Raging Flowers is a Chinese-Kiwi indie artist living in New Zealand. She is an award-winning songwriter who loves to tell stories that are emotional and sometimes funny. She's a one-woman band who plays guitar and produces her own songs.

She likes to combine a range of genres including blues, country, jazz, RnB, and rock. She describes her music as indie pop with folk punk and jazz blues influences. Others have compared her music to Daniel Johnston, Violent Femmes, and Jonathan Richman.

"She can sound like Yoko Ono with her higher pitch, but mostly she reminds me of the naïve simplicity of Jonathan Richman in the humour and cutting edge of the lyrics." - Red Raven News
“It's so refreshing to see after getting nothing but generic rnb acoustic singer songwriters on my fyp.” - Rob - Abstract and Modern
"Thanks for your music it helps me a lot through my day" - Moon

Her music is rapidly gaining recognition. Her debut single charted on the NZ RadioScope Alternative Airplay chart. Tissue Paper (unreleased) was awarded the First Prize in Out From The Mist 2024, an international arts competition for mental health awareness and the hope of recovery.

Before Raging Flowers started writing songs, she had a career in Tech. She got burnt out and took a career break where she became a professional Muay Thai fighter and fell in love with songwriting. She hopes to help others have a laugh about life's challenging situations through her songs.
