The Newsroom, Blogs, Articles, Featured Guests, Headlined Shows and Indie Music
Our program, like most everything in life, depends on many things in order to happen. This is why "It Depends" is the featured phrase of the week.
For you to take your next breath depends on so much-not the least of which is breathable air. And consider what life, let alone a really healthy life, depends on to sustain itself and grow in healthy ways.
Let's face it, we are a very dependent species, but……… are we dependable? Ay, there's the rub. We can determine a lot of what each of us depends upon to maintain ourselves, but here's the big question…….what does our dependability depend on?
That's what we'll be exploring in tonight's conversation. And since one of the things we depend on is being able to see things anew--from fresh perspectives, you can count on Rochelle and I to provide a variety of viewpoints. And, of course, we include the arts--music, characters, poetry and humor--to help us gain insights. You can depend on it.
So, please join us tonight at 7 PM (PT) or listen to the edited re-broadcast of our programs Sunday mornings at 8 AM (PT)
We are Errol & Rochelle Strider depending on you to help us maximize the impact of our message.

“There is only one great secret. To unlock the heart and allow the floodgate of unconditional love to enter.” Archangel Zadkiel, 2012: Awakening
Lisa Miliaresis speaks with us about her process of working with people through her gifts of mediumship. Lisa tells us about her book Being Light Driven and what she went through when she was young as she was trying to understand that she was communicating with people who have passed on. She talks to us about raising awareness around taking care of our whole being not just our physical bodies. Lisa talks to us about how our loved ones who have passed on are always available to us and to speak to them and be aware of the signs within and around us that they are sending us and tells us about some messages she has received.
Solomon simplifies for us the idea of speaking with an aspect of existence as a personality and how this being may yet still be experiencing a physical experience through reincarnation. They explain for us that as humans we find it difficult to understand existence outside the idea of linear experience. Solomon talks to us about using visualization in order to experience a feeling of experience without being within physical proximity to that desired thing.
David Low speaks with us about the importance of dream and what he feels they represent to us. He talks to us about types of dreams we have and the affects they have on us from the whole mind, body and spirit state. David feels that dreams are always speaking to us and we talk about some common symbols within dreams. David talks to us about journaling our dreams and how we can increase our dream recall. He talks to us about when we challenge ourselves in our lives we will notice that our dreams have better recall and are more intense giving us a better opportunity to interpret them.
Solomon talks to us about dreams and how it is up to us to decide for ourselves if dreams are something we wish to use to find guidance. Dreams are not always there for us to interpret but if we feel drawn to this idea then it is perhaps a sign from our higher selves to use our dreams as a tool for inner clarity. Solomon gives us many examples of tools we can draw from in order to discover our inner truths. Solomon talks about the possibilities that are available to us through dream analysis, which can help us, reach a greater understanding of ourselves.
CEO/Founder of the 'Candidates Platform', Political Community Activist and advocate for DC Statehood
Kathleen Gomez began her political career working for President Jimmy Carter's re-election campaign. She went on to work at the Democratic National Headquarters in Washington and was the Administrator for the Democratic National Convention which first nominated Bill Clinton for President. She has worked for several members of Congress including Jim Mattox of Texas and Congresswomen Pat Schroeder of Colorado. She has also worked for a national trade association and was a community activist and organizer for issues involving the New York City public school system. Kathleen moved from Manhattan back to her home town in Arizona, where she helped her father get elected Mayor. She holds a degree in International Service from American University in Washington, DC.
Kathleen also was the co-host on SHADOW POLITICS (on the BBS Radio Network every Sunday at 4:00pm PST / 7:00pm Eastern on Station 1) along side Democratic Senator Michael D. Brown of the District of Columbia. SHADOW POLITICS is a grass roots talk show giving a voice to the voiceless. For more than 200 years the people of the Nation's Capital have ironically been excluded from the national political conversation. With no voting member of either house of Congress, Washingtonians have lacked the representation they need to be equal and to have their voices heard. SHADOW POLITICS will provide a platform for them, as well as the millions of others nationwide who feel politically disenfranchised and disconnected, to be included in a national dialog .
Currently, Kathleen is the CEO/Founder of a new project called 'Candidates Platform' which provides a virtual 24/7 political platform that is affordable and easy to use for all candidates and free to the voter! 'Candidates Platform' gives a place for the common person who wants to get involved to connect their campaign with the voter. It offers a simple easy to use interface where a candidate can interact with their constituents, link all other social media, post videos and schedules and hear back from the voter. We also provide technical support for any questions or problems the candidate may encounter.
Knowing where to find information about local candidates without having to seek a vast number of websites and news sources is key to keeping the voter engaged. That is why the mission of the Candidates Platform is to provide a virtual 24-hour platform where the voter can become knowledgeable on where candidates stand on the issues.
Kathleen strongly believes that while national elections are very important, smaller elections down the ballet are just as vital to the continued strength of a nation. Due to this belief our service and information is free to the voter, providing the means for a better-educated and more knowledgeable voting base. Take a look at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2052224993/1696116936?token=be010573.
Kathleen is also a consultant for 'Statehood; No Other Way'. This is a nationwide campaign to get the word out about the disenfranchisement of the citizens of our Nation’s Capital. It is the start of a new movement to finally fulfill the promise of democracy for the residents of the District of Columbia by making DC the 51st state of the union, New Columbia. It recognizes that only through statehood will the citizens of our Nation’s Capital finally be equal members of the democracy that they have served, paid for and died to defend for more than 200 years.

Writer, Producer, Director, Filmmaker, Videographer, Editor, Writer, Effects Artist, Researcher of Metaphysics
Michael Perlin is the director, writer and producer of the Metaphysical film, "3 Magic Words" which reveals the common theme taught to us by all great spiritual masters. Michael believes that the problems we face in the world today are still going on because we live mostly on a "religious" planet and not a "spiritual" one. He believes there is an answer - a solution that can only come from a new spirituality that embraces a unifying reality of all the religions and sets aside the old ego-driven idea that there is only one true way.
Every filmmaker has their story, that they went against all odds and made the impossible happen and cut corners each step of the way with obstacles in their path. But my story is how I made something out of nothing. All I had was an idea; a dream and I had no idea how I was going to manifest it into reality. In 1994, I was living in Dallas Texas, fresh out of college with an economics degree. I was waiting tables at Macaroni Grill. The world that I lived in just didn’t seem right to me. We were still fighting wars over land, race and religion. Nobody seemed to care that this was still going on. It was like people just accepted it the way it was and wanted to stay oblivious to what was happening on our planet as a whole. But I never accepted it as the reality that I was going to live in and I set out to change it. I started to see a pattern-that there was actually a solution to the problem. There were so many spiritual ideas and teachings out there that seemed to be saying the same things about non-violence and love but in so many diverse ways. I saw this as part of the problem. So I decided that if I found this common theme, I would re-package it into a language for the common man and try to bring it to the world by the year 2012.
I stumbled upon an old book called “Three Magic Words by U.S. Andersen, and in it, was the answer I was searching for. This became the inspiration to create the movie and I made the move to Los Angeles. In 2006, with empty pockets, a little film knowledge and a video camera, I began the project. I got fired from my desk job and took a year off to write the screenplay for 3 Magic Words. The biggest challenge in making and completing the film was having no budget, and no experience- except for a short film (Skeptic) I tried to make that fell through the cracks. So I took on another desk job and I purchased my own equipment on credit cards. I threw a green screen up on the wall and with the help of my friend Maura Hoffman; I began contacting the authors, teachers and spiritual leaders who had the most impact on people’s lives. I had to wear practically every hat you can wear in filmmaking since I had little to no money. I tackled editing, animation, titles, graphics, cinematography, sound, color correction and all aspects of production. This film was made in four years on weekends with a full time job and a skeleton crew.
In November of 2010 we traveled to Tokyo and screened the movie in Japanese subtitles. It was a huge success. In April of 2010, we had our big Hollywood Premiere at the Harmony Gold Theater. We sold out 400 seats the day before the event. On August 22 we screened it in Santa Monica, California at the Laemmle Monica 4-plex where we sold out 3 times and had to continue to move into bigger theaters. It looks like Hollywood is finally ready for metaphysics.
After finishing the film I quit my job, sold my furniture, move out of my apartment and bought an RV to take the film on the road. Homeless and broke, I was able to finish the final director’s cut of the film to meet the deliverable requirements on my Macbook pro at Starbucks and land a Warner Bros. Digital Distribution Deal.
As we approach this auspicious date of Dec 21, 2012 (the end of the Mayan Calendar) and the beginning of a new world and a new shift in consciousness for humanity- we have chosen this date to create a cosmic celebration for Earth’s Entrance into the Golden Age by creating a conscious film experience with the 3 Magic Words European Premiere event in London. At the event, a Declaration of Consciousness will be announced to the world. World leaders, prime ministers, presidents and celebrities will sign this document. This is the moment of truth- the day of the final hour when we will all find out if 3 words really can change the world. I hope they will.
