Meg Heart wrote this real story to give Rose a voice so the rest of us can hear her truth; to get her story into the world so her pain can heal others, and most of all to open these important conversations that lead to positive change - Published through KMD Books whose mission is to share powerful stories. Carbon Under Pressure is Meg Heart's first book being launched on 5th November 21. It is based on real events that happened to Rose. Rose's story is shocking, riveting, and unforgettable. What happened to Rose could happen to anyone. ‘Rose’ cannot speak out under her real name due to laws that forbid the public disclosure of certain information in her story (like the experience of 2021 Australian of the year Grace Tame). She faced three choices: stay silent; tell a lesser story; or share the raw and real events from her life in a new way. That’s when she found Meg Heart. The team at Meg Heart believes we can only heal as individuals and as a society when the silence is broken, and the truth can be shared without fear. Carbon Under Pressure is only the first of many projects that the team at Meg Heart plans to bring to life and share with the world. Real stories are the most important stories, and the world needs more of them. Leigh Hearl is the founder of Meg Heart. Leigh believes in the power of real stories to change the world.

The Author and Artist Hour
Kez is ever the storyteller and a popular speaker at many local events; However mentoring others to tell their stories has become a large part of Kez’s life, running creative writing workshops for those that have a story to tell.
Encouraging and mentoring others to follow their passion for writing has resulted in four of her writing protégés becoming published authors. Kez also invites published authors in fiction to contact her, as she enjoys introducing their work to Facebook and Instagram by video.
