Life Changes Show with Filippo Voltaggio and cohost Mark Laisure
A Modern Approach to Meditation with Guest, Meditation Teacher and Bodyworker, Leah Santa Cruz; and Musical Guest, Musician, Guitarist, Paul Teodo on The LIFE CHANGES Show
GUEST: LEAH SANTA CRUZ and MUSICAL GUEST: PAUL TEODO
Guest, Leah Santa Cruz
LEAH SANTA CRUZ
Meditation Teacher // Bodyworker
Leah has developed a modern and accessible approach to meditation that integrates psychology and the neurosciences (the focus of her studies) with the instinctual choreography of our inner nature. After nearly a decade working at Microsoft and startups, Leah tailored her meditation practice for the day-to-day, in order to minimize anxiety and stress while improving inner happiness and quality of life. A personal odyssey that took her from “stressed out to chilled out.” As she states, “Harmony of mind and body is a beautiful concept but doesn’t mean much to someone under stress.”
Her intensive training with master teachers such as Dr. Lorin Roche Ph.D., Camille Maurine, Steve Ross and Google’s “Search Inside Yourself Institute,” make her style the perfect go-to for artists, young professionals and people with busy lifestyles.
Guest, Paul Teodo
PAUL TEODO
Paul was recently ranked #1 Yoga Teacher in LA by The Culture Trip. He specializes in Power Yoga and Mindfulness meditation. One of his unique talents as an accomplished musician is playing original guitar in open-tunings, a style he has perfected for meditative settings over the last 20 years.
Paul earned his 200hr certification at Yoga Works, under senior teachers David Kim and Jesse Schein. Internationally known teacher, Sara Ivanhoe, has also mentored him for the past 5 years. He is currently studying under Dr. Lorin Roche, Ph.D., to earn another 200 hr meditation teacher training.
Life Changes Show
Come and join the conversation about what's going on and what we can do together about it, with it, and for it. We have the choice, we have the power. We can do magic if we just believe!
A show about the changes going on in us, to us, around us, and because of us. Therefore, it's technically a show about "Everything," only with a how to make it better, see it better, be better.
In the show, there is talk about, and with, people who have either been through major changes, are helping others with major changes, or people who are changing the world for the better in a major way.
The show is a one-hour talk show format with a monologue by the host, a 30 minute interview with a guest of note, capped by a "Producer's Wrap" segment, in which Filippo and Co-Host Mark Laisure, and sometimes surprise guests, bring it all home for the listeners in a sometimes humorous and sometimes touching, but always entertaining conversation.
