A Fireside Chat Guest, Inelia Benz February 17, 2018
Writer, Painter, Blogger, Artist, Musician, Mystic

This is Inelia’s first incarnation on any planet, born free from self-importance, attachments, personal agendas, personal evolution, or a desire for soul advancement. She arrived knowing only that the planet needed to vibrate at a higher level in order to undergo a global ascension. What she did not know was how to assist in raising the vibration and how to communicate the need for a higher vibration to others. Initially, Inelia tried emulating other people’s actions by getting married, having children, and learning about human suffering. Although this gave her a deeper understanding of what others considered important, it did not assist in reaching the aim of global ascension.

In January 2010, she received a request from Source to “go public as a person” in order to promote the message of empowerment and sovereignty to the masses. Emerging from anonymity, she became a messenger of personal and global ascension. Over the next three years, she worked tirelessly to explore, investigate, develop, and disseminate tools, including meditations and exercises, that were quick, mystery-free, and highly effective — tools used by hundreds of thousands of people to achieve personal ascension and, in so doing, to contribute to the goal of global ascension.

She has written several powerful works of fiction; The 13th Mage, Interview with an Alien, Interview with A Psychic Assassin, Interview with an Angel, and just out:  The Return!  Inelia has gatherings at her home in Washington, and teaches through her websites.  For more personal interactions exercises and support, visit her website, https://walkwithmenow.com.  You can also find her on Facebook!

Interviewing The Legends Guest, Alannah Myles February 14, 2018
Singer,Songwriter,Actress

THE "BLACK VELVET" QUEEN

A L A N N A H     M Y L E S

SPECIAL GUEST ON THE RAY SHASHO SHOW

Alannah Myles was born in Toronto, Canada listening to FM radio stations that introduced her to an international compilation of music. She was raised in the city of Toronto where she studied to become a graphic artist, splitting time on her family’s ranch in Buckhorn, Ontario and spent her early years competing as an equestrian on the Ontario A Circuit competing in Canada’s prestigious Royal Winter Fair prior to deciding that she would make music her calling. You may click on the link below to visit the family lodge.

BIG BALD LAKE RANCH, BUCKHORN, ONTARIO, CANADA

Alannah appeared as an actor in TV commercials, modeled, styled wardrobe for local celebrities, worked as a makeup artist and consultant to pay for her early demo tapes in attempts to secure a record deal for her team. Though she was born to a privileged family, she chose to remain independent. After a decade of paying dues; performing concert venues, drinking establishments, nightclubs, coffee houses and hotel bars she spent five long years recording her debut album released by Atlantic Records (Warner Music Group).

Alannah was and will always be married to her music.

The ‘Alannah Myles’ first self titled album released in Canada in the spring of 1989 produced four Top 40 hits, “Love Is”, “Black Velvet”, “Lover of Mine”, and “Still Got This Thing”. Released internationally in 1990, Atlantic records finally hit pay dirt with her number one international smash, “Black Velvet”, winning a Grammy award for best female rock performance, along with several Canadian Juno Awards, a Diamond award for sales in excess of one million in Canada – the only artist who still retains this status for a debut record. After it’s first year of release Black Velvet received the ASCAP award for over one million radio plays and the ASCAP ‘Millionaire Award’ in 2005 for over 5 million radio plays. SOCAN in Canada awarded the songs, “Black Velvet” and “Lover Of Mine” each with an award for over 100,000 plays in Canada in 2005 with her #1 hit ‘Song Instead Of  A Kiss” to follow.

Her follow-up multi-platinum album, Rockinghorse (1992) received a Grammy nomination for the title track ‘Rockinghorse’ and three Canadian Juno Awards. Prior to her third,1995 ‘A Lan Nah’ album she signed with manager, Miles Copeland after attending his annual songwriting retreats held at the Marouatte Chateau in France. After the sale of over eight million records she concluded her alliance with Atlantic Records and in 1997 Ark 21 Records released her fourth record Arrival (1997), which saw the top 40, hit Bad 4 You.

Atlantic Records cemented Alannah’s release from her 7- 8 album deal with a parting gift, ‘The Very Best Of Alannah Myles (1999) compilation released on WMC and internationally on Ark 21/EMI, re-released as ‘Myles & More’ (2000) on Ark21/Universal Music Group containing hits from all four albums and is scheduled for termination.

Funds from an out of court settlement with a national Canadian publication afforded Alannah the luxury of spending the time required to record, executive produce and co-write 9 of the 11 tracks for ‘Black Velvet’ leased to an indie label in Canada which has since 2013 been terminated. The album includes a contemporary remake of her classic hit, co-produced with Torontonian Mike Borkosky and Veronica Ferraro from France, mixed by renown producer Terry Brown.

The lease for Alannah’s independently owned 2009 CD, ‘Black Velvet’ was terminated on Sept 1, 2013, repackaged, retitled ’85bpm’ with added tracks including an original re-record of Black Velvet. Returned master recordings of her 1997 ‘A Rival’ CD are now distributed by tunecore.com re-released to all online digital stores with future remix plans in celebration of her 25th Anniversary.

Plans to tour Europe beginning with classically orchestrated concerts backed by conductor Friedemann Riehle for the Prague Philgarmonic Orchestra began in the fall of 2015. Expect to hear more music and news in her 28th Anniversary season of 2018..

MAKING OF 85BPM

HERE ARE A FEW OF ALANNAH'S  INFAMOUS QUOTES …

“Justice is never blind…  She just takes your precious time”.

“A good song lives on til well after we’re gone. It has the power to inspire others and move people’s hearts without their even being fully aware.”

“One Hit Wonder… Yeah, one only needs to get it right once.

“I challenge anyone (including me) to better Black Velvet!”

“God put me on this planet to accomplish a certain amount of things.

Right now, I’m so far behind, I can never die!”

The Veterans News Hour Guest, Brian Ellis February 12, 2018
Army veteran and Certified Peer Specialist

My name is Brian Ellis.  Much like many other veterans, I was compelled to join the military after the September 11th attacks on New York and the Pentagon. On December 20th, 2001, I proudly raised my right hand and enlisted in the Florida Army National Guard as an 11 bravo Infantryman. I attended The Army’s Infantry School at Fort Benning, GA, from March 11th to June 14th of 2002. After completing infantry school, I proudly became part of the 53rd Infantry Brigade and assigned to C Company, 2-124 Infantry, out of Orlando Florida. However, my return to civilian life was short-lived because on December 24, 2002, I was activated by the Florida Army National Guard and ordered to report to the armory on December 26th for my first deployment. By January first, the unit was sent to Fort Stewart, GA for pre-mobilization training.

By the end of February 2003, the unit was sent to the country of Jordan for the Invasion of Iraq. During my deployment, C Company, 2-124 Infantry was attached to 5th Group Special Forces ODA 571 as quick reaction force, pilot recovery, POW processing, security and general support for our first mission. When our mission in the Iraqi desert and Jordan was over, we were all sent to Baghdad and attached to many other units. Our missions included, force protection, patrolling the streets of Baghdad and the Tigris River. On September 8, 2003, I was injured and medevacked out of Baghdad; I was sent to Landstuhl Medical Facility in Germany. From there I reported to Fort Stewart’s Medical hold battalion until I was rehabilitated and released from active duty.

After release, my injury forced me to re-class, so I left the infantry in 2006 and moved from unit to unit until December 2007 until my contract was up. Instead of reenlisting I took a short break from the military and went into the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR). However, by April of 2008, I found myself talking to a recruiter and decided to join an Army Reserves aviation unit as a Blackhawk mechanic. Shortly after my MOS training at Fort Eustis, VA, I began my flight training as a UH-60 Black Hawk crew chief in a newly formed Medevac unit. On Oct 20th 2011, my unit mobilized to Fort Hood, TX then to western Afghanistan where we were attached to the First Cavalry Division and the 12th Combat Action brigade for Medevac support. My platoon ended up in northwestern part of Afghanistan called Bala Murghab on Forward operating base (FOB) BMG. For the next nine months, I flew over 50 Medevac missions.

Although I finished my deployment in Afghanistan, I returned home somewhat lost and physically broken. I suffered from extreme chronic pain and loneliness that caused bouts of alcoholism, isolation, and self-destruction. Thanks to the hard work of the men and woman of the Tampa VA hospital’s Center for Post Deployment and Education (CPHE), I am in recovery from alcoholism, and the effects of PTSD are manageable. However, I am still working on my progress to better my  quality of life.

During my time at the VA, I was asked by a member of the CPHE  to develop a program that would help other veterans’ transition and recover from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) from a veteran’s point of view. I began my program in April of 2015, at the time, the CPHE had between 20 to 30 patients enrolled; the program I put together lasted 22 weeks and included groups and one on one mentoring sessions under the supervision of licensed mental health practitioners. The program was a success, both veterans and VA Peer Specialists utilized the program to help veterans.

In all, I spent over 700 hours volunteering as a Recovery coach at the Tampa VA.  After obtaining my State of Florida Peer Specialist certification in October of 2016, I begin working for the Society of St Vincent de Paul. As a veteran Peer Mentor and homeless outreach specialist. 90 percent of my time was spent calling shelters, walking in the woods and combing streets to locate homeless veterans. During this time, I learned more about people in a raw environment and why they end up homeless and walk away from society. It is my goal to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a military culture awareness trainer in the near future. My drive is from my own experiences, I truly believe that properly trained and educated veterans are the most qualified to help the veteran population and their family ease the pain of transition and recovery.
