I write from the Danish label Artpop Productions. We would like to present the new single from Andy X. Andy is a very experienced producer, songwriter and performer on the Danish indie scene, though this is only his second single in this project. Some of his work had airplay on BBC, Tokyo FM, Little Stevens Underground Garage (US) and many other stations around the world. Some songs were used in movies, TV series and commercials in Ukraine, France and the US.
His sense of handling language in razor-sharp sentences is clearer than ever, and he shows his passion for indie and post punk. He might have roots in classic rock, but he stands as a modern rock poet with an ear to the ground and an eye to the future. A living proof that rock is not dead, and that it doesn't have to be backward-looking.
Perhaps in a few years, we can look back and think "Thank God it never went that far"
