Andrew Behar, As You Sow CEO, has 30 years of experience as a Senior Executive and strategist in the clean-tech, communications and life science sectors. Prior to joining As You Sow, Andrew founded and was CEO of a clean-tech start-up developing innovative fuel cell technologies. He served as COO for a social media agency focused in the sustainability space and has been a strategic consultant in the non-profit sector. He has founded and run start-ups in the medical device and communications areas and serves on the boards of several high-tech innovation companies.
As You Sow was founded on the belief that an overwhelming majority of environmental and human rights abuses are due to corporate negligence and policies that stress short-term profits. Our work since 1992 has addressed this theme broadly and we have worked diligently on specific issues to bring corporate decision making into integrity. We have challenged the commonly held belief that these enterprises are too big to change. We have succeeded through persistence and honestly time and again.
Our vision is a safe, just, and sustainable world in which environmental health and human rights are central to corporate decision making. We work to promote corporate integrity through shareholder advocacy and innovative legal strategies.
Life Changes Show
Come and join the conversation about what's going on and what we can do together about it, with it, and for it. We have the choice, we have the power. We can do magic if we just believe!
A show about the changes going on in us, to us, around us, and because of us. Therefore, it's technically a show about "Everything," only with a how to make it better, see it better, be better.
In the show, there is talk about, and with, people who have either been through major changes, are helping others with major changes, or people who are changing the world for the better in a major way.
The show is a one-hour talk show format with a monologue by the host, a 30 minute interview with a guest of note, capped by a "Producer's Wrap" segment, in which Filippo and Co-Host Mark Laisure, and sometimes surprise guests, bring it all home for the listeners in a sometimes humorous and sometimes touching, but always entertaining conversation.
