Happiness Hangout Guest, Carolyn CJ Jones October 19, 2016
Author, speaker, coach and forgiveness expert

Carolyn CJ Jones  is a forgiveness expert and guide, multi-award-winning author, speaker, coach, and creator of the Change Your Story, Change Your Life programs. First and foremost, CJ is a leader. This she demonstrated in her professional career as a registered nurse while employed by Colorado’s Medicaid Program. At the State level, CJ created, developed, and managed a program for medically fragile children who were dependent on high-tech machinery for their lives. The program allowed them to be cared for at home with hourly nursing care, rather than living in the hospital intensive care unit. Be-cause of this program, each child’s story was changed and that drastically changed their life.

Even though proven as a leader at the State, CJ’s personal experiences are at the heart of her leadership abilities. She spent 35 adult years angry and bitter over her childhood until, in 2005, she learned to change that story when she discovered forgiveness. In cur-rent day, it has become her passion to help people discover the freedom available when they experience the peace, joy, and empowerment that occur when they are forgiving. As a forgiveness expert and guide, she uses the same skills now that she displayed in leading the children’s program, only now there is more wisdom, more passion. CJ creat-ed the YIPPEE Method to lead others through their unique issues so that they, too, can change their story and change their life.

The People Speak Guest, Libbe HaLevy October 18, 2016
Producer/Host Nuclear Hotseat

Libbe HaLevy produces and hosts Nuclear Hotseat, the weekly international news magazine on all things anti-nuclear. She has been a TEDx speaker, an Amazon #1 Bestselling Author, hosted rallies, and led media workshops at anti-nuclear conferences around the country. She is also the co-creator of Radiation Awareness Protection Talk, or RAPT, an audio series on how to best protect from the negative impact of radioactivity on our health.

Nuclear Hotseat has been in weekly production since June 14, 2011. As of May, 2015, every month the program is downloaded in 58 countries on six continents and has received as many as half a million hits in a week. The show provides the week’s anti-nuclear news, serious reporting as well as comic relief (“Numnutz of the Week” for Nuclear Boneheadedness), jingles and sound effects. Her insightful interviews w/nuclear experts in all aspects of the issue have broken national stories in mainstream media and been translated into German and Japanese.

The Mission Statement of Nuclear Hotseat:

  • Provide only verifiable information as news, so it can be trusted to be as accurate as possible. When mistakes are found to be made, retractions and corrections will be issued immediately.
  • Provide context and continuity on stories, so that individual factoids and incidents can be seen as part of an overall pattern of nuclear dangers.
  • Do whatever I can to keep the anti-nuclear community in good heart.

HISTORY: Libbe was visiting friends one mile from the nuclear reactors at Three Mile Island in

Middletown, Pennsylvania, when the nuclear accident happened on March 28, 1979. Libbe is author of the Amazon #1 best-selling nuclear memoir, Yes, I Glow in the Dark!  One Mile from Three Mile Island to Fukushima and Beyond, available as an ebook on Amazon.com and coming out as a physical book in late 2015.

During an extensive career in broadcasting, Libbe worked for WGN-TV, WGBH-TV, 20th Century Fox Studios, Norman Lear’s production companies, and many radio stations.  A accomplished playwright and librettist, her plays and musicals have won awards, been produced internationally, and optioned for Broadway. For more than 20 years, she ran a musical theatre development organization, Broadway on Sunset, and produced shows for Joan Hotchkis and Tearsheets Productions. Now an experienced life and business coach (clients include stage and screen legend Julie Andrews), as well as a popular storyteller and sought-after public speaker, Libbe’s dream is to take Nuclear Hotseat international via satellite, cable or broadcast and continue to be a catalyst to help end all things nuclear.

Along the way, she’d make a great Nuclear Pundit for any of the broadcast or cable comedy shows , as well as a consultant on nuclear issues for the film, television and entertainment industry because let’s face it: she knows where the “bodies” are buried!

Life Changes Show Guest, Everett Coast October 17, 2016
Acoustic guitar driven duo of woven voices and fused songwriting

EVERETT COAST (DANNY BYRNE and JOSH MISKO)

Everett Coast, the acoustic guitar driven duo of woven voices and fused songwriting, was founded in early 2011 by singer-songwriters Danny Byrne and Josh Misko. They were introduced by their instructor, mentor, and now close friend, Anika Paris (Warner Chappell / Universal), while attending Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. The two California natives bonded quickly becoming fast friends, bandmates and eventually roommates.

Raised in the small town of Springville, CA, located near the Giant Sequoias in the Southern Sierra Nevada, Misko (vocals, guitars, ukulele) credits his mother for his love of music. At the age of 14, he asked his parents for an acoustic guitar. His mother told him she would only buy him a guitar if he wrote his own music. “I absolutely give my mom 100% credit for why I write the way I do today. She forced me to think outside of the box musically right from the start.” After graduating high school, Misko attended California State University Channel Islands but quickly realized that traditional college wasn’t for him. He packed up and moved to Los Angeles to attend Musician’s Institute in the fall of 2010.

A 4-year-old Byrne (vocals, piano, guitar, bass, drums, production & engineering) always knew that music was the life for him. His parents, however, needed some convincing. “My parents were reluctant to get me started on the piano at such a young age, but even as a 4-year-old, I wouldn’t take no for an answer. I’d jump on the piano bench beside my big sister during her piano practice and turn every note, scale or song into an unwelcome duet. Finally, my parents got me lessons of my own.” In high school, the classically trained pianist from Sacramento picked up the guitar and in college began singing and writing songs. After graduating from California State University, Sacramento with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Organizational Communications, Byrne decided to move to Los Angeles in the fall of 2009 and follow his true passion for music.

Everett Coast writes and produces all their own original material as well as co-writes across a wide variety of music genres from pop and hip-hop to folk and country. Influenced by such artists as John Mayer, Jason Mraz, The Avett Brothers and Mumford and Sons, Everett Coast creates with the intention to not only stay current in today’s music industry, but to also keep the influence of the greats, such as America, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Everly Brothers, and of course, Simon and Garfunkel.

In July of 2013, Everett Coast self-produced, recorded, and released their debut 4-song EP Hey, Hey, California (available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, etc.). From this EP they independently secured Everett Coast Radio on Pandora Internet Radio, and three sync licensing deals featuring their songs “Hey, Hey, California” & “Passing Through” in the independent film Monumental, and “Hey, Hey, California” in a new reality T.V. series Barflies. Additionally, in 2014 Everett Coast wrote & produced the music for Oregon State University’s The Campaign For OSU Thanks Donors Like You commercial.

John Barbours World Guest, Rosie Cutter October 17, 2016
Performance Artist/Astrologer

ROSIE CUTTER is an international performance artist and astrologer. Studying astrology and medicine for 14 years, she came upon the Destiny Card system while living on the island of Kauai, Hi.

Our common day playing cards weren't actually used for playing games until very recently, they are actually the origins of the Tarot and are one of the oldest systems of astrology on the planet.  Every day has a card, and every card has deep layers of meaning.

Incorporating numerology and astrology,  Rosie found her true self through the system, as an award-winning musician and reader.  The system has truly opened her eyes to the realization that all forms of life are interconnected through ancient patterns.  If we merely stop to take the time and reflect, we can see the patterns of energy that affect us and how to use these uncontrollable forces in our world in  a positive way.

Since the discovery of Destiny Cards Rosie has traveled the world far and wide to places like Brazil, Ibiza, Hawaii, and all over America doing thousands of readings and sharing her passion for knowledge that helps people navigate this strange world. Rosie offers integrative readings involving Human Design, Astrology, and Destiny Cards, to see a weather forecast of past, present and future events.   She is releasing an upcoming book and weekly card kit with famed Destiny Cards Author Robert Camp in the fall, and is currently working with clients via telephone and internet from her home in Jackson Hole, Wy.
