Dr. Miller will suggest ideas for trying go grow our own future teachers from today's high school students and from oiur college students. We can grow our own teachers as social justices leaders. It is not too late to grow leaders from our school communities.

From 2007-14, Ms. Parkinson worked as Senior Vice President of business development and marketing for Content Partners, a unique entertainment finance company that buys backend profit participations in Film and Television. Her responsibilities included developing and maintaining strong relationships with lawyers, managers, wealth managers, and others who have entertainment industry clients while assisting in raising capital for the funds, marketing and working in various stages of the deal making process.
In 2012, ABC Family bought a sitcom based on her life’s experiences where she served as Executive Producer.
Krista serves as an adjunct Professor in the Cinema School at USC where she teaches a course she created called “Breaking Into the Entertainment Business” which empowers students to find and land their first internships and jobs in the entertainment field.

In July, Valenti took on the challenging title role in Verdi’s “Don Carlos” at the Caramoor Festival which The New York Times noted his “dark-centered, expressive tenor.” Recently, Valenti performed as a guest soloist during Christmas Eve Midnight Mass at New York City’s St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Currently, Valenti is expanding his musical repertoire and preparing for a number of exciting roles for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Valenti is scheduled to perform as Cavaradossi in “Tosca,” Don Jose in “Carmen” and will be making his triumphant return to the Metropolitan Opera as he performs in “Madama Butterfly” in April 2014.
When Valenti is not performing, he gives his time to many organizations close to his heart such as Children International (which he is currently a celebrity ambassador), UNICEF, Greenpeace, PBS and NPR. Valenti always makes time in between his rigorous performance schedule to give back to young emerging artists and has given master classes at University of Texas, University of Arizona, Northwestern and University of Minnesota.
