This song honors refugees and those displaced by conflict. It was released on Feb 7, 2025 as the second single from Shervin Boloorian's forthcoming album, "Unbroken". While the original song was penned by Boloorian, it is inspired by a touching poem by peacebuilder and Ted X speaker, Manal Omar called, "Let this Little Girl Win."

Song Notes
2020 Global Peace Song awardee Shervin wrote this song after joining a "peace through music" project during Covid. After the project and the song process stalled, Shervin still felt motivated to complete the song on his own. It spoke to his own refugee journey and contained a powerful universal message of overcoming the odds. Shervin later came up with a new chorus and reworked a lot of the lyrics so that they paralleled his own personal experience of coming to terms with his past. Throughout the songwriting process, Arab American Manal Omar's poem “Let This Little Girl Win” was an inspiring force for the song. Shervin plays Persian Ney on this record and Grammy winning producer, Kipper Mark Eldridge helped Shervin simplify and add elegance to the song. Kipper's creative advice enabled the song to finally find its way to completion.
The first time this song was performed in Bali in Dec 2024, it was arranged and conducted by aJewish American choir leader, Dan Kohane. During a time of so much bloodshed and forced displacement in the Middle East, Dan instantly joined the project. The result: a Palestinian, a Jew and an Iranian all united as artists and humanitarians to share a song with a message of peace to a live audience, instantly making it a career highlight for Shervin, who is also an experienced healing-music artist as well as a singer-songwriter..

Shervin Boloorian is a world class singer, songwriter based in his current home of Bali, where he is also a sound therapy trainer, natural sound artist and author. His multilayered identity is as diverse and unique as his musical talents. His deeply touching silky vibrato singing style, even if he were to serenade you about the harshest subjects, extends a feeling that all can still be well in this world.
Shervin's voice and music moves audiences by authentically conveying his own healing journey as an Iranian refugee from a broken home. Singing in multiple languages, Shervin received critical acclaim in 2020, by earning three Global Peace Song Awards for "I Hear You Mother Earth: a collection of medicine songs from different parts of the world. "One with the Beloved," a Sufi-inspired East-West music for peace, was endorsed by best-selling Rumi translator Coleman Barks.
Shervin’s vocals are the standout feature of his latest material, fearlessly breathing life and ghostly emotional intensity into each track as he explores empowerment from the dark depths of personal loss. Sung entirely in English, Shervin's search for peace and self-acceptance are polished and arranged beautifully by Grammy-winning producer Kipper Eldridge (Sting’s Brand New Day).
Dedicating his life to music’s power to heal, Shervin launched Bali's first live healing music program at the famous yoga barn in Ubud in 2012. He has since served tens of thousands of guests in 14 countries worldwide. Aside from being a celebrated vocalist and award-winning natural music artist, Shervin certified as a sound practitioner from 2011-2018, and trained in Urban Shamanism in 2007. He is now recognized as an accomplished sound healing teacher-trainer. He published his first book, "The Three Zones of Sound" in 2022 and is author of numerous articles on the subject
