Richard "Dick" O. Jacobs

CRASH LANDING is about a business failure, the collapse of a bank in Florida. It's about leading a business in perilous times-during crisis when there is no visible end to trouble and when there is no solution that seems to work, when the "right executive stuff" turns out to be the "wrong executive stuff." It is about all the painful emotions that emerged from the wreckage of a failed business. A story that resonates today around the world.

Richard Jacobs, author of CRASH LANDING: SURVIVING A BUSINESS CRISIS. Published by Glenbridge Publishing Ltd.

Richard Jacobs took a leave of absence from his firm to assist Park Bank, where he served as President and CEO during the final three years in business. A story that resonates today across the United States and around the world.

Dick Jacobs focuses his practice on health law, corporate and tax law (including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions), personal estate planning and asset protection. Dick graduated from Stetson University College of Law, magna cum laude and the University of Wisconsin with a B.B.A. with honors. Jacobs had built one of the largest law firms on the West Coast of Florida, in 1983, when he took a leave of absence from his firm to assist a troubled bank, where he served as president and CEO during its final three years in business. As a result of that experience he wrote the book Crash Landing - Surviving a Business Crisis, published by Glenbridge Publishing Ltd.

Dick currently serves as general counsel for the Pinellas County Medical Society. He has previously served as general counsel and principal of an investment banking firm.
