Dr. Shor is indeed a legend in the war on schools and our children and is America's expert on critical pedagogy. He is also very active with United Opt Out.
This will be the first show our newest series featuring a conversation with an education advocate, activist, and warrior for quality, equality, and social justice public education for all.

"Tuvan Shamanic Healing" (audio CD) Tuvan Shaman Ai-Churek Oiun learned the ancient art of throat singing directly through her relationship with the drum and the spirits. The drumming style used by Ai-Churek is not typical of Tuvan shamanism and is distinctive to her. This healing ritual was recorded in California during a workshop sponsored by the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. A circle of healing, rich in vibratory overtones, is woven by this one female voice, her drum and her dream.

I recently retired as the Vice President of the non-profit foundation, Native Cultural Alliance, which provides educational programs and health supplies to a district in the Brazilian Amazon Rain Forrest.
My various articles include, "Healing and Trance Dancing in Grenada", "In the Words of the Shaman", and "Shamanic Response to an Allergic Reaction".

Someone asked me the age old question not long ago, “If you were stranded on a desert island with only one thing, what would that thing be?" My answer was "a notebook with pen attached." My pen is my magic wand and I practically panic when I don’t have something to record my thoughts with.
Several years ago the writing faucet turned on and I haven’t been able to turn it off. My thoughts are a continual stream of insights that inspire even me. And because I am so inspired by the message that moves through me I wouldn’t want to turn off this wondrous gift.
My first book “Transcending Fear: The Journey to Freedom and Fulfillment” is now available everywhere books are sold. My series of illustrated children’s books are in the works, and before you know it, a few other non-fiction books in the publication process will be making their way into the world.
Along with my books I write my "Practical Magic" Blog. A blog that I recently started up to go along with my magical new brand and I write The Polygamist Daughter's Blog where I share stories with my readers about growing up on “The Ranch”. I also maintain a monthly newsletter where I share my insights, stories and other yummy things that come across my path.

Since 2004, Regina has been teaching free classes on the emotional therapies. She and her son, John, started a local non-profit corporation, Love In Action, Inc, which has helped local organizations financially, who care for children with emotional problems. This non-profit corporation also offers free training for organizations that want to learn Emotional Sound Techniques.

Brant Secunda is a shaman, healer and traditional ceremonial leader who completed a 12-year apprenticeship with Don José Matsuwa, the renowned Huichol shaman who passed away in 1990 at the age of 110.
For over 30 years, Brant has been leading conferences, workshops and retreats around the globe. He is a co-founder of the American Herbalist Guild, the Peace University, and the Huichol Foundation. He is also the co-author of the award-winning book Fit Soul Fit Body, 9 Keys to a Healthier, Happier You.
Brant Secunda’s initiation into the Huichol Indian tribe was a five day vision quest, a period of isolation in the wilderness without food and water, in a sacred cave in the Huichol Sierras known to the Huichols as the Cave of Grandmother Growth.
Initiations: Other rites of passage included capturing and releasing a wild rattle snake with his bare hands to face his fear of death, enduring a fourteen month fruit fast to enhance his sensitivity to the natural world, and surviving a nine day vision quest so that he may, according to Huichol cosmology, learn the language of the gods. The nine-day vision quest, considered lengthy by Huichol standards, along with several other five-day vision quests, helped to establish Brant as a respected initiate within the Huichol nation.

Reverend Ernie Martin is spiritual, understanding, warm, caring, flexible, interfaith non-denominational minister who will officiate the ceremonies that define your life.
Reverend Ernie received his MS Degree in Business Organizational Management. He is happily married, has two grown sons and three grandchildren.
Prior to ordination, Reverend Ernie worked in the non-profit sector as a Job Coach for adults with disabilities, a Volunteer Coordinator, and, as a Financial / Credit counselor. He volunteered as a phone hotline Lay Minister at a mega-church in Orange County, California. He also worked in a Fortune 500 Aerospace company as a Project Financial Analyst prior to his dedication to supporting non-profit organizations.
After ordination, Reverend Ernie volunteers at senior living centers conducting non-denominational services involving prayers, singing and sharing. He also has volunteered for and supports the Las Vegas Rescue Mission.
Reverend Ernie was born and raised in a Christian family in India. He studied at a Methodist school for six years in South India. During his childhood in India, he and his family lived among many religious groups such as Hindus, Muslims, fellow Christians, Buddhists and Sikhs.
He emigrated to America at age 18 in 1964 shortly after high school graduation. Living in the Los Angeles area, he became a naturalized USA citizen in 1976. Reverend Ernie has learned extensively about other religions and belief systems through his personal studies. In America as an adult, he’s actively attended several churches including Catholic, Protestant, Methodist, Unitarian and Meta-physical.
He was ordained by the Universal Life Church in January 2011. He’s developed an Interfaith ministry, which respects all loving religious and spiritual beliefs.
