Born and raised in Geelong by European immigrant parents, I first became a journalist and editor, writing professionally for newspapers and magazines, before running my own family business. I’ve also been busy raising my sons, Kristofer and Matthew who are young men now.

It is often said that we study healing because initially we need healing ourselves. This was certainly true in my case. I grieved the loss of four members of my immediate family and became naturally curious about the after-life. My soul searching became somewhat of a spiritual pilgrimage where I questioned my religion, felt myself awakening to other beliefs. I felt that there was more I could offer people than just my wordsmithing. My spiritual pilgrimage took me through all the main religions and philosophies in a quest for truth. I studied the major sacred texts, meditation, learned how to astral travel, studied reincarnation, tantra, the Dharma, many healing modalities, these studies took years. I'm still learning, it’s an eternal quest.

I initially became a healer, studying Reiki (Mastership) and Spiritual Healing, Auric Diagnostics and Meditation Teaching with Michelle Boughen at the Gallery of Enlightenment but I had a few requests to do massage my healing clients, so I furthered my studies with Michelle and learned Indian Head Massage, Hawaiian Kahuna Lomi Lomi Bodywork massage, aromatherapy, and then later Balinese Bodyscrub and Massage Techniques. As Energy work was my main fascination, I found an excellent professor in my travels, Mr Lionel Thomas, who taught me Energetic Chinese Medicine and Advanced SFEF Kinesiology, Body Systems and SFEFopathy a variation of homepathics and I owe much of my success today to these two amazing teachers and mentors who have been my constant support networks over the years and they've helped me become the great healing practitioner that I am today.

Over the years, I've studied past life regression therapy, been involved in ghost busting and in mediumship development circles and basically have developed a huge repertoire in this otherworldly field. But as I like to keep one foot in each dimension, I also offer physical therapies in the holistic day spa business.

Michael C. Irving, Ph. D. Bio

Dr. Michael Irving knows pain. In Toronto, Canada he works at Wings Neural Rehab with brain injury clients, accident and trauma victims and those suffering with debilitating chronic pain. He loves his work and gains much satisfaction from seeing people make remarkable transformations in their experience of chronic pain and emotional distress. For more than 30 years he has been working with posttraumatic stress in survivors of single incident trauma and those with a history of long-term profound child abuse. His doctoral studies in professional psychology and pre-and perinatal psychology gave him an understanding of emotional trauma and trauma resolution outside the domain of language. Dr. Irving has found that mind-body tools, techniques and strategies he learned and developed in dealing with the psychological wounds of child abuse survivors, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and early pre-and perinatal trauma were remarkably effective in controlling physical pain and even eradicating chronic pain.

Dr. Irving understands the experience of pain beyond his professional training. On a deep level his work with helping others cope with, and resolve pain, is informed by a personal history of being a child abuse survivor, living with decades of posttraumatic stress and chronic pain, overcoming a heart attack and stroke. On the lighter side, his understanding of pain management greatly helped him in meeting the challenges of running five marathons in 12 weeks to celebrate turning 65-years-old.

Whether Dr. Irving is working with trauma victims, child abuse survivors, individuals post-cardiac event, head injury victims, those suffering with chronic pain or seniors he coaches to complete a marathon he works from a foundation that living from the heart is living for the heart. His view is that wellness for the heart is much broader then a biological pump and its associated plumbing. Full-hearted health is living in all areas of one’s life from what we truly mean by “Heart”. Heart disease and other diseases can be greatly impacted by “Heart” dis-ease. We become dis-eased and then diseased when we experience deterioration of “Heart” -- love, emotions, relationships, purpose and meaning, kindness, gratitude, art and aesthetics, spirit, mindfulness, patience, courage, appreciation of nature and the connection to others.

Dr. Irving has developed a comprehensive approach to helping post cardiac event clients with mind body tools and resiliency skills for healing and quality of life. His wellness for the heart program, “Twelve Wisdoms of Wellness for the Heart”, is based on twelve tenants of: Family and Friends, Listen to your Heart, Take Charge, Stress Reduction, Harmony and Balance, Heart Healthy Food, Exercise for Life, Health Care Team, Medicines and Supplements, Meditation and Relaxation, Visualization, Spiritual Connection. Dr. Irving comes from the perspective of adding “Heart” to each of these areas is fundamental to healing and prevention with all diseases.

Dr. Irving has worked in business, in education, as a psychotherapist and a sculptor. He has published and lectured on art, myth and psychology, been featured in newspapers and magazines and has appeared on radio and television. He has a BA Degree in Psychology with practical training in Addiction Counseling as well as Group Therapy and individual counseling.

PASQUALE ESPOSITO

Pasquale Esposito was born in Naples, Italy. At the age of seven, while performing in his local church choir, he discovered the power of prayer and music and the divine impact they had on his community.

In 1998, Pasquale immigrated to the United States after winning the Green Card Lottery. He settled in the San Francisco Bay Area and pursued his passion for music by attending San Jose State University’s School of Music under the skillful direction of world renowned tenor, Professor Joseph Frank.

Throughout his tenure at SJSU, Pasquale accomplished and worked on several CDS and theatrical productions that showcased his talents as a tenor both nationally and internationally. Aside from touring, Pasquale takes great pride in performing many of his own compositions arranged in the pop-opera style. In 2009, he released his fifth album: “A Brand New Me” comprised of all of his original compositions and graduated from SJSU.

Following the success of “A Brand New Me,” Pasquale continued his artistic development and expanded into the classical genre. He collaborated with artistic director, Emily Ray, of the Mission Chamber Orchestra. Together, they used an innovative approach to profoundly impact their communities in a positive manner by presenting orchestral shows in the form of benefit concert events. To date, he has benefited: Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties, Little Italy San Jose, the Sacred Heart Parish of Saratoga, Carmel Mission Basilica and the American Cancer Society to name a few.

In lieu of his contributions to the community, he was inspired to further give back to the future of music by mentoring young students at the Notable Music Academy that he established in 2010.

Currently, he will be releasing his sixth album titled: “Il Tempo,” a compilation of a variety of songs that have individually inspired and developed his passion as an artist. Following the release of the album, he will embark on a national tour featuring music from the highly anticipated album.
