I saw love
Bud Elkin © 2015
I saw love looking out for you
I saw love standing up for you
I saw love look you right in the eye
But I didn’t see if it made you cry.
[VERSE]
I saw love look for you tonight in Dallas.
Where your Feet were movin to the beat round the fellas
Then I saw love take you by the hand and hold you
Where emotions ran deep and tears of love consumed you.
Why oh why, Why oh why is love so elusive?
Can’t you give love a chance……. to be all inclusive?
[bridge]
I say love is all around you
It's never that far away
Stop trying so hard to make it work
And let love have its way
[CHORUS]
I saw love looking out for you
I saw love standing up for you
I saw love look you right in the eye
But I didn’t see if it made you cry.
[VERSE]
The next big town you see, might be your haven
And it could be the one, where love finds you waitin
And love will take its time as it molds you
if you wait for the love that was made for you
[CHORUS OUT]
I saw love looking out for you
I saw love standing up for you
I saw love look you right in the eye
But I didn’t see if it made you cry.
