Summary of my book. I used a pen name for this book to protect the guilty. I did not want a troubled veteran to go after him and thus get themself in trouble. The book is called, "Blood Fake - A Stolen Valor Story". This book is about a person who used a fake diagnosis of "PTSD" in his act of military heroism. He has used this story to manipulate, deceive, and control his targets (women) over the course of nearly 35 years. He estranges them from their families and then goes to work. I want people to be horrified by this story. I have three goals: 1) to educate the general public 2) to modify or add to the current Stolen Valor Act of 2013 to include cases like my sister's, and 3) to show how my Christian faith overcame my aggression and hatred through forgiveness. The story I am telling covers approximately 4 years of his life with my sister, but he has destroyed many families prior and is in the process of destroying another. Though I would like to see accountability in this world I do know he will be held to account in the end. My sister was one such woman. We were all from the same area and my brother and I were friends with his brothers. One had since past, but we remain friends with his surviving brother. He is also estranged from his brother. My sister killed herself in October of 2022. He simply broke her. He cheated on her, stole from her and used her to raise a couple of his children. He had no parenting skills and is suspected of child sexual abuse. After my sister's death he shows up at the viewing with his two daughters and a woman sits with them the entire evening. Turns out she's the new target. Within months they purchased a home and get married. He simply replaced my sister. This woman's sister reached out to me because "she heard things". Nearly all the things I mention in my book are proven through my sister's texts, emails, and police records.
