit of the living God.
Lord, I ask that You do these things. Rebuke Satan. Bind him, as I bind him, from the words You will be saying through me. Let souls be saved - however many You want - and penetrate into their pride and their spirit of pride, where they think they know something of value. Only You, Lord, are of value. I ask that You open doors for us and shut every door to Satan. Open many doors for us. In Jesus' name. And everyone says amen.
Now, there is no friend to me like Jesus. We can take everything to the Lord in prayer, and He accommodates us if we are truly out of the spirit of pride, which is blasphemy. We belong to Him. We are not ashamed of being the Lord's. He gives us everything we need: healing, power, and the ability to win people to the Lord.
There is no friend to me like Jesus. I recorded this years ago with our orchestra and singers. It has been a long time, so let's hear it again.

If we keep His commandments, we cannot fall. It is impossible. The Word of God is Jesus, and Jesus will never let us fall away if we do what the Word of God tells us.
Now we are in chapter 9 of the book of Revelation. Verse 1 says: "And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth." To him was given the key of the bottomless pit. We know this is a messenger, an angel from God, and he was given the assignment. He was given the key of the bottomless pit, and he opened it.
Verse 2 says: "And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit."
Why would God do a thing like that? Because people are so full of pride. Pride pushes God away. They say, "We don't need God. We don't need anything like God." So the Lord sends out one of the angels, and the angel opens the bottomless pit. Out of it comes all this smoke, like the smoke of a great, powerful furnace. There is so much smoke that the sun and the air are darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
Let them try to figure this one out. How are they going to breathe in smoke when they cannot even get sunshine anymore?
Verse 3 says: "And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth; and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power."
We know what kind of power a scorpion on earth has. We are talking about heaven and earth. This is the earth receiving these things because people on earth have so much pride that they push God away and become antichrist, against God. God shows them, little by little, who truly has the power. If you have so much power, turn off the smoke. Get rid of these locusts coming out of the pit that have stingers like scorpions.
Verse 4 says that it was commanded that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads. Those are the ones full of pride and blasphemy. Therefore, there is no seal of God in their foreheads.
Notice that the Lord is the one ordering this. If the Lord tells them to do it, do not say, "God is supposed to be full of love." That is what false prophets tell you, that He is only love, love, love, and has no enemies. That is foolishness.
Verse 5 says that it was given to the locusts that they should not kill the men, but that they should be tormented five months. Their torment was as the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. That is terrible pain. These creatures keep stinging men for five months.
In those days, men shall seek death and shall not find it. The Lord does not want them to die yet. They are full of pride, which is the same spirit of blasphemy. They have pushed away God, so He lets them endure this torment.
Verse 7 describes the shapes of the locusts as like horses prepared unto battle. On their heads were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. When you see a crown, think about the beast that has crowns. One crown is not enough for the beast; he has many. This is the nature of the beast - full of pride.
So the Lord torments the people who follow this blasphemous beast. He sends locusts that look like horses, each with crowns like gold on their heads and faces like the faces of men. It is as though the Lord is saying, "You think you are king of the hill. I will send little insects to torment you, and I will make them king over you."
Verse 8 says they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. Their work is overpowering, like lions tearing at the people. Verse 9 says they had breastplates as it were breastplates of iron. No one can get them to become sympathetic, because God planted it in their hearts to carry out this judgment.
The sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. God sends them into battle. Once God sends something - whether a dreaded disease or these creatures - there is nothing people can do about it.
Verse 10 says they had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months. The Lord does not like people who blaspheme Him. Those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit have no forgiveness in this world or in the world to come. The Lord wants everyone who belongs to Him to see this scripture fulfilled, so they will know that these people are going to spend eternity in a place far worse than what they receive now. They are going to hell and the lake of fire.
The Lord resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. I saw myself in heaven. I looked as though I were walking with great confidence, but the pride Christians have is pride in God and in Jesus. They are proud that they made it into the kingdom of God. There is nothing wrong with being proud of God. But to walk around thinking you have anything in yourself to be proud of is blasphemy.
Those who push God away and love blasphemy have already taken the mark of the beast in spirit. Later, they will willingly take it in their flesh when they are told it will protect their identity and allow them to buy and sell. Those who are of the Lord will not take it. The beast thinks he is wise to corner people, saying that if they want to buy, sell, or feed their families, they must take the mark. But the Lord knows what they are doing.
Verse 11 says they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek his name is Apollyon.
Verse 12 says: "One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter." That would be a woe, if you kept getting stung for five months and could not die, even though you wanted to.
Now I see that it is time for everyone to be reconciled to God. The way we get reconciled is by accepting God's only begotten Son, the One who never sinned from the day He was born to the day He was crucified.
Say this prayer to the Lord God through Jesus' name:
My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God. I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my former, filthy sins. I believe that You, Father, raised Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit.
I open the door of my heart, and I invite You into my heart, Lord Jesus, Holy Father, and Holy Spirit. Jesus, wash all my former, filthy sins away in the precious blood that You shed for me on the cross at Calvary. You will not turn me away, Lord Jesus. You will save my soul. I know because Your Word says so. You value Your Word higher than Your name, and therefore I trust Your Word and love Your Word. Therefore I know You have heard me, and You have answered me, and I know I am saved. I praise and thank You, Lord.
