Born in Liverpool Julie was, from the beginning recognised as an important talent in Jazz, working with such significant names as Stan Tracey, Bobby Wellins, Don Wellar, Harry Becket, Jean Toussant, Courtney pine and many more. This work culminated in her touring the UK and Europe, with the Charlie Watts Big Band and more recently Making a contribution to the last two Acoustic Alchemy albums.



Julie has appeared on recordings for record labels as diverse as Rough Trade through to BMG and appeared in front of twenty thousand people at festivals across Europe, from Belgium to Holland to Germany and Greece. Her radio work is as varied as John Peel to Radio 2 and Jazz FM. She has done residencies at Ronnie Scotts, wrote and performed with Mikis Theodorakis and has written and produced for George Michael's Aegean Label.



Julie' was the featured vocalist on the huge club hit CHAIN OF FOOLS with the BFL project and more recently we have seen her writing and performing with A Guy Called Gerald (Voodoo Ray) for his long awaited album "To All Things What They Need", writing and recording for the Sensei Records Label, writing and recording with DJ Asle along with recording a series of singles for Circulation.



Julie has just signed a recording deal with Yoshitoshi Records (Deep Dish) and her first single "Sugar" with Dyad 10, due for release early in 2007. Pete Tong is already playing the Tocadisco mix on Radio 1, having previously been playing the Nika & Asle mix.



Julie is currently working on tracks for Matt Darey, Al B Rich, Bassnectar, Dawn Patrol, Dj Asle, Alex Santer, Steen Thottrup and Nicka (Miro). The start of 2007 sees Julie start work on tracks with Judge Jules. She will also start work on her much-anticipated solo album.
