New Zealand-born Dave Worsley is a broadcaster, PR guy, media manager, sponsorship manager, journalist and babysitter of athletes and corporates.

Having lived in the United States, Australia, Middle East and travelled to many different countries all in the name of ‘work’ he believes there’s still places to see and things to do wherever he goes.

Dave is currently in New York for the US Open tennis and has covered close to 35 Grand Slams as well as about eight golfing major and worked for the ATP (the men’s tennis tour). He’s been heavily involved in basketball from the world junior basketball champs to the Harlem Globetrotters as well as New Zealand’s notable national rugby team, the All Blacks.

He’s also worked in music radio in the past including a nationwide show called ‘love songs til midnight’.

CORY PESATURO

Cory Pesaturo (“C Pez”) is on the forefront of the accordion world, pushing the boundaries on multiple fronts of what is possible with the accordion. The only person to ever win the trio of World Championships on Acoustic, Digital & Jazz Accordion, and the only accordion graduate of the prestigious New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA. In 2017, Pesaturo became a Guinness World Record Holder, as RedBull® flew him to Austria to break the Marathon Accordion Record, in which Cory played for over 32 hours. Cory’s main contribution is his visionary thinking of how the accordion should be used, played, taught, and presented in modern music. He has given 2 TED Talk’s and 2 Google Talk’s about this, which are currently the only TED or Google talks in the world about the accordion. Pesaturo is also developing his own electric accordion, and already has made the first ever skinned accordion which includes a symmetric lighting system attached to the keys.  

Pesaturo’s extensive resumé includes appearances at the White House for President and Mrs. Clinton on 4 different occasions, starting at age 12, and 8 other appearances for the Clintons since 2000, along with 14 letters from the first family. On one of those occasions, he became the youngest person to ever perform at a State Dinner, performing with the Marine Strolling Strings for the President of Hungary. Some TV appearances include the Late Show with David Letterman, performing with Johnny Depp, and nationally televised programs in New Zealand, Canada, Italy, Tunisia, France, and Finland. On an NYC broadcast, CNBC/FOX host Maria Bartiromo once said “No one is currently doing more for the Accordion than Cory”. He has judged accordion competitions in the US, Canada, and Europe, in addition to other music competitions, and currently gives masterclasses at various universities throughout the US and Europe on Accordion and Improvisation.  

For his Classical side which is lesser known, a win in a concerto competition at 16 years old gave Pesaturo the rare opportunity to perform with the Brockton Symphony Orchestra as a featured soloist, where he became the youngest accordionist to ever solo with a symphony orchestra in the US back in 2003. Concerning his Jazz side, Cory recorded two CD’s with saxophone legend George Garzone and his known band “The Fringe” at age 19, and has become friends with Jazz and Music Legends Quincy Jones and Wynton Marsalis. His performances at all 3 of his World Championships were played on accordions that were not his, and were generally 90% improvised; both aspects are unheard of in the accordion world.  

The instruments most famous legend in the US, Dick Contino, said when Cory was only 15, “Of all the accordionists I’ve seen over the years, Cory is the one to pass the torch to, the only one who has all the tools to bring the accordion back to its former glory.” Guido Deiro’s son, the “Father of Piano Accordion”, has stated “I’ve worried greatly about the future of the accordion since my father died, but not anymore since seeing and hearing Cory.”  

Pesaturo is also heavily involved and respected with the weather and motor sports worlds as well. He composed the Official list of records set by the record-breaking 2005 Atlantic hurricane season and also wrote the lists for the 2007 and 2008 Seasons as well. Moreover, he has put out reports on Winter Seasons for the US which have been featured on Accuweather.com, HurricaneCirty.com, and others. Cory is known for his FreeSledding work, including his own sledding mountain called “CN Mountain”. Sherry Wilde was born & raised in southwestern Wisconsin and continues to spend the majority of her time there. In 1987 her community experienced a UFO flap that was considered one of the most active in the world.  Over the next 18-24 months, Sherry was forced to accept her involvement in a phenomenon that was totally unknown to her.  

Sherry spent the next several years of her life trying to exonerate the experiences from her mind and did her best to return to a normal life, but when heavy contact started again in late 2009, after several years of relative peace, she could no longer ignore it.

Inexplicably, she found herself writing a book about the encounters as her memory opened up to the past events and the teachings these beings had imparted to her.  Overcoming her fear and learning the truth of her involvement with these ultra-dimensional beings became her life goal.

Following the publication of her book The Forgotten Promise in late 2012, Sherry was poisoned and fell seriously ill, forcing her to curtail all speaking engagements for several years. STEVEN DRUCKER is a public interest attorney who founded the Alliance for Bio-Integrity, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting technologies that foster human and environmental health and addressing the problems of those that do not. As executive director of the Alliance, he organized a lawsuit against the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that forced it to divulge its files on genetically engineered (GE) foods. This revealed that politically appointed administrators had covered up the extensive warnings of their own scientists about the unusual risks of these foods, lied about the facts, and then ushered these novel products onto the market in violation of explicit mandates of federal food safety law. In organizing the suit, he assembled an unprecedented coalition of eminent scientists and religious leaders to stand with the Alliance as co-plaintiffs – the first time scientists had sued a federal administrative agency on the grounds that one of its policies is scientifically unsound.

He is a prominent commentator on the risks of GE foods, has been featured in numerous articles in newspapers and magazines on five continents, and has appeared on many nationally broadcast television and radio programs (such as NPR’s The Connection and The Cleveland City Club; various BBC interviews; and Australia’s equivalent of The Today Show). He’s been a featured speaker at symposia at the British House of Commons and the National Congress of Brazil and at press conferences sponsored by the Brazilian Medical Association, the Swedish Consumers Association, and concerned members of the European Parliament.

He has served on the food safety panels at conferences conducted by the National Research Council and the FDA; given lectures at numerous universities (including the Biological Laboratories at Harvard, Tel Aviv University, and the University of Copenhagen); and met with government officials world-wide, including the UK’s Environmental Minister and the heads of food safety for France, Ireland, and Australia. In May 2004, The Financial Times published his comment on GE food and the deceptions of the U.S. government.

He has extensive academic background in the history and philosophy of science and in human development and ethics – and has lectured extensively in these fields at universities and for professional groups, including presentations at the Center for Moral Development at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an institute of the American Bar Association. He co-authored the introductory and final chapters of Higher Stages of Human Development, published by Oxford University Press, and wrote a chapter on ethical development for Transcendence and Mature Thought in Adulthood, published by Rowman and Littlefield.

He majored in philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley, received a special award for “Outstanding Accomplishment” in that field, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year, and graduated with “Great Distinction in General Scholarship.” He also received his Juris Doctor from U.C. Berkeley and was elected to both the Law Review and the Order of the Coif (the legal honor society).

I have to admit…there are a couple of important life concepts that took me awhile to understand.  First, many of the things we encounter in our lives are not always what they initially appear to be.  And second, discovering the truth about something doesn’t always happen quickly or easily.  Based on personal experience, and many years of observation, these two concepts seem to apply equally to things out in the world as well as people and situations close to home.  Understanding these concepts has played a big part in my growth as an individual and as an educator. 

After graduating from college with a degree in psychology – with little hope of getting a paying job – I supported myself and my family by working as a carpenter in the construction industry. For the most part, I enjoyed the work I was doing, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that I had another “true calling”.  Over time, I began to notice that in my daily interactions with the world of commerce there were many inconsistencies and contradictions. Eventually, I found myself drawn to studying the history, origins and foundational concepts related to commerce.  I began to understand that the commercial world we deal with every day is often not what it appears to be.  And like many things in life that take time and effort to fully understand, at a certain point it became clear to me that my life’s work would focus on helping other people understand the truth about how commerce really works.
