Chiropractic Expertise
Dr Thompson has been experimenting with the scientific use of sound clinically since 1980. He first started this research in his Holistic Health Center in Winchester Virginia which grew to be the largest center of its kind in Virginia at the time. His first work was using precisely tuned sound frequencies to make Chiropractic spinal adjustments, then Cranial and Cranial/Sacral adjustments with sound. This work carried on for the next eight years and led to experiments with Acupuncture Meridians, Organs and Glands and eventually to the Brain itself as an organ. It was his work with influencing the Autonomic Nervous System of the brain with precisely tuned sound frequencies for healing that led him to sell his practice and home in 1988 and move to San Diego, California to create a research center and clinic to explore this sound work full-time.

Dr Thompson is a musician and composer in his own rite aside from being a pioneer in the use of his own, patented brainwave entrainment technologies built into his musical compositions for healing and for exploring advanced states of meditation. Educational Expertise
For six years Dr. Thompson was a faculty member at the California Institute for Human Science, a graduate school and research center in Encinitas, California, where he had his faculty offices, clinical office and research space. He taught Behavioral Psycho-Acoustics and Clinical Neuroacoustic Therapy courses, recognized by the State of California as part of the core curriculum for the Clinical Psychotherapy and Human Science Masters and PhD programs. He is a born teacher and continues to teach at various events and through sponsored seminars, workshops, intensives, internships and certification courses across the country and around the world. Dr. Thompson has worked with Deepak Chopra, created seven self-improvement tapes with Louise Hay, has created sound programs for conferences with Bernie Siegel, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Bru Joy, and Susan Jeffers and Timothy Leary He has worked with NASA and JPL with plasma-wave audio recordings from Voyager I and II and researched their effects on the subconscious mind for healing and emotional release. His work has been part of research projects at the Neuro-Psychiatric Center at UCLA and has been researched at the Royal Ottawa Sleep Research Center in Canada, as well as multiple other companies who license his sounds to complement and empower their offering to society. His work was chosen to be part of the nationally funded CSCAT (Center for the Study of Complementary and Alternative Therapies) Program at Duke University and the University of Virginia in the 1990s.
