I have come to understand my life in terms of spiritual aspiration. I was raised as an observant Catholic, I got an undergraduate degree in the history of religions from Brown University. My own experience of Spirit did not fit neatly into any of the traditional religions and I found my way into esoteric literature and eastern religions after graduation.
