I teach adults to sleep. I have created Storytime a bedtime story for adults to listen to at night in order to still their busy minds. The number one cause of insomnia is a busy and buzzing mind that refuses to stop thinking. So by focusing on listening to my voice your mind will no longer be able to focus on your own thoughts and so will start to slow down which will allow your body also to relax and you will drift into a deeper sleep.
I encourage folk to do this as a daily practice and as you continue to do this every night you will begin to notice how much deeper and more restorative your sleep becomes.
I worked in my family practice in New Zealand for 12 years.
