The Global Freedom Report with Brent Johnson
Sovereignty, Truth, and the Struggle for Liberty
This broadcast of The Global Freedom Report, hosted by Brent Johnson, explores the foundational principles of individual sovereignty, historical narratives of resistance, and a critical analysis of modern government institutions. The program emphasizes the "birthright" of freedom and provides practical advice for living outside federal regulation while featuring artistic tributes to American history.
The Philosophy of Individual Sovereignty and Government Critique
Host Brent Johnson establishes the show's mission as a platform for truth and justice against what he describes as "propaganda and misinformation" from government and globalist entities. He argues that freedom is a God-given birthright that does not require government permission. A central theme of the episode is the questioning of government overreach, specifically regarding the right of individuals to grow their own food and the perceived indoctrination within the public school system. Johnson highlights the cancellation of a visit by the Secretary of Education to a Connecticut school as an example of "speech phobia" and the suppression of opposing viewpoints by school officials.
Historical Narratives: "The Last Trench" and the Declaration
The show features a dramatic reading titled "The Last Trench," which recounts the Battle of Fort Griffin in 1865. It portrays the desperate stand of young boys and old men against federal forces, framing the conflict not as a civil war but as a defense of state sovereignty and God-given rights against "Northern Aggression." This historical perspective is mirrored in the "Look at the Declaration" segment, where Johnson compares the 1776 grievances against King George III to current federal restrictions. He argues that modern federal controls on state laws and individual rights are "repeated injuries and usurpations" similar to those that prompted the American Revolution.
Financial Critique and Propaganda Analysis
In the "Lessons in Liberty" segment, the host critiques the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, characterizing the Federal Reserve as a private banking cartel rather than a government entity. He explains "fractional reserve banking" as a system of debt creation where Federal Reserve notes function as instruments of debt that can never be fully repaid because interest must be paid in "substance" (gold). Furthermore, the "Propaganda 101" segment analyzes the stock market as a manipulation tool, suggesting that the Dow Jones Industrial Average is adjusted by "propagandists" to maintain public control and the illusion of economic health.
Freedom Follies: Artistic Resistance
The episode features "Rebel Jack" Peyser, a musician and software engineer who moved to Pennsylvania to escape what he called the "mental prison" of New York City in 2020. Peyser shares his music, including "The North Bridge" and "The Green Mountaineer," which celebrate the Revolutionary War and the independent Republic of Vermont. His work aims to inspire listeners to "rise above the illusions of deceit" and remember the virtues embedded in the nation's founding documents.
The broadcast serves as a call to action for listeners to reclaim their status as "the nobility" and rulers of the country. By blending historical tales of sacrifice with modern critiques of the financial and educational systems, the host argues that the preservation of liberty requires a total commitment to truth and a refusal to compromise with "government evil".

[06:02] Speaker 8: And welcome back to The Global Freedom Report. I'm your host, Brent Johnson. And our question for the week, how do you feel about your government not wanting you to grow your own food? How do you feel about your government not wanting you to grow your own food? Why should that bother anybody? Hmm? 866-870-KRLA, 866-870-5752. We've long discussed how educators are instilling viewpoint intolerance in students from the earliest grades. The latest example is the cancellation of a visit to McKinley Elementary School in Fairfield, Connecticut by Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon. The students had the opportunity to speak and interact with a cabinet member, but the local school canceled the event due to what it claimed was political opposition from parents. Reports indicated that the visit, part of McMahon's History Rocks! Tour in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, was canceled due to a campaign by parents.
[07:33] Speaker 8: Parents supposedly rose up after McKinley principal, Christine Booth, wrote to them saying that the school was proud to offer this unique opportunity and unforgettable experience for our McKinley students. Students will enjoy a dynamic, interactive assembly that brings American history and civic learning to life through fun, game show-style activities, hands-on participation, and even prizes. This high-energy experience is designed to spark curiosity, celebrate our country's story, and make learning memorable for our students. Fairfield Superintendent of Schools, Michael Testani, folded immediately under the so-called political pressure rather than stand firm that the school is a place for different ideas and voices.
[08:24] Speaker 8: Following this evening's announcement about the Secretary of Education's planned visit to McKinley on Friday, we heard from many families, though none were identified by name and may not even have existed, who supposedly expressed concerns and shared that they were considering keeping their children home. Due to these circumstances, the Secretary of Education's visit to Fairfield has been canceled. Those so-called circumstances were the combination of claimed political pressure from unnamed and unidentified parents, who may not even exist, and a lack of principle by school officials. These non-existent parents and officials have taught these students a terrible lesson, they should not be exposed to opposing views or speakers. They are raising a generation of speech phobics that rely, that reflect their own intolerance and bias. That's what they're doing. And the thing is, we have no way of knowing.
[09:32] Speaker 8: Supposedly parents were outraged that their children were get to- get to sit, and discuss, and speak with, and ask questions of the Secretary of E- Education. What an outrage. What an absolute outrage. I can see the parents pouring in to object to that. But- but- but why is it the only one we have any word from is the vested interests Superintendent of Education? The Superintendent of Education who wants to keep everything the way it is, that the schools indoctrinate the children, they want to keep that. So, they have an investment. Why not tell us which parents, what parents w- Let's go talk to those parents, find out why those parents said, "No, we're not gonna give you the names. We're not gonna tell you anything except what we have told you." So the question is, do you believe them? You don't know. So the question is, how do you know it's true? Why do you believe it?
[10:38] Speaker 8: And is the school superintendent a credible witness to the alleged event of parents threatening to take their children out of school? What do you think? What is your opinion? 866-870-KRLA is the toll-free number. We got some exciting stuff for you this evening. You know? Uh, we will- we will take a, time permitting, we will take a- another, um, brief interaction with Jay Leno in his Jaywalking series. Very, very funny series, and you'll enjoy that. We have another look at the Declaration, another Pr- Propaganda 101. We have Freedom Follies coming up. And then coming up just in the next few minutes, you're going to hear the story of the last, or maybe- maybe one of the very last battles that took place before, between the members of the freedom movement, the, uh, descendants of those who fought in the War for Independence.... and the Union Army. One of the very last battles of the War of Northern Aggression, the War Between the States. I will not call it a civil war.
[12:19] Speaker 8: There was nothing civil about it. Uh, just for the record, okay, what happened was that Lincoln actually broke his oath of office. Lincoln invaded one of the states. That's what started it. That's what created the war. It was not about abolishing slavery, okay? It was about whether or not the executive branch has the authority to dictate what will happen in the states. And, and if you read the original constitutions of the original 13 states, you'll see they all said in it that we can, we can leave the union if the union no longer follows the principles that we set forth for it. Well, so, the idea that you can't leave the union is ridiculous. Now, Lincoln actually broke the law. But when we come back, you're gonna hear the story of the Last Trench.
[13:29] Speaker 8: It's a very disturbing story, but it's an important one, to remember that there are people, there were people, and I believe there are still people who will stand for anything to defend our God-given rights to life, liberty, and property, our God-given rights, not government given. And when you're faced with a situation where you have overwhelming odds against you, what do you do? Do you cave in or do you stand for what's right? Th- this is a story of a group of people who had to answer that question. We'll be right back with the Last Trench.
[14:26] Speaker 8: (instrumental music plays)

[15:03] Speaker 10: They're watching my house and they're tapping my telephone. I don't trust nobody, but I'm much too scared to be on my own. And they hypnotized my mind.
[15:23] Speaker 11: As they walked through the bodies...
[15:25] Speaker 10: They're keeping an eagle's eyes on me. Oh-oh.
[15:32] Speaker 11: Strewn throughout the overrun trenches, one officer could not help but comment on the composition of the dead lying everywhere. Old men with silver locks lay dead, side by side with mere boys of 13 or 14. It almost makes one sorry to have to fight against people who show such devotion for their homes and their country. Silver-haired men lay across the bodies of 13-year-old children piled in clumps or scattered individually where a last desperate stand had been made, the blood of both meeting in one final offering to freedom, liberty, and homeland. In clumps they lay, with bodies broken, mangled, and torn by shot explosion and hand-to-hand mortal combat, a last dying grimace of determination frozen forever on many of the faces, their blood now coagulating in clumps upon each other and on a ground that could absorb no more. These, then, were the defenders of the Last Trench. No ancient Spartan battled more bravely at Thermopylae giving his life's blood for freedom.
[16:33] Speaker 11: No desperate warrior struggled more bravely upon the parapets of the Alamo while shouting, "Liberty or death," to his last gasping breath. For these chosen few, now lying at the feet of the victorious foe, had died in desperate hand-to-hand combat when there was no longer time to load the weapons, no longer time to fire. Boys fighting grown men twice their size, old men fighting hardened soldiers in the strength of their manhood, young and old had determined to extract with their life's blood the last measure of resistance to the hated foe who now stood upon their soil in overwhelming numbers, warm materials, and arrogance. Mothers would weep bitter tears this night. Wives of many years would moan with grief, for their loved ones would never return from this last trench. But their death, their desperate bitter defense of all that is holy, would provide time for the southern commander to make his decision for the rest of the outnumbered forces to withdraw and live to fight another day.
[17:38] Speaker 11: These honored few, these children in rags but recently removed from their mothers' loving arms, moved even the hearts of their bitter foes. Now these children lie in death, wrapped in the arms of their fathers, uncles, and neighbors. These men and children showed by their courage and gave by their blood an example for all mankind to follow in generations to come when the stake is liberty and the prize freedom. Minutes before, 214 brave souls stood there staring intently while the stars and bars gently caressed the wind above their heads.... some 500 yards to their front, 6,000 battle-hardened federal veterans prepared to assault. Suddenly, federal officers could be heard shouting commands and men stepped forward confidently, looking sure of sweeping over the handful before them.
[18:29] Speaker 11: In the last trench, the defenders looked at the thousands coming upon them and bowed their heads momentarily to ask God to help them aim straight, shoot fast, and kill many, and yes, dear Jesus, take my soul to Heaven. For the God these men worship did not require them to turn the other cheek before the enemy of their people. No pleas to be spared were spoken that day, for this was their moment, their time, their home and loved ones they would die for. Eternal greatness had arrived. Looking up from prayers, young boys and old men glanced at each other in one last moment of reassurance that each would do his duty, fight to the last, and die with determined resolve. Then the terrible struggle began. Yankee cannon blew men to pieces, tossing their flesh upon the shirts and faces of their comrades. Lead bullets gouged gaping, gushing holes in the bodies of 13-year-old children, now become soldiers.
[19:32] Speaker 11: It was only with the greatest amount of desperate struggle that they were able to throw back the first assault. The last trench began to fill with patriots' blood as the heated destroyer of their homeland fell back to regroup and a brave cheer went up among the defenders of the trench. Young voices that in weeks before had sung in small country churches now mixed melodiously with the mature voices of their fathers' generation. As the men regained their breath, a soft-spoken southern accent could be heard drifting down the trench. While carefully stepping over the mangled bodies of young and old, a colonel offered encouragement as he moved down the line. His firm but gentle voice was laced with the nuances of a culture that was about to die. While later generations would mock his accent and trample his children's legacy, no Leonidas ever spoke fairer words or more firmly of duty, honor, and homeland to hard-pressed soldiers.
[20:33] Speaker 11: Suddenly, as federal drums began to beat the advance, he stood for all to hear and his soft voice now grew in strength. "Stand fast, boys. Think now of your mothers and sisters at home. Remember it is for them that you are here today. Be ready now, and when they come, give them your steel and bullets knowing that you fight for the liberty of your loved ones. Be prepared now and extract from these cruel invaders of our homeland a last bitter measure of payment for our soil. Look you to each other firmly now, knowing that we will all die here today as men who fulfill their duty. Eyes forward." Then, in but a few short moments, the second massive wave was upon them and less than 150 yet remained to stand against the shot and shell of the thousands. Desperately they fought, each with every ounce of strength he could muster, beating back the flood of foe upon their trench.
[21:42] Speaker 11: Unbelievably, as old man and young child stood side by side fighting with every fiber, gasping for breath, not even with time for the wounded to wipe the blood from their eyes, again they turned back the tide. Exhausted, out of breath, and with no hope whatsoever of relief, they were yet proud to the very center of their being of having fulfilled their promise to the commander to not give up. Once again across the carnage of this field, cheering could be heard, yet it was fainter now, softer, for there was not so much breath left to carry it to the ears of those in the distance. As voices of young lads who but days before left their mothers' loving arms united with those who long since buried mothers in a faraway time, tears sprang to the eyes of comrades. Hearts beat heavily, pounding with emotion for those dead and dying all around them who were giving the last final measure of their lives to their beloved homeland and liberty.
[22:42] Speaker 11: The foe, too, was no coward, and now aware of the mettle of those he faced, he stared at the last trench in growing disbelief. Federal troops regrouping but a short distance away left hundreds of their dead and dying in front of the determined men in the trench. For how could so few hold back so many? In spite of themselves and completely involuntarily, admiration began to spring forth in their hearts for such bravery as they now faced. Fear also raced into their being, not a fear of losing, for so many could not lose to so few, but rather fear of death. For they understood clearly now if they had not before that when the order came again to move forward, many more of them would have to die if they were to prevail over this valiant bend of resolute defenders. They were not so sure their cause was worth this sacrifice.
[23:38] Speaker 11: Unlike those who stood now in so few numbers desperately clinging to their positions in the last breath of life, the attackers suffered doubts of the rightness of their government's decision to destroy the liberty of those they opposed. Many in the enemy's camp thought to himself that death was to be avoided if at all possible, for they knew for certain as they listened to the now fainter cheer from the last trench that strength of numbers might, and power, do not make for rights. They sensed in their very souls that they were killing the best of this land.Once again, the command was given to move forward and take the last trench. 2,000 more fresh federal combat veterans were thrown into the attack. Across the field, with blood now dried upon most faces, steely-eyed men and boys looked one last time at friends they had come to love, comrades with whom they had shared their meager rations or huddled with shivering in the previous winter's snow.
[24:41] Speaker 11: The older men, their gray hair now stained red with gore from friend and foe, looked upon mere children who so bravely stood beside them. (beeping) (instrumental music)
[25:18] Speaker 9: This is where the truth matters. The Global Freedom Report. Don't go away. Brent will return in a moment.
[25:25] Speaker 12: A common law pure trust organization is the most powerful asset protection device available. Pure trusts have been around in the USA since 1790 when patriot Patrick Henry created the first one. Pure trusts establish ironclad protection for real property, vehicles, businesses, and just about anything else. A pure trust creates a wall of privacy over its assets, reduces personal liability, and protects property from attachment. Freedom Bound International has been creating pure trusts for over 35 years, and none of their trusts have ever been successfully attacked. Call today at 888-385-FREE. [29:51] Speaker 21: Hi, this is Ann Vander Steele, and you're listening to The Global Freedom Report.
[29:55] Speaker 22: What's the rule about following an illegal order?
[29:58] Speaker 10: You don't.
[30:00] Speaker 22: Any action you take in support of an illegal order makes you an accomplice of that order. You used to pose moral conflicts for us as part of our training. You said that soldiers aren't machines. They have to think. They have to decide if an order is moral or not. Well, what does your conscience tell you?
[30:20] Speaker 10: You can't hide from me.
[30:25] Speaker 23: 'Cause we know all about your spies. We've had enough of your endless lies. There ain't no way to hide your crying eyes.
[30:49] Speaker 11: The sun seems now to stand still as each one shares for one brief moment in time a final everlasting glance of reassurance, encouragement, and sweet bitter love. Their beloved flag, the stars and bars, now stained with the life's blood of three children who will never turn 14 and which symbolizes all their hopes for liberty, stirs to life at the sound of the approaching foe. 8,000 federal soldiers are now thrown against them. It is a tidal wave of men, bullets, and bayonets. Each so- southern defender knows that he breathes his last breath as he braces for the fury. Desperate scenes of mortal combat break out all around as the flood sweeps upon and over them, each man fighting to stave off first three, then five, then 10, then 20, each striving to exchange his life for as many of the enemy invaders as he can. Liberty or death has never had stronger defenders or greater blood to nourish it than that which flowed from those dying here.
[31:58] Speaker 11: Once upon the other, one upon the other, they fall, old upon young, young upon old. Finally, one last gunner remains, standing at his position with all comrades dead or wounded. Surrounded by his enemies, they demand for him to cease firing or die. In a brief moment of but a final heartbeat, he enters into the heroic annals of all eternity with the final words, "Shoot and be damned," as he fires off one last devastating round into the ranks of the foe. Their bodies have not yet hit the ground when his own comes apart from the bullets tearing through his flesh as he falls upon his discharged weapon. Truly here, April 2nd, 1865 at Fort Griffin, Virginia stood greatness. Liberty never before knew braver defenders. All grows silent now. 700 of the invaders lay dead and dying. All the defenders of the last trench are dead and, or wounded, and the federal officer steps forward to rip down the stars and bars, for there are no men left to defend the colors.
[33:09] Speaker 11: This officer serves in the Army of the United States. He represents the power and force of the central government. He rips from this nation more than a flag, but tears asunder the constitutional liberties of the people of the United States, for with the last breath of the defenders so too has that of the republic expired. The republic will be replaced by unchecked central authority, which as years pass will unleash a government upon the people that will envelop and choke not just the South, but the very descendants of the officer ripping down the flag. There will be no victory here today for those men who now stand over the crumpled bodies of the defenders, for unknown to them, they bought today with their own blood the chains that will enslave their posterity. America would descend from the lofty plains upon which it was founded to the bitter pits of involuntary service to the government's every dictate. That year was 1865. The last trench was Fort Griffin, Virginia.
[34:19] Speaker 11: You live in the fruits produced by the s- the pyrrhic victory for Washington, D.C. I, the writer of this essay, your narrator of times past, have brought you to the last trench so that you may know those things so craftily hidden from you before now and to announce to you that not all the seeds of those men have ceased to exist, for we are here. We fight for the principles of our forefathers; justice, liberty, and freedom from oppression. We see the brutal power of the foe, the guns, black boots, badges of federal tyranny, FBI, ATF, SWAT teams, and 10,000 corrupt government officials of a thousand descriptions have now p- replaced the federal officer holding the shredded flag. They stand to our front, once again gloating in their power, strength, and numbers, but know, reader, know listener, that they are weak, miserable, cowardly men, dogs fit only to lick the boots of our ancestors. We fear them not.
[35:32] Speaker 11: In all their strength and might they have not the power to make us quit the trench of liberty. Today's servants of federal tyrants cannot crush the spirit that resides in our soul from a thousand previous generations. It is a spirit that cries out for freedom for our children and liberty for our people. While today's minions of evil may rule from ocean to ocean, they will never rule our minds and hearts, for we are in the last trench and will not yield to the hated foe. For unlike them, we are prepared to give the last full measure for the principles of our forefathers. Police state enforcers are but mere slavish brute creatures, unprincipled men who fear dying for the unprincipled bastards who send them and give them their daily bread. Let them, the foe, close upon us. Come, we await thee.Look into our faces and see the defiance that greets you and know, know with all your miserable, cowardly fear that we will fight to the last desperate breath.
[36:46] Speaker 11: Many there shall be among you who will join better men than yourselves before the throne of judgment. (instrumental music plays) And we're gonna take a break but when we come back, I will complete this reading of The Last Trench and if you'd like to get your own copy of The Last Trench, go to www.freedomradio.us and then do a search on the website for The Last Trench. We'll be right back. And we are in the middle of a reading of The Last Trench, a story from the War of Northern Aggression, the war between the states of the United States, and it's a very touching, touching and inspiring story of courage and of fortitude in the face of a mighty enemy. We look across the distance now and see our enemy, and lo, as we look down this trench that we have dug with our lives, we see others. We are not alone. Others, like us, now look at the foe of liberty with grim determination. Stout hearts there are many, and they beat in strength with ours.
[38:06] Speaker 11: From the mountains, the valleys, from shore to shore, the folk will once again send its sons to fight for freedom. The Last Trench this time is filled with Northern patriot, Southern rebel, Western farmer, and American red blood from the Heartland. Each in his own mind has sworn liberty or death, live free or die, while knowing that the federal foe swears only in his profanity. Meet you now, ye tyrant's tool, the real men of this nation. This struggle knows no end. Its destiny will not tire nor its defenders abandon the sacred cause. Each generation produces anew sons of liberty. And lest women think that this excludes them, it does not. You are as patriotic as the men, and th- the son includes the daughter here.
[39:15] Speaker 11: To each and every foe of freedom and liberty in the federal government, let this message soak into your miserable bones: Your threats, your threats, your mistreatment, your unceasing attempts at intimidation, your arrogant abuse and slander of all that is holy, your raw brutality upon the helpless, your vulgar use of armed might upon the weak, your shedding of innocent blood, your rushing to a new world order of old-world tyranny, none of this will save you from the justice you so richly deserve. Understand, you miserable pestilence upon mankind, that we shall do our duty as our ancestors before us. Know that we realize that we are now in the last trench. So step forward. Come! Our colors await you. You need only take them from us. Blood, honor, soil, faith, and hope. Know ye, know ye them, enemies of liberty, that the last trench ensures eternal memory and glory to those who stand in it, while granting to those who attack it only a miserable empty death for filthy lucre's sake.
[40:49] Speaker 11: Come now, our enemies before us. Drink of this cup we have prepared for you, and as you in your brutish force move toward us, understand that while we are in the last trench, you are in your last moment. Victory or death, live free or die. And that, my friends, is the true story of the last trench, where these children and these old men... Oh, and by the way, the reason it was children and old men was because all of the adult men were dead. These were all that were left, and they fought a fight to remember and to inspire. You know, we're all gonna die. Every one of us. Question is, how will you have lived and for what will you have lived? When we look back and we say, "Did he or she live a valuable life?" Do you really believe that we're gonna look back and say, "How much money did he have? How many things did she possess?" When we look back, consider whether you lived a valuable life or I lived a valuable life. It will be based upon the character that we display in our lives.
[42:35] Speaker 24: ... character is what it's all about.

[43:55] Speaker 24: Nowadays, no one questions the fact that public education is one of the cornerstones, perhaps the cornerstone, of a successful democracy. Unfortunately, it's also the cornerstone of a successful dictatorship. As far back as 1647, before there even was a United States of America, the Massachusetts colony began establishing a public education system. But only 50 years later, over in France, Louis XIV, one of the greatest despots of all time, signed an ordinance requiring regular attendance at school. Our own Thomas Jefferson placed his hope for democracy on a growing education, for Hitler too knew there was no possible future for Nazi rule without compulsory education. Which is just a reminder that the word “education” can mean all things and anything. It can lead to free thought or captive thought. And whether you're a parent of schoolchildren or not, it's up to you as an American citizen to keep our system of public education democratic and strong. The schools belong to you and me.
[45:00] Speaker 24: Let's ensure they're good.
[45:06] Speaker 10: Let me tell you how it will be. There's one for you, nineteen for me. 'Cause I'm the tax man. Yeah, I'm the tax man.
[45:28] Speaker 8: (trumpet music plays) And welcome back to the Global Freedom Report. Prior to July 4th, 1776, there was no United States of America. Our republic was established on the foundation of the Declaration of Independence, written by Thomas Jefferson, inspired by the works of Thomas Paine and John Locke, rooted firmly in scriptural concepts. This sacred American document lays the groundwork for our society. All government laws, regulations, and the very fabric of America as a whole are based on the principles enshrined therein. In order to understand our country, our laws, our government, you must first take a look at the declaration. The American revolutionaries... The history of the present king of Great Britain- Britain is the history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having a direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world. The Declaration of Independence is a list of complaints.
[47:09] Speaker 8: The American revolutionaries realized that they were embarking on an adventure into new territory. Nobody had ever dared to try to break away from the king. It was unheard of, until they did it. The declaration was written because they thought such a drastic act should be accomplished by reasons, so that all who wished to know their motives could do so. It is interesting to note that with minor differences in language, many of these complaints could be applied to today's federal government. "He has refused his assent to laws the most wholesome and necessary for the public good." There is much that cannot be accomplished because of federal restrictions and/or controls that retard the growth of laws that benefit individual rights. When was the last time you remember a law being passed that favored individual rights over government safety or collectivist issues?
[48:11] Speaker 8: "He has forbidden his governors to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his assent should be obtained, and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them." The federal government regularly tries to stop state and local communities from enacting legislation and passing ordinances that are not in harmony with federal statutes. For example-"California's medical marijuana laws have been blocked by federal judges, as has Alabama's right to display the Ten Commandments in its public buildings." Or Gouda Spins, Kansas, that recently passed a county ordinance requiring homeowners to own a firearm and have ammu- ammunition for it. Unless federal approval is forthcoming, and it never is, states and local jurisdictions are often told that they cannot do certain things. This is precisely what was going on in colonial America.
[49:18] Speaker 8: "He has refused to pass other laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of representation in the legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only." Can you imagine a government telling its people that if they want to have available the basic necessities of life, they will have to waive their respective individual rights to re- be represented by the legislature? Believe it or not, it is going on in the United States right now. When you accept federal government benefits, you always sign an application for them, and those applications contain hidden, or sometimes not so hidden, agreements that you waive your rights in order to receive them. No kidding. It is true.
[50:15] Speaker 8: "He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public records for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures." Anyone who has ever initiated a lawsuit knows how difficult it is to actually receive justice. The government makes it impossible to file a lawsuit against it, sending the complainant around in bureaucratic circles until he gets so tired and it costs so much that he just gives up. It's not so different today than it was back then. After all, isn't that the greatest irony? If indeed we are today faced with many of the same circumstances that our forefathers faced, and many of the same complaints against government that they had, then what can we learn from their actions? What should our response be? And that, my friends, is this week's edition... of a look at the Declaration. We will have more and a look at the Declaration on a future show.
[51:41] Speaker 8: You know, it really is, it really is amazing. If you look at the Declaration, the complaints, and as we go on you'll hear it, the complaints that are listed in the Declaration are pretty much going on today. Oh, they might be, there might be changes to how they're being employed, but the same complaints that prompted the American Revolution are going on today. Once you realize that, then we'll end up going back to the principle that whenever a government becomes destructive to these ends, the ends of protecting, the God-given rights of each individual, whenever a government becomes destructive to those ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it. The people always have that, that final power. That's what I want you to g- get. I want you to grasp, this is your country, it doesn't belong to the government, it doesn't belong to the legislature, it doesn't belong to the executive branch, it doesn't belong to the President, it doesn't belong to the judiciary.
[53:02] Speaker 8: It's not their country. It is our country. We own it. We are the nobility. They are simply public servants, and they're very bad servants at that. That's the, that... Yeah, I can't say it often enough, okay? Because as soon a- as you, every one of you embrace the reality that you're the rulers of this country, then all we have to do is come together, all of us, and take it back. It's ours. All we have to do is take... There's far more, there're far m- many more of us than there are of them. The entire federal government consists of 535 people, four- 435 members of Congress, 100 members of the Senate, and 535... And a few members of the executive branch. That's about it. You think about that. While you're thinking, we're gonna take a break, and when we come back, we will engage this edition of Freedom Follies. That's right on the other side of the top of the hour break. We'll be right back. This is the Global Freedom Report. (upbeat music plays) .

[56:58] Speaker 29: With SRN News, I'm Mary Rose. There's no clear path to ending the partial government shutdown as lawmakers dig in over DHS oversight.
[57:08] Speaker 30: Lawmakers and the White House offering no signs of compromise in their battle over oversight of Federal immigration officers. That impasse has led to a pause in funding for the Department of Homeland Security. A partial government shutdown began Saturday after Congressional Democrats and President Trump's team failed to reach a deal on legislation to fund the department through September. Congress is on recess until February 23rd and both sides appear dug into their positions. I'm Julie Walker.
[57:38] Speaker 29: A strong storm system is bringing tornado watches and widespread damage across the Southeast just as the Northeast starts to warm up. Um, high winds overturned a horse trailer in Mardi Gras float in Louisiana. This is SRN News.

[01:00:56] Speaker 8: (instrumental music plays) And welcome back, welcome back to the Global Freedom Report, hour number two. (clears throat) I'm your host, Brent Johnson. O- And if you'd like to be part of the show, th- the number, toll-free, 866-870-KRLA, 866-870-5752. And now, it is time for another installment of Freedom Follies, where performing and l- fine artists, who focus on freedom and individual liberty, get a chance to have their work aired right here on the Global Freedom Report. Rebel Jack Peyser grew up in New York City from an Italian American family. Mom was a chemist and dad was a jazz musician and chemical engineer, who died before he was born. A proud Gen Xer with backgrounds in rock, country, and bluegrass, a degree in jazz, and the love of Argentine tango, it was songwriting that possessed Jack the greatest. He had a record deal at age 25 with an industrial metal band, which he quit right before the record was released because they didn't act right.
[01:02:32] Speaker 8: He then fronted two more hard rock power trios and produced his own CDs instead. He lived to write, record, and perform. Life was great, and the dream was real. To afford an apartment in the East Village, he taught himself to be a software engineer. Cool tech day gigs accidentally turned into a career, and he fell asleep in the matrix current. He stopped writing. Dancing tango filled the creative world, but he had forgotten how to dream. Fortunately, the universe created a dystopian nightmare to jolt him awake. When the tide of 2020 arrived, New York City was instantly exposed as a mental prison. Moving trucks on Jack's street were a daily occurrence, as the freedom-loving people and freethinkers fled New York City in search of some part of America that still valued freedom. Jack Peyser was one of them. In September 2020, he bought a house on top of a mountain in Pennsylvania and moved there to live among the free creatures of the forest.
[01:03:41] Speaker 8: Magical experiences, revelations, and synchronicities immediately appeared, and he was swept back into the dream. Dubbing his estate Rebel Mountain, Jack raised a Culpeper Minute Men flag of freedom above it, and designed it as his recording studio, film studio, and tango salon. Divinely-inspired themes and songs began coming to Jack. Revolutionary War era connections to him and his new land appeared magically. 18th and 19th century antiques filled Jack's home. The acoustic guitar found its way back into his hands. He found his voice, and was committed to using it to sing the songs of freedom, heart, and grit that have lived inside him for his entire life, to inspire people to rise above the illusions of deceit that surround us, and remember the powerful virtues and ideals that were embedded into our founding documents. Those ideals are real, but will only live if we remember to live them or die trying. Jack quit his job and launched his website and YouTube channel.
[01:04:55] Speaker 8: The first video uploaded was his rendition of the spar spa- S- Star-Spangled Banner. He then released his first single, Saturday N- Night Muster, on the 4th of July, 2025. It tells an imagined story of his real-life fifth great-fe- grandfather, who served in the New York militia during the Revolution. Jack believes it was his spirit and DNA that called him to awaken and led him to the mountain to light his path with the torch he once lit by asking once more the timeless question, "Will you dare to be free?" Rebel Jack Peyser, I'm pleased to welcome you here to the Global Freedom Report. How are you, Jack?
[01:05:42] Speaker 33: Thank you, Brent. Uh, I'm very well. Thanks. It's, uh ... I'm honored to be here. Thank you for having me.
[01:05:48] Speaker 8: It is an absolute pleasure to have you, for sure. H- Let's start off. How do you see the current state of freedom, or the lack of it, in the United States of America?
[01:06:02] Speaker 33: Yeah. What a question. Um, you know, f- freedom is, uh, it's ... This is a topic ... I, I would start off by saying that I think slavery is a choice, and I think it's important for us to, to sort of remember that. Most people might knee-jerk, uh, against such a thought. But, uh, a free man always has a, a choice to say no to, to the invitation to be someone else's slave. And I think we've all been enslaved by very many, uh, many different systems in, in this country. And I feel like ... It's like ... Th- the Bible actually talks about born into slavery. It's a common theme, and then you have to be born again out of your slavery. And I think that we're in the same situation. And you, you speak, uh, very eloquently a lot about one of the dimensions of, of, uh, slavery that we have to escape from, of, uh, unconstitutional over-regulation by the government. But, um, I would say that in, in our society today, there are, are many other dimensions that come into play.
[01:07:09] Speaker 33: And, uh, for someone to truly be free, we have to embrace a lot of the ideas that you talk about in, in our own sovereignty, as well as being free from, um, religious... Not religious, I'm sorry. Educational, um, indoctrination. I think, uh, s- there's a science indoctrination that's going on with... There's, there's the, the... Stephen, uh, Stephen Young is someone who wrote an amazing book, I think, called A Fool's Wisdom, where he talks about the different, uh, science, the different science ideologies that we've been indoctrinated with that are all based on these theories that are not actually true.
[01:07:52] Speaker 8: Uh-
[01:07:53] Speaker 33: And there's, f- you know, freedom from the media's-
[01:07:56] Speaker 8: Yeah.
[01:07:56] Speaker 33: ... uh, control over us.
[01:07:58] Speaker 8: Ha- Hang on-
[01:07:59] Speaker 33: And-
[01:07:59] Speaker 8: Hang on. Let me inter-
[01:08:00] Speaker 33: Yeah.
[01:08:00] Speaker 8: Let, let me interrupt you, Jack, 'cause we're gonna run low on time.
[01:08:03] Speaker 33: Sure.
[01:08:03] Speaker 8: You've got about 30 seconds to tell me. Okay? Before we start it.
[01:08:07] Speaker 33: Okay.
[01:08:07] Speaker 8: You need to tell me why you wrote The North Bridge.
[01:08:13] Speaker 33: The North Bridge was a, a melody had, that had come to me for... And I had hold- held onto it for about a year. And, uh, I always knew one day that this was gonna be-
[01:08:22] Speaker 8: Real quick.
[01:08:22] Speaker 33: ... some sort of an anthem, but I didn't know what for. And, uh, I had seen-
[01:08:27] Speaker 8: Well, let-
[01:08:27] Speaker 33: ... a video on-
[01:08:29] Speaker 8: Uh... Hang on. Let, let's hear the song.
[01:08:32] Speaker 33: Sure.
[01:08:32] Speaker 8: Okay? 'Cause we got so much time to the break. Then we'll get back and talk to you. The North Bridge. Listen. Go ahead. Travis. Travis. (piano intro plays)
[01:09:01] Speaker 33: Take good care of the children was the last she heard him say. They're sick with scarlatina and scared of death. That morning, Isaac kissed and left his love. And put his heart to test a day he knew would come. The morning started with a belfry ring that we heard. We saw the smoke rise o'er the town. Will you stand or let it burn down? We've gotta crawl across the North Bridge. They pulled the planks, but we'll cross over and face their fire, come what may. The acting men marched two by two while Luther played the wide cacade. With Francis flailing freedom on the trump. The first to die a hero's death, Captain Isaac Davis bled. A day he knew may come. When day had ended, he was home again. She saw him laid out on the bed. (piano and guitar intro plays) We saw the smoke rise o'er the town. Will you stand or let it burn down? We've gotta crawl across the North Bridge. They pulled the planks, but we'll cross over and face their fire, come what may. Huh.
[01:11:54] Speaker 33: (instrumental break)
[01:13:12] Speaker 34: ... the free ring that we heard. (bell rings) Fire, for God's sake, fire. (gunshot) We saw the smoke rise, over the town. Will you stand or let it burn down? We've got a call to cross the North Bridge. Pull the planks as we cross over. Face their fire. Come what may.
[01:14:09] Speaker 8: And welcome back to the Global Freedom Report. We're gonna take a break. When we come back, we have more with Rebel Jack Peiser and his original Freedom Individual Liberty Music. That's right here on the Global Freedom Report. If you'd like to join in, give us a call, toll free, 866-870-KRLA, 866-870-5752. We'll be right back after these words. (instrumental music) Don't go away. [01:14:49] Speaker 21: DOJA, the Department of Government Accountability. This is our citizen-led watchdog taskforce under American Made Action. We're exposing corruption in child welfare, family courts, and unconstitutional federal programs like Title IV-E. The funding that is shifted straight down through the Health and Human Services Agency into the Social Security Administration and directly out to the agencies across 50 states that are responsible for the separation of children and families. And through lawful notices, federal lawsuits, and investigative media, DOJA is holding those rogue officials accountable, demanding transparency, and restoring parental rights. [01:15:47] Speaker 14: My name is Earnest Hancock. I'm publisher of freedomsphoenix.com and you're listening to the Global Freedom Report.
[01:15:55] Speaker 34: I didn't tell you the truth when I said I'm not afraid to die. I'm human. That's why we have beliefs, so we can still see the right thing to do when we're blinded with doubt and fear. Our beliefs define us. If we lose them, who are we? (Singing) I'd rather die than be your slave. I will survive. Though you might raise. It's not a question of being brave. I'd rather die than be your slave.
[01:16:37] Speaker 8: And welcome back to the Global Freedom Report. I'm your host, Brent Johnson. My guest is Rebel Jack Peiser. Jack, welcome back. And Jack, I gotta ask you now. Now, uh, be as concise as possible, but tell me what you can about this next piece that we are going to share with everybody. It's called The Green Mountaineer and it- it looks like an epic ballad of sorts. What inspired this?
[01:17:08] Speaker 33: It absolutely is. Uh, this is a song that is based on a poem by John Wi- Greenleaf Whittier from 1828. It's based on a poem he wrote, and it was originally released for the bicentennial in 1976 by the National Geographic Society. And I'm doing- did a remake of it now- uh, this year, for the 250th anniversary of America. And it tells the story of the independent republic of Vermont that existed, uh, for about 14 years, from 1777 to 1791. And the Green Mountain Boys, the militia, from the- from the Hampshire Grants, that, uh, that fought off the New Yorkers that came and tried to take their land from them and fought off the British and was an instrumental group in- in helping, uh, win the revolution.
[01:18:04] Speaker 8: Wow. Wow. I'll tell you, when- when I listened to- when I listened to it when you first sent it to me, you know, I found it to be inspiring even though- even though I don't know a whole lot about what went on with Vermont at that particular time-
[01:18:19] Speaker 33: Mm-hmm.
[01:18:20] Speaker 8: ... uh, you know, uh, I don't know a whole lot about, but the song itself just really gives me the feel of patriotism, the feel of standing up for something that is really important. Let's give a listen.
[01:18:36] Speaker 33: Absolutely.
[01:18:36] Speaker 8: Let- let's give a listen and then we'll come back. Okay. Sit back and listen to The Green Mountaineer.
[01:18:44] Speaker 34: (guitar strumming) Come down with your britches of di- And though savage and wild be this climate of ours/ And brief be our season of fruits and of flowers/ For dearer the blast round our mountains which raves/ Than the sweet summer zephyr that breathes o'er slaves. Slaves, slaves, slaves, slaves, slaves, slaves, slaves, slaves.
[01:19:32] Speaker 6: Ho! Ho! All to the borders, Vermonters come down, with your britches of deerskin and jackets of brown, with your red woolen caps and your moccasins come, to the gathering summons of trumpet and drum. Come down with your rifles, let gray wolf and fox howl on in the shadows of primitive rocks. Let bear feed securely from pig pen and stall, here's two-legged game for your powder and ball. Then cheer, cheer the Green Mountaineer. Cheer, cheer the Green Mountaineer. Ha! Remember Guy Crowner Roque, and Long live Ether Allen. And ours are the mountains, which awfully rise, till they rest their green heads on the blue of the skies. And ours are the forests, unwasted, unshorn, save where the wild path of the tempest is torn. Come York or come Hampshire, come traitors or knaves, if ye rule o'er our land, ye shall rule o'er our graves. Our vow is recorded, our banner unfurled, in the name of Vermont, we defy all the world. Then cheer, cheer the Green Mountaineer.
[01:21:18] Speaker 6: Cheer, cheer the Green Mountaineer. Ha! Live free or die in Bennington, John Stark will lead them. We owe no allegiance, we bow to no throne, our ruler is law and the law is our own. Our leaders themselves are our own fellow men, who can handle the sword or the scythe or the pen. Hurrah for Vermont, for the land which we till, must have sons to defend her from valley and hill. Our vow is recorded, our banner unfurled, in the name of Vermont, we defy all the world. Then cheer, cheer the Green Mountaineer. Cheer, cheer the Green Mountaineer. There are deer- There are deer on the mountains, and wood pigeons fly, from the crack of our muskets, like clouds on the sky.
[01:22:51] Speaker 8: Wow. Wow, wow. Tremendous. Wo- wo- again, I hear that, you know, uh, "we- we rule the law and the law is ours." It's our law. It's our law.
[01:23:02] Speaker 33: Exactly.
[01:23:03] Speaker 8: It's us. It belongs to us. Us. You know? Just that, yeah.
[01:23:08] Speaker 33: The law is our own.
[01:23:09] Speaker 8: Y- Yeah. Yes. It is our law.
[01:23:12] Speaker 33: Yeah. This was, this was in their D- This was in, in their DNA, and, and, uh, they were ready to, to fight for that.
[01:23:22] Speaker 8: Well, and, and like I said, if you, if you really understand you have a gift from God, you're going to treasure it, protect it, defend it, you know what I mean? It's a gift from God. What are you gonna do with it? That's exactly-
[01:23:37] Speaker 33: Absolutely.
[01:23:37] Speaker 8: ... what goes down here. Uh, how, how do, how do people... I- I'm, I'm probably asking a loaded question here.
[01:23:45] Speaker 33: (laughs)
[01:23:46] Speaker 8: Because probably they'll all love it, but how do people generally receive what you put out? The type of music, the, the messages you're putting out? Do you tend to get people whose are inspired by it? Do you get people who come out and say, "Ah, you're a conspiracy theorist," or something? What do you get? What do you get from your audiences?
[01:24:08] Speaker 33: Well, I'll tell you, Brent, um, I just launched, as of July 4th really, my first, um, original song. It had, and I'm basically breaking in right now, and from, uh, I'm still getting, um, you know, I'm beginning to get people, uh, introduced to, to what I'm doing. So the reactions I've gotten so far have been, have been very supportive. And, uh, but in, in the general sense of, of when you're writing songs about freedom and talking about different, uh, new, different ways of thinking about freedom, you'll get a lot of different comments from different people. Whenever you're questioning the mainstream or reminding, uh, people to, to think about some of the original intentions of, of this, this country, uh, you know, you'll, you'll, sometimes, you'll, you'll brush up against people that have, uh, you know, different opinions about it.
[01:25:01] Speaker 8: So, so I wa- I wanna make sure I get it, www.rebeljackcountry.com. That's the website. Is that the best way to get in touch with you, to learn about your schedule, performances, anything else you're doing? That the best way?
[01:25:16] Speaker 33: Absolutely. R- yes, rebeljackcountry.com is my website, and on YouTube, I have Rebel Jack Country channel, where all my videos are released.
[01:25:26] Speaker 8: Rebel Jack Country, write it down, make a note of it, check it out. Rebeljackcountry.com. Jack Peiser, thank you so much for joining us this brief period on the Global Freedom Report. We wish you the very best. We need more people like you to call out-
[01:25:43] Speaker 35: Thank you so much, Brent.
[01:25:43] Speaker 8: ... the call of freedom. Thank you so much, Jack. We're gonna take another break. We'll be right back with more of the Global Freedom Report. (beeping)
[01:25:57] Speaker 12: (instrumental music plays) We'll be back in a moment. You're listening to the Global Freedom Report. [01:27:05] Speaker 15: Yeah, the morning commute definitely, um, uh, has good chances of being impacted. Um, it, oh, it's very likely to be raining by around, um, noon or so, and, and rain will be trickling into the area throughout the morning there.
[01:27:18] Speaker 14: But don't put the umbrella away.
[01:27:20] Speaker 15: We're still gonna have lingering showers that could be pretty significant, so we really won't have too much of a break.

[01:27:27] Speaker 27: Many investors lose money not because of market downturns or poor performance of the companies they invest in, but because they've been deceived and manipulated by bad investment advisors. What can you do if your financial advisor cheats you, or put your money in unsuitable investments? Here's investment fraud attorney Adam Satnick from stopyoursteal.com.
[01:27:46] Speaker 36: Unethical investment advisors engage in schemes like redirecting funds into sham accounts, convincing investors to sign valueless promissory notes, or even fabricating investment opportunities complete with fraudulent prospectuses and account statements. Democrats, I think, are probably looking at Tim Walz, and they're like, "We don't need the distraction of another failed Democrat."

[01:29:51] Speaker 20: Hi, this is Pat Shannon, author of Everything They Ever Told Me Was a Lie, and you are listening to the Global Freedom Report. (instrumental music plays)
[01:30:09] Speaker 8: And welcome back to the Global Freedom Report. I'm your host, Brent Johnson. Our question for the week: How do you feel about your government not wanting you to grow your own food? Do you, do you f- think there may be something underhanded, some insidious reason for that? You know, that the government does not want you to grow your own food. Why would that be? How do you feel about that? What do you think about it? The idea that the government does not want you growing your own food. How do you react to that? 866-870-KRLA. If you'd like to give me a response, 866-870-5752. Now, it's time for this week's lesson in liberty. The Federal Reserve Act was passed on December 23rd, 1913 during the meeting of only a handful of members of Congress who passed the law without the general membership having any chance to read the proposed legislation. G.
[01:31:24] Speaker 8: Edward Griffin's book, The Secret of Jekyll Island, is generally considered to be the best book on the subject.Though it is a bit of a difficult read. Still, I highly recommend it. If you are looking for the actual act, you will find it under the Department of Agriculture. The act, which is invalid, because it is unconstitutional, turned over the USA money supply to a private banking cartel. The Federal Reserve is owned by 13 banking families. It is a part of the government. It, it is not a part of the government. If you deposit $1,000, the Fed loans out most, if not all, of that money in interest. Now, it does not retain your money in your account. This is called fractional reserve banking, and it is a recipe for absolute graft and corruption by the evil banksters who own the Fed. So I want you to understand how this works, okay? I take a dollar and I give you a dollar. Now, if you look at the dollar bill, you'll see it is a Federal Reserve note. A note is an instrument of debt.
[01:32:51] Speaker 8: So when I give you that dollar, essentially what I'm doing is promising to pay you a dollar. The bill itself is not a dollar, it is a note. It is a promise to pay a dollar. In other words, by giving you that dollar, I have just created $1 in debt. Now, later on, you give me back another dollar, okay? So, what you've done is you have issued me a Federal Reserve note, an instrument of debt. In other words, you have just created $1 in debt to me. Now, the two debt notes cancel each other out. The dollar I gave to you cancels out the dollar you gave to me. However, what about the interest on the debt? The Federal Reserve Act specifically addresses this. It says that all interest shall be paid in gold. The banksters knew exactly what they were doing. All interest is paid in gold. So while your dollar in debt cancels out my dollar in debt, the interest remains and can never be paid by a Federal Reserve note. It has to be paid in substance. So, that is what the so-called national debt is.
[01:34:29] Speaker 8: It is a federal debt created by the use of Federal Reserve notes that unconstitutionally have been allowed, though it's invalid because it's unconstitutional, have been allowed to regulate our money, even though the Constitution is clear, only gold and silver will be money, and that's all. You can't give the power to a private banking cartel. So... If a, 100% of your income tax actually goes to the foreign bankers. Um, the IRS is a private, a private company incorporated in Delaware in 1933. The parent company is the Department of the Treasury, a private company incorporated in Maryland in 1931. The Department of the Treasury is a private company. The parent company is the Federal Reserve. So, the IRS is the grandchild of the Federal Reserve, literally. So 100% of your income tax goes up the chain to the foreign bankers who own the Fed, not one penny goes into our own country.
[01:35:45] Speaker 8: If we all stopped paying income tax tomorrow, there would be a multi-trillion dollar infusion of funds into our economy, which is currently being siphoned out of it. So, the Federal Reserve Act, the Federal Reserve, all of it, is a bunch of graft to get you to give a portion of your earnings to the bankers. Doesn't go to the government, goes to the bankers, it leaves the country. That is the absolute truth, and that is today's disturbing but true lesson in liberty. And, uh, if, if you wanna check it out, by all means check it out. Go, go to, go to the Department of Agriculture and look up the Federal Reserve. You'll find it. It's actually there. I have a copy of it. You'll find it. It's there. It's crystal-clear. You never would have known to look for it there. You would think it would be under Treasury. No, it's under Agriculture. And the Fed is real clear that any use of Federal Reserve notes is treated as a loan. Now, we use Federal Reserve notes to pay bills.
[01:37:15] Speaker 8: So, we pay bills, we create debt. Somebody pays me back, they create debt. A lot of, a lot of the debt created is canceled out, but the interest remains, and if the banksters ever decide to call the notes, they will come and take everything.... because their notes are what have created that reality. Now, the good news is they can't enforce it, because it's unconstitutional, meaning the law itself is invalid, and nobody needs to obey it, and therefore, they cannot make a claim and enforce the claim since it's based upon a fraud. And since it's based on a fraud, everything based on a fraud is vitiated. It disappears. It goes away. (swallows) You know, my, my wish is that as we go through this show, time and time again, you learn the fundamental message that your government is not your friend. The government is not there to help you. The government is not there to do things for you. The government exists to protect your freedom and do nothing else.
[01:38:39] Speaker 8: When you ask the government to do something else, the price is always your God-given rights. I believe that that is too high a price to pay, because the government is evil, Thomas Paine, a necessary evil. Government is fundamentally evil. The nature of government is evil, not good. Evil. I want you to get that through your head. I want you to get that so much into your essence that you never forget it, (swallows) because this is a war. (smacks lips) This is a war between the forces of good and the forces of evil, and you cannot sit out this war. You cannot say, "I don't wanna play." You don't get to do that, not on this one. If you do nothing, you are supporting the evil that is government, and you will pay for your support of such evil. (smacks lips) When I ask you the question, what are you willing to do to protect and defend your liberty, it's a serious question. What are you willing to do? Are you willing to die? Are you willing to kill?
[01:39:55] Speaker 8: Are you willing to do whatever is necessary to preserve your God-given rights to individual liberty, to independence? Whatever it takes. Are you willing to go out on a limb? Are you willing to risk everything, everything that you own, everything that you have, your job, the safety of your children, anything, everything? Are you willing to risk it all? Because that's the only way that you can successfully attack this evil. There is no compromise with this evil. There is no negotiation that will work. The devil will be happy to negotiate with you, but the devil doesn't keep his word. He doesn't tell the truth. So any negotiation he makes is destined (swallows) to destroy you, not to help you. (smacks lips) And when you add to that the question about the food, government doesn't want you growing your own food. Why not? Do you trust the government to make such decisions like that? Does it bother you that the government is actively attempting to discourage you from growing your own food?
[01:41:26] Speaker 8: Does it bother you, or do you think that it's perfectly fine? 866-870-KRLA is the toll-free number, 866-870-5752, 866-870-5752. What do you think about the government not wanting you to grow your own food? Bothers me. Maybe it doesn't bother you. 866-870-KRLA, give me a call. Let's talk about it. We'll be right back with more of the Global Freedom Report. We still have Propaganda 101 and Jaywalking coming up after these words.

[01:43:28] Speaker 40: Acceptance and gratitude over such gifts as healing centers and blue energy replaced by anger and civil unrest. Reports of rioting continue to flow in, and we've now received word that officials in Washington are scrambling to mobilize the military. Here on the streets of Manhattan, some citizens have begun stocking up on food, water, and medical supplies, dreading that we may be inching closer to disaster. As a result of this, some have sought sanctuary in houses of worship, praying for answers of any kind. In response to the rioting in the streets, some citizens have begun stockpiling guns and ammunition.
[01:44:06] Speaker 40: As one New Yorker remarked, "I'm going out fighting."
[01:44:10] Speaker 23: You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything. You've got to be your own man, not a puppet on a string. Never compromise what's right and uphold your family name. You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything.
[01:44:35] Speaker 8: Okay. Welcome back to the Global Freedom Report. I'm your host, Brent Johnson. Our question for the week, how do you feel about your government not wanting you to grow your own food? Does it bother you at all? 866-870-KRLA if you'd like to co- chime in, 866-870-5752. Jay Leno did a series a while back called Jaywalking. He took a camera, a microphone and went walking around New York City asking all kinds of innocuous questions of people and getting the most amazing answers. Well, he did a follow-up to that series where he took together, uh, a bunch of the best people and this is what he did. Take a listen now to Jaywalking with Jay Leno.
[01:45:35] Speaker 10: (instrumental music) The show you love, Jaywalk All Stars with your host, Jay Leno. (applause)

[01:45:49] Speaker 42: (laughs)

[01:45:59] Speaker 42: Oh, come on.
[01:45:59] Speaker 41: Define this word, inebriated.
[01:46:01] Speaker 10: You've been promoted?
[01:46:02] Speaker 41: You've been promoted.
[01:46:04] Speaker 42: (laughs)
[01:46:04] Speaker 41: Congratulations, you're inebriated on the job, you get a promotion. Who lives in Vatican City? Jessica.
[01:46:12] Speaker 10: The Vatican.
[01:46:12] Speaker 41: Are they like Romulans or ... Who lives in Vatican City? He wears a big hat.
[01:46:17] Speaker 10: Abraham Lincoln?
[01:46:18] Speaker 41: Abraham Lincoln.
[01:46:19] Speaker 42: (laughs)
[01:46:19] Speaker 41: Here's a fourth grade question. What should you never put in your ear? Paige?
[01:46:23] Speaker 10: Glue.
[01:46:25] Speaker 42: (laughs)
[01:46:26] Speaker 41: Kim, who wrote Handel's Messiah?

[01:46:30] Speaker 42: (laughs)
[01:46:32] Speaker 41: Kim, Nathan Hale said, "I regret that I have but one blank to give to my country." What is the blank?
[01:46:37] Speaker 10: Oh, he has one of? Yeah. One ball?
[01:46:40] Speaker 42: (laughs)
[01:46:41] Speaker 10: Oh, I'm right.
[01:46:41] Speaker 41: Olympia and Jodie, what does the DC in Washington, DC stand for?
[01:46:45] Speaker 10: The Capitol.
[01:46:47] Speaker 42: (laughs)
[01:46:47] Speaker 41: The Capitol.
[01:46:49] Speaker 42: (laughs)
[01:46:52] Speaker 8: Yes. Isn't it amazing? Some of the respon- ... No, these were legi- ... The, these were real answers that people gave to questions. That's the thing. Real answers that people gave to questions. I gotta tell you, it never fails to amaze me, never at all. All right. Now it's time for Propaganda 101. Propaganda is the manipulation of the truth to serve a pre-established political or economic agenda. Thomas Payne wrote that government is a necessary evil. Most people read that as meaning government is necessary. I read that as meaning government is fundamentally evil. Propaganda in economics. Let's look at the stock market. I remember a few decades back when I first faced squarely how the stock market was a propaganda tool. I think it was during the 1980s and the economy was not in good shape. The market was effectively crashing. Then for a few days, market trading was frozen. When trading resumed, the market had substantially changed.
[01:48:02] Speaker 8: At the time, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was the primary barometer for the market's condition. The Dow Jones includes 30 industrial corporations as its standard for determining the health of businesses. What occurred then during the trading freeze is that several of those 30 corporations were removed from the industrial space and corporations that were doing well replaced them. Then when trading resumed, suddenly the market was doing well. It was then that I realized that the stock market is nothing more than a scam on the public. The market does well because the propagandists want it to do well. That helps them maintain control over everyone, which is the ultimate objective of propaganda. The way to defeat propaganda is to always think for yourself and never believe or accept what the evil government tells you.
[01:49:01] Speaker 8: If you wanna learn more about how your rights have been undermined by government propaganda, get a copy of my book, The American Sovereign: How to Live Free from Government Regulation. Check out my website at www.freedomradio.us. Freedomradio.us. Everything you find there is designed to help you seek the truth rather than believe the lies that propaganda uses to influence you. And that is this week's edition of Propaganda 101.
