Kooch Daniels and Debbie Dobbins - Unlocking Ancient Wisdom and Inner Abundance | A Guide to Runes and Spiritual Wealth
This episode of Pop Talk with Mary Jane Pop explores the intersection of ancient mystical traditions and modern self-transformation. Guests Kuch Daniels and Debbie Dobbins share insights on using Rune stones for guidance and tapping into the "inner billionaire" to achieve soul-aligned prosperity. The discussion emphasizes shifting internal frequencies and setting powerful intentions to overcome life's obstacles.
The Mystical Language of Rune Stones
Rune stones are an ancient oracular language dating back to Nordic and Germanic traditions, often attributed to the god Odin. According to mythology, Odin hung himself from the Yggdrasil (the Tree of Life) for nine days and nights to achieve a state of spiritual regeneration, eventually receiving the runes as a gift from divine spirits. These symbols were widely used by the Celts, Saxons, and Vikings across Northern Europe, from Finland to Scotland. While different regions developed unique sets, such as the 24-stone Germanic Futhark, the core purpose remains a sacred means of tuning into vibrational energy and divine insight.
To interact with runes, practitioners often use a "casting" method or draw a single stone from a pouch after a moment of meditation. The interpretation depends heavily on the orientation of the stone (upright or reversed) and the intention of the reader. It is emphasized that the energy of the person using the stones directs the frequency of the communication; a positive mindset yields constructive guidance, while a negative or manipulative intent will reflect a lower vibration.
Activating the Inner Billionaire
The "Inner Billionaire" is defined not by external bank balances, but as an inherent sense of abundance and freedom. Debbie Dobbins argues that prosperity is a frequency held within the body rather than a mere intellectual mindset. Many individuals push away abundance by clinging to "money stories"—narratives of scarcity or unworthiness inherited from family or society. By shifting one's electromagnetic energy and embracing gratitude, it is possible to move from "broke" to a state of soul-aligned wealth, regardless of past traumas or financial hardships.
For women specifically, achieving this state requires breaking away from the "masculine construct" of constant pushing, driving, and analytical perfectionism. True power comes from balancing the Yin (intuition, creativity, listening) with the Yang (action, analysis). By letting go of the need to be "perfect" and ignoring the "compareschlager"—the toxic habit of comparing one's internal feelings to someone else's curated external image—women can reclaim their authentic power and allow abundance to flow naturally.
Whether through the ancient symbols of the runes or the modern application of quantum physics and frequency shifting, the path to a better life lies in internal evolution. By releasing fear, embracing gratitude, and recognizing that prosperity is an inherent state of being, individuals can navigate a negative world with confidence and light.

[00:25] Speaker 2: And welcome. Have we got a show for you? This is gonna take you by storm. Uh, this is all kind of a positive thing. Uh, a little bit later on, we're gonna be talking about, are you ready for this? Being an inner billionaire. It's in you. That inner billionaire is there. All you gotta do is figure out how to get it out. (laughs) And we'll do, we'll talk about that. But before we do talk about that, I want us to talk about exactly what is happening in our lives and what influences our lives. Have you ever heard of rune stones? That's R-U-N-E, rune stones. Tarot cards, palm readings, astrology, crystal balls. I can go on and on and on. Well, Kuch Daniels knows, because she has worked with all these venues, including balancing chakras, which we already talked about the last time that Kuch was on. The more is mystical, spirituality, oracular traditions, and transpersonal psychology, and she shares all those archetypes in Stars, Cards, and Stones. And this is only her latest.
[01:39] Speaker 2: (laughs) I mean, she keeps growing with so many more things. How you doing, Coach?
[01:44] Speaker 3: I'm pretty good. Very happy to be here. Thank you, Mary.
[01:48] Speaker 2: I, anytime. Anytime. Okay, so we're gonna talk specifically about rune stones. Now, um, I've never told this, uh, to the folks on the air, but many, many years ago, 'cause I've been doing talks, talk radio for a long time, Coach, um, and about 30 years ago, maybe even longer, um, I, we talked about rune stones on my, one of my shows. And I, I got sent from the, the beautiful person, a pouch, you know, with these, uh, actual stones with symbols on it. And, you know, I didn't know anything about it, and then she had the book that came, went along with it to kind of explain what rune stones do. Um, and I couldn't find them, so I had to, to go quickly (laughs) on Amazon, 'cause I thought, "I gotta have the rune stones in front of me when we're talking about this with Coach." Uh, and I've got my own little rune stones right here in my little pouch. So, before we even begin with what they do, let's begin with, where do they date back to? Is it, uh, Nordic? Uh, is it Germanic?
[02:53] Speaker 2: Or is it all of the above?
[02:55] Speaker 3: All of the above, and basically people give credit to the god Odin, who was the principal god of the Teutonic people in the northern European countries.
[03:12] Speaker 2: Okay.
[03:12] Speaker 3: And Odin was fearless and very heroic, and he went on a, um, a journey for self-transformation, and in, in that time period, they believed in nine realities or nine realms that created the universe. And he hung himself upside down on a tree called the Yggdrasil. It was their magical tree of life, and he hung himself upside down for nine days and nights without any food or water-
[03:44] Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
[03:45] Speaker 3: ... to accelerate his, uh, regeneration. And (coughs) at the end of the nine days, he stabbed himself with a sword in the spirit of, uh, sacred transformation. But what happened is he opened his eyes and he saw these magical symbols on the ground, and it turns out that the, the, the divine spirits gave him this mystical language called the rune stone.
[04:09] Speaker 2: Huh.
[04:10] Speaker 3: So that's the, that's the mythological beginning of them.
[04:14] Speaker 2: Okay.
[04:15] Speaker 3: But they were, uh, they were actually just the, the, a very unique divinatory or oracular language initially in Northern Europe, and they were part of the Celtic and Germanic and, uh, the Saxons and the Vikings. And they were in, I, I think from like Finland, there's runes, different sets of rune stones in Finland all the way to, to Scotland. So that whole northern area, and oh, the Vikings. Vikings-
[04:45] Speaker 2: Oh, okay. The Vikings too.
[04:45] Speaker 3: ... of course made them popular.
[04:47] Speaker 2: Now, i- are the meanings of the stones different from the country or the tradition, or are the meanings pretty much the same across the board?
[04:58] Speaker 3: Well, (sighs) there's actually, uh, different rune sets for different countries with different numbers of runes.
[05:07] Speaker 2: Oh.
[05:07] Speaker 3: So-
[05:08] Speaker 2: Okay, now I've got 25.
[05:10] Speaker 3: Okay, you have the Germanic Futhark, or the Germanic runes.
[05:14] Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
[05:15] Speaker 3: And those are very, tho- those are the beginning of like England and, um, the, what we'd call, uh, you know, the United Kingdom area. They have the, the, those are the runes from that area.
[05:30] Speaker 2: Okay.
[05:30] Speaker 3: But there were runes that were different in Finland and, ah, you know, I have, I have about five different sets with different sort of the runes.
[05:38] Speaker 2: Okay. Now I gotta be honest with you. I mean, these symbols are weird.
[05:43] Speaker 3: Well, you're not gonna... (laughs) You're not gonna be able to read them if you think that. (laughs)
[05:47] Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I mean, it-
[05:48] Speaker 3: You have to think of them as a divine language, and then, you know-
[05:51] Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
[05:51] Speaker 3: ... and like try to tune into like the vibrational energy and the gods. And, you know, they're very sacred because they go back thousands and thousands and thousands of years.
[05:59] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I'm not trying to put them down or anything, but it just, you know... symbols that I, I don't, I don't... Well, I don't understand them 'cause obviously I don't know how to read them, um.
[06:10] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[06:10] Speaker 2: I've got a little booklet that's t- you know, I guess (laughs) I can look them up. But what, what, why would I look at rune stones? Do I ask questions? Do they just, you know, show up? Do I pick them out of a bag? Or do I put them, you know, some in some kind of-
[06:25] Speaker 3: Okay. Where, where are your rune stones right now? Are they in a box, a bag?
[06:28] Speaker 2: In... No, no, no. A little, little baggy, a little velvet baggy.
[06:31] Speaker 3: Is, is the bag large enough to put your hand in it?
[06:34] Speaker 2: Uh, my fingers. Yep.
[06:37] Speaker 3: Okay. Well, there's different ways. If you were just gonna do a really short reading, I would suggest just, you know, like sitting in a meditative po- position and just try to, like, tune into what's most important in this moment. And then, I mean, why don't you do it right now? Let's just have you do it.
[06:52] Speaker 2: Okay. Okay.
[06:52] Speaker 3: So, just kinda think about what's most important for you. If you had like a, a simple question or something that's not like, you know, your life story or the future, but just something... just kinda yes or no.
[07:05] Speaker 2: Sure. Okay.
[07:05] Speaker 3: Or, you know, how am I doing? Something we can kinda answer quickly.
[07:08] Speaker 2: Okay.
[07:08] Speaker 3: And put your fingers in and shuffle. Try to move your hand to the left like you're, like, spinning, spinning cotton candy and you're kinda turning it and turning it. And then after you turn it in, your fingers in the bag three complete circles, then try to feel in there for a stone that's gonna give you... that you, that you... and you, you say, "Thank you universe for sending me the insight that I need in this moment."
[07:35] Speaker 2: Okay.
[07:35] Speaker 3: You put your fingers in there and do the spinning with them, and after you've spun them around, then try to feel for a stone that feels like it has some electrical charge or some kind of a frequency that makes you want to pull it.
[07:48] Speaker 2: Okay.
[07:49] Speaker 3: Okay?
[07:49] Speaker 2: I'm doing that. I just did the three little circles, and now I'm just kind of now rummaging around in there, and let's see if anything jumps at me. I, I think this one's gonna be a good one. Okay. I got one.
[08:03] Speaker 3: Okay. So now, pull it out and you're gonna have to ex- describe the...
[08:07] Speaker 2: I will. I will.
[08:08] Speaker 3: Okay.
[08:08] Speaker 2: It's, it's a-
[08:09] Speaker 3: Describe what it looks like.
[08:10] Speaker 2: Okay.
[08:10] Speaker 3: Because let's tell everybody, like runes are, are lines and the lines are all joined together in an angular direction. So you're basically, all the runes have lines and their lines are connected one way or another. So how do your lines line up?
[08:26] Speaker 2: Okay. This is an M with cross, uh, crosses across the M. I think I've got it in my little booklet. It says the Mannaz.
[08:36] Speaker 3: Um, okay. That rune is called Mann. That's the Anglo-Saxon way of saying that rune. It's called Mann. And it connects with two horses' heads that are meeting in the middle.
[08:50] Speaker 2: Huh.
[08:50] Speaker 3: And horses symbolically or archetypically are extremely powerful ancient animals. And if you could afford, or if you had horses back in those earlier times, you were considered to be very wealthy because those power an- animals were saved for the royalty and those that had had something that would enable them to feed those animals and keep them safe and not be stolen from, uh, warriors, because there were a lot of warrior energy, um, people coming in and doing raids and burning villages and things. Especially in the cold winter when somebody's storage would, you know, all their food would run out and then another neighboring tribe would come and go starving to death, and... you know.
[09:36] Speaker 2: Okay.
[09:36] Speaker 3: So you had to be really careful with your, uh, possessions, but horses were, like, considered like, "Oh my God, you must be a god, you have a horse."
[09:43] Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
[09:43] Speaker 3: So, when you have that rune, it can... it represents being able to bring very powerful forces together. Where they are unified or they meet in the middle, there is a balance, and with that balance comes some kind of a connection and good communication.
[10:01] Speaker 2: Hmm. Okay, 'cause, uh, this little booklet, I, you know, I, I just got it yesterday (laughs) , so I'm trying to read up on this stuff. It says it's the self, um, it says remain modest. This is the right of the oracle. Be in the world, but not from the world.
[10:21] Speaker 3: Oh, I like that.
[10:22] Speaker 2: Y- yeah, me too. What's that mean? Um, s-
[10:25] Speaker 3: Be in the world, but not of the world?
[10:27] Speaker 2: Not from the world. Yeah. Be in the world, but not from the world.
[10:33] Speaker 3: I, I think it, it's like you're... we're all in this world but we don't have to be attached to all of the drama that can potentially create a lot of anxiety.
[10:43] Speaker 2: Okay. It also says stay receptive to impulses that come out of the divine in the inner and outer sphere. And it says if you take the itself rune, I, I don't know. Is that... I guess that's this one. And cut through, through it in the middle, you are going to receive the rune of joy and its reflection. So, there is a fine warning not to be careless. The, uh, arco... or I'm not sure what that word is. Th- this, this is kind of... the writing is very small and it's on blue. Um, acrobatically dancing energy of the balance is asked here to bring its higher self.Hmm.
[11:45] Speaker 3: Well, I- I always think the higher self is, you know... We wanna get answers, sit quietly and listen to your higher self. But, uh, w- when it says if you cut the rune in half you're gonna find joy-
[11:56] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[11:56] Speaker 3: ... that's because if you take that rune and you separate those two triangles that meet in the middle, you get the-
[12:02] Speaker 2: I got two horses.
[12:03] Speaker 3: Oh, you get the rune called joy. (laughs)
[12:06] Speaker 2: Oh.
[12:06] Speaker 3: So, that's how you find joy by s- separating those two triangles.
[12:11] Speaker 2: Oh.
[12:12] Speaker 3: But meeting in the center, the balance, helps a person... When you're, when you have that kind of balance, you, you get more in touch with your inner self, your inner truth, um, inner, you know, fresh insights. And you have, um, more just a sense of being true to yourself. So-
[12:33] Speaker 2: Hmm. Okay. So now, after I would- I've done this, you know, my, my very first rune in a long time-
[12:40] Speaker 3: Good going. You did great.
[12:41] Speaker 2: Uh, but then-
[12:42] Speaker 3: So they're not weird, are they? (laughs)
[12:43] Speaker 2: No, it's, it's not... I didn't mean weird in a bad way. I just meant weird that I don't understand them, (laughs) you know? And that's... Until I understand them, then it won't be weird anymore.
[12:53] Speaker 3: Well, before this program's over, you're gonna become a rune mistress, so just, you know-
[12:57] Speaker 2: Woohoo!
[12:57] Speaker 3: ... just know you, you can do it.
[12:58] Speaker 2: Okay. (laughs)
[12:58] Speaker 3: You're doing it. You-
[12:59] Speaker 2: Okay. Now, after I've done one, do I not do this anymore for a while, or you can do more?
[13:06] Speaker 3: Well, it depends on how much time you have and what your purpose is.
[13:10] Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
[13:11] Speaker 3: So, you can... There's... In the Elder Futhark that you have in your bag, those 24 runes, you can ask 24 questions and get 24 different runes.
[13:24] Speaker 2: Oh.
[13:24] Speaker 3: Or you could do what's called rune casting. And rune casting is different than when you just, like, take a rune out of your pouch to see what it's gonna say in the moment.
[13:34] Speaker 2: Oh, what is-
[13:34] Speaker 3: It gives you an opportunity to, like, make... And if you were doing tarot, it would be like doing a, a tarot card spread.
[13:40] Speaker 2: Oh. Oh, okay. Okay.
[13:41] Speaker 3: But it... These are those little stones, and when people are throwing them or tossing them, it's... The way that you read them, it's called, uh, you're casting, you're casting the runes.
[13:54] Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd probably have to have somebody like you to, to read that. (laughs) I wouldn't have any clue on how to read them.
[13:59] Speaker 3: Well, i- it... See, now you've gotta get more optimistic. Here you are doing this incredible program to help enlighten all of us. You have to believe that you're- you can get it, you're gonna be really good at it. Because attitude can make or break your ability to do something.
[14:15] Speaker 2: Oh, that's true.
[14:16] Speaker 3: So you wanna believe that, you know, you can get this and you're gonna be really good. And by the end of this program, you're gonna have the blueprint to become a rune mistress.
[14:24] Speaker 2: Oh, wow. Okay. I just picked another one. (gasps) Ooh.
[14:28] Speaker 3: Okay.
[14:28] Speaker 2: I like this one. I don't know. I gotta look it up and see. It looks like... Oh, how do I explain this? A line on the bottom and-
[14:38] Speaker 3: Is it a... What kind of a line on the bottom?
[14:40] Speaker 2: Well, it's not a bot- on the bottom. It's sort of, like, a straight line up and down, and then it's got two flags.
[14:47] Speaker 3: Okay. Are the flags pointing upward or downward?
[14:50] Speaker 2: Up. Well, I... It depends on how I hold this thing. When I picked it out, it was up, upward.
[14:56] Speaker 3: Okay. Then, then let's leave it there. If you picked it up and it was up, that's, that's the right way to read it.
[15:02] Speaker 2: Oh. Oh, okay.
[15:03] Speaker 3: Because you can r- read runes upright, sideways, reversed.
[15:08] Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
[15:08] Speaker 3: So if you pulled it out and it was th- those little side flags, those lines-
[15:13] Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
[15:13] Speaker 3: ... were going up, you wanna just leave it that way, because that's an upward-facing rune, which is usually... You wanna... You get the full force or the full energy of what that rune means. And that is a rune that is very auspicious, as it means prosperity, money, getting good things that you want.
[15:32] Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. It's called, uh, well, in my little booklet, it's called-
[15:36] Speaker 3: Fehu.
[15:38] Speaker 2: Yeah. F-E-H-U, Fehu?
[15:40] Speaker 3: Well, you know, in my (laughs) ... This is... You know, you asked about what... all these runes in different countries, were they the same. A lot of them have the same meaning and different spelling or different pronunciation, but similar.
[15:52] Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
[15:53] Speaker 3: Because some... The earlier runes were before there was even a writt- written language. But then by the time they'd been talked about and discussed for 2000 or 3000 years, people changed the spelling. And if, if they're being talked about in Scotland versus Finland, people are having different pronunciations and different spellings. So my spelling that I have in my book, um, Stars, Cards, and Stones-
[16:18] Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
[16:18] Speaker 3: ... it is spelled F-E-O-H, which is the, um, more of the Eng- um, Anglo-Saxon pronunciation.
[16:25] Speaker 2: Oh, okay. Yeah.
[16:26] Speaker 3: And I think yours might be more the f- uh, the Germanic Futhark.
[16:30] Speaker 2: Yeah. And, and it says prosperity, food, and livestock.
[16:34] Speaker 3: Yep. You're in.
[16:36] Speaker 2: Oh, oh, okay. That's interesting. Uh, it's kinda fascinating, because, uh, you pick them, you just don't know what's gonna come up next. It's kinda cool. (laughs)
[16:45] Speaker 3: I know. And when you're doing rune casting, like laying the stones out, you can have... You could do it with just two stones, but usually, you want, like, maybe three, six, nine. And then, a lot of people use the symbols of, um, of the Vikings or the Cel- uh, uh, Celtic people, perhaps like a spiral or, like, the symbol, uh, the sym- of Thor's hammer, and, uh, and then put the runes in a design that represents that symbol.
[17:18] Speaker 2: Okay.
[17:19] Speaker 3: So, th- you can create all kind of different designs.
[17:23] Speaker 2: Oh-
[17:23] Speaker 3: But if I was... if, if I was your teacher, and I was saying, "Well, you know, like, think about a symbol that you really, really love, and, you know, try to see it on your table in your mind, and then put down and lay down your stones so that it creates, like, an outline of that symbol."
[17:43] Speaker 2: Gotcha. Uh, I-
[17:44] Speaker 3: So, many of us are very familiar with the cross.
[17:47] Speaker 2: Okay.
[17:47] Speaker 3: So, and in, um, olden times, there were Celtic crosses, which are different than Roman crosses.
[17:53] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
[17:54] Speaker 3: But the- so if you just, like, did, like, a straight line with- say you did a seven card- oh, seven card. You can tell my brain is still in the tarot. Uh, if you did a seven stone reading, so maybe you would do, like, five runes going straight down in a line, and then you would do two on each side of the middle stone to create, like, a symbol for the cross. And that would give you a- a rune cast that you could then, uh, interpret for your situation or whatever your question is.
[18:26] Speaker 2: I just picked another one. You- you- I'm- I'm getting fascinated with this.
[18:30] Speaker 3: Oh, yay!
[18:31] Speaker 2: Um, th-
[18:31] Speaker 3: You're getting good.
[18:32] Speaker 2: Um, this- this one is interesting. Um, now, like you said, it could be the Germanic, but it's, uh, E- E-I-H-W-A-Z. It says defense or defensive forces. Yew, Y-E-W.
[18:49] Speaker 3: I think what you have is, um, is Eihwaz, right? Is it, like, Eihwaz?
[18:56] Speaker 2: Yeah, Eihwaz.
[18:57] Speaker 3: Okay, so I have a little different pronunciation. I think- I- I think my translation is- but it's for hope, right? Like, working through, um, and protecting yourself and your home and your family.
[19:15] Speaker 2: Say that again.
[19:16] Speaker 3: Uh, it's a stone of, um, protecting yourself and taking good care-
[19:23] Speaker 2: Oh.
[19:23] Speaker 3: ... of how- of the people you love, and- and really connecting in a way that, you know, you have a way of connecting that gives hope and positive energy to others.
[19:33] Speaker 2: Oh, that's interesting. Yeah, that kind of fits ex- w- what was the, uh, reading. It says, "During our tests, we gather the strength to ward off and repel blockades and defeat."
[19:46] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's protection and trying to, like, really, you know, help the people that you're connected with to make sure everybody's secure and confident, and that you have this ability to, like, you know, give- give magical, positive energy to- to bring up the- the vibration of- of, um...
[20:05] Speaker 2: That's amazing. I- yeah, I mean, reading some of these things, it's kind of fascinating, because th- these go down through history, right? I mean...
[20:14] Speaker 3: Very early history, before people were even writing any language. This started out being just a- a- a- a system of communication that was passed word by mouth. It wasn't written down. And they didn't have paper and pens back then. And when people started connecting more and trying to communicate it to others, they were per- you know, they were dumbfounded, because it's like, "Oh my gosh, they're reading these strange things." Because people would put them on- on, um, twigs and bones and thorns.
[20:46] Speaker 2: They probably thought it was evil, huh?
[20:48] Speaker 3: Well, they thought it- no, no, they thought it was mystical.
[20:51] Speaker 2: Oh, mystical.
[20:51] Speaker 3: They thought it was, like, from the gods.
[20:53] Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
[20:55] Speaker 3: But, I mean, if you had a peop- a person who was into evil and really negative, then that person might go, "Oh, we're going to do more evil."
[21:03] Speaker 2: Ah.
[21:03] Speaker 3: Because that's where their head is at. Peop- people don't understand, whatever divinatory system you use, if it's cards, astrology, rune stones, tea leaf reading, crystal balls, the energy of the person who's using them is directing what kind of a frequency they- they are going to be communicated with. So, if you're a really positive person like you are, and we all know that, 'cause we listen to your program...
[21:28] Speaker 2: (laughs)
[21:28] Speaker 3: ... then you have- you're gonna be giving positive energy through your rune stones. If a person was coming in trying to, like, "How can I- how can I, you know, make my ex-lover really suffer?" You know, because some people are weird like that.
[21:44] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true.
[21:44] Speaker 3: Then you're gonna get, like, you know, the stones are gonna be communicated through a negative vibration, and- and they're gonna appear- the- the answers that they give are gonna be more- more negative, unfortunately. But because they're being interpreted, uh, through someone who's looking through their vision or through, you know, through- through the kaleidoscope of the stones with a negative perspective.
[22:09] Speaker 2: You know, it- it's one of those things, too, because there is an awful lot of negativity in our world today. There really is.
[22:15] Speaker 3: Yes, yes.
[22:16] Speaker 2: Uh, and, you know, how do we- how do we fight back to say, "You're not gonna take over my life just because you're negative out there"?
[22:26] Speaker 3: I- I think your last statement, "You're not going to take over my life with your negativity," to l- like, really set that as your intention. Because every morning when we wake up, we can do, without even doing anything more than stirring our tea or taking a- you know, jumping out of the bathtub, when this is a good way to help yourself. When you're taking a shower, when you step into the shower, set the intention, "I am going to release all my anxiety. I am detoxing all negative energy that is in the world. I am free of negativity." And when the water goes down the drain, so does any fear or anxiety. So, that's like- you know, magick is about setting intentions, because words have power. So, what you speak to yourself helps create, like, a- a vibrational field or frequency around you and inside you that you tap into throughout the day. So, you know, every day, when you wake up in the morning, set the intention, "I am fearless. I am protected by the divine.
[23:43] Speaker 3: I am living my highest purpose, free of fear."
[23:47] Speaker 2: I like that.
[23:47] Speaker 3: Whatever your intention is, put it in a positive...
[23:51] Speaker 2: ... positive vein. Yeah.
[23:52] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[23:53] Speaker 2: And, and it should be, because we've got enough negativity out there to last us a lifetime in one day.
[23:58] Speaker 3: We're, we're bombarded with it at present time.
[24:01] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[24:01] Speaker 3: And there's a lot of people that are really scared, and, you know, we're, (laughs) we're looking, like, "Where's the cave that we can hide in?" And...
[24:07] Speaker 2: Yeah. "And how are we gonna make it through this day?" You know? (laughs) Uh, and that's sad that we're at that ca- that, that place. But that doesn't mean we have to stay there, right?
[24:19] Speaker 3: Uh, part of what we're doing in a physical body is evolving. You know? It l- what is your purpose with your show? To help people evolve, to help us learn, to help us grow. And that's what our purpose for taking a body and being here, is evolution. So every step you take, know that you're evolving to becoming the being that you want to become, or improving the being who you are, or, you know, however you're seeing it. But there's an evolution of consciousness. And so to be really in touch with how do you hang on to... What are you doing here? You're not here to live in fear.
[24:59] Speaker 2: No. No.
[24:59] Speaker 3: You're here to learn how to overcome fear.
[25:01] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[25:02] Speaker 3: You're here to become a stronger, more confident, more secure being that can reach for the stars and actually hold onto the light and illuminate a, a bright light that helps other people.
[25:15] Speaker 2: Absolutely. Now, do you... Uh, you have a website, so give them that website again, please.
[25:21] Speaker 3: Okay. It's www.mysticsecre- mysticsecrets.co- net (laughs) .
[25:27] Speaker 2: Okay.
[25:27] Speaker 3: Mysticsecrets.net, yes.
[25:29] Speaker 2: Terrific. And your book, again, Stars, Cards & Stones.
[25:33] Speaker 3: Exploring Cosmic Connections between Astrology, Tarot, and Rune Stones.
[25:37] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[25:37] Speaker 3: And, yeah.
[25:38] Speaker 2: And available where?
[25:40] Speaker 3: Well, uh, it's available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, and any of your favorite bookstores should be able to get it for you. And, uh, it's in physical stores. Um, some of them have it, and some people have to order it if that's what they want to do through a physical store. And I love brick and mortar stores because it gives, uh, it gives flavor and texture to our reality to, uh, be able to walk into a bookstore.
[26:09] Speaker 3: I-
[26:09] Speaker 2: And it's human to human for a change.
[26:11] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[26:11] Speaker 2: I'm tired of, you know, human to, to mechanical, you know? (laughs)
[26:15] Speaker 3: When things come through the mail, you know, it's different than if you can actually, like, just, you know... Wow, look at all these books.
[26:22] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[26:22] Speaker 3: Look at all these rune stones. Look at these tarot cards.
[26:25] Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely. So anyway, uh, we're gonna have to have you come back again, because we've got a-

[33:24] Speaker 9: No one ever said it would be easy. There'll be days like that, my daddy used to say. But somehow there was comfort in the knowing that things ain't always gonna go your way.
[33:46] Speaker 2: Boy, Lacy J. Dalton hit it right on the head. We never know what's gonna happen. And how do we get out of such, certain situations and get into where we need to go? You know, to go from... How about this one? To go from crack addict and critical cancer patient, oh, and dead broke, to inner billionaire. Is it possible? Well, you bet. She did, and that's Debbie Dobyns, prosperity consciousness speaker and leader, uh, with an awe-inspiring story. That's why Debbie wrote Your Inner Billionaire: A Sacred Doorway to Soul-Aligned Wealth. This is fascinating. Nice to have you with us, Debbie.
[34:31] Speaker 10: Hi, Mary Jane. It's so... It's just an absolute pleasure to be here. I'm so thrilled to, um, share with you and with your audience. So I am excited.
[34:41] Speaker 2: Well, me too, because... Give me a definition of inner billionaire. I mean, I, I, I know what outer billionaire is (laughs) , but I don't know about-
[34:49] Speaker 10: Right.
[34:49] Speaker 2: ... what inner billionaire is.
[34:52] Speaker 10: An inner billionaire is just that sense of abundance that we all inherently have, which we just don't realize because we've given ourselves all these beautiful stories that push away any kind of good or abundance in our lives. So it would be the freedom to have the life that you want, abundance in relationships, abundance in wealth and money, abundance in, um, freedom to go and live wherever you want, the abundance to find a job that you want. The fact of the matter is, is that we have so many stories that we told ourselves over the years, and I used to teach money is a mindset. It's a frequency. It's not a mindset, it's a frequency, and it's in your body. So our inner billionaire is inside of us, and she's just waiting to get out.
[35:37] Speaker 2: Okay. So how did you get to such a bad place? What happened to you?
[35:42] Speaker 10: Hmm.Um, well, I've had a lot of different things happen in my life and the real... E- eight years ago, I was diagnosed with rectal cancer, and I didn't, um, I- I couldn't work and I didn't have any medical insurance, and so I found myself flat broke. Um, I had a couple of other experiences that I talk about in the book, but that really was the one... was the defining moment that everything that I knew had been stripped away and I'd been teety... teaching abundance for 30+ years and very much from a manifestation, sort of masculine construct of you just think it, you believe it, you create it kind of thing. And what I noticed, that that wasn't really working for people because their mindsets were being controlled by the overriding, um, chemicals that they were addicted to in their body, which is where your feelings are located.
[36:33] Speaker 10: And so, when I began to really understand and study sound vibrations and energy and frequencies, it was so much clearer to me that the idea of creating what it is that we say we desire was so much easier because shifting your frequency in your body, that electromagnetic energy, and I've spent a lot of time studying quantum physics, that that was the actual key that I'd been missing my whole life. Because I used to say I'm the best man for the job because I could do it all. I literally, like most women, I drove hard and I was powerful and I could control the working environment, and unfortunately, all of that was controlling me because I was so stressed out. And what I found now is that women are in that same modality because they think they wanna do it all. The fact is is they aren't leaving any space for themselves to be congruent with who they truly are and that inner billionaire.
[37:35] Speaker 2: So, how did you become a crack addict? It sounds like you- you know where you were going, you seemed very s- intelligent. Uh, you- you worked hard, you kept going forward, and then you became a crack addict? Eh, why?
[37:49] Speaker 10: Yeah. That was, uh, that was actually, you know, several decades ago and the funniest story about that is I was working with and living with a attorney who was a bloodstock agent who went to the bank one day and he came back with this little package and said, "Here, let's try this." It happened to be cocaine and then, you know, a multiplicity of things happened after that which... that was an addictive period in my life. And the fact is is that that's not the main ingredient of what happened for me. It just happens to be a footnote, really, in my entire life, which was born out of spirituality and really looking at what is our owner's manual? What makes us tick as human beings? And after that- that process, then I also went to some spiritual, um, uh... what do you wanna call them? Um... oh, financial freedom classes.
[38:50] Speaker 10: And I was sitting there because one of the- the bigger stories besides the cancer was for my young 20s, I decided that I wasn't going to pay pr- um, income taxes-
[39:02] Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
[39:02] Speaker 10: ... because I really didn't believe that the government was good stewards with my money because I was, um... I'm a child of the 60s. I'm a, I'm a leftover hippie.
[39:10] Speaker 2: (laughs)
[39:11] Speaker 10: And so I just thought that that was the way to go. Well, unfortunately, that catches up with you eventually and one day I woke up and I had a, almost a half a million dollar tax lien with the IRS with all the penalties-
[39:24] Speaker 2: Holy smokes.
[39:25] Speaker 10: ... and interests and things like that.
[39:25] Speaker 2: Really? Wow.
[39:25] Speaker 10: And, yeah. And, um, it was the beginning of my journey on this abundance journey that I just sat in this class and I thought, "Well, I could cure myself of cancer, um, but I can't cure myself of this tax lien."
[39:39] Speaker 2: Huh.
[39:39] Speaker 10: And there were people in there saying, you know, they had a $5,000 credit card or, you know, any number of different things that will show up when people begin on a financial journey, and I was thinking that I was special. Somehow my situation was special and that there was somehow, I couldn't overcome it. And I had a really beautiful spiritual teacher and she didn't say these words to me, but this is what I heard, was, "Basically, get over yourself."
[40:05] Speaker 2: (laughs)
[40:05] Speaker 10: "Your story is not important," because that's what I teach, is that our stories are what keep us stuck and as long as you buy into the story, then you will continue to repeat whatever the pattern is that the story says.
[40:18] Speaker 2: Okay, so what does prosperity mean to you?
[40:23] Speaker 10: Prosperity, to me, is basically abundance in all of the things that we do in our life, but more importantly, when I boil it down, no matter what somebody comes to me and they think they want, whether it be a million dollars, a billion dollars, travel around the world, the Ferrari, it's all drilled down to freedom.
[40:43] Speaker 2: Okay.
[40:43] Speaker 10: So for me, prosperity is freedom, because that's what I know that everybody really, truly wants and freedom comes in so many different packages. And they come to me to learn how to make more money, which I'm very good about, um... I can, um, tell you how to do all of that because I understand money and e- economics and how money works, but more importantly, if you don't have that sense of freedom and that sense that you can create whatever life that you want, because money is just a symbol-
[41:16] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[41:16] Speaker 10: ... of energy.
[41:17] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[41:17] Speaker 10: It doesn't mean that you need to have more of it. As a matter of fact, m- what I find is that when people begin to set an intention that they wanna feel a certain way, whatever that looks like, or have a specific home in a specific neighborhood, it's the feelings that are actually creating that. And I've seen people receive houses as gifts. I've seen people win cars in lotteries. It's really so fascinating because-When we stop micromanning the u- micromanaging the universe and saying, "This is how it has to be, and I need to have this in order to get it," you open up to possibility and potentiality in ways that you cannot even imagine or dream of because we aren't micromanaging the universe anymore. We're not in charge. We're just here playing on this, um, spinning ball that's the third rock from the sun. And I love it, because it's really, really a fun place to be if we decide that that's how we wanna look at it.
[42:13] Speaker 2: Why is it that we always think that prosperity means things, stuff?
[42:18] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[42:19] Speaker 2: You know?
[42:19] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[42:19] Speaker 2: And I always look- look at it this way. (laughs) You can't take it with you. I mean-
[42:23] Speaker 10: Exactly.
[42:23] Speaker 2: ... once you're gone, you're gone. Then somebody else is gonna take that stuff. Uh-
[42:28] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[42:28] Speaker 2: ... so doesn't the- the prosperity start from the inside?
[42:33] Speaker 10: Oh, absolutely, 100%. It i- it only starts from the inside. Everything about when people push it away is from the inside. It's all about the stories that we've created, and that's the first thing that I do in my book is walk people through uncovering their money story, because there are as many different types of money stories as there are DNA. And if you begin to look at what is preventing you from having what prosperity looks like for you... Because I ha- I watched a documentary probably a couple of weeks ago on Justin Bieber.
[43:07] Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
[43:07] Speaker 10: And the- the announcer said, "Well, he's made, uh, anywhere between a half a billion and a billion dollars, and yet he's broke." Right? So whatever broke means to Justin Bieber.
[43:18] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[43:18] Speaker 10: But he also... You could hear in this story, he was one of the most unhappy people that can- you could ever imagine, and at the same time, I've been to third world countries where people live in, uh, basically sh- uh, shacks, huts, with no floors, and they're- they're so happy.
[43:38] Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
[43:39] Speaker 10: Happiness doesn't come from the amount of stuff, as you said-
[43:42] Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
[43:42] Speaker 10: ... that we have.
[43:43] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[43:43] Speaker 10: It's really... We live in a consumer society, and so of course, we've all got this, um, messaging that if you have this or you have that, then you're gonna be successful. When the truth of the reality is, and now we have influencers sharing with, you know, young people that same messaging, if we begin to recognize that our happiness is an inside job... And I've written two chapters in my book on gratitude, because that really is the most important thing to grasp. Grow where you're planted. Wherever you are, be immensely grateful for that, and then more will show up. And it's not something that's very Pollyanna to me. Some people think it is. I have rose-colored glasses on. And it's not that I have rose-colored glasses. I just have practiced this for so long that it really is so important to understand that our gratitude is what blooms more good in our life.
[44:42] Speaker 10: And so-
[44:43] Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know what?
[44:44] Speaker 10: Go ahead.
[44:44] Speaker 2: I- I- I really... I- I agree with you 100%. I really do. Uh, but how... We're bombarded with, uh, media, uh-
[44:53] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[44:54] Speaker 2: ... internet, television-
[44:55] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[44:55] Speaker 2: ... radio, print-
[44:57] Speaker 10: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm
[44:57] Speaker 2: ... magazines, yeah, all that kind of stuff, that says, "This is what you have to do."
[45:01] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[45:01] Speaker 2: "This is what you should be. This is what you should have." And how do you fight that and say, "You know what? The heck with you. I don't need that."?
[45:09] Speaker 10: Well, my recommendation is, and on... You know, I've said this on multiple times on social media myself, even though I'm- I'm on social media for people to watch me on social media, turn off your social media.
[45:21] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[45:21] Speaker 10: Turn off your television. Because honestly, you're not going to be able to do it if you continue down those rabbit holes.
[45:29] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[45:30] Speaker 10: And I- as a matter of fact, I was having a conversation with another, um, woman earlier today, that we were having this discussion that... I'm a Baby Boomer, she was a Baby Boomer, and we were raised in this environment where we didn't have all of this connection to the internet and to social media.
[45:46] Speaker 2: It was a better time.
[45:48] Speaker 10: Well, you know, we- we look at it like that sometimes.
[45:51] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[45:51] Speaker 10: And yet, we didn't have this ability to compare ourselves, although we still as human beings do that. The thing is, that I find so fascinating, and Marie Forleo calls it compareschlager. We're all drinking this compareschlager, and what we're doing is we're comparing our insides with somebody else's outside, when the reality is we have no idea who is doing what on their insides. Because I can assure you, after coaching many, many, many hundreds of women over a lifetime, thousands probably at this point, that they all have, no matter how good they look on the outside, they have this insecurity that they are not good enough.
[46:33] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[46:34] Speaker 10: And that is where the work begins, is to begin to recognize that we are these unique individual expressions of the one consciousness, that we're all doing the best that we can, and that if we begin to love ourselves more than we love anything else, we will begin to blossom and bloom going forward. And I don't mean that in an egotistical way. I mean that in a respectful way, that we are here doing the best that we can. And is there room for improvement? Probably for everybody, yes. But the fact is is you can't beat yourself up and you can't blame yourself for all of the mistakes that you've ever made in your life. All you can do is look at how I'm gonna be the best version of me today, be grateful for exactly where I am, and then give up my time, talent, and treasures. Not over-give, but give from a place of overflow, and life is just magical at that point.
[47:27] Speaker 2: Yeah, but women do that all the time, Debbie. We wanna be perfect at everything. Perfect wife, perfect mother, perfect, uh-
[47:35] Speaker 10: Yep.
[47:35] Speaker 2: ... career, perfect, perfect. And you know what? Perfect... Nobody's perfect. Well, I shouldn't say that.
[47:41] Speaker 10: No, there- there's-
[47:41] Speaker 2: One person was perfect, and look what happened to him.
[47:44] Speaker 10: Well, yeah, exactly. (laughs) There's no such thing as perfection. That's the messaging. And that's probably, um, as I was talking with this other individual as well, that women have got a really bad message-
[47:56] Speaker 2: Yes.
[47:56] Speaker 10: ... for a very long time.
[47:57] Speaker 2: Yes.
[47:57] Speaker 10: For thousands and thousands of years. Used to be a matriarchal society, and then it wasn't. And the fact is, is that until we all begin to support each other, and this is really important for women as well, is that we begin to support each other and know that we can empower one another through this feminine energy, because there are really two... There are two energies, the yin and the yang. One is the masculine, one is the feminine. And we have bought into a masculine construct as women that says push and drive and be analytical instead of tapping into a real true energy, which frankly men, um, need to balance as well, but the communication and the connection and the intuition.
[48:42] Speaker 10: And it's not only been until probably the last ten years or so that I've seen women, uh, in C-suite offices actually begin to speak to intuition and communication-
[48:54] Speaker 2: That's right.
[48:55] Speaker 10: ... and connection. Because really that truly is the energy that we need to balance on the planet so that we can begin to feel that sense of confidence in ourselves that we are okay. Because literally confidence isn't just about being confident and barreling through something, it's feeling inside that we are okay, that we are comfortable in our own skin, and that we make a difference just because we exist.
[49:23] Speaker 2: There are four things that you said that really resonate with, with, uh, what I believe and, and I think others have to believe.
[49:30] Speaker 10: Mm-hmm.
[49:30] Speaker 2: And you say you don't have to become prosperous, you are prosperous. You don't have to-
[49:34] Speaker 10: Yes.
[49:34] Speaker 2: ... make yourself worthy, you are worthy.
[49:36] Speaker 10: Right.
[49:36] Speaker 2: You don't have to force abundance, you allow it. And you don't have to create wealth, you express it. All of those are with you.
[49:45] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[49:45] Speaker 2: It starts with-
[49:46] Speaker 10: Absolutely.
[49:46] Speaker 2: ... you, right?
[49:47] Speaker 10: Yeah. Absolutely. It starts with us, and that's why it's so important for us to take, um, radical responsibility for ourselves knowing that we are the arbiters of our destiny. Not that there's a destiny laid out for us, but we are a choice to make the decisions that will empower us to move forward, to be who we truly authentically are. That's another thing that women have been, um, sort of beaten down around, is that we're not authentic, because we have been told so many different ways, through media especially, you know, that if you don't wear the right makeup or you don't wear the right clothes or you don't sit the right way or you don't speak in a certain way, then therefore you are not enough.
[50:34] Speaker 2: That's right.
[50:35] Speaker 10: And when you are bombarded with those messages, then unfortunately you hear it enough times, you begin to believe it. I understand that because I have felt that way in my own life. When somebody says the same thing over and over, you begin to believe it. I used to have a, um, an attorney who was a boss years and years ago when I was in my 20s and was just a, you know, big burly guy, and he would say, he would say this to me over and over, "You don't think." And oh my gosh, I'm the last person that that applies to, but he said it so many times to me that-
[51:06] Speaker 2: You believed it.
[51:07] Speaker 10: ... at some level I began to believe it.
[51:08] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[51:09] Speaker 10: And so it took a lot of time and a lot of self-reflection for me not to believe that anymore. But the fact is, is that women, we have been told a lie for so many generations that now, because it is also generational, it isn't just in our own lifetime that these things are happening. And I also believe that there is a shift going on on the planet, and when you have shift and change, things don't always look pretty. So I know that things are about to, um, crack open here, because I've been waiting 70 years.
[51:42] Speaker 2: (laughs) .
[51:42] Speaker 10: I just turned 70 last week. I have been waiting seven-
[51:44] Speaker 2: I got you beat. I got you beat. Uh, I'll be... I'm 78, so...
[51:48] Speaker 10: Oh my gosh.
[51:49] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[51:49] Speaker 10: Well, you are, you are all over it for, you know- (laughs)
[51:52] Speaker 2: Well, you know, it, it... We need to have something more in our life than just things and people telling us what to do and how to do it and when to do it.
[52:01] Speaker 10: Absolutely.
[52:01] Speaker 2: And... And I-
[52:02] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[52:02] Speaker 2: ... love it because your teaching is grounded in joy and soul connection. How, how do we...
[52:07] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[52:07] Speaker 2: You know, uh, we don't, we don't talk about the soul, but the soul is part of us. It is, it is the energy-
[52:13] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[52:13] Speaker 2: ... in us. And, and-
[52:14] Speaker 10: Mm-hmm.
[52:15] Speaker 2: ... w- you know, I always say... People always say, "Well, you don't know what's gonna happen after." I say, "Yes, I do." Uh, you understand we are all made of energy. Energy cannot-
[52:23] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[52:23] Speaker 2: ... be created or destroyed. It can change form, but it doesn't go away.
[52:26] Speaker 10: Yeah. Yeah.
[52:27] Speaker 2: So why would I not then go on perhaps in another form, another idea, what, what... I don't care.
[52:34] Speaker 10: Right.
[52:34] Speaker 2: As long as I know that I go on, right?
[52:36] Speaker 10: Yeah. Absolutely. No, I, I mean, I, I, I love the spirituality and the science because I've always f- I've be-... I was woo-woo before woo-woo was cool about 40 years ago.
[52:47] Speaker 2: Yeah. (laughs)
[52:48] Speaker 10: But I really truly understand this whole concept of quantum physics and to relate it to spirituality because they're really just a s- they're two sides of the same coin.
[52:59] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[52:59] Speaker 10: And if you really begin to understand quantum physics, you're right, it's pure energy and it takes many forms and it's, you know, that whole observer effect. So what am I gonna observe in this 3D world, number one, but then what am I gonna observe when I'm something else, when I make my transition? I really believe as an eternal being, this unique expression of this oneness, because really truly, it is just consciousness.
[53:26] Speaker 2: Yeah, it is.
[53:26] Speaker 10: And, uh, I love the idea, um, I love, uh, there's a guy named Steven Greer that talks about ETs and UFOs and things like that, but more importantly, he talks about consciousness. Because consciousness... And if, if people are listening to this, know that you heard it here, if you didn't hear it before now, is that that is the place that we are evolving to on this 3D planet, is consciousness.... so that we recognize that our consciousness is actually creating whatever it is that we see with our eyes. What we, what we call reality is just something that we've constructed through our consciousness. So because you can construct your life of joy and happiness and fulfillment, you can create it from disease and upset and sadness. So the fact is, is you're always a choice, and I choose happiness.
[54:20] Speaker 2: And you know what? I'm tired of everybody telling you what to do or how to do it, when to do it, how come you didn't do it. Uh, come on.
[54:28] Speaker 10: No. Yes.
[54:28] Speaker 2: Uh, i- it's like, uh, I have a saying that I've used on the air s- so many times, and it's true. You should've been here, you should've done this, you should've gone here. You could have a really should-y day. You know what I mean?
[54:38] Speaker 10: (laughs) Exactly. Don't should on yourself.
[54:41] Speaker 2: That's right. (laughs)
[54:42] Speaker 10: (laughs)
[54:42] Speaker 2: It's just enough already. Uh, but w- we're ... And women are the worst. The guilt, uh, the guilt is with us more than anyone else.
[54:51] Speaker 10: Yes.
[54:51] Speaker 2: Men don't feel this way. Not ... Well, I'm not saying all-
[54:53] Speaker 10: Yes.
[54:53] Speaker 2: ... but-
[54:54] Speaker 10: Yes.
[54:54] Speaker 2: ... the majority don't. Uh, they-
[54:56] Speaker 10: Yes.
[54:56] Speaker 2: ... they, they have a task. They get in there, they do their task, and they find a solution, hopefully, and then that's it.
[55:02] Speaker 10: Yes.
[55:02] Speaker 2: With us-
[55:03] Speaker 10: Mm-hmm.
[55:03] Speaker 2: ... we're still looking for the answers all the time.
[55:07] Speaker 10: Yeah. I think it's ... Honestly, I really truly feel that we are shifting that.
[55:12] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[55:12] Speaker 10: And that there is more of this feminine energy that is a power, that is so incredible, that is not being tapped into completely. Not that it's not being tapped into at all, but it's not being tapped into completely, because when I speak of feminine and masculine energy, I'm talking about masculine is the doing this and the driving and the analyzing and the figuring out. Feminine energy is about the listening to your intuition, birthing ideas, because we truly are the birthing species. We are birthing into existence amazing things.
[55:52] Speaker 10: Unfortunately, we have been stifled for over 2,000 years-
[55:57] Speaker 2: Yes.
[55:57] Speaker 10: ... into believing that we are whatever, the second, the, the right hand, the left hand, whatever, the second-class citizen, the, um, att- appendage, um, you know, we came out of the rib.
[56:10] Speaker 2: I hate those terms.
[56:11] Speaker 10: Um, and the whole ... Right, I know. (laughs) It's like ... But it's, that's the messaging that we've received. And then, we get other women now and little influencers telling us that if we don't wear the right makeup-
[56:23] Speaker 2: Yeah. (laughs)
[56:23] Speaker 10: ... if we don't stand the right way, that we are ... we're not okay. And so, all of that conversation has to be shifted, it has to be addressed, and it has to be brought to the light that that is not who we are. We are really powerful beings, especially when we balance our masculine, which we can use to drive and do-
[56:45] Speaker 2: Absolutely.
[56:45] Speaker 10: ... with our feminine, which is creative and intuitive and knows exactly what we're supposed to be doing. And that is where the inner billionaire is. She's inside. She's waiting to get out, and it's ... The only thing that's keeping her stuck is our resistance and our money stories.
[57:05] Speaker 2: Absolutely. And you know (laughs) , and that rings, brings up a good thing, 'cause I mean, we're both boomers. Um-
[57:10] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[57:10] Speaker 2: ... and, and I remember, you know, we, they used to take the bras and say I'm gonna burn my bra.
[57:14] Speaker 10: Wouldn't it?
[57:14] Speaker 2: Well, I said, "No, no, no, I need my bra."
[57:16] Speaker 10: I need my bra. (laughs)
[57:16] Speaker 2: Um, uh, but just, you know, but that doesn't mean I don't, I don't have to be a, a, a wimp. I gotta be a strong-
[57:22] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[57:22] Speaker 2: ... person. It doesn't ... I don't need-
[57:23] Speaker 10: That's right.
[57:23] Speaker 2: ... a bra to ... Or without the bra (laughs) to be strong.
[57:26] Speaker 10: Yeah. Yeah. And, and I've watched that throughout my lifetime, of we've had to march and protest-
[57:33] Speaker 2: Ugh.
[57:33] Speaker 10: ... and all of those things, but you think about it, that as well, that is a masculine energy.
[57:39] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[57:39] Speaker 10: All of that resistance, instead of just owning our power.
[57:45] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[57:45] Speaker 10: And that is what is one of the most incredible things that I believe I've been called to do, um, on this planet, is just to remind women that that power is already within you.
[57:57] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[57:58] Speaker 10: And if we let go of all of this fear that has been imprinted upon us, that we will be absolutely soaring.
[58:06] Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, to be honest with you, if I would've followed, uh, what my mother wanted, which, that's a different generation, I understand that-
[58:14] Speaker 10: Right.
[58:14] Speaker 2: ... I would've been, uh, married, be a teacher, and have two and a half kids.
[58:17] Speaker 10: That's exactly right. I'm, I didn't do that either. (laughs)
[58:21] Speaker 2: (laughs) And, and I just ... Well, and I, I found the right man, because, uh-
[58:26] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[58:26] Speaker 2: ... he was the kind of man who said, "You do what you wanna do, and do what you need to do."
[58:30] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[58:30] Speaker 2: And he stu-
[58:31] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[58:31] Speaker 2: He was never in my way. Never in my way.
[58:33] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[58:33] Speaker 2: Uh, but that's hard to find s- Uh, I didn't look for it. It found me. Which is good.
[58:38] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[58:38] Speaker 2: Uh, but how do you tell young women, "Don't kowtow. You don't need to, to ..." I hate when they say, "Oh, well, he'll change," or, "I'll change him after we're married." Are you kidding? If you don't like the person before, what makes you think you're gonna like them after?
[58:54] Speaker 10: Well, you know, um, the, the statistics though now is, are, is bearing out that women are not getting married as much as they have in the past.
[59:03] Speaker 2: That's true.
[59:04] Speaker 10: The Gen Zs are like, "We don't need all of that." So I'm really hopeful with this, m- this most recent generation, because women are not having children or having children later.
[59:16] Speaker 2: Debbie-
[59:17] Speaker 10: They're not getting married.
[59:18] Speaker 2: ... Debbie, I am so sorry.
[59:19] Speaker 10: Yeah.
[59:19] Speaker 2: We got so into it, we ran out of time. Only got 30 seconds here.
[59:22] Speaker 10: Oh.
[59:22] Speaker 2: Website. Do you have a website?
[59:24] Speaker 10: Uh, thedebbiedobbins.com.
[59:27] Speaker 2: Fabulous, and the Inner Billionaire, Your Inner Billionaire, and I hope you come back and visit again, okay?
[59:33] Speaker 10: Absolutely. Thank you so much. You have a good day.
[59:35] Speaker 2: You too. In the meantime, fortune favors the bold, folks. You better be bold. In the meantime, live simply, laugh often, love deeply, and above all else, you dare to dream.
