Greasy Gavin Newsom claims political persecution as feds probe staff and his wife
Iran, Election Integrity, and California Corruption Claims Through a Conservative Lens
Episode Overview — The Jim Benson Show, The Alex Jones Show, Dr. Steve Turley, and Real Politics with Brian Maxwell
In this episode of The Jim Benson Show, host Jim Benson presents a commentary-driven program built around several video clips from other conservative media programs. He explains that the episode will feature clips from The Alex Jones Show, Dr. Steve Turley’s YouTube commentary, Brian Maxwell’s Real Politics, and another Dr. Steve Turley segment. The first half focuses on competing conservative reactions to the Trump administration’s Iran ceasefire and peace framework, while the second half turns to election integrity, mail-in ballot controls, and federal investigations or allegations involving California Governor Gavin Newsom’s political circle.
The Alex Jones Show — Iran Deal as Capitulation and Strategic Failure
Jim first introduces a clip from Alex Jones, who argues that President Trump was pulled into the Iran conflict under false pretenses and that Israel manipulated the situation for its own strategic goals. Jones frames the ceasefire and memorandum of understanding as a weak outcome, calling the war unnecessary and suggesting that Iran emerged intact or even victorious. He points to headlines describing the deal as capitulation, notes that Israel rejected or criticized the deal, and argues that Trump may now be trying to stop the situation from getting worse. Jim makes clear that he respects Jones’s broader work but believes Jones is largely wrong about Trump’s handling of Iran.
Dr. Steve Turley — Iran Deal as Trump’s Strategic Masterstroke
Jim then plays a contrasting clip from Dr. Steve Turley, who presents the Iran agreement as a major Trump victory. Turley argues that Trump used pressure, a U.S. counter-blockade, and economic leverage to force Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and enter a 60-day ceasefire and negotiation period. He says Iran’s threat to disrupt global oil markets had long been its strongest leverage, but that Trump broke that leverage by making Iran lose massive oil revenue while keeping global oil prices from spiraling out of control. Jim states that he is much closer to Turley’s position, believing Trump’s actions made the world safer and may create a path toward a more stable Middle East.
The Jim Benson Show Commentary — From Iran to America’s Political Fight
After the Iran clips, Jim offers his own reaction. He says the future depends on whether Iran complies with the peace framework, but he is hopeful that the agreement can lead to better conditions in the Middle East and eventually greater freedom for the Iranian people. He then pivots to domestic politics, arguing that with the Iran conflict hopefully behind the country, the Trump administration should focus on preserving the American republic, strengthening election reforms, and preventing Democrats from regaining power in the midterms. Jim strongly criticizes Democrats, mail-in voting, open borders, climate-change politics, and what he describes as Marxist revolutionary policies, while also emphasizing that he is not advocating violence or illegality.
Dr. Steve Turley — Postal Service Ballot Rules and Mail-In Voting Controls
Jim’s next clip is another Dr. Steve Turley segment, this time about the Trump administration’s proposed use of the U.S. Postal Service to impose new controls on mail-in ballots. Turley argues that blue states, especially California, created legally sanctioned election systems that make fraud easier by using automatic voter registration, same-day registration, universal mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting, and long ballot-counting windows. He says Trump’s executive order would require states to submit verified mail-in and absentee voter lists with unique barcodes before the Postal Service processes ballots, creating a federal choke point for mail-in elections. In Turley’s view, this would force states to verify citizenship, track chain of custody, and clean up voter rolls.
Real Politics with Brian Maxwell and Dr. Steve Turley — Gavin Newsom, California, and Alleged Corruption
The final clips come from Brian Maxwell’s Real Politics and Dr. Steve Turley, both discussing investigations and allegations surrounding California Governor Gavin Newsom, his staff, and his wife’s nonprofit. The clips focus on Newsom’s claim that President Trump and the Department of Justice are targeting him because he criticizes Trump and may run for president. Maxwell and Turley instead frame the probes as investigations into alleged corruption, behested payments, nonprofit donations, state contracts, homelessness spending, fraud, and Newsom’s former chief of staff Dana Williamson, who pleaded guilty to federal felonies. Jim carefully notes that Newsom is entitled to the presumption of innocence and that, according to one report he saw, federal authorities were not currently investigating Newsom personally.
Closing Commentary - Watching California and Defending Peaceful Political Action
Jim closes by saying it remains to be seen what the investigations will reveal, but he welcomes scrutiny of what he considers the damage Democrats have done in California. He again frames the episode as evidence and perspective for listeners who want to legally and peacefully protect freedom, prosperity, and national survival. The show ends with Jim directing listeners to The Jim Benson Show pages on BBSRadio.com, his podcast platforms, related video sections, and his next episode two weeks later.

Conservative, you bet. Controversial, right again. It's time to squabble on the Jim Benson Show.
Hello and welcome to another edition of the Jim Benson Show. Conservative news and commentary addressing the issues that concern you here on the BBS radio and television network.
As we have a do here on today's program I want to play a lot of video clips. So I'll hold my commentary to a minimum to get it all into our time slot.
Our first two videos segments, two video segments are from the Alex Jones Show broadcast on the Alex Jones Network and Dr. Steve Turley's commentary on his YouTube channel.
Both are discussing the Iran War Peace deals ceasefire and memorandum of understanding,
laying the framework for continued negotiations to hopefully permanently resolve this conflict.
As you probably know, Alex Jones has turned to get Trump over the war in Iran and been sharply critical of the administration's motives and actions.
Well, Steve Turley has been among the major conservative commentators strongly supporting the president and his administration over its actions in Iran, as I have been.
I've long admired Alex Jones and what he's done to expose or at least cite evidence for,
dangers we face as individuals, a society and culture. But I find Jones all but completely wrong about the Iran War and Trump's stunning accomplishments in the conflict,
which I firmly believe have made the world a much safer place and should lead to a much more prosperous world, particularly the Middle East.
Although I can see some truth in Jones' criticisms. But of course, I'm in all the complete agreement with Dr. Turley's commentary here.
I'll let you be the judge of who is the most correct. So without further commentary, let's play these videos back to back.
It's Monday, June 15th, 2026. I'm your host, Alex Jones. We have got one hell of a transmission line in for you today.
The Alex Jones Network, tomorrow's news today.
If you are receiving this transition, you are the resistance.
Well, the drug report has an accurate headline.
Trump makes Iran great again. War for nothing. And I don't think it's over yet.
But how many days are we into the start of it? You can basically say it supposedly in the yesterday. We've heard that more than 45 times.
Trump is really trying to end it. He understands that Israel lied to him into the war, launched the first attack on February 28th,
Dragus and March 1st, the next day. I predicted exactly what would then happen, which has now happened.
And our gallant little ally, our number one ally, that spies on us and manipulates our politics and primary people that don't agree with them.
Well, they have pledged to keep attacking Iran, Lebanon, to not pull out their forces and to sabotage the deal.
Trump says the deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to all. I hereby fully authorize the toll free opening of the trade of our moves simultaneously here with authorized the immediate removal of the United States.
They will blockade ships of the world. Start your engines at the oil flow. President Donald J. Trump.
And it is a framework that the Iranians have agreed to. We can go over some of that.
But the big story here is Israel denounces Trump's deal with Iran.
U.S. and Iran reach framework for peace.
Trump says interim deal reached to end war and U.S. blockade.
And it's interim just like we have the deals, but Iran actually did sign this.
In the deal with Iran, Trump settled for much less than he set out to get. Well, that's because Israel wanted regime change and lied and said it could happen.
Analysis Gulf recalibrates as Iran emerges intact from war. This is a victory for Iran, folks.
Oil executives are sounding alarm on dwindling stockpiles.
It'll take six months to a year to get it back.
Military expert appalled by Trump's capitulation Iran worse than gaining nothing.
Well, at least he's pulling out of it or trying to.
So the disaster doesn't just get worse and worse and worse.
And we're talking about that.
Notice that's the leftist CIA Atlantic Obama, basically.
Oh, you know, you fail. Oh, Iran won.
Israel tried to use this for their greater Israel project and that's.
Well, this has happened.
Trump is turning victory and Iran into an American humiliation.
That's the one in telegraph.
The entire corporate media is bashing Trump now.
Granted, I said this one ended up happening and it is a defeat for the United States.
But it's better than continuing the war and the close straight and it being many, many, many times worse.
So this is a good thing.
Was bad that Trump went along with it, but now it's good that he's trying to do this.
As we speak, stocks are surging and the price of oil is plunging.
All because President Trump just forced an Iranian concession that no prior president thought possible.
The regime that held the world hostage for 47 years with a single threat of global catastrophe caved.
And I'm going to show you exactly how this new peace agreement was a strategic masterstroke that no one saw coming
and how President Trump's 40 chess just checkmated Iran permanently.

On his 80th birthday, June 14th, flag day, the 250th anniversary year of this great republic, President Donald J. Trump made a stunning announcement.
He posted on True Social that the deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran was in his words complete.
He authorized, quote, the toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz and simultaneously here with,
I authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade.
Ships of the world start your engines, let the oil flow.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shabash Sharif simultaneously announced that both sides had declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon with an official signing ceremony scheduled for June 19th at the end of this week.
In Switzerland, Iran's deputy foreign minister confirmed that Tehran would indeed enter a 60 day ceasefire and negotiation period and no longer threat in the Strait of Hormuz.
The global shockways of the agreement are already having their effects.
Stocks are surging all the way.
The price of oil is plummeting and Trump is loving every second of it posting on True Social, quote,
ships are starting to move, many loaded up with oil out of the Strait of Hormuz.
They're going along the southern highway, which is totally safe, secure and pristine.
There are other areas of travel also.
And it looks like we're seeing just the very beginning of this double effect of stock surging and gas prices plummeting.
And that's the key to this agreement with Iran.
The pattern here is unmistakable.
This is an America-first president who applies pressure when needed and then secures results that put American interests first,
reopening that critical waterway matters for global commerce and for lower costs of the pump here at home.
And it's the kind of practical outcome that rewards firmness over endless ideologically faithful negotiations that the neocons want.
And what Trump did here is he got Iran to bend where they never conceded before.
It's a fascinating development and one that so many naysayers out there are simply missing.
There is a single concession here on the part of Iran that tells us literally everything we need to know about this deal,
which as Axius is reporting, which appears to be quite accurate, the deal is actually rather dull.
It's surprisingly simple and straightforward and yet it hides what is nothing less than a very real massive admission on the part of Iran
and admission of catastrophic defeat.
We have to understand that for 47 years, the Islamic Republic has held one cart, one leverage point above all others over the entire world.
20% of the world's daily oil supply flows through a 20 mile choke point called, of course, the Strait of Hormuz.
20% every energy minister in Europe, every finance minister in Asia, most especially Beijing, which gets 40% of its daily oil imports passing through that straight.
Every oil executive on the planet has spent decades building their strategic calculus around one unspoken premise that Iran could any time it wanted close that straight
and that the consequences would be so economically catastrophic for global oil markets, for energy prices, for the world economy
that no American president would ever push Tehran to the brink.
Obama certainly didn't. Obama wouldn't even think of militarily threatening Iran, precisely because Iran's own threat was perceived as potentially so globally catastrophic.
In fact, Iran never even had to make the threat explicitly. It was ambient. It was structural. It hung over every diplomatic negotiation, every sanctions discussion, every nuclear deal.
But now with this agreement that will be signed later this week, Iran is being explicit.
They are openly conceding the defeat of Hormuz.
Now you have to understand just how significant this is. Hormuz was their ace in the hole. Hormuz was Iran's guarantee that the world would bend to their demands.
That's the key. Hormuz was Iran's guarantee that the world would always inevitably bend to their demands.
What just happened with this agreement, with this peace deal, is the exact opposite.
Iran is the one making the concession.
Iran is conceding the defeat of their Hormuz blockade by offering to reopen the strait themselves precisely because of the American counter blockade, which they never expected, and which has been draining them
of an estimated $500 million in oil revenue per day, lost oil revenue per day, leaving them with no economic leverage to sustain it any further.
Now we've talked about this on our livestream Friday broadcast last week.
The genius of the way this American counter blockade worked is that it forced more nations than ever to have to buy American oil, to rely on WTI and the like with American exports going through the roof.
All the while at the same time, keeping global oil prices relatively stable.
They never passed the $200 a barrel catastrophe at so many in the legacy media we're predicting and frankly hoping for.
And by doing that, Trump crushed Iran's one single point of leverage.
So yes, we were paying higher prices at the pump, which sucked for sure, no question.
But Iran was losing a half a billion dollars a day and lost oil revenue because of the counter blockade.
And that was simply unsustainable, especially given the fact that the price of oil per barrel did not skyrocket like the catastrophic projections thought it would.
And so they had no choice. They caved bottom line. The math told them they had to concede hormones.
They had to offer to open the straight in order to protect the one thing they can't survive without.
And that of course is oil revenue and that calculation is the most revealing thing Iran's leadership has communicated in decades.
We're about to see the real admission here in this deal that nobody's talking about.
You have to remember how much has changed over the last three months.
Operation Epic Fury wiped out 95% of the Iranian Navy.
Their ballistic missile stockpile, the arsenal that Iran had spent two generations, 40 years and hundreds of billions of dollars building up,
was degraded to the point where by some estimates it lost 90% of its capacity within the first week of the war alone.
Their Air Force was decimated. Their generals were being picked off one by one in surgical strikes inside Tehran itself.
Over 5,000 Iranian targets were struck across the course of the operation.
Iran has lost by conservative estimates a half a trillion dollars worth of nuclear, industrial and military investment investment built up painstakingly over 47 years gone in a matter of days gone.
Their bank accounts frozen. Their overseas assets seized.
The regime that once fancied itself, the regional hegemon, the self declared bully of the Middle East, was rendered militarily inert within approximately 14 days.
And the IRGC sitting in its bunkers and looking at the smoldering ruins of its once formidable conventional military drew a very specific lesson from all of this.
It will never again have conventional forces capable of matching what was deployed against it. Not in 10 years, not in 20.
Again, the math simply doesn't work. And so they literally had no choice but to concede hormones and hope that the Trump administration would use that concession as a window for negotiations going forward centered on the enriched uranium
and Iran's nuclear future, which Trump being the eternal pragmatist that he is most certainly did. Again, Iran has completely lost their capacity to project power.
They've been fully defined. They've been rendered completely inert. So now it's simply a matter of getting them to fully comply with Trump's consistent non-negotiable demands, right?
So no enrichment, the surrendering of existing uranium stockpile, no more proxy subsidies, and open up the straighter for moves fully and completely.
Iran has now officially conceded for moves. And the next 60 days will involve negotiations for comparable concessions with everything else.
Again, precisely because Iran has been so militarily and economically deb...
While it remains to be seen how well Iran's regime complies with the terms of the peace deal, I'm hopeful we will see much better days ahead for the entire Middle East and rest of the world.
Remember, Trump never said he sought regime change in Iran. You'll see Alice Jones citing... you saw, Alice Jones, citing the now radical leftist drug report declaring the Iran War,
peace deal is a capitulation by the US and the war was for nothing. It's difficult to get a clear picture of what exactly is going on within that vast country,
and no doubt the Iranian people have been enduring great suffering during this conflict. Not to mention all the terror and death brought about before it under the murderous mullahs ruling Iran.
But I'm sure that if an enduring peace can be established there, there are and will be powerful forces at work to finally free the Iranian people of the nightmare of the mullahs, imposed on them for nearly half a century.
Now that we can hopefully put the Iran conflict behind us, it's also my fervent hope the Trump administration can focus more completely on saving our old republic here in the USA with real election reforms heading into the all important midterm elections later this year.
The Communist Democrats, or more appropriately perhaps, the demon rats as podcaster Brian Maxwell calls them, has stated there are intents to win in reality as far as I could serve to steal the midterm,
immediately impeach and remove Trump and destroy the make America great again or a MAGA movement and pledge the country right back into open borders,
hysterical climate change and other madness of the Marxist revolution began in earnest under the true illegitimate president Joe Biden and his handlers.
Now again, as I always point out, I am in no way advocating any type of violence or illegality and dealing with our political enemies.
My purpose here as always is to provide evidence and perspective on current events so that we as a people can legally and peacefully take steps to ensure our continued freedoms, prosperity and survival as a people, a culture and a nation.
With this in mind, let's watch a video segment from another of Steve Turley's YouTube shows on the Trump administration's recent proposal to use the US Postal Service to clean up corrupted voter rolls in the States and rein in the horribly corrupt mail-in ballots that have been used so much in recent years to help the demon rats steal more elections and gain and hold political power.
They thought they built the perfect system perfectly calibrated to manufacture outcomes perfectly insulated from any accountability, most especially from you, the voter and all of it completely totally legal.
And for the last several years, they dared anyone to stop them.
Well, somebody finally accepted that dare. President Trump just dropped a bombshell that's about to blow this entire Democrat machine to pieces and the States that built it, they have no idea what's about to hit them, but they're about to find out.
So, a big reminder, registration from my private after hours meet up in Atlanta is still open. We only have 12 spots left. This is completely free for conference attendees, but once it's full, it's full.

We are all witnessing a master stroke on the part of President Trump to finally crush Democrat corruption once and for all. In fact, it's a series of master strokes that when combined, signal the death knell for the fraud machine that the Democrats built over the last several years.
It really is nothing short of the federal government calling the bluff of particularly California and every blue state that has spent the last decade quietly rigging their election systems. And here's the key rigging them legally.
Right. We talked about this while I was in Brazil last week. The real scandal that we're seeing unfold in California's mayoral election was never fraud per se.
It was that the laws were made to make the fraud legal. California's election system is the fraud. That's what you have to get. That's why the legacy media can pretend that there's absolutely nothing wrong with counting ballots five weeks after an election day.
It's precisely because California's laws mandate that they literally mandate fraud.
The real scandal is that California Democrats didn't need to do anything actually illegal. They didn't need to cheat as far as their own laws were concerned. They just brazen brazenly changed the laws and made the cheat itself in the law.
And as of today, the Trump administration is calling that bluff to play that game.
Two can use the law to politically bury their opponents. And that is exactly what the Trump administration is doing as we speak. The United States Postal Service has proposed a sweeping new rule that will require states to hand over their mail in and absentee voter rolls with corresponding unique barcodes attached to each ballot before the post office will process
and deliver a single mail in ballot. Under the new rule, states must submit to the U.S. Postal Service a verified list of legal voters, citizen voters, who are authorized to receive mail in ballots for federal elections, along with each voters personalized barcode linked to their specific ballot envelope.
And the post office then returns a finalized mail in and absentee participation list to each state's chief election official. So there are all kinds of checks and balances here. And here's the kicker.
Voters who receive mail in ballots must be included on that final verified participation list, a list that certifies that they're all legal citizens and that they haven't moved out of the state and the like.
They have to check out on this list. And if they don't, their ballots either don't get mailed in the first round of verification or they don't get counted in the second round of verification with the state's chief election official.
And if states refuse to comply with that system, if they refuse to hand over their voter rolls for verification, then the U.S. Postal Service simply will not process or deliver those ballots full stop as one auto pen justice would say.
If California, for example, continues to refuse to turn over their voter rolls for citizenship and other legal verification, then their entire mail in ballot scheme collapses.
Now, this isn't a random bureaucratic initiative. This is the direct implementation of President Trump's executive order signed in March of this year, which directed the postmaster general to initiate rulemaking to initiate rulemaking to initiate rulemaking to initiate rulemaking.
We're sure that ballots are sent only to individuals on a state specific mail in an absentee participation list.
The White House made it crystal clear the United States Postal Service, which comes ultimately under the direction of the executive branch of the federal government will ensure ballots are sent only to eligible legal citizen voters.
And that return ballots are also from those very same eligible citizen individuals.
Now, you have to understand how directly this demolishes California's voting scheme. California's automatic voter registration law makes voter registration automatic for every person who submits an application for a driver's license or ID card.
Now, you might ask, well, don't we verify citizenship at the DMV? And the answer is yes, the DMV collects citizenship information.
But the law, and this is the devil in the details, the law specifically prohibits the DMV from uploading that citizenship information for voter registration purposes.
And it goes even deeper because the law explicitly states that any non-citizen who becomes registered as a result shall be presumed to have acted with official authorization and shall not be guilty of fraudulently voting.
California made non-citizen voting legally excusable in the statute on purpose.
Then California passed a law allowing same day registrants, people who walk into a polling location, you know, homeless, you name it, just walk in and they can register on election day itself to immediately cast a non-provisional ballot with no full citizenship verification,
no check against existing databases, no confirmation that the address is even legitimate, that they even have an address.
And then as if it could possibly get worse, California sends a mail-in ballot to every single person on those already clearly corrupt voter rolls.
Regardless that they're here in this country legally or they're still even in the state.
And once those ballots are mailed out, California's ballot harvesting laws allow anyone, underscore that, anyone to collect and return ballots on behalf of voters with almost no restrictions, with no limit on how many ballots one person could turn in and no requirement for chain of custody verification.
A person could pick up a bunch of Republican ballots and throw them all in the trash or burn them and we would never know.
And those ballots don't even need to arrive at election day.
California accepts mail-in ballots postmarked by election day and receive up to seven days later.
Again, all perfectly legal. That is the scandal.
That is the fraud is baked into the law itself.
But now Trump is really doing something about it.
What he's proposing threatens to blow up the entire Democrat system.
Wait until you see this.
The central to get is that President Trump's executive order does not repeal or overturn California's laws.
It can't.
We're a federalist system.
The Constitution reserves election administration to the states and Trump knows that.
What he is doing instead actually something far more elegant.
He's using the federal government's own levers specifically United States Postal Service, which is a federal entity to create a choke point that every blue state has to pass through in order to conduct a mail-in election.
Now think about what the U.S. Postal Service rule actually does, right?
You want to run a mail-in ballot election, right? Well, like the state of Washington's, I understand it.
It is entirely mail-in ballot. All right. Fine. No problem.
The federal government will happily carry those ballots for you.
But first, you're going to hand us your voter rolls.
You're going to attach unique, trackable barcodes to every single ballot.
You're going to give us a verified participation list.
And simultaneously, the Department of Homeland Security, working with the Social Security Administration, is compiling state citizenship lists from federal citizenship and naturalization records, social security records, and other federal databases, and transmitting those lists to states at least 60 days before every federal election.
So what this means in plain English is frankly breathtaking.
The federal government is essentially telling California, telling Illinois, telling New York, your voter rolls are going to get checked against a federal citizenship database.
Your mail-in ballots are going to get barcodes.
Your election is going to have a chain of custody, or you will have no mail-in ballots at all.
Okay. Our last two video segments today are from more recent episodes of Brian Maxwell's Real Politics and Steve Turley's shows on YouTube.
These are discussing the growing federal investigations into mounting evidence for and allegations of corruption in rapidly anti-Trump and pro-communist Democrat, Governor Gavin Newsom's California.
These discussions focus on a new federal probe into corruption around Newsom, particularly his staff and his wife's supposedly charitable organization.
Now, as much as I despise Newsom and fight him disgusting, incompetent, and yet another bootlick lackey for the communist left, he is entitled to the presumption of innocence unless proven otherwise under our legal system.
And to be honest, despite Newsom's crime foul and claiming political harassment because he's considering running for president in 2028,
I just saw a news report that states the feds are not actually currently investigating Newsom himself.
As I see it, Newsom and his demon rat pals dominating California's legislature have long been evoled in legal-
have long been evoled in making legal to the greatest extent possible their corruption.
So it should be pointed out that while both these videos cite evidence of corruption, they also admit that nothing conclusive, at least currently, has been found implicating Gavin Newsom in any crime.
We will have to see what comes of all these investigations, but thank God at least someone is looking into the huge mess the Democrats have made of California.
Breaking right now at a California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom claims that President Trump and the DOJ are, quote, coming after him and those around him by trying to find a crime, his words that does not exist.
And what Newsom calls an attempt to intimidate him. Here we go. Listen.
Donald Trump isn't just coming after me because of my mean tweets.
He's coming after me because I'm considering running for president because he hates that I've consistently called him out over and over again for his lies and deceit.
Donald Trump is simply the most corrupt president in American history. He's turned the levers of government into his own personal power ministries to reward cronies and to try to jail his opponents.
So let me say it again. Mr. President, come after me. I'm not going anywhere in the country is watching.
Okay, so that is fresh sound from California, just about an hour ago now. No comment to Fox and the DOJ as of this hour a source there saying that there are several investigations into people around Newsom, including his wife and his former chief of staff
and they originate from whistleblowers. Fox News asking for clarity out of Newsom's office around what he means when he says the DOJ is demanding records that has not been defined will update you as soon as we get more word on that.
All right, so everybody's been asking you know, when is the Trump administration going after the big fish when they going after the big fish and understand some I've been saying this for over a year now if President Trump would have came in after he was elected, it would have immediately started going after all
of the bad actors, the commies, the LaTisha James, the Newsom's immediately when he came in, you and I both know the lamestream media and the demon rats would have used that against them.
They would have said he cares more about getting revenge than he does about fixing the economy than he does about the American people, not to mention the eight wars now to be nine with him bringing it in to the Iran war nine wars that he settled.
But now, now that things are stabilizing especially with this Iran debacle. Now they have time to funnel focusing on the wrong doors here on American soil, rather than the wrong doors on foreign soil.
And guess what, the spotlight is beaming right on Gavin Newsom. Now in this video, you're going to hear from Gavin Newsom because he did a press conference.
And you know the only reason he did the press conference is because he is terrified because the Trump administration they have got boots on the ground and allegedly there's multiple investigations going on right now into Newsom, his family, and his cronies.
Now he's somebody that loves to say, you know, I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere and Trump is coming after me because I stood up to him.
No, as you going to see in this video, the Trump administration is coming after Gavin Newsom is because he's corrupt. Allegedly. Look at what happened with the California elections.
They tried to do it with the mayor race and the governor race race where Gavin Newsom said they had a break the glass mechanism in place at the Republicans seem like they were going to win.
I'm just talking about accountability. Do you think Democrats will hold you accountable for standing by this principled neutrality by withholding your endorsement in this non-possible scenario?
Yeah, look, my focus has been making sure that doesn't happen and I've exercised, not just a focus, but I've exercised through some action efforts to encourage that doesn't happen by making my case and will continue to make my case.
I do not see that scenario taking place. I've said this before, so I'll repeat it. I don't anticipate this need to be the case, but there is a like break the glass scenario.
And there's many people that have a deep understanding of what it would look like if Democrats were locked out and we're going to do everything to make sure that doesn't happen.
I'll leave with that.
If you thought the corruption scandal in Minnesota was bad, wait until you see what's now happening to the governor of California with federal investigators closing in from multiple directions, his own chief of staff pleading guilty to federal felonies, his wife's charity under criminal scrutiny by the DOJ and the FBI, and now J.D. Vance, the frauds are himself with his crosshairs locked squarely on Sacramento.
The political star of the grease monkey himself, Gavin Newsom is falling and you're about to find out exactly why.
Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, your patron professor here to help you make sense of the madness with breaking news and analysis.
You're not going to get anywhere else you know what to do. Make sure to smack that bell and subscribe button.
On June 15th, Gavin Newsom went full panic mode on X where released a video announcing that President Trump had directed the Department of Justice to investigate him and his wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, over allegations tied to so-called behested payments.
Now behested payments are a practice in which Newsom pressured companies doing business with or regulated by the state of California to donate millions of dollars to Jennifer's nonprofit, the California Partners Project, in when investigators are scrutinizing as a potential pay to play corruption scheme.
Newsom, of course, did his best to turn it around to his own political favor, claiming that he is a victim of a political witch hunt.
Donald Trump hit the wrong target. We have nothing to hide.
Now, what does that remind you of? Can you see the finger wagging in the Oval Office? I did not have sex with that woman.
I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky. I never told anyone to lie. Never in my whole life.
I mean, it's patently comical at this point. This rabbit hole surrounding Newsom and his CD web of corruption apparently runs very, very deep.
Let's start with the investigation itself because here's the first thing you need to know.
Newsom, of course, is claiming this is a politically motivated witch hunt by Donald Trump. Again, nice try. Even CNN. Yes, CNN confirmed that this investigation was not initiated by Trump appointed officials in Washington.
It was started last year by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Sacramento, California's own capital based on whistleblower tips from within Newsom's own staff.
Grand jury subpoenas have been issued. Witnesses have been interviewed. Financial documents belonging to the Newsom family have reportedly been obtained by investigators.
This thing is real. It's serious. And it started long before anyone in Washington decided to make it a priority.
So what exactly are they investigating? Well, there are really two tracks here and both of them lead directly back to Gavin Newsom.
So track one is Newsom's wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom. Jennifer runs a gender equity nonprofit called the California Partners Project.
And here's where it gets interesting. Gavin Newsom has used a legal mechanism called a behested payment to funnel over $4.4 million in donations from private companies directly into his wife's nonprofit.
Now, a behested payment is when a public official asks private entities, often companies that do business with or are regulated by the state, to donate to a charity of the officials choosing.
Now, is it technically legal? Yes. But is it ethically and nuclear disaster? Absolutely. And here's why.
The donors include Silicon Valley Bank, the Pritzker family, Native American tribes, Blue Shield of California, and get this AT&T, which donated $185,000 to Jennifer's nonprofit, but then in turn received $260 million in California state contracts.
Comcast donated $15,000 to her nonprofit. And lo and behold, they received $20 million from the state. Kaiser Permanente donated $20,000.
And what do you know? They in turn received $172 million from the state. Are you seeing the pattern here? Are you seeing how this works? Pay to play, baby?
You donate to the governor's wife's charity. And suddenly you find yourself swimming in California state contracts. And all the while Jennifer herself, ha ha ha. She's been collecting man.
She's been I kid you not 3.7 million dollars in salary from her own nonprofit over the last decade, 150 grand a year, plus another 150 grand a year to her private production company, Girls Club LLC, for writer, director, producer fees.
So she's making $300,000 all this stuff, not bad. Investigators are now looking very carefully at whether any of this crosses into things like tax fraud or personal use in nonprofit funds or outright corruption.
And the California Fair Political Practices Commission has already fined the greasy Gavin Newsom $13,000 last year for failing to timely report over $14.3 million in behusted payments.
So at least at one level, he's already been caught. He's already been fined. And now the feds are treating that like smoke and looking for the fire.
And it looks like they found it. And boy, is it hot? Here's where track two of this investigation comes in. And it hits even closer to home.
This isn't ultimately about Newsom's wife's charity. This is about him. It's about his own office, specifically his own chief of staff.
In May of this year, Dana Williamson, Gavin Newsom's former chief of staff, his top aide, the person who ran his office, walked into federal court and pleaded guilty to three federal felonies.
Three. She pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bank fraud, wire fraud, and filing a false tax return. She faces up to 30 years in federal prison and over a million dollars in fines.
She and her co-conspirators were charged with stealing $225,000 from a dormant campaign account belonging to Javier Becerra, the former California Attorney General.
She lied to the FBI. She filed false tax returns. She fraudulently deducted personal expenses. We're talking like veterinary bills and home goods payments to family members as business expenses.
Now, what's so key to get here, this wasn't merely a staff member of Gavin Newsom. This was Gavin Newsom's chief of staff.
Again, it wasn't some low-level staff from the Parks Department. This is the person who sat at the right hand of the governor of California, and she just admitted in federal court to committing three felonies.
Now, of course, Newsom is desperately trying to distance himself from all that. He said he finds the news distressing in hard and that he didn't know the details.
But again, here's the question investigators are asking and beginning to probe. How on earth did you not know what your own chief of staff was doing?
How does this happen in your office, on your watch, and you claim you had no idea?
The answer obviously does not pass the smell test. So now enter the fraud czar. President Trump appointed Vice President J.D. Vance to lead the White House Anti-Fraud Task Force.
And Vance has been on an absolute tear. You may remember just a few weeks ago, Vance issued a criminal referral to the DOJ against Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison for their role in that state's massive fraud scandal.
And Vance has made crystal clear that California is next. The feds have already launched a criminal investigation into homelessness fraud across seven Southern California counties, the FBI, the IRS, and the HUD Inspector General. They're all working together.
Do you remember that $24 billion that California spent on homelessness programs with no way to track where any of it went? You remember that?
The DOJ has already brought fraud charges against two LA real estate developers tied to homeless housing funding. 70 hospices in Los Angeles were suspended by Vance's anti fraud task force.
You know, the hospice fraud scandal. And Newsom who vetoed bipartisan transparency legislation that would have caught these fraudsters years ago is right at the center of all of it.
Again, keep him up. Newsom vetoed the bipartisan bill that would have tracked the $24 billion in missing homelessness funds.
I mean, these are the actions of an innocent man. These are the actions of someone who desperately did not want anyone looking too closely.
And the voters are starting to figure it out because the deeper you dig into what's happening in Blue State, America, from Minneapolis to Los Angeles to Sacramento, the more you see the same pattern.
Money flows from taxpayers to the state, from the state to the cities, from the cities to the nonprofits, from the nonprofits to the politically connected.
And somewhere along the way, it disappears. Everyone gets paid. Everyone gets their cut. Everyone that is, except the people they were supposed to help, except the homeless people sleeping on the streets of Los Angeles, that all the money was supposed to go to.
And the people responsible, well, they call themselves compassionate. They lecture you about democracy and the rule of law.
And then they stuff the cash and their wife's charity accounts and veto the transparency bills that might expose them.
