Since the whole issue of “facts” seems to be in question these days, we thought that the phrase “Is That a Fact?” should be our phrase of the week.
“It’s vital to know the facts.” “Is That a Fact?”
“Facts are not as important as perception.” “Is That a Fact?”
“What we believe determines what we perceive” “Is That a Fact?”
“Science deals with facts. Religion deals with beliefs.” “Is That a Fact?”
And then what are "alternative facts" and what is their relationship to the fact facts? First cousins? In-laws? and who's to say? (last week's phrase of the week.)
These are just a few of the possible perspectives, perhaps facts, that we can scrutinize tonight. What we can agree on is the fact that "Insight Out--the Naked Truth" will be playing tonight at 7 p.m. (PT) and a contender for “ facthood is the possibility that you will join us.
If you can, you will be treated to a conversation with a goofy, but thoughtful couple who have worked and lived together for over 40 years trying their best to discern fact from friction
Our conversation will be sprinkled with humor, zany characters and music. A pretty good deal, if you ask me. (That may be a fact wanna-be or even, I hesitate to say, an alternative fact. )

In honor of today being Valentine’s day, our featured phrase of the week is “I love it.”
After all, what’s not to love? Now, I know you can think of lots of things not to love, but as we will explore in our program tomorrow morning, learning to love whatever shows up in our lives empowers us to deal with it more effectively. That’s why, "I love it."
So, can you join us tomorrow at 8 AM PT and listen in to our conversation? Per usual we include insights, music, characters and surprises that help us to, well…… “Love it” – life, that is.
And in case you haven’t noticed it, much of life on this planet right now is being threatened. I would suggest that we are in this predicament because we haven’t loved “it” – ourselves and other life forms – enough.

In this show, Dr. Miller will explain the "Rightness of Whiteness Value Syndrome" – a phase, theory and concept he created in 1972-73. Dr. Miller will explore the origins of this syndrome, and its manifestations, and historical, past, present, and future impact on black and white America.
The show will illuminate the origins of racist ideology, racist political theology, white supremacy, and white rage. Where did this rage come from and when did it manifest?
The final show on March 5 willl focus on the rise and fall of the black middle class elite. Dr. Miller will share his own introduction and induction into this group (their children of high school and college age). when he was a senior in high school.

Jessica Benson serves as the Sports Director and Weekday Sports Anchor for KNDU and SWX in the Tri-Cities. Jessica grew up in Denver, CO, but she has family in Gig Harbor, Seattle, Moses Lake, Lake Chelan, Spokane, Lewiston (ID), and even right down the street in Kennewick.
Before joining KNDU, Jessica could be seen on the sidelines as a reporter for the Sun Belt Network. She also served as a reporter for 247sports (a Rival's property) at all home and away football games for the USC Trojans.
Jessica graduated Summa Cum Laude from USC in May 2014 with a degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism. While at USC, Jessica served as an Executive Producer for Annenberg TV News, the school's student-run nightly news program. She has also worked for ESPN's "SportsNation," NBC's production of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, the Rose Bowl (2012-14), the 2014 BCS National Championship Game and NBC Nightly News.
Once upon a time, Jessica worked as a ball-girl for the 2002, '03 and '04 NCAA Finals Fours and had the privilege of wiping up sweat off the court from future hall of fame coaches Roy Williams, Jim Calhoun and Billy Donovan. She is not opposed to someday becoming the first adult ball-girl so that she can live a long and happy life underneath the basket during March Madness.

REBEKAH ROTH autobiography
I enjoyed a nearly thirty year airline career working as both a flight attendant and an international purser. I was trained as an emergency medical technician and served as a volunteer firefighter.
My expertise and training as a flight attendant allowed me to research the events of September 11, 2001, with an insider’s knowledge that eventually lead me to discover details and answers to some of the most haunting questions surrounding that infamous day in our history.
I enjoyed a very exciting life both in the air and on the ground and because of that, was encouraged by co-workers to write a book. As I began to do that, I discovered that ten of the accused 9/11 hijackers were still alive. Several of them were also airline employees employed with Saudi Arabia Airlines and that they had had their identifications stolen years prior to 9/11. At least four of the accused hijackers threatened to sue the U.S. Government and the FBI if they did not stop using their names and identities. That discovery, along with the refusal by the U.S. government to discontinue their false accusations; ignited my curiosity.
After thousands hours of research, using official government documents, print and video media from 9/11, and several books; I discovered that there were also at least two women involved in the 9/11 event. Using my personal knowledge of in-flight procedures, FAA hijacking protocols, the state of Massachusetts and cell phone technology, I discovered yet to be exposed details concerning the planes, the passengers and the perpetrators which are woven into Methodical Illusion.
This book is the result of my extensive research. It is based on real life events. It is written as a novel to protect me and my family from the repercussions that inevitably occur when you get too close to the truth. I am now considered by many to be a foremost expert on the events of September 11, 2001.
ABOUT 'Methodical Illusion' by Rebekah Roth...
I returned home on a flight from Rome where I was the purser for a major airline not many hours before the news of 9/11 hit. I had been a flight attendant for 28 years at the time and awoke to see a plane fly into the south tower of the World Trade Center. I may have been groggy, jet lagged and generally out of sorts, but I knew from training and experience that airplanes do not fly through buildings. Over the next 72 hours I remained glued to the television watching and listening in disbelief at what I saw and heard.
When the time was right I began to look at the occurrences of that fateful day from my perspective as a career flight attendant. I studied, dug, researched and questioned every aspect and angle of the events as they had been reported and what I found was so horrific I literally became ill. Emily Kennedy Talmage is a graduate of Amherst college and got her start teaching in New York City as part of the New York City Teaching Fellows Program. She taught elementary special education for three years and spent one year teaching at a charter school. Ms. Talmage then got a MA in Developmental Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University and worked as a research assistant at the National Center for Children and Families.
In 2012, she moved home to Maine with her husband and decided to go back into the classroom. Ms. Talmage has been teaching for four years in Lewistob Maine. She now teaches 4th grade.
She has recently become an outspoken education activist in the face of sweeping reforms taking place nationwide and in her state of Maine. She is the author of the blog Save Maine Schools.

Christine received the 2014 Helen Keller Personal Achievement Award from the American Foundation for the Blind, a recognition formerly bestowed upon Ray Charles, Patty Duke, and Stevie Wonder among others. Christine resides with her husband and two dogs in Houston, Texas.
