Apple Pie Playground with Valerie

We're coming into a new hope!

Light at the end of the tunnel may look different for each of us, but we can see it.  Is it disclosure or peace-building or inner child optimism?  Let's talk

Disclosure, Silver Linings, and the Divine Child at the Doorway to a New Earth

Returning to the Playground Within

In this episode of Apple Pie Playground, host Valerie welcomes listeners back to the space of remembering the divine child within. She thanks BBS Radio and frames the program as a Sunday afternoon gathering for healing, authenticity, and inner-child awareness. Valerie opens by acknowledging that many people may feel grumpy, irritated, or emotionally squeezed, suggesting that old hurts, traumas, and irritations are being released energetically. Her first message is simple and direct: self-care is essential.

The Winds of Change and the Need for Gentle Self-Care

Valerie describes the current moment as one of intense change, where people are being asked to stop resisting what no longer serves them. She encourages listeners to be gentle with themselves when they feel like they are failing, moving too slowly, or unable to keep up. She suggests that the world needs people who can anchor divine light, peace, strength, and groundedness. Even quiet, private acts of staying centered are presented as meaningful contributions to humanity.

Disclosure Day and the Conversations Humanity Needs

Valerie then turns to the movie Disclosure Day, which she says she previewed the previous week and has now seen. She recommends the film but avoids revealing the plot. She says the movie is full of imagery, symbolism, and layers that are likely to spark reflection and conversation. In Valerie’s view, humanity may need these conversations because they contribute to the larger disclosure experience. She suggests that people’s reactions, feelings, and discussions create a kind of collective imprint that may influence how non-terrestrial disclosure unfolds.

A Dramatic White House Event and Symbolic Alignment

Without going deeply into details, Valerie mentions a dramatic event connected to the White House and a UFC 250 fight, describing it as highly symbolic and connected to a broader energetic power shift. She says it appears to align with a kind of spell reversal and a series of symbolic events unfolding over time. Valerie encourages listeners to research the event for themselves, pay attention to what is being revealed, and especially notice the opening scene of Disclosure Day, which she says has an interesting alignment with the current event.

Roswell, the UFO Museum, and a Personal Disclosure Moment

Valerie shares a personal story from a family trip to Roswell, New Mexico, where she visited the International UFO Museum and Research Center. She describes walking through the museum with souvenirs in hand when an older man approached her and repeatedly said, “You believe,” and “You know the truth.” He gave her a lapel pin, and to her own surprise she answered, “I do know.” Valerie says she still remembers the encounter clearly and considers it her own disclosure experience, even though she does not fully understand what the man believed she knew.

Disclosure as the Bridge From Darkness to Light

Valerie broadens the Roswell story into a reflection on disclosure itself. She suggests that non-terrestrial disclosure may eventually reveal a fuller picture of the human experience, including things people may know subconsciously without realizing they know them. She asks whether disclosure and truth-telling may be necessary for ascension, serving as a bridge between a dark world and the light. For Valerie, revelation is not just about outside information; it is also about healing what has been hidden inside the collective and individual human heart.

Silent Struggles and the Promise That Life Will Stop Getting Harder

Valerie shifts into a compassionate message for listeners who may be struggling with uncertainty, family responsibilities, health concerns, relationships, mental health, finances, or the search for their place in the world. She asks listeners to sit with her and hear that life will soon stop getting harder. She encourages small practices of peace: a few minutes with coffee or tea, a few moments of stillness before work, gratitude before bed, self-care, or a daydream allowed to unfold. She presents love as the light at the end of the tunnel and reminds listeners not to give up on themselves.

Ancient Souls, Star Seeds, and the Mission of Light

Valerie delivers an expansive spiritual encouragement, telling listeners that the source of creation designed their spirits for superior things. She says humanity stands at the doorway to a new Earth, and that listeners are part of a mission to turn the cosmos from dark to light. She names many identities and archetypes, including ancient souls, galactic guardians, Jedis, angels, mermaids, Martians, creator races, sacred bloodlines, higher-dimensional beings, trueborn Terrans, lightworkers, and star seeds. Her message is that those present now are “the ones we have been waiting for.”

Silver Linings and the Wisdom of the Inner Child

The final major section is an expressive play exercise about finding the silver lining in difficult situations. Valerie explains that children naturally have cognitive flexibility because they are less attached to rigid outcomes, expectations, and past-driven thinking. As people grow up, she says, they often lose resilience, optimism, adaptability, and curiosity as their brains become trained to predict, control, and judge experiences. The inner child, by contrast, can help people return to curiosity, flexibility, and openness.

A Four-Box Exercise for Healing and Reappraisal

Valerie guides listeners through a four-part exercise. In the first box, they list three things that give their lives positive meaning. In the second, they recall a time when one of those things was threatened. In the third, they identify the silver linings that came from that disappointment or difficult situation. In the fourth, they ask how their inner child might have responded to the same challenge. The purpose is to practice cognitive reappraisal, loosen rigid expectations, and recover the ability to find hope, curiosity, and light in cloudy moments.

Heading Home With Hope

Valerie closes by connecting the silver-lining exercise to disclosure and the unfolding new Earth experience. She thanks listeners for reflecting, expressing themselves, and spending time on the playground. She also thanks BBS Radio and reminds the audience to return the following Sunday at 1 p.m. Central Time. The closing message is warm and restorative: reflection is medicine for the soul, and sharing insight helps heal the child within everyone.

Welcome to Apple Pie Playground, where we serve up slices of healing for the heart.
Stay tuned for a journey of transformation back to the debying of your child.
Can you come out and play today?
Welcome everybody to Apple Pie Playground.
This is where we remember the divine child within that is our authentic selves here on
Sunday afternoons.
I'm so glad you're here with me.
I'm your host Valerie and shout out to BBS radio.
Thank you so much BBS for being on the playground with us.
We love you BBS.
You know, the winds of change are wailing friends, aren't they?
And I have to tell you, if we are grumpy this week or irritated a little more than usual,
we are not alone.
And from what I understand.
We are being squeezed energetically to release a lot of old irritations and hurts and traumas
that are keeping us bogged down, that are weighing our vibrations down.
So I have to tell you, self care is key this week, friends.
Self care is key.
And we rather feel beautiful flow through our bodies of harmonic resonance vibing through
us.
You know, wouldn't that feel so much better, peaceful and calm and resilient?
It's sort of like a daydream, right?
That somehow we just keep, we keep waking up from, don't we?
But you know, it's knowing that we are meant to be right here, right now, moving through
what we're going through for the purpose of being in the mix and getting to the other
side of this thing called life that we're creating together.
Sort of like time travelers maybe or lovers of time travelers, you know, we have to love
where we are and you know, what we are and how we are.
And so we let go, right?
And we stop resisting what no longer serves us.
And we learn to master readiness for what comes next, right?
We resist the perversions of promises about how things are meant to be.
And we maybe we hold our tongue in the patronizing of our better judgment.
That's a big one for me this week.
And we're gentle in what feels like failure, you know, to keep up or go faster or do better
or no more, right?
And this week especially, friends, it's kind of an out she week a little bit, right?
Right here at the threshold.
It's always at the threshold.
We know good things are coming because we just feel so darn bad sometimes, right?
So strange how it works that way, you know, so all I can say is can I get an amen?
Because, you know, that's how we feel sometimes.
But for those of us who have found the peace of mind and strength of spirit that keeps us
balanced and assured and grounded.
The world needs every bit of that anchoring right now, every single bit.
All of us who can, let's anchor in divine light right now quietly and gently and privately,
right as we travel along singing our song.
And thank you so much for every bit of your good work.
Doing that for humanity.
Keep shining out there, friends.
It matters so, so much.
So I hope you've noticed how I have not mentioned the movie disclosure day yet, right?
We sort of previewed the movie last week together.
And yes, I did go to see it.
And yes, I recommend it.
So get your tickets, right?
And here's the thing.
There's so, so much imagery and so much symbolism and so many layers to the show.
I suspect that you're going to have a lot to think about.
There's going to be a lot of reflection.
I am almost certain and you may have a lot to say about what you've seen.
And that's probably by design, right?
And that's opportunity really for good conversations to come out of this movie.
I might even hazard a guess that we as a humanity need to have these conversations,
right?
All of them, all kinds of them.
We need to be discussing the ideas coming through this movie.
It is rich with suggestion.
I have to tell you, and you can bet that the powers that be are monitoring our interest
and our reactions and our conversations.
Most certainly, we are contributing to our own disclosure experience by how we feel about
the movie and what we have to say, right?
And remember, energy never lies.
It only reveals, right?
Energy is its own disclosure, which means that we'll likely create something of a mass
imprint, right?
We're talking about, you know, digital data, energetic data from our collective reactions
to this movie.
I am quite certain.
And that's going to inform our future.
I'm pretty sure the unfolding of how this is going to play out really in our lives,
this whole idea of non-terrestrial disclosure.
And that being said, the movie was a very emotional, very, very visceral experience
for me.
And I'm going to keep that to myself.
But it may be for you too.
I dare not say more about it, okay?
Because I promised myself I would not touch the plot or the storyline because I don't
want to give anything away, right?
So mums the word for me this week.
I will say the end is really, really good.
I'm just saying, but that's it.
That's all I'm going to, I'm zipping my lip, okay?
That's all I'm going to say.
But okay, I will say one thing.
All right?
Just one, just one more thing.
Today there is something going on at the White House that feels a little dramatic and super
enticing for a certain spectator, right?
Who might be interested.
But in actuality, what is going on today is foundational for the way that our liberties
are unfolding throughout humanity right now.
And that's a mouthful.
And it's going to require your research.
It's just going to require you digging into the events unfolding.
You're just going to have to get in there and take a peek and see what it is you can
find out about events like today's UFC 250 fight, right?
And I didn't know what that was, but it's something of a mixed martial arts kind of event
at the White House.
It is highly symbolic, okay?
It is a highly symbolic event.
It is a touch dome, okay?
Event.
The way it's being explained is fairly complex, but it is falling in alignment with something
of a spell reversal for us, right?
Is how I see it.
It is creating an energetic power shift along our timeline of reality, right?
Dimensionally, all the way through, right?
It's unfolding and it's been unfolding with a series of particular events for some
time now, according to folks who are in the know.
And it truly is going to take those kinds of folks, putting these pieces together for
us as I know, many, many will, many folks will.
They'll be on the lookout for that kind of exposure, right?
More information about what all of that means.
The UFC 250 fight is sort of an end point of a series of very, very symbolic and significant
events that have unfolded over the last year or so.
For our benefit.
And I'm sure it's going to be extraordinary when we can put all of the pieces of this beautiful
puzzle together.
So please look up the event for more insight.
Watch it if you want to.
There are things online now, things online last night that were really super dramatic,
super worth your few minutes of just looking in there to see what you can find on YouTube
and who knows other platforms.
I'm sure TikTok has probably got some stuff super dramatic.
Take a peek and then pay close attention.
Okay.
Play, pay close attention to the way the disclosure day movie begins.
Okay.
Watch that opening scene of the movie.
Okay.
Note what's going on because that is a very, very interesting alignment with this UFC
250 fight.
Okay.
And that's all I'm going to say.
My lips are sealed.
I am not going to say anymore about the movie.
I will not give away anything else.
But that opening is very, very, very timely.
And that's all I'm going to say.
Go see it.
Just go see it.
You'll love it.
Very, very, very timely opening to the show.
You know, I think many of us have had occasion to experience our own kinds of alien disclosures
in our lives.
If we think about it and I have been remembering a particular experience that I had myself
in Roswell, New Mexico, land of enchantment.
I actually am on the fence about sharing this particular experience because, you know, it
is taking on a life of its own in my remembering.
But I just, I can't help myself.
I really want to share as a way to kind of pull in thinking about the movie and about
our experience as new galactic on the scene of what is a gazillion years of a beautiful
cosmic process of life creating itself across universes of universes.
And so New Mexico is a mysterious place.
Probably a lot of you know that.
And Roswell is no less energetic, right?
By virtue of its history, if nothing else, its public history.
And I'm just going to say that if some of you place some of the scenes in the disclosure
day movie with transcripts that you've heard from Q, you're on the right track and there's
more to know isn't there?
There's more to know.
I'm just throwing that out there.
Catch it if you can, right?
Catch it if you can.
We may all of us find ourselves at some time or another thinking back to alien disclosure
experiences in our own lives.
And you know, I've had that too.
And I think the good guys and maybe even some of the bad guys too maybe have been trying
to reveal non-terrestrial life in movies and books and such for quite a while now.
A long time.
Why is the interesting question, right?
Why is the interesting question we can kind of mull over in our minds?
So one summer, a long time ago now, my family took a trip to Roswell, New Mexico.
You know, for much the same reason that most people go to Roswell, right?
To be in the right place at the right time, to witness spooky alien things going on, right?
It's pretty much the idea behind a trip to Roswell, New Mexico.
And then, you know, get a cool t-shirt, which is always something that we want to do, right?
Something to remember the trip by.
And Roswell did not disappoint.
And it's sort of the people that we meet in our life's journey, right, when we think
back that spark our imaginations along the way, right?
And those are the folks dedicated the most to disclosure and their own unique ways, right,
when we think about it.
So while we were there, we went into what is now called the International UFO Museum
and Research Center and Gift Shop, okay?
Big long title.
And that's the official name of the museum there in Roswell.
And I'm going to be honest, okay?
They didn't really have me entirely interested until the very last part of that and gift
shop, okay?
Because I love a good gift shop.
I don't know why.
But after that, they had me, right?
And gift shop kind of sparked my interest.
It's almost always icing on the adventure cake for me, right, without fail.
You want to make me happy?
Take me on an adventure, right?
You want to make me awestruck?
Then you've got to add a good gift shop.
I'm just saying.
I'm just saying.
It's a thing.
So anyway, as far as dedication to the field of UFOs, this museum is top of the line, okay?
Top of the line, very compelling, eerie and very, very compelling, right?
So as we're there, I am walking around the museum, right?
I've got my new t-shirt in my hand and my glow-in-the-dark alien shot glass, right?
It's all there.
And I'm looking around and every wall is filled with information, right?
Historical information everywhere.
Lots of it.
Like there's no empty space on the walls anywhere.
And so I'm fixing my attention on all of this information, a lot of it original information.
And as I turned to move across the room, a man approached me, very, very nice older man,
and he looked at me and he kept looking at me, right?
And he finally said, you believe I can tell.
Well, he immediately got my attention because I had no idea what he was talking about.
And he said it again, you believe, don't you?
You know the truth.
And so I'm sort of backing up a little bit and I'm thinking, okay, what truth, right?
What's happening?
And he kept saying, you know the truth.
And I'm thinking, okay, I'm not sure I know the truth, Fred.
And he kept insisting, you know the truth.
And I'm like, you know, I know, I don't think I do know it.
And you know, he's saying, you know the truth.
And I'm thinking, oh, I definitely do not know the truth.
I do not know the truth.
But he reached in his pocket and he pulled out a lapel pin and he handed it to me.
And he said, I want to give this to you.
Will you take it?
I know you believe and I know you know the truth.
And for some crazy reason, I didn't even hesitate.
I held my hand out and I took it.
And without even thinking, I looked right at him and I said, I do know.
And I thanked him and he walked away and I thought, what did I just say?
Why did I just say that?
And you know, I never got my eye on him again.
But it made a real impression on me and I remember it like it was yesterday.
Just like it was yesterday.
So you know, that was my disclosure experience.
And it may be that one day I will know what he thought I should.
And that is a real fascination for me.
He was a lovely man.
And I am sure a dedicated volunteer who clearly loved being in that space and welcoming
folks into the museum and handing out these beautiful little pins.
And it was his service to disclosure.
It was his passion.
And it's a memorable experience for me.
And you know, I'm wondering what your disclosure experience is.
And for me, I'm hoping it doesn't bring up unpleasant things.
Which you know, might be the case for some of us unfortunately.
Some of us struggle with things we don't quite understand.
But maybe we will one day friends.
I'm certainly hopeful that this idea of non-terrestrial disclosure will bring a full picture.
A full picture of the human experience that we've had.
Our progress as a people requires revelation, doesn't it?
I mean, in everything really, I mean, it requires truth.
It is if ascension requires the truth telling.
It requires disclosure.
For some reason.
Does that make sense?
Is it possible that disclosure, the truth telling, is the necessary bridge we walk across
from a dark world into the light?
I mean, think about that.
For a journey of disclosure, it might come fast or it might come slow.
And that likely depends on us, right?
It likely depends on us how it happens and what that looks like.
It's probably going to take great care from the powers that be to assist us just the right
way in our progress toward the revelation of what we have experienced and what we think
we know and how that has affected us and how that has made a home in our subconscious
things that we don't even know, we know, right?
What we don't know plays a big part, right?
And how we experience our world and how we walk across that bridge that is our revelation.
Does that make sense, friends?
And you know, on a different note, as we spend time together today, I'm wondering
if some of us are battling silent struggles of the heart right now.
Things that are tugging on us maybe from our subconscious and maybe we haven't put those
things together yet.
Like we just said, some of us are dealing with things in our lives that maybe we can't
exactly get a handle on or we don't understand.
Maybe we're at a crossroads and we are looking in any number of directions and it kind of
squeezes us and it makes us feel caught in a matrix that we're trying to liberate ourselves
from, right?
All while we're trying to take care of families and maybe take care of our health and take
care of loved ones and keep relationships together and keep homes and keep food on the
table and maybe there's mental health we're trying so desperately to deal with and maybe
we're trying to figure out our place in the world and all of it is converging, right?
It's converging in that space in our hearts that hurts right now, right?
And there are maybe for some of us a lot of uncertainties in the human condition right
now and it's why finding that place within that place inside ourselves right now that
is our spark, right?
That can light us in a greater sense of self that tethers us somehow energetically to
the light of our being that we may need so so desperately if things are hard and feel
maybe like they're getting harder and I'm wondering if you can sit with me for just a
minute and hear me when I say life will soon stop getting harder.
It will stop getting harder friends.
We're at the end of a long season of suffering.
We are coming into a new hope if we can hold on to each other and hold on to our sanity
and to those practices of peace building that pull us into a place of shared safety together
and if we can find some rest and some quiet stillness.
You know five minutes with coffee or tea out on our porch can be a few minutes centering
ourselves that really really matters or maybe a few minutes of rebalancing our energies
at our desk before we start our work day maybe or maybe a few minutes of expressing
self love through a little self care right by something we do just for our own health
and well-being right or a few minutes of gratitude before we go to bed.
Maybe it's a daydream that we let ourselves sit and think about and we don't stop ourselves
from these ridiculous beautiful sunshiny daydreams.
We just let them happen right just for a few minutes and we can have trust that we can
rely on a love that that's bigger than the darkness it is it is greater than the darkness
friends it's a love we build for the self right and love we build together and we share
together together it's love that is the light at the end of the tunnel and and if you're
still sitting in the darkness maybe you're overcome by it and there there's nowhere to
go and maybe just try one more thing right just one more thing maybe and find the you
there on the inside just take just a minute just go inside right and just find that little
bit of courage to feel a beating heart connected in their beating with the cosmos that loves
you so dearly can you feel that just a little bit you know it is for you and with you and
believes in you because friends that that heartbeat it is you it spirals there inside your body a
whole cosmos the energy of universes inside that beating heart that hurts right now
you know that is god hurting too so just remember that everything you need is inside you
put there to carry on the journey of your lifetime ever faithful and ever evolving trusting in
yourself that each right action is a step on the path home to who you really are
and I love you so much and I'm just a mouthpiece telling you that the source of all creation in
all its mysteries has designed your spirit for superior things and it's so so precious
and don't give up on yourself it's a message we can all share friends far and wide we can share
the good news of better days right as humanity stands at the doorway to a new earth we're right
there we are right there reach your hand out friends
you know its creation conspired by a lot of folks on a galactic journey to turn a cosmos
from dark to light and you too you too you are part of that mission you are here in this time
to soldier that same mission make no mistake about it you
are ancient souls and galactic guardians and jedi's and angels and mermaids and your
Martians and ancient orders of creator races and sacred bloodlines and higher dimensional beings
and trueborn terrons and light workers and star seeds of many many kinds friends
if you are here you are the ones we have been waiting for
you are the ones we have been waiting for don't give up
fill yourself with the light of your spirit keep your body nourished with it with the union of
self and source consciousness and we know how we know how we breathe in the light
we meditate it in we manifest it in we welcome it in and we unify with others who hold the knowing
of its origin it's who we are it's what we do no more darkness friends no more dark matrix
we are claiming our sovereignty in little steps or big bounds we are decided
we are walking away we are walking out of what no longer serves we are brave
we are remembering we won't fail failure is not an option
and we feel it deep down inside it is the very beginning of our remembrance
it's the beginning of our remembrance right but you know why are we even talking about fail
you are on the playground right we are here to call our inner child out to play a little bit
to reveal to us what is authentically us right and whatever shape or form
and how could we ever fail doing that right and you know we like to spend some time together
in that space there in the heart that is our inner child right that that helps us return to our
true essential selves and in that spirit of why we come together on Sunday afternoons
I wonder if you want to do a little expressive play we it's been a while you want to I have been
so long-winded lately right that we've sort of haven't been able to enjoy a whole lot of
exercises together so you want to be creative for a little bit right share some creative time together
so do we know what a silver lining is symbolically a silver lining so when we're told to look for
a silver lining in something right in an unfortunate situation or disappointing outcome what does that
mean a silver lining well it means we can always look for a benefit or upside to a disappointing
or unfortunate situation right we remember now children naturally operate in this realm of finding
a silver lining when things don't necessarily go an expected kind of a way okay children do this
naturally um you know until they're conditioned right to anticipate specific outcomes that create
narrow expectations and then what we get is something of a temper tantrum but until that point until
all of that operant conditioning moves into this brain that's growing children do a brilliant job
at finding the silver lining of things and I want to talk about that for a second as we
enter into our expressive play exercise children naturally have the ability to activate what is
called cognitive reappraisal okay cognitive reappraisal the ability to see the bright side of almost
anything because children are not attached to outcomes yet okay they're thinking their brains
are not attached to outcomes yet the young brain does not have a developed memory center
that builds expectation through memory that has formed something of a rigid pathway of judging
input and experiences that come in right so these rigid pathways are not existed yet does that make
sense and so children can hold a curiosity about things which sort of means their brains are not
engaged in in anticipating or expecting right but what their brains are really engaged in
is learning right rather than anticipating or expecting particular outcomes children aren't
looking for outcomes they are in the moment and they are moving through this curiosity of wanting
to know more oh what comes next I am enjoying this moment right children are not looking for an
outcome but for an experience does that make sense they aren't attached to outcomes or results or
expectations right because they don't have these suitcases of memories that that they attach to
and that's called cognitive flexibility right children still have cognitive flexibility
adults lack cognitive flexibility in large part right without a lot of conscious effort
to build in flexibility and it's because adult minds are past driven right but children are focused on
things like past mistakes or or future disappointments or that kind of a thing so their minds are
much more cognitively flexible and for them curiosity rules the day
um and it's really only until they start learning to anticipate or expect specific things to happen
right so the cause and effect becomes a rigid kind of a mental process and and then they start
looking around to see what's being modeled and parents teach modeling they model right
they model to their children how do we it behave in certain things what how do we create
expectations how do we do things to get certain results right and so all of this becomes integrated
into the child brain and children begin to function like adult brains function
right they integrate how adults around them react when specific things don't occur
right and later on we call this what we call it peer pressure just comes right on in in those
teen years do we see that as children grow the brain codes needs and wants that evaluate outcomes
and measures results good bad or ugly right it means children lose resilience as they grow
and it means children lose their natural optimism and adaptability and it means children lose their
coping mechanisms as the brain starts organizing what's good and what's bad what's important and
what's unnecessary right what's expected that kind of thing does that make sense and so essentially
when we stop playing and we stop adventuring and we stop asking questions and we stop being curious
we start controlling the conditions of our thinking right and calculating and expecting
and predicting we start predicting life into rigid behaviors cause and effect
which means rigid lifestyles when you think about it and who wants that
and it's why choosing to see the silver lining in life's disappointments is such a refreshing
exercise for the divine inner child who really wants to be free from expectation right and limitation
and self-imposed kinds of thinking by the way
and we sort of will ourselves out of our liberty as we grow up don't we and it's no wonder how
systems of social control they sort of come on in and take over as we lose this flow
right this flow of being in a present moment right we lose going with the flow we lose our
energetic flow it's all pure energy but we stop that flow with what should be and what wasn't
and what could have been but what didn't happen and what what we wanted to happen because it was
supposed to happen and that's the way it's done etc etc etc do we see that
so let's take a minute and test all that information about silver linings and the way we think you want
to let's apply the idea of finding a silver lining and see what that looks like and feels like for us
so this exercise is super easy but it's very informative okay and there are four parts to the
activity and so we're going to want to draw four boxes on a paper or separate the page that we have
into four spaces now a lot of us like to use our notebooks when we do our expressive therapy
but we don't have to we can just use any old thing to write with any old thing to write on
right and take notes if we want to put it in a notebook later if we'd like to if we can't get
to paper then somehow we can sort of meditate through the process as well we can talk ourselves
through it as we go along and it's all right it's it's all right how we choose to do it
so if we have paper right there are four parts to the activity and so we're going to draw four
boxes on paper okay and we're going to separate the page into four spaces however you want to do it
so go ahead and get your boxes drawn onto your paper or if you are doing this as a mental exercise
organize the mental frame of your boxes as you're thinking about them and we're going to put
particular specific information in each one of those boxes okay that's what we're going to do
so in the first box we are going to list three things okay we are going to list three things
that give our life positive meaning okay you can choose what three you would like to put on paper
it can be the first three things that come to your mind it could be the three most important
things that give your life positive meaning it could be the three things you're experiencing right
now that give you positive meaning however you want to interpret that let's get three things on
inside box number one of things that give our life positive meaning okay that make it a good
life for us to live all right we're focusing on a positive mindset right now which is super important
we're getting ourselves into a positive mindset for our activity and we're thinking about what creates
a good life for ourselves three things you got it okay let's keep those three things in mind
and now we're going to turn our attention to box number two all right and we're going to think back
to a time when one of those things that we just listed was threatened in some way we're going to think
back to a memorable time when one of those things we just listed in box one was threatened
when living our positive lives with things that gave us meaning was threatened okay if ever if ever
for example let me give you an example if you listed your good health
as something that gave your life positive meaning was there a time when good health was somehow
compromised maybe or threatened maybe just as an example right do we get it so jot down a few
thoughts in box number two about that experience okay a few short thoughts as you reflect on
that particular experience all right what did it feel like what do you remember
about the threat to the positive experience of your life i want you to think about that get some key words down
you got it okay let's work ourselves into box number three all right box number three
I'd like you to answer this question all right however it might come to you to answer maybe you take the first thing that comes to your mind maybe you sit and think about it for just a second longer right it's totally up to you but answer this question
what were some silver linings that came with the threat or disappointment you described in box two
if ever there was a time that you feel threatened in some way about your positive life experiences
were there silver linings that you were able to make from that disappointment
could you create silver linings in some way
how did you find a silver lining in that disappointing situation
how did you turn the situation around essentially
and will take just a minute or so to jot down a few thoughts about that
okay you got it how did you turn that disappointment around
how did you find that silver lining and maybe it wasn't a perfect solution but but maybe it was a hopeful thing or or you were able to parse out a
something of a silver lining in the end in some way get that down on paper
so let's turn our attention to our last box it's box number four
and you're going to ask yourself okay as honestly as you can listen for whatever answer comes through
okay whatever answer might just come right on through for you you might want to take that
first inkling of of what you're hearing as an answer or you could sit and think about it for a minute
but you're going to ask yourself okay keeping in mind all of the information that you filled in for box number one
box number two and box number three the whole set of data that you have completed
ask yourself in this situation how would my inner child have reacted to the issue in box number two
to the disappointment in box number two try to put yourself in a child's shoes right thinking the way a child thinks
and consider how you would have seen the situation as a child who lives moment by moment
resilient and curious no determined outcomes no expectations of what's good or bad or right
or wrong would you have had the same fear or would you just allow the experience to unfold
would you have made things worse with worry and dread as your inner child
and remember we're not judging we are just observing right just observing maybe your inner child has been
insecure from early on and maybe finding a silver lining for you is even hard
as that inner child and you know that may be worth some dedicated time working on
and the idea is that our essential self the eternal part of us right the timeless us the
I am that I am forever as I am and everything that becomes I am is always there right
but it might be blocked by a brain that doesn't think like eternal beings think
or like the inner child things right the essential self but we're still in there right we're still
in there can we allow the divine eternal to guide us a little better through disappointing
and difficult times by maybe readjusting our expectation and the need for specific outcomes
and really helping us find the silver lining that surrounds a cloudy day and maybe illuminates it
right does that make sense can we choose to do that in times of disappointment
as maybe a return to greater curiosity and and resilience and flexibility can we gift ourselves
those beautiful things should we make it our challenge this week to find the silver
linings and things that might not go our way or my disappoint us or might cause us to pause or
question things you know we could maybe find a little silver lining like our inner child might
you know I am I'm certainly glad we could share this activity together I think it might go hand
and hand in the way that we're thinking about disclosure and and the way that we are standing
at the doorway to to a new earth experience unfolding for us a little at a time maybe
and I want to thank you so much for taking time out to express yourself and reflect on those ideas
it is true medicine for the soul friends when we can do that and time with you is medicine for my soul
