Dr. Charles Tart - Charles T. Tart studied electrical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before deciding to become a psychologist. He received his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1963, and then postdoctoral training with Ernest R. Hilgard at Stanford University. He is currently a Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the Davis campus of the University of California, a Senior Fellow at the Institute of Noetic Sciences in Petaluma, California, and Core Faculty at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology.
