Oh, oh, we have a dog with the, um, with the cone of shame.

No, I'm just laughing because before the show, I didn't see her back there and all of a sudden.

Okay. So Rebecca on the docket tonight.
Yes.
Talk about haunted houses because you just bought one.
Okay.
I did.
I just bought, um, a house in New Hampshire.
It is a house that was built in 1856.
The first people that lived there were blacksmiths and then the people who their son stayed there and it was a carriage house.
Okay.
And there was a racetrack in town. So the horses used to stay at the carriage house.
And then it was a printer's press and it did schoolbooks printed schoolbooks in the home and in the garage in the carriage house.
And then after that, I think it was a bullet maker.
Oh, a bullet maker.
Okay.
And then, and now me.
And now you.
I mean, I'll give you the long story short. I had a dream about a printer's drawer and I don't know if you know what a printer's drawer is a lot of people hang them on the wall as like little shadow boxes, but they actually hold the printer letters that you roll over the paper.
Oh, okay.
On old books.
So when you pull the drawer out, it's ABCD. You know, one, two, three, four, five, right?
So I was like, I'm going to collect them in my twenties and I had a dream about them.
And so I wound up buying a printer's press from my dream.
And when I first drove by the house, somebody waved me in like wave to me.
And I was like, that's weird because I didn't know where I was.
I didn't even know the house was for sale yet and somebody was waving at me and come to find out nobody's been in the home for 11 years.
They were waiting for you.
And yeah, so haunted.
I think they're happy I'm there, but they're very active because they're so happy I'm there. So it's like haunted in a good way.
Well, that is possible being.
You can you can have a positive one. Sometimes people.
So, so, so, you know, so with the show that I'm in, we go, we go to places.

But it's the work. The work we're doing is a lot darker than the work we do with forever family.
You know, it's not about kind of about grief, but it's about, you know, trying to solve these crimes and all this stuff.
And, you know, when you go to a haunted house that has sort of bad things that happen there, you know, like God forbid someone gets unalived or something.
You know, that happens and that energy will stay in the house and those people not necessarily trapped there.
Maybe they could be or maybe they feel like they need to tell their story. So they return.
But I find a lot of times old houses like yours, they were so beloved and they want the right people to live in there and they like, they're not stuck there, but it's like still their house and they wanted to make sure the right person's there and they come hang out and you can hear them.
So, of course, they're going to stick around and drop by and knock on the walls and stuff around.
Well, I went on a mini tour.
I was gone and I saw the house and exactly 59 days later, I was in the house.
Also, you really wasted no time.
It was a little less than three months. So when spirit pushes you to do something, I really felt like I was kind of in a daydream.
So I was on tour and I went across country all the way to Nebraska.
And when I hit Tennessee, I decided to buy the house. I was actually in Graceland. So props to Elvis.
I was sitting there and I was like, well, if you could buy a big house, I could buy a big house.
And it's a beautiful big little house Rebecca said pictures earlier.
It's really nice.
But I will tell you why I bought it.
As a medium, Joe, do you ever feel like when you get tired, you're done, but you feel like maybe there's a little more you could do as a medium.
For somebody like you left somebody, maybe not questioning anything, but you left somebody and you know that have the opportunity, you could give them more.
And I don't mean more of a reading, but maybe more of an explanation about why something came through.
Yeah, or maybe a little more understanding about why they would have said something or done something in transition.
So I'm really hoping that my home can be a grief retreat and I can give more of myself into individuals when they know where they are.
Do you know what I was going to tell you earlier and now I will tell you on air with witnesses. Now I know why.
When you told me you bought a big house in New Hampshire, my first instinct was going to say, Rebecca, you're going to have like events and stuff there.
And then I was like, let me leave it. Let me leave her alone. She didn't even move in yet.
I haven't even moved in yet.
I swear on my life that I felt that. And then you sent me the picture like from the back view where I could see how big the house was.
And I was like, oh, she's got room for like a little retreat moment there.
But I think a lot of people like the foundation does.

Oh, I'll go course. I'll come. Why would I?
You guys all heard it live on air.
When Rebecca.

I'll come.
I'll do readings or something. We'll have wine. You know, we'll make it fun.
A wine moment. Sure. Yeah, we'll make it. That's always fun. But the two of us, it is always fun as well.
Have you gone to old homes? Have you been? I mean, I've seen your shows. They've seen like buildings or landmarks. Have you been?
Yeah. So because my show is in base in LA, basically, the original name of the show was going to be haunted Hollywood, but then we changed it.
So I've been to, let me think, the oldest, I know that I think the oldest place I may have been.
Well, I was somewhere very old in season two.
But that has an air get. So I can't talk about that. But I have been to some old places in season two. Season one.
I think the oldest was like maybe 1912 or 1920 or something. Like not super old like that, but I have investigated in places outside of the show that I was in.
Oh, you know, it was really old actually was I filmed a pilot that never aired at the American Horror Store in the murder house.
But it wasn't as haunted as the show, but that place was super old. I filmed there with Holly Madison and Bridget Mark.
We filmed a pilot for a show, which was. Yeah, shout out to them love.
And they were so it was so much fun. It was going to be like such a fun haunted show and then it just didn't get picked up.
Well, you know what? It's for anything that brings the message across that spirit lives on chooses what they want to do, bring through and bring through.
And following what you your intuition is too. I mean, I really felt like when I decided I wanted to do this and I knew that it was going to be good for so many people.
It was like I was walking in a daydream and right like you're almost. Yeah, it just flowing. You're barely doing it. You're just like there to sign the paperwork.
No, I'm literally like barely in there. Yeah, I'm I'm I'm I'm at that transition point where I'm leaving one and join and going up north. So my last events in Connecticut are May 31st and June 1st.
So you're you're really doing it. Well, I will say before you can't believe it. One one last point to make in general about this is when you're on the right track and spirit and your loved ones are guiding you your spirit guides the universe.
It does kind of feel like you're almost not even do because you know most we're a human right. So even when we want to do something we always kind of question like am I doing the right thing like how's this going to end up when you're supposed to do something.
I always find you like barely think about it. You just you like make the decision and you're like, no, no, no, this is this happened already like I'm not I'm I'm literally just going through the motions here but this is already going to be.
Tell you a really scary thing that happened though. Yes. Okay. So up in the attic for some unbeknownst reason there was a clothesline and on the clothesline were closed and the clothes had been hanging there for over over 10 years so they were all bleached white and it wasn't like they were dirty or anything.
And I had to take the clothes pins off and some of the clothes pins were like your great grandmother's clothes pins. You know they didn't open and close they just slid on right and when I got them all down in the trash pack.
I had saved as many as I could and as I was tying the trash bag. One of them came out of the trash bag and fell on the floor.
Okay. Like like somebody reached in and grabbed it or somebody pushed it from the inside and maybe they said why the hell you throwing at my vintage.
All I know is that the trunks I get still upstairs in the attic. That's all I'm going to say. I dropped the bag and ran and was like thank you for the clothespin piece out. Whoever's grandmother that was said leave my clothes pins alone.
I'm hanging my clothes up. What are you doing? That's what that was. It was ridiculously funny. Anyway. Spooky. Spooky. All right well for those of you who are just joining the show our guest tonight is certified medium Rebecca Lissero.

Yes. I need you to know that your dad just loves you so very much. I know that you're calling out to him. I know that you're reaching out to him.
And I know that he probably wasn't the most perfect dad in the world. And I feel like he's trying to tell me that there's people around you that maybe aren't letting you.
Letting you love him and grieve him like you're supposed to. Do you understand what I'm saying?
He's been gone for a long time. So. Yeah. Okay. Do people not bring him up?
They bring my mother up more than they bring him up. Okay. Okay. Now know that you just fed the medium telling me that your mom was in spirit.
And I kind of already knew that because for the very first reading and not that you'll be able to see on my paper, but I wrote down mama and I wrote down dad.

It may not have done like, oh, best friend cousin kind of thing,
but he definitely has a huge amount of admiration for you.
