Guest, Mikki St Germain
Coach Mikki is a championship-winning football coach, author, and transformational speaker who empowers people to build unshakable belief and win the inner game first. Known for breaking barriers and building champions on and off the field, she inspires audiences to start strong, finish strong, and dominate everything in between.
"The Most Courageous Thing You Can Do.. Is Be Yourself!" – Coach Mikki
My purpose has always been rooted in heart, hustle, and hope.
I grew up learning from my dad (#63 on the field) a man who taught me that the game of football isn’t just about plays or scoreboards; it’s about people! He showed me the value of hard work, discipline, and integrity long before I ever stepped on a field. Those lessons became the foundation for how I coach, how I lead, and how I live.
When I started coaching, I quickly realized my calling wasn’t just to teach the game it was to reach the kids who felt left behind. The ones who didn’t always start, who didn’t always get noticed, but who had fire in their hearts and just needed someone to believe in them. I see them because I’ve been there. I know what it feels like to fight for a spot, to be underestimated, and to rise anyway. That’s why I do what I do.
Because every player , and every person deserves a coach who sees their potential before they see it themselves.
My purpose is to help people discover that strength within them, to show them that the same grit, focus, and heart it takes to win on the field can transform their lives off it. Whether it’s an athlete, a business professional, or someone simply trying to find their next step, I help them build confidence, resilience, and belief that they can still win, no matter the score.
This is more than football to me. It’s about building character, creating leaders, and giving hope to those who once felt left behind. That’s my purpose, and it’s my honor to live it every single day.
"I believe that everyone deserves a comeback story. That belief comes from my own journey of starting over, pushing through challenges, and proving that it’s never too late to win your game." – Mikki St. Germain

Guest, Laura Chang
Laura Chang, a native of Wisconsin, was born into a musical family and began her violin studies shortly after her fourth birthday. Laura received her early training with Mark Bjork (University of Minnesota), and continued her studies with Klara Fenyo Bahcall (University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh) and Lewis Rosove (Milwaukee Symphony).
Ms. Chang earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in violin performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music, under the tutelage of Martin Beaver and Pamela Frank, for whom she was a graduate assistant. While at Peabody, Laura performed in master classes with the Tokyo String Quartet, Paul Kantor, Sidney Harth, and Lorand Fenyves, and continued her education as a fellow at the Banff Centre.
Ms. Chang is an avid chamber and orchestral musician whose performances have taken her to venues across the US, Central America, Canada, and Europe. While a resident of Washington, DC, she was a member of the National Philharmonic, the Maryland Symphony, the South Florida Symphony, and frequently performed as an extra with the major orchestras in the Baltimore/Washington metro area. More recently, she performed with the Colorado Symphony and the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. In 2020, Laura and her family relocated to Albuquerque, where she is the Principal Violist with the New Mexico Philharmonic, Co-Principal violist in Santa Fe Pro Musica, and a first violinist in the Santa Fe Symphony. Laura also performs regularly with the Santa Fe Opera, Chatter, and the Taos Chamber Music Group.
Laura studied violin pedagogy with Rebecca Henry at Peabody Conservatory, and received her Suzuki training with Ronda Cole. She is an active member of AFM, ASTA, and SAA.
Life Changes Show
Come and join the conversation about what's going on and what we can do together about it, with it, and for it. We have the choice; we have the power. We can do magic if we just believe!
A show about the changes going on in us, to us, around us, and because of us. Therefore, it's technically a show about "Everything," only with a how to make it better, see it better, be better.
In the show, there is talk about, and with, people who have either been through major changes, are helping others with major changes, or people who are changing the world for the better in a major way.
The show is a one-hour talk show format with a monologue by the host, a 30-minute interview with a guest of note, capped by a "Producer's Wrap" segment, in which Filippo and Co-Host Mark Laisure, and sometimes surprise guests, bring it all home for the listeners in a sometimes humorous and sometimes touching, but always entertaining conversation.
