As many regular listeners might already know I am very interested in HEALTH and especially natural and alternative health. I am always studying non traditional therapies and non-invasive approaches and my own Quantum Healing practice is of course a great part of my focus.
Today I am actually going to talk a little bit about my own health and take you directly and intimately into an actual alternative health session that I had just a few days ago in Georgetown, Texas with an amazing healer and good friend named Brent Voth!
Brent is a respected healer in his field - MANUAL THERAPY. This show is part play by play of a manual therapy session featuring visceral manipulation and part interview with a man passionate about helping people REALLY recover from pain and injury by focusing on the direct cause and not simply treating symptoms. He is no less than on the cutting edge of what physical therapy really SHOULD be in the world!
Brent earned his masters degree in physical therapy in 1995 from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota, doing his thesis work in manual therapy. Wanting to gain as much knowledge as possible out of college, he began his career as a traveling therapist, contracting around the country with different health organizations. Discovering his true passion was hands-on, manual therapy, Brent came to Austin, TX in 1999 to focus solely on this type of specialized work. Brent proudly opened the private practice - North Star Manual Therapy - in 2004. He has been recognized in various newspapers and by different organizations for his experience with manual therapy, including his success with treating all types of acute injuries, visceral problems, and cranial ailments. To expand and broaden his specialty in manual therapy, Brent pursues intense continuing education classes around the country each year. In his spare time, Brent enjoys all sports, anything outdoors and spending time with his wife, Lana, and sons, Gavin and Connor.

On our program for Sunday, February 14th, Valentine’s Day, we’re taking a unique approach to this traditional day of love and commitment. Please join us as we introduce you to meet Dr. Bonnie Eaker Weil, an internationally acclaimed psychologist. Dr. Bonnie will be speaking with us about adultery. She wrote a book, “Adultery, the Forgivable Sin” and she will share with us how adultery might be considered a disease that follows generations in a family and how a couple can heal and recover from adultery. Following Dr. Bonnie will be Jules Martinez Hirst, a nationally prominent expert on etiquette. Jules will speak with us about manners such as how to introduce one person to another, how to set the table, what to do with your napkin when you leave the table, which utensils to use and when and how. Additionally, Jules will talk about entertaining clients or colleagues professionally and what is expected in those encounters to distinguish us from others who aren’t paying attention to the finer points.
