Ask The Angel With Rachel Corpus with Rachel Corpus
Base Reality, Discernment, Self-Love, and the Courage to Question
Rachel Corpus welcomes educator and spiritual investigator Huzefa Kapadia for an open-minded exploration of base reality, reincarnation, parallel lives, spiritual interference, self-love, and the role of discernment in navigating extraordinary experiences without surrendering personal autonomy.
Guest Spotlight: Huzefa Kapadia
Huzefa Kapadia joins Rachel Corpus as a fellow student of consciousness rather than as an authority claiming to possess final answers. An educator, entrepreneur, attorney, and digital creator, Huzefa is the founder of Scalar Learning and the creator of Pink Tourmaline, a channel devoted to questions about consciousness, life’s purpose, near-death experiences, and what may happen beyond physical death. Throughout the conversation, he combines intellectual curiosity with a willingness to question his own conclusions, helping create an atmosphere that feels less like a formal interview and more like a spiritual classroom where both host and guest are learning in real time.

Asking Better Questions About Reality
The episode begins with a viewer asking how anyone could know whether ordinary physical life represents base reality. Rachel immediately acknowledges that she does not have a definitive answer and introduces Huzefa as someone who is asking similar questions while gradually moving from student to teacher. Their discussion establishes questioning as a healthy spiritual practice rather than a sign of disbelief or disrespect. Rachel reflects on religious environments where challenging authority did not always feel safe, while Huzefa argues that every belief system remains vulnerable to incomplete information, flawed perception, and human error. Together, they encourage listeners to remain open to correction and to recognize that growth often begins when people feel safe enough to question what they have been told.
Defining Base Reality and Parallel Lives
Huzefa offers an evolving description of base reality using an analogy similar to the film Avatar. In his working theory, consciousness may originate in another Earth-like reality before projecting into physical bodies within this world, almost as if human life were being experienced through an advanced virtual-reality system. Rachel expands the discussion by asking whether reincarnation may have been misunderstood as a strictly linear sequence of past lives. She considers the possibility that different versions of a person could be experiencing parallel realities simultaneously, each operating under different circumstances or even different physical rules. Huzefa remains cautious but open, noting that human beings are conditioned to understand time sequentially and may struggle to comprehend realities that do not follow the same structure.
Spiritual Interference and Personal Autonomy
The conversation then turns toward whether near-death experiences, out-of-body journeys, remote viewing, and other spiritual encounters could involve external manipulation. Huzefa clarifies that he does not doubt Rachel’s ability to distinguish a profound experience from a dream; instead, he questions whether outside forces could influence what a person perceives during such states. Rachel connects this concern to discussions about walking into the light after death, reincarnation systems, archonic interference, and spiritual images that may encourage people to surrender their authority. She repeatedly returns to the belief that everything necessary is already present within the individual and that any spiritual construct demanding dependence upon an external being, place, object, or promise deserves careful examination. These ideas are presented as the speakers’ metaphysical perspectives and areas of inquiry rather than as settled or independently verified facts.
Are We Here to Learn or Simply to Experience?
Rachel challenges the familiar spiritual teaching that Earth is a classroom where souls return until they have completed their lessons. Drawing from her own near-death experience, she proposes that physical existence may instead be an opportunity for Source to experience embodiment through sensation, emotion, pleasure, pain, and limitation. In this interpretation, life is not an examination in which people are graded or punished for failing to learn enough. It is an experience of consciousness taking physical form. Huzefa contributes accounts he has encountered involving pre-birth memories, including people who believed they came to Earth out of curiosity, to answer a distress call, or after being persuaded by other entities. Although neither speaker claims to know the ultimate explanation, they consider whether curiosity, manipulation, and spiritual desire might all influence how incarnation is understood.
Discernment Begins with Everyday Honesty
The most practical part of the episode emerges when Huzefa argues that discernment may be strengthened through a personal commitment to honesty. He suggests that truthfulness with oneself and others creates greater clarity, while deception produces an internal fog that makes truth more difficult to recognize. Rachel responds with a candid story about telling small, convenient lies to her children when they were young and later discovering how deeply those moments affected their trust. Their discussion moves discernment away from abstract psychic ability and into ordinary daily choices. Huzefa encourages listeners to examine whether they would feel comfortable openly describing their decisions and to reconsider actions they would be ashamed or reluctant to acknowledge. In this view, spiritual discernment is not developed only through meditation or extraordinary experiences; it is also built through integrity, follow-through, and honest self-examination.
Self-Love, Self-Trust, and Spiritual Protection
Rachel connects honesty with the commonly asked question of how to raise one’s vibration. Rather than presenting the higher self as something distant that must be reached, she describes it as an existing part of the individual that becomes easier to experience through authenticity and self-love. Huzefa explains that this principle inspired the name of his channel, Pink Tourmaline. After being drawn to the crystal and learning that it symbolized self-love, he began to see self-trust as central to everything he was studying, including near-death experiences, remote viewing, out-of-body exploration, and resisting possible manipulation. Their discussion presents self-love not merely as positive thinking but as a form of spiritual stability—the ability to trust one’s own awareness without becoming closed-minded or dependent upon external validation.
Learning Through Practice and Direct Experience
The final portion of the conversation focuses on Huzefa’s visit to the Monroe Institute and his desire to experience astral projection or an out-of-body state firsthand. He describes participating in several intensive meditation sessions each day and feeling deeply disappointed when he did not achieve the experience he hoped for. In retrospect, he recognizes that his expectations were too ambitious for someone still developing a consistent meditation practice. Rather than treating the experience as a failure, he now views the emotional breakthrough and renewed commitment to practice as the most valuable parts of the week. Rachel encourages him to approach spiritual ability like a muscle that develops over time and shares suggestions involving yoga nidra, aura perception, meditation, and guided astral-projection techniques. The episode closes with both speakers returning to the value of patience, self-trust, curiosity, and continuing to learn without pretending to possess every answer.

Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
Hello, my loves. Welcome to the show. If you are watching this on Monday, I hope this day has brought you some joy and that you have been able to get through the day to the best of your ability.
I am really excited to be with you today. I have been doing this for a while, but having a new show takes time. It takes a while to get into the groove and feel good in one's skin. We are getting there together, aren't we?
I am especially excited about this week's show because I really like the person I have as our guest. I enjoy his show. I enjoy his temperament. I enjoy his grace. He is just a nice person - one of those people where you think, I want to be his friend.
I want to start with a question from one of our viewers. This viewer joins us from YouTube. By the way, have you found me on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and all the things? When you do, please subscribe and follow, because it helps all of us creators support ourselves, our families, and the work we are meant to do. Thank you in advance for doing all those clickety-click things. Thanks. Love you.
This week's question is from Greg in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Greg says, "Hey, Rachel, I am pretty new to all this stuff. I just heard your show for the first time last week. When I went online to find more of your content, I heard someone ask you about base reality. Can you talk more about that on your show? I am not convinced my life as I experience it is my actual base reality, but how would I know?"
Listen, Greg, I do not know either. I cannot tell you that I am an expert. I am just living my life and figuring things out as we go. But what I can do is bring in someone who is also asking these questions and moving from the role of student into the role of teacher.
When I was a pastor, I learned the difference between a disciple and an apostle. I am not a religious gal, but a disciple is a learner and an apostle is a teacher. There comes a point where we move from one to the other. The person I have today has the heart of a student and is moving into his teacher realm, while continuing to learn. That is one of the things I really like about him.
Here is how I met him. I gave an interview on another show, and I was talking about the near-death experience we have discussed on this show, where I was taken out of my body and was in a different reality. It is the pod story. I think the host of that show may have asked me the base-reality question, and I said quickly, without thinking, "Yes, that is base reality," because it felt that way in the fiber of me.
My guest today, Huzefa Kapadia, reached out after that to see if I would come on his show, because he had also been talking about that topic. He had already heard my story, and then I visited with him on his show. He is on the show today because he is going to help us pull this apart.
You can visit his show after this. He has his own channel and his own podcast. He interviews people, and he also has his own significant show where you get to sit with him and hear what is in his mind. I believe he is channeling, honestly. That is my humble opinion. It is good stuff.
Let me read a little about him. Huzefa Kapadia is an educator, entrepreneur, attorney, and digital creator, best known as the founder of Scalar Learning, a Los Angeles-based tutoring and educational content company devoted to making mathematics engaging, accessible, and understandable. Before entering education, Huzefa worked as a software developer, attended Northwestern University School of Law, and practiced as a patent attorney at international law firms.
He shares mathematics instruction, standardized test prep, and problem-solving strategies with more than 119,000 subscribers through the Scalar Learning YouTube channel. Huzefa is also the creator and host of Pink Tourmaline, a rapidly growing YouTube channel that explores some of humanity's most profound questions, including why we are here, what the purpose of life is, and what happens after death.
Huzefa brings intellectual curiosity, openness, and thoughtful discernment to the exploration of life's greatest mysteries. Here is what he did for me. Hold on to your parts for a minute. He is the person who was brave enough to ask me, in his own words, "Are you sure you had that near-death experience? Could it have been just in your mind?" That is a true question. He was asking whether, in that experience, I was sure it happened or whether there could have been some manipulation. He is not wrong to ask that. How do we know that what we are experiencing is true and offered to us with fidelity?
I think what I experienced was true. I think me being an angel is true. But don't you sometimes hear it and think, "Is that girl okay?" He was the first person in an interview brave enough to ask whether it really happened or whether there could have been interference. Brilliant. So let us bring him in. Welcome, my friend.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
What's up? What's up? Thank you for that. I love being here, and thank you for that introduction. I want to say two things right away.
You mentioned the distinction between disciple and apostle, and me as an educator, but also just as a human. I recently started pickleball, and I hope to always stay in the student mindset, because there is effectively an infinite amount for all of us to learn. I will always maintain that student mindset, even as I go through material and try to relay it and explain it to people along the way.
I also want to say one thing. You mentioned that I asked whether it really happened or whether it was in your mind. It was not that I actually thought it was in your mind. It was more the question of interference. That is the pertinent thing, because I think you and other people who have had NDEs or these types of experiences - whether remote viewing, out-of-body experiences, or anything like that - can distinguish between a dream and an NDE or a dream and an OBE. I have not had one yet, though I hope to have an OBE soon, not an NDE. But I trust people to decipher the difference.
The question I have been diving into lately is whether there could be external manipulation during these experiences. That question really hit me in the face four or five months ago, and I have been grappling with it.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
I appreciated that. I did not feel that you were questioning my character or my person in any way. I feel that it is so healthy that we keep questioning.
In my own life, there were years when it did not feel safe to ask questions at church. Or who do you ask? You love the authority figures, and if you ask them questions, will they take it personally? Then there are forgotten timelines that we still feel in a real way, even though we do not remember them, where we were not allowed to question authority. We were just told to eat the story. But to grow, we get to question. It does not mean we have to know the answer. Just having the question and wondering is great.
If we are getting manipulation, that is the first way into discovering it and getting out of it. It is the beginning of saying, "I want my power back. I do not consent to that manipulation."
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
Absolutely. I think that is fundamentally one of the biggest issues with organized religion or even with a belief system. William Buhlman famously said, at least famously to me, "All beliefs are flawed." That is not to say you cannot be right about something, but I think he is making a greater commentary. Everything we come to believe or understand comes through imperfect sensory systems.
I love the mindset of being open to correction. As intelligent as we think we may be, and as clearly as we think we are seeing or discerning, there is always room for error.
The other thing I think about when I talk about religion is this: I personally was raised in the Islamic faith. There may be exceptions outside mainstream religion that I am unaware of, but the inherent issue is that religions, by definition, are closed systems. They are meant to answer all the questions through one specific text or one pre-existing set of beliefs. To me, that is inherently flawed, because when you have separate systems that are isolated from each other and clearly have issues, contradictions, or incomplete stories, by definition they are not allowed to commingle. They are not allowed to say, "Wait a minute, I think you got it right here, I got it right there, and maybe we should merge these together."
Because of that, it leaves people stuck in the mud. It leaves people confused and without the truth, in my opinion. That is why it can be dangerous to stick to one faith system if it stops you from questioning and digging deeper, when we should all be universally trying to come to the truth.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
Then the questions live between the silos. You have the information that has been told to you, and whenever you have a question, you leave that building or belief system, and then you are in the mud. If nothing is offered there, you really are stuck. That can be a wonderful place if you have other people there and know it is part of the process. But if it is not safe, or if you are not told this can be part of the process and that you do not have to be there forever, then it feels like abandonment. That is where religious trauma can happen.
Speaking of base reality, because I feel like manipulation and having our power taken from us are part of it, before we get into all of that, could you describe your definition of base reality? What does it mean to you?
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
Let me caveat this by saying that it is an ever-evolving definition. I just had an interview with someone who has had many OBEs, and insights from Tony shifted my perspective a little bit.
From hearing your story and from hearing Intuitive Underground's remote viewing of base reality, I would describe it this way. If you have seen the movie Avatar, when they go into the machine and project consciousness into another avatar, that is effectively the way to think about base reality. It is another reality, an Earth-like place, an original Earth or original planet where we have bodies just like this. Then, for whatever reason - and there are multiple theories, but we do not know for sure - consciousness goes into some type of containers and then projects into this reality and into these bodies.
So base reality would be a place where the majority of, or the original part of, our consciousness was initially housed. Then, for whatever reason, we decided to step into something almost like a virtual-reality system, and that is what this planet is.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
We have this idea of lifetime after lifetime, the past-life idea. Do you think it is possible that it is not one after another, or even past at all, but more like you said - a version of us is in a physical base reality and can consciously project into several versions of us at once? Maybe we have misrepresented or misinterpreted that as, "I was here at one point, period, then I went into this file or this version of me did that, period, and then it was categorized into the library."
Do you think it is possible that base reality is more like an accordion structure, like a multiverse structure, and we misinterpreted it as the past-life idea?
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
Again, I am not an expert on this, but I have definitely heard two characterizations. One is past lives, and the other is parallel lives. I think what you are referring to is maybe reframing it as parallel lives - separate, but not necessarily one before the other.
I have heard a lot of people talk about it. I think there is merit to it, but it hurts my brain when I think about it. I think that is because we are so accustomed, on this planet and in this realm, to things happening in a linear fashion. Just because it breaks my brain a little bit does not mean it is not logical. It is just hard for me, as a person, to make sense of. Nevertheless, I have heard it so many times that I think there has to be some merit to the idea. Maybe they both mean the same thing. It might just be a matter of how we decode it.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
Yes. In past lifetimes, we were in a different avatar. In parallel lives, it looks like we look like this body, but there are significant changes. This version of me has children, and that version does not. This version of me is spiritual, and that version is religious. That lets me experience another version of reality. That version of reality also has its own rules. Gravity might be different, or there might be a different number of hours in the day.
I bring it up because I noticed it on my end when people started asking more questions about parallel lives and other versions of themselves. At first, it came up as entertainment, like when the Spider-Man multiverse movie came out. People asked, "Could that be possible?" It went from a sprinkling of conversation to now, where so many people bring it up. They are asking, "Could this really be true? How could I access those other timelines to help this one, or vice versa?"
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
That is such an interesting question. I wonder that myself. I had this thought and then later heard someone else repeat it, which made me think maybe I was onto something.
If our minds, our consciousness, or even our brains within this construct are part of the construct, part of the matrix or whatever you want to call it, it would make sense that if we can think something, it is theoretically possible, as wild as that may seem. How else could we be constructing it in our mind if it is completely impossible?
So if we are in the idea of parallel lives or different dimensions intermingling with each other, I think it is at least within the realm of possibility. Whether or not that is how reality is constructed, I do not know. But simply by the fact that we can imagine something, I think we should give our imagination more credibility than we currently do.
I want to ask you something that came up in my video with Tony from Insights with Tony. We talked about base reality. My understanding of base reality was informed by Intuitive Underground's interview and my discussion with you. Tony's take was different. He thinks the idea of base reality - the rooms you saw, and that Intuitive Underground also saw, with a building full of rows and columns of bodies in containers - could be a construct created within the astral or within the matrix as a simulation of base reality. I know that makes your head explode, because then you ask, "Where does it end?"
His theory is that it is another distraction or another way to keep us thinking, "Oh, we just return to base reality," while still staying stuck in the matrix. He thinks the way it ends is by refusing to buy into anything being offered to us. What are your thoughts on that idea?
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
I am not sure. What I can connect it to is what I am helping people with in the crossing-over journey. What has become very apparent in the last year is that not walking into the light is a really big deal.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
I have heard that too, over and over.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
Right. That seems like the new thing. It was totally marketed as the thing to do, but the idea being discussed now is that when you walk into the light, it can be the reincarnation trap.
I am hearing the guides say that when you leave your physical body and you are crossing over, the point of that journey is that whatever is shown to you, you are supposed to say, "I have everything I need with me already. I am source inside." They may show you beautiful things, angels, or family. But some people believe those presentations can be archonic attempts to have you get back into a reincarnation trap.
The whole point is going back into a separation game, where you are separate from source. If that could be possible, think about the situation with the pods you are talking about. Is that not also a separation? If you need to go into a place where your body is being stored in a healthy place, or you need anything like that, anytime you need something outside of you, that feels like it could be a lie.
When I had my first NDE at four years old, what was significant is that they said everything everybody needs is already within them. There is nothing outside of them that they will need. Not a word, not a token, nothing. The point of Earth is to remember that.
They actually said to me that Earth is not a classroom. It is not an internship. That got misunderstood. Source was so excited to grow that the first beings who came from source begged and begged, "Can we embody a physical body so we can feel what it is like to be physical?" So all of us here are having experiences of being physical, and of course those experiences are on a spectrum.
Somewhere along the line, we changed the narrative or changed the marketing and started calling it a classroom. I did this for years. "Earth is a classroom." But when we did that, we started the separation game too, because what is a classroom? Grading. "I am not good enough. I did not learn enough." If we go back to the original coding or original agreement, we are here to embody. Source embodied, and while we are in a body, we get to taste the strawberry. We get to feel the cut on our foot. It is all helping source feel what it is like to be source embodied with skin on. That is different from the classroom idea of, "You did not learn enough. Come back."
So to get back to your question, I think that is very possible. Any construct we are given where we have to do something, or where our body has to be someplace to be kept alive, whole, or young - I question that.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
There was another interview I did recently with Isabella Greene. She mentioned pre-birth memories that give different reasons why people came here. I do not know if you have heard of these before, but it is food for thought.
One person remembered hearing a distress signal from Earth and wanting to come in and help. She said she has been stuck here ever since. Another pre-birth memory described being in something like the Pleroma, the realm where spiritual entities were out and about. They met an entity shining with an amazing aura and asked, "How did you get that way?" The answer was, "I had to incarnate on Earth multiple times, and that is how I got this luminescence." He said he wanted to be like that and then felt he had been swindled into coming here.
A third memory was different. A person described being approached on the outside by three hooded figures, which a lot of people describe in NDEs, and being told that he needed to come. He felt persuaded and then got sucked in and has been here since.
So there are different mechanisms, but they all ended up here for different reasons. Going back to your point, one reason we incarnate may be curiosity. Maybe that is the general theme of incarnation, but in this realm - whether it has been commandeered or was always negative, I do not know - that curiosity may get used against us.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
Yes. It has gotten out of balance. It has perpetuated the lower stuff and honestly turned into a business model for a reptilian population and what I think we can safely call the world order, though that does not describe it accurately anymore. There is a population in deep shadow. We can call it the shadow.
When it became obvious that we had two ways of creating energy that worked for them - loosh energy that came from ecstasy or fear - and the fear was more delicious and more useful, they started to propagate ways to get that from us. As soon as they can get us back in by using our ego - "Oh, come back, you can be rich this time," or "You can glow like this" - as soon as we are back, we are chasing something. We are chasing fame or peace. Then once we get it, there is something else. "Now you have to chase this, or if you do not get it, we will hurt this person or that person."
Instead of Earth being a regular spectrum where we come here and experience the spectrum, it has become so out of balance because, honestly, it is a business model. That is one of the things we get to correct. People call it enlightenment or awakening. Fine. We can call it whatever we want. But really, we are going in as business consultants and saying, "We do not want that anymore. It is wearing us out."
Things like CERN, the Hadron Collider - I never say it the right way - closing down for four years gives us enough clarity to feel, "Oh, something feels different. I can navigate this now."
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
I know what CERN is. I have heard people talk about it in relation to the big picture, but I do not know a crazy amount about it. I know there are stories of it opening dimensional portals and things like that, but I have not dug into all of the specific stories.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
I do not know much about it either, except that they are studying reality, which is a wonderful thing. As they do that, reality has a lot to show us that we do not understand. They are opening portals and messing with reality in ways where, as we discover, some things are irreversible. They are doing work with the electromagnetic field, and it affects us. With 6G coming, we have a lot of heavy metals in our bodies. In four years, the collider will be turned back on and bigger.
According to what the angels say, this is a prime time to remap our lives and get our bodies healthy. It is prime time to rewrite some things.
I do not think Earth is base reality. I really do not. However, I feel like we are really good at creating things here. Whether it is base reality or not, some people seem to be better at creating their own reality, or their own matrix, than other people. I wonder if that will get easier for people in the next year or two, and if they will find ways to work with their coding. Do you think it is possible that people can start changing their lives in real time?
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
Let me caveat everything by saying this is just where I am right now. I will always be a student, and right now I am still very much learning.
I am starting to wonder whether fixing our lives, fixing the planet, or getting it to a paradise or utopia is like the carrot in front of the horse at the races. The horse keeps trying to get it but can never really reach it. I am starting to think it might not be possible, at least the way Earth, this universe, or this construct is structured now.
One reason is the food chain. It is not just the food chain, but if you look at how nature is structured, it is designed so that we have to consume and destroy. Whether you are a vegetarian or a meat eater, you are destroying plants, animals, or something else on a daily basis in order to survive. In a span of ten years, how many plants, animals, and things are you destroying and consuming?
If our aim is to save the world, fix the planet, stop war, or stop infighting within political systems, I wonder whether that is a fool's errand. As corrupt and perverse as the planet is in many ways, even if we fixed corruption in politics and bad corporate practices, we would still be stuck in a realm where, even at its purest, the cycle is based on consumption. Bugs eat bugs. Lions eat zebras. It is a constant consumption cycle, and it is inherently painful.
Whether you are being consumed or consuming, I think it is harmful to us on some base level. I am not sure we can move toward a utopia in this realm unless many of the underpinnings are removed, changed, or modified. I do not know how that happens. But if there were a complete reformation of how things work, then maybe. It would require a drastic change, like removing the predator-prey system at a foundational level.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
I know extraterrestrials are horrified that we eat each other, that we eat our friends. That surprises them.
But here is the question I pose to you. Is it possible that we are not working toward a utopia? Maybe we do not really know what we are working toward. When is the last time we met as a collective and asked, "How do we define this for ourselves and each other?"
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
We definitely do not know what we are working toward, and I think that is probably by design. Think about the core foundational economic belief of a free-market system, where selfishly driven needs and desires are meant to fuel the system. We have a theory that this is the most beneficial way for an economy to operate. I was not an economics major, and I am not an economist, but philosophically that destroys the idea of trying to be collaborative and really thinking about where we are moving together.
If you ask people, "What is all of this about? What are we going toward?" they may look at you like you are crazy. Then people plod along from one individual goal to the next until they reach the end of their lives and ask, "What was that?" We are still in our silos because we do not sit down together and ask, "What is the bigger picture - not just for me, but for us as a collective?"
Unfortunately for us, and fortunately for the powers that be, we do not sit down and think about where we should be going together.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
I do not think we even have the way to do that anymore. We have lost the process to sit down and talk to each other. Not everybody, but with COVID separating people, mistrust, AI making us wonder what is true, politics making us wonder what is true - all of it builds mistrust. Healing needs to happen over the next couple of years. I hope it does, because at some point we have to look at each other and say, "How do we define peace? How do we define success? How do we define these things together as a collective?"
We are defining it by default. These things are happening by default. But when we do not do them actively, something else can come in and guide for us. That is when we lose our autonomy.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
I think an important part of the equation is all the lies and deception. It is in politics. We see that front and center. But it is everywhere. Any advertisement you turn on television is full of lies. It is crazy when you step back and think about how blatant it is.
How do we cut through the lies? No matter how well a lie is constructed, fabricated, or created, there are always holes. It will never fully meet and come in a complete circle. We can always pick it apart and break it down. That gives truth-seekers an advantage.
The thing that helps us get through the nonsense and get to the truth is discernment. Discernment is more important than intelligence, and maybe more important than anything I can think of. My current theory is that there are several different laws - the law of resonance is one - that point to the same idea. Your discernment, your ability to tell lies from truth, is strengthened by your own commitment to being honest with other people, honest with yourself, and honest in general.
The more we do that, the more it is like vibrational alignment that allows us to see clearly. The more deceptive we are, the more fog or haze gets placed in front of us, and that disables discernment.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
It becomes easy. I started lying when my kids were little. I am not a liar, but when my kids were little, it became easy. It would roll off the tongue. If they wanted to go get ice cream and it was inconvenient or we did not have the money, I would say, "Oh, they are closed." There was no reason for that. I am sure I did it because there was shame if we did not have the money, or because I did not want to hurt their feelings, but it was not right. Then it became easy.
My kids are a senior in high school and going to college now, and they remember that. When one of my children asks me to watch a movie and I say, "I cannot right now, but I can tomorrow," sometimes he says, "Are you sure? Are you lying?" Ouch. It takes a long time to rebuild. It is so easy to break that trust, and it takes so much work to rebuild.
Culturally and collectively, we have a lot of that to do for each other. That stuff can roll off the tongue so easily because it is convenient.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
It is so true. I do not think this means we are bad people. I think we are victims of a mindset that has been pushed upon us, where everything else is deceptive, so in the grand scheme of things what you described feels minuscule. But I think it messes up something within us.
I have seen this too. My parents are great, phenomenal people, but I have seen them do this with my little niece and nephew. They will say, "We will go tomorrow," and I think, "But we will not, though." It means something.
Another way to help yourself is with daily micro-decisions. Do not do things that, if asked about later, you would be uncomfortable relaying. Even if it is minor, ask, "Am I proud of what I am doing? Am I comfortable telling other people about it?" If yes, do it. If not, maybe rethink it. Approaching day-to-day decisions like that can help us lead better lives. I am not saying this because people have a duty and are terrible if they fail. Really, this is for yourself. It can help you become a stronger person.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
I wonder if it also helps with what people are always asking: "How can I raise my vibration? How can I get to that place where I feel I am meeting with the fifth-dimensional me or the seventh-dimensional me?" I find that to be a really interesting question because that higher-dimensional you is already you. You are already that. You get to experience that fully source you whenever you fall in love with yourself, whenever you own yourself authentically. Doing things like what you described - really looking at your choices and owning them honestly - will raise your vibration.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
I think so too. By the way, you mentioned self-love and falling in love with yourself. That is where the name of my channel comes from: this gem I wear around my neck, pink tourmaline.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
Tell us more.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
I was at a crystal shop, and I knew nothing about pink tourmaline. Pink is my favorite color. I wanted to wear something around my neck, but there were so many crystals. I asked, "How do I pick?" They said, "Just let it pick you. Go to it." This one called to me. I said, "This is cool." They told me it was pink tourmaline and that it represents self-love.
The more I have gotten into learning about NDEs, out-of-body experiences, remote viewing, and the nature of reality, the more I feel self-love is at the core of everything. Even not listening to manipulative forces comes down to trusting yourself and loving yourself. So it became an emblem for this entire journey. When I was thinking of a name for the channel, I thought, what better than pink tourmaline - my favorite color and a gem that represents possibly the most powerful and important thing you could try to ascertain. Thus, the name Pink Tourmaline was born.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
I like it. You have a lot of that color in your auric field too.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
I was thinking that, but I do not know. I have never been able to see that type of stuff - at least not yet. Maybe one day.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
May I share something from your guides?
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
Sure.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
They are noticing that when you connect with the auric field - and this will probably help a lot of us listening who do not feel like we can see auras yet - you can intuit them. When you want to see your aura, or the aura of anyone or anything else, stare at it. You could stare at yourself on a Zoom call or in the mirror, then close your eyes as if you are looking at a photo negative and feel what color you are. Feel the colors. Intuit the colors. They will just pop in.
There are times when I look at you and see the white outline around your hairline and shoulders. When I let my eyes go fuzzy, that is when I see the first pink show up, and then there are more colors around that.
There are both ways. Seeing spirit is not my main gift. It just shows up once in a while when I am with the right person who matches that vibe. You are obviously one of those people I can match with. It is not that I can see auras all the time, but I can see yours, which means you would be able to see yours too.
Practice looking at a neutral-colored wall. Put your hand out there and let your eyes go fuzzy.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
I will try that. I never really tried it before. I tried it for a second right now, but this is probably not the best time. I will write that down and give it a shot tonight.
This connects to discernment and strengthening discernment. I just said I am going to try it tonight, so I have to try it tonight. Otherwise, I have said something that is not true. It is even those little things. You say you are going to call someone, and then you do not. Nobody is perfect, and I am not blaming people if they fail, but I have been trying to remember what I said and follow through.
By the way, can I say something funny? That Daily Oracle book you have on your desk - I have that upstairs in my house. I got it as a gift a couple of years ago.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
I really like it. It reminds me of when I was a kid and I would say to God or Jesus, "If you are real, I am going to open this book and put my finger down, and you tell me what you want me to know." I would put my finger down and really believe they were talking to me. They probably were. So I like this book because I can open it and get a message.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
For those who do not know the book, that is what is cool about The Daily Oracle. Every day, you open to a random page and read what the oracle is.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
This is by Jerico Mandybur. It is lovely. I think I got it at a gift shop. You can get it in metaphysical shops, but it surprised me where I found it.
Let me connect with your energy for a minute. I will also say this message is for anyone watching as well, because spirit knows how to do that. It is for you and anyone else, no matter when they watch it.
[Pause.]
They said, "This is the sign you have been waiting for."
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
Interesting. Do you think they mean this podcast or this moment?
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
This sign. There is a glyph here, a triangle with a seeing eye in it. You can look at this more in your book. I want to show everyone. Something I know about this symbol is that it is a doorway for your third eye.
So if you have been saying, "I am ready for these gifts to come online," or "I am ready for the cue," hello.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
That lines up exactly, because I just went to the Monroe Institute and worked on that.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
I want to know everything. Why did you go there? For people who do not know, what is the Monroe Institute?
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
The Monroe Institute is a place that pioneered deep states of meditation. It was begun by Robert Monroe, who worked with the military and the government in areas like astral projection and remote viewing. They use special sound technologies to get your brain into deeper states of meditation - Delta, Theta waves, and things like that.
For a week, we did meditation practices, four or five different practices a day, with headphones on while lying in bed units. Then we would come downstairs and discuss, and then repeat. It was very intense. We stayed off our technology devices to be fully immersed.
My big objective was to have an OBE during that week. That was more ambitious than I realized. I did not have one. A lot of other people did, but some of us did not. I was one who did not, and I was really disappointed. Now I realize that it was too big of an ambition for someone like me who has not had a long-term deep meditation practice. It takes time, just like martial arts.
When the documentary comes out, people will see that I broke down and was sobbing, because this is so important to me in my life right now. I am trying to learn information and share it with people. I thought I was going to have that opening that week and be more effective at conveying this information. It did not happen, and it was heartbreaking at the time. But that breakdown was probably the most important thing that happened to me during that week-long course. I have taken away from it that I need to build a deep meditation practice and keep going.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
Work that muscle.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
Exactly.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
Remote viewing is something I have heard the angels say we can all do.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
I believe that too.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
You had a chance to do something that helped you remember it and bring that gift back online.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
Joe McMoneagle, one of the biggest pioneers in remote viewing, was there. They brought him in as a surprise. We all knew who he was and were big fans. He said we can all do this. We just have to practice and work on bringing that ability out.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
And trust yourself that you can do it.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
Yes.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
I have been remote viewed before.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
Oh, yeah?
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
I saw them in my bedroom. I know how to remote view, and I do not know if that is why I could see them, but I was not high and I was not asleep. They were definitely there, and they did not see me. They did not know that I could see them, which was weird. Maybe that was because I pretended I had my eyes closed. Remote viewing is fascinating to me. How do you think you are going to use it?
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
Remote viewing is related, but what I am really seeking is more an out-of-body experience or astral projection. I want to explore. I want to see the upper realms of the astral. I want to see, with my own eyes and senses, what this whole matrix is that we are in. I want to see whether entities try anything. I want to test my discernment firsthand and share that with people.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
Something that really helped me when I was first traveling out of my body was yoga nidra.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
I have heard good things.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
That really helped me. I have autism and ADHD, so I can be really busy in my body. Having a guide on YouTube help me put my body to sleep while staying awake was really nice. There are a lot of guided meditations on YouTube that start with yoga nidra and then go to astral projection. There is a guide named Rosalie who does the rope technique. You might look for that. I really like her.
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
Yeah.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
Listen, my friend, it has been such a pleasure to have you on. I really loved being on your show as well. You are doing wonderful things, and I hope you will come back and talk with us again. I love to pick your brain. It was great to have you here. How can people get ahold of you?
Speaker 3 - Huzefa Kapadia:
The best way is to check out my YouTube channel, Pink Tourmaline. Just search Pink Tourmaline on YouTube. You can also follow me on Instagram, Pink Tourmaline, Huzefa on Instagram. That is especially useful if you want to connect with me and send me video ideas or things to check out or review. I do a lot of video walkthroughs and reviews of NDEs, different interviews, and things like that. If you have an idea for me, you can send it that way.
Speaker 2 - Rachel Corpus:
Great. Thank you so much, brother. It was great to have you on the show. And everyone else, thank you for joining me tonight. I hope you have the best week whenever you are catching this show. There are a couple of learning opportunities with me coming up soon, so check my website.
I love you so much. I hope you remember that you are spirit in body. You can do this life. You can. I am with you. And remember, keep that halo straight. See you next time.
Speaker 1 - Outro/Theme Voice:
[Closing theme song plays.]
To the other side, ask the angel.
Come on, ask away.
Ghost lights, pets, and past lives,
all on the show today.
Ask the angel, nothing is too bizarre.
Your soul has questions, and we have stars.
She will bring the love.
She will bring the wings.
She will bring the truth with a little swing.
Ask the angel, turn the volume high.
Heaven just walked in with the twinkle in its eye.
