Det David Love and Dr Lana Love speak to Gary Leigh Author of "I am the Phoenix" and noted blog writer for Psychic Empaths

Gary Leigh is the author of I am the Phoenix and blog writer for the "Psychic Empaths"

“I am an Empath who has experienced and studied what it means to be one."

On my blog (areyouanempath.com), you will find my personal experiences, thoughts and ponderings.

I have spent a good part of my life working to help empaths all over the world.

This blog covers the following subjects:

- Depression and methods to heal depression

- Empaths

- Bach Flower Remedies

- The psychic side of being an Empath

- Channeled writings on subjects such as empathy

- The Hidden Astral World series written by guest blogger Omen (who has more knowledge   and experience in such things than I’ve ever seen.)

- Plus much more

I tend to post at least twice a week so if you wish to be kept up to date, please subscribe. (I used to post daily but realized few could really keep up.)

For those who are wondering who I am, and what my sources are, I will say that I’ve been a student of the esoteric nearly all my life. I’ve studied extensively on many different subjects, including philosophies such as Taoism and Buddhism. I’ve studied Bach Flower Remedies intensively since 1994, and have made quite a few discoveries in regards to them. My main focus is soul healing and giving people’s power back to them.

I became aware that I was an empath in the late 1990s. I would mention it to people, and they would always ask, what is an empath? Eventually, I decided to write up an explanation on the web (circa 2002) because there just wasn’t anything around on that subject back then. All my work and thoughts are my own. I have lived most of what I write about, and I have a deep understanding of what it is like to be an empath, suffer through depression, and what can be done to heal.

Feel free to e-mail me at xeraphax@gmail.com.  I will respond to all e-mails, generally pretty quickly. If you don’t get a response, it means something has gone wrong.

As a 501(C)3, the mission of Holly’s Gift will be to provide Framingham, Massachusetts area women with a marketable skill set, educational Virtual Assistant training and certification so that they can support themselves upon release from a sober living facility.

Shamans Keep Guest, Malidoma Some January 11, 2013
West African Elder, Author, Teacher, Village Representative, Ancient Wisdom Teacher, Visionary, Keynote Speaker, Workshop Leader, Retreat Facilitator, Trainer

Malidoma Patrice Some´ Phd., West African Elder, author and teacher, as representative of his village in Burkina Faso, West Africa, has come to the west to share the ancient wisdom and practices which have supported his people for thousands of years.

It is possible that we have been brought together at this time because we have profound truths to teach each other. Toward that end, I offer the wisdom of the African ancestors so that Westerners might find the deep healing they seek.

The spark of this ancestral flame, which I have brought to the land of the stranger, is now burning brightly. Increasingly, I have been and will be encouraging westerners to embody these traditions as a testimony to the indigenous capacity to assert itself with dignity in the face of modernity. In this way the ancestors will know that this medicine has found a true home- that it is more than an honored guest.

At this critical time in history, the earth’s people are awakening to a deep need for global healing. African wisdom, so long held secret, is being called on to provide tools to enable us to move into a more peaceful and empowered way of being, both within ourselves, and within our communities. The indigenous spirit in each of us is calling for cleansing and reconciliation. The ancestors are responding. – Malidoma

These programs detailed here are some of those most often requested when Malidoma’s teaching and facilitation are invited into a community. Malidoma’s indigenous wisdom is equally applicable to individuals, families, communities and corporate organizations, and we look forward to opportunities for collaborative enterprises committed to manifesting the visions that the spirit world is calling forth. If you are considering inviting Malidoma to be a keynote speaker, workshop leader, retreat facilitator and/or trainer, please contact the office for further information and support.

Affirmations For Living Guest, Keidi Keating January 03, 2013
Writer, Columnist, Author, Publisher

Better known as The Word Queen, I have been a professional writer since the age of seventeen, initially for local newspapers, before progressing to corporate publications and magazines. I have even written for OK magazine!

I now spend my time writing and publishing books which empower people and spread Loving and Light to the world.

I grew up on the edge of a council estate in south east London in a quiet street called Thorn Close which I never liked the name of much.

I lived in that four bedroom semi for the first eighteen years of my life before I moved out and bought my first flat in Dartford. I rented out my spare room to a varied collection of tenants before I sold it in order to move to Spain at the age of 23.

My favourite pastime as a child was reading and I would go to the library with my mum and take out the maximum number of books allowed, then go home and read them all within a couple of hours. I was a true bookworm!

I also loved to write and when I wasn’t reading, I could often be found sitting on the kitchen floor penning a cute little story while my mum worked through a pile of ironing.

Growing up, I collected furry toys and the two that never left my side were my pink frog, Pinkie, and my hand-knitted gollywog, Jolly. I still have Pinkie today but unfortunately, little by little, Jolly fell to pieces and couldn’t be salvaged.

As an adult I have an over-active imagination, a positive outlook on life, and I adore rainbows, stars, hearts, flowers, butterflies, and anything else which involves Love, Light, and beauty.

Shamans Keep Guest, Marlise Wabun Wind December 21, 2012
Author, Jounalist, Cross Cultural Healer, Regenerative Healing Researcher, Lecturer, Novelist

Marlise Wabun Wind, M.S., is the author of ten non-fiction books, with over two million copies in print worldwide in many languages. She holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in international communications from George Washington University. She is a lifelong student of cross-cultural healing, complementary and holistic medicine, and wellness. One of her books is about integrative healing, and several others are about cross-cultural healing techniques, comparative philosophies, religions and spirituality.

Ms. Wind was searching for an alternative to the surgical treatments for an arthritic ankle when she was referred to Dr. Shiple, and it was through him that she learned about RIT and underwent successful treatment. Her enthusiasm over the results of her experience led her to collaborate with Dr. Shiple on Regenerative Healing For Life.

Because of her own knowledge of the physical limitations of other illnesses, and pain, Ms. Wind has become an advocate for RIT and related non-invasive treatments. She has lectured widely on topics related to integrative healing, complementary and holistic medicine, and wellness.

She is currently working on several other projects, including a novel and a spiritual adventure memoir, as well as four other non-fiction titles concerning ceremony and celebrations, relationships, parenting healthy children, and “mother sense.”

He also writes extensively on Hawaiian culture and is a novelist as well. Critics describe his style as "practical, down-to-earth, and easy to grasp." His academic background includes a Ph.D. in psychology from California Coast University, a Master's degree in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Arizona, and a Bachelor's degree in Asian Studies from the University of Colorado, where he also became a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He organized, funded and administered school lunch programs, nutrition education programs, agricultural development programs, social services programs, leprosy treatment programs, and credit union programs. President Leopold Sedar Senghor, then president of Senegal, gave him a medal and inducted him into the Grand Ordre National du Senegal in recognition of his services to the African people.

SHAMAN
When Serge Kahili King was fourteen he was initiated into the path of Hawaiian shamanism by his father. At eighteen he was adopted as the grandson of Joseph Kahili of Kauai, a "kupua" or shaman of the Hawaiian tradition. In addition to his years of training with the Kahili family, Dr. King spent seven years in West Africa being trained in African shamanic traditions, and has made in-depth studies of other such traditions around the world. Today he teaches people how to use shamanic healing techniques and uses his knowledge to help others discover their own creative power.

  • "Tuvan Shamanic Healing" (audio CD) Tuvan Shaman Ai-Churek Oiun learned the ancient art of throat singing directly through her relationship with the drum and the spirits. A circle of healing, rich in vibratory overtones, is woven by this one female voice, her drum and her dream.

Affirmations For Living Guest, Victoria Reynolds December 06, 2012
Mentor, Speaker, Transformational Author, Motivator, Filmmaker

When I’m not coaching my clients, speaking on stages or volunteering at my children’s school, I am sitting at my computer writing or scribbling notes into any note  taking device I can get my hands on.

Someone asked me the age old question not long ago, “If you were stranded on a desert island with only one thing, what would that thing be?" My answer was "a notebook with pen attached." My pen is my magic wand and I practically panic when I don’t have something to record my thoughts with.

Several years ago the writing faucet turned on and I haven’t been able to turn it off. My thoughts are a continual stream of insights that inspire even me. And because I am so inspired by the message that moves through me I wouldn’t want to turn off this wondrous gift.

My first book “Transcending Fear: The Journey to Freedom and Fulfillment” is now available everywhere books are sold.  My series of illustrated children’s books are in the works, and before you know it, a few other non-fiction books in the publication process will be making their way into the world.

Along with my books I write my "Practical Magic" Blog. A blog that I recently started up to go along with my magical new brand and I write The Polygamist Daughter's Blog where I share stories with my readers about growing up on “The Ranch”.  I also maintain a monthly newsletter where I share my insights, stories and other yummy things that come across my path.
