Cathy, I thoroughly enjoyed your interview with Robert “Dr. Doom” Brazile. I learned so much about him and his inspiring journey to the NFL Hall of Fame. He is, and has always been, a true class act. Growing up in Mobile, I was in the same high school class—though at a different school—and his reflections on desegregation deeply resonated with me. It took me back, especially since I knew many of the people he mentioned and understood the social atmosphere of that time.

I had the opportunity to compete against “Buck” Brazile in little league baseball and high school basketball. He was always intense on the field but remarkably humble off it. Your interview brought out the best of his human qualities in such a personal and unique way. Your professionalism as an interviewer created space for him to be honest, reflective, and completely himself.

It was refreshing, down-to-earth, revealing, and truly captivating. Kudos to you and The Cathy Durant Show!
