Hey everybody, good to see you today. We're going to do an exciting show called "Time No Longer." Is time running out? What is time?

We're not going to go into great detail on that today. That is another message. I have written a chapter called "The Mystery of Time" in The Mystery of Jubilee book. Many of you have that book. But we are not going to explain all of that today. We are going to start with Revelation 10:6.

Let me read this verse for you, and then we will tell you what we are going to discuss. I think it is going to be helpful and encouraging, because when you begin to realize that time is literally running out, you begin to understand that this thing is almost over.

I do not think our brains always work that way. I do not think we really think it can happen. We think we are going to be here forever. Mentally, we know we are all going to die someday, but we do not really think it is going to come to us. We say the rapture is coming soon, but we do not dwell on that like we should.

Let me read Revelation 10:6: "And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein," and then He makes this statement: "that there should be time no longer."

What is He saying there? He is saying there is coming a time when time is going to end. Try to wrap your brain around that. How can there be no time?

Very simply, outside of our universe there is no such thing as time. I believe God created this universe - not just the earth, but the universe. Everything you see when you look into the sky, and a whole lot more that you cannot see, God created in Genesis 1 and 2 inside time and space.

Space means you can touch things and see things. Time means we have 24-hour days, daylight, nighttime, months, years, decades, centuries, and millenniums. I believe God created this thing to be here for 7,000 years: 6,000 years, and then the kingdom age.

We are going to share some things with you about that. I hope you catch what we are trying to say. We are trying to tell you that we could be in the final year. I do not know. We could be in the final decade. We could be in the final three years. I do not know. But if our calendar is close to being accurate - and that is an if - then there are not many years left. It may be that there are no years left and the rapture is coming soon, or there could be a year or two.

Are you ready to meet the Lord? Are you ready for that trumpet to sound and take you out of here? Let me ask you this: are your loved ones saved? Is your spouse saved? Are your children saved? Do not tell me you are ready if your loved ones are not saved. Do you want to leave and leave them here for the tribulation?

We have to get busy. We are going to try to show you the truth of what we are talking about. This is the 6,000 years and then the kingdom age. We are going to show you some things in the Bible that we think prove what we are saying is true. I think it is going to be exciting. I think you are going to learn something. Some of you have heard this before, but I think this will help you get a firmer understanding of it and encourage you to see that time is running out. We had better get busy getting our loved ones saved. We will be right back. Stay tuned.

Welcome everybody. Glad to have you with us today on our show. We are going to talk about the 7,000-year earth. I sometimes call it the 6,000-year earth, because after the 6,000 years the Second Coming happens, and then the kingdom age lasts for 1,000 years.

Either way, it is 7,000 years. But I often call it the 6,000-year earth because it is the 6,000-year earth before Christ comes and dwells here for that final Sabbath, that seventh day. It is 6,000 years for the world as we know it, because the 7,000th year is going to be a restored earth for the millennial reign.

I wrote a book on that.

We should have thought about that. What is it called?

The Restored Earth for the Millennial Reign.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:

Doc, there was another verse I wanted to start the program with. We decided to use Revelation instead, but 2 Peter 3:8 is a very important verse. I was looking at this while we were getting ready to start the program, and it seems even stronger than I had thought. It says, "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

I got to thinking about this. He did not just say a day with the Lord is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. He first said, "Beloved, be not ignorant." Then he said, "this one thing." He said you need to understand that a day with God is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like a day.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
And in this context, he is talking about creation itself. It is verse 8 in a chapter with 18 verses. The entire chapter is prophetic in nature all the way to verse 18. The first seven verses take us back to Genesis 1.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
Exactly.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
The first four days of creation. When you keep that verse in context, a day with the Lord is a thousand years, and the context is the week of creation - seven days. It fits like a glove.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
Oh yes. If the world is 7,000 years, as we believe it is, this is one reason we believe it. If you want to know how it all ends, go back to the beginning. He tells the end from the beginning. In the first two chapters of our Bible, God told us how long we were going to be here.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
And of course, one of the verses we often use in Isaiah says He declares the end from the beginning. He knows how the end is going to be before He ever starts the beginning, because He sits outside of time and space. He can see the timeline beginning with Adam and creation, and He can see the final Great White Throne. He sees it all.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
Absolutely. Not because He made everything happen, although there are certain things He said and certain things He did. But a lot of what we call prophecy is not God causing all of it to happen. It is God writing history in advance - what humanity would do, and what the consequences and reactions would be. When we see those things happening, it helps us realize how close down the road we are in time.

What we are saying here is that we believe 2 Peter is pointing out that those six days of creation represent 6,000 years of human history.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
I agree. I had a preacher friend who used to preach with me in prophecy conferences. I would often ask him to preach his message on the seven days of creation. He would have men stand on the platform. He would say, "Okay, you are Adam." Then he would bring another man up and say, "Okay, you are the thousand years." Then he would have 2,000, 3,000, and 4,000. That is when God created the light, the sun and the moon, and Jesus is the light of the world. He shows up at the end of the 4,000 years. It was amazing how he illustrated that.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
This is important. This is showing us that we are going to be here 6,000 years, and then the Second Coming happens. Christ is going to set up the kingdom for day seven, which is the day of rest. God rested on the seventh day. That is a giant Sabbath. It is the millennial reign. I tell people, will God be late for the Sabbath? Is He going to say, "I cannot come yet. I have some things that have to happen, so I will extend this"? No. It is not going to be extended. It is going to be a perfect 7,000-year earth.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
That brings us to a verse we talked about a while ago, that God does everything decently and in order. Creation was in order. How God deals with man is in order. God's whole plan for redemption is in order.

It all starts with this: do you believe what God said in His Bible? Do you believe the Word of God? Will you let it be your dictionary and your commentary? If you do, then we have a plan that God revealed in a segment of sevens: creation week representing a section of 7,000 years from beginning to end of time.

But that is not the only thing God gave us. He also gave us other numbers. He gave us the Jubilee calendar. He knew how man would set up a worship of the sun, which is what our solar calendar is. The Jews had the lunar calendar. But God always had in His mind a perfect number of 360.

The Jubilee, if you start with creation - and I realize the Jubilee was instituted with Moses, but not in God's mind - goes back to Genesis 6, where God said man's days would be 120 years.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
Yes.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
After God talked about the flood coming, He said, "My spirit shall not always strive with man," and then said man's days would be 120 years. I think He is saying 120 Jubilee generations. In 6,000 years, there are 120 fifty-year periods, which are Jubilees.

In my blog, Walk Through Time with Doc, I just finished the section on Genesis 6. When you do the math between the ages given to us, you realize it did not take 120 years from the time God spoke to Noah until the flood. It took about 98 years to complete the project, not 120.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
That is right. His children were born when he was 500, and he was 600 when the flood came. So it seems that the 120 was an added statement.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
A hint that this is how long God would strive with man.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
We not only have the 7,000-year time based on a thousand years as a day; we also have the Jubilee calendar. Then, as we pointed out in an update, we have the 1,260 and 2,520-day numbers that revolve around the number seven.

I want to show them something in Hosea chapter 6.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
Yes.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
It goes along with what you just said in Peter. If you do not understand the thousand years as a day, this is not going to make sense. Hosea 6:1-2 says, "Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight."

This is Israel. It is not us. It is Israel saying, "Come and let us return unto the Lord." He has torn them. He has put them into captivity. He has scattered them and brought enemies against them to judge them. He has torn, and He will heal them. He has smitten, and He will bind them up.

Look at verse 2. This is amazing. "After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight."

Could this be talking about literal days? Could this be two literal days or three literal days?

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
No.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
They have been torn, scattered, and smitten for almost 2,000 years.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
And they are about to be drawn back. They are returning, and He is going to heal them.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
After two days, or 2,000 years, the rapture happens, the tribulation begins, and in the middle of the tribulation Israel gets saved - at least the 144,000. Things are going to change rapidly for them then.

The third day is the kingdom age. The 2,000 years of the church age are followed by the third day, the kingdom age, when He raises them up and they live in His sight. The kingdom age is about the Jews.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
That is exactly right.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
So that is another verification that there is a 2,000-year period of time and another 1,000-year period. We have 4,000 years in the Old Testament. If anyone has seen my PowerPoint slides where I give my timeline - and I am sure you do it too - we have about 4,000 from creation to the cross, and 2,000 for the church age.

Not only do we see it here in Hosea, but also in Matthew 17.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
I am going there next.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
Go ahead. Take us there.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
Matthew 17 gives us the story of what we call the Transfiguration, because Christ is going to be glorified in front of two men, Moses and Elijah, and three of the disciples, Peter, James, and John.

Let us read this and see if the audience catches something in the very first verse. Matthew 17:1-2 says, "And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, and was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light." Then verse 3 says, "And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him."

Now folks, did any of you see that? Did you catch it? The first verse says, "after six days."

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
Amen. A day with the Lord is a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
Why is this in the Bible? Why did God put this in the Bible? Why did He say those exact days? He could have just said there was a day. I did my due diligence. I went back to chapter 16. I was trying to ask, six days from what? What does "after six days" mean?

I went all the way back in chapter 16, trying to find out what came just before this. There is nothing that explains it that way. He simply said, "after six days," He takes Peter, James, and John - a picture of the saints - up into a mountain, the mountain of the Lord. Two men come down: Moses and Elijah. They are the two witnesses during the tribulation.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
Wow. After six days - that would be 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 5,000, 6,000 years. Then one more day, or one more thousand, is the millennial reign.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
All of that follows the Second Coming of the Lord.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
Yes. You have the rapture. Peter, James, and John are a type of the rapture. He takes them up. As soon as they go up, those two men come down to the earth where Peter just was. Now Moses and Elijah are there.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
That is right.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
What is their job? They are talking to Jesus. They see His glorified body. I believe the two men in white apparel may be these two men. I cannot prove this, but I suspect Moses and Elijah are at the tomb witnessing the resurrection. They are going to preach that. A witness has to have seen something. If they are the two witnesses - and they are the two candlesticks, the two lights, the two witnesses - then I am convinced they have to have seen something.

They talk with Jesus. We are not told what they talk about. Nowhere in the Bible that I know of explains the discussion. But they talk. He receives His glorified body momentarily, just for a few moments, and they see Him. I think it is all about their coming back. They have to have an eyewitness account to witness about.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
For our teaching today, it is obvious again that this is after six days, or at the end of the 6,000-year period of time. At the end of the 6,000th year, He takes the saints up. It never says He takes the church up, but He takes the saints out, represented by Peter, James, and John. Then the tribulation begins with the two witnesses coming down.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
Absolutely. The Antichrist will make the covenant in Daniel 9:27. That is going to happen. Another part of the earth will happen, and the two witnesses show up in Jerusalem. They are hated. That is pretty much close to the end of the 6,000 years, the 6,000th year after six days.

So it is pretty obvious that in God's purpose, the world is not 10,000 years old. The world is not a billion or a million years old. Evolution is a con game that is not borne out with facts. Evolution is not science. Evolution is a religion. Bottom line.

People come along with questions. I had a question posted to me this week. Supposedly NASA has said we are receiving some kind of pulsating signal from a star that is 15,000 light-years away, or something like that. The question was, if that has been traveling back to us for 15,000 years, how do you answer that, Dr. Hiltibidal?

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
I help them understand that when you understand the week of creation, on day number four God put the stellar heavens together. In your Bible, the Bible tells you that God stretched out the heavens. The sound did not start out there and make its way back here. We discovered a sound that actually started here and was stretched out there from the beginning.

Again, we have to ask Christians: if we say we are going to believe what the Bible says, that "whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved," then we must also allow the Bible to be the authority on creation and what it says.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
There are a couple of verses here we could look to. By the way, Moses wrote Psalm 90.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
Yes, he did.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
It is interesting what Moses said about this thousand years. He said, "For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night." So that is a day. It is like a thousand years. Then in verse 12 he says, "So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." That means it is not wrong for us to look at these numbers.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
Absolutely not. And if it is a 6,000-year earth and then the Lord comes, are we getting pretty close to that? I tell folks all the time, prophecy is like a glove that works with the hand of evangelism. They work together when they are properly done. What we are talking about helps us understand that we must be very, very near to the end of that sixth day.

What is coming on day seven? That means our opportunities as believers are not only to experience a life of faith here, but also to share the gospel with lost people. We ought to want to share the gospel with our lost family.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
There is one more little tidbit in Matthew 17 that I left out about the Transfiguration. As I told the audience, I went back to chapter 16, verse 1, and read the whole chapter. I was looking for a clue: after six days, after what? There was nothing that answered it that way.

But what I did find was in the last verse of chapter 16, right before Matthew 17:1 says, "after six days." What is the verse right before that? It says, "Verily I say unto you..."

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
This is amazing.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
"There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom."

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
Yes.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
He is talking about the coming of the kingdom and some not tasting death. Then look what happens next. Figuratively, they experience Jesus in His glorified body. There is proof at the end of that chapter of what chapter 17 means. Figuratively speaking, He is talking about a future generation that is going to be here and will not taste death.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
Amen. That is us. Those who are right there at that door.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
Amen.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
When you couple this, Dan, with all of the prophecies that we find and have some understanding of, we have to realize that the fulfillment of prophecy is preparing the world stage for the tribulation. It is here.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
Yes.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
When you put all that together, you realize we are at the end of that 6,000th year. It is real. Israel is almost on their own now. Even America is beginning to turn.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
That is right. The Bible says Israel is going to be that troublesome stone. When you look at the Middle East conflict, no matter which way you look at it, you can see the fulfillment of prophecy on the horizon from every angle.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
When you add to that the prophecies concerning the Laodicean era of the church age, it really is a world situation. We are at a place where it does not seem like God's people are serious anymore. They are not serious about responsibilities. They are not serious about being faithful to the house of God. They are not serious about anything as long as they have added Jesus to their life, they think.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
Yes. When you realize there is a 6,000-year period and then something major is going to happen - that tribulation - and then the seventh day is going to come, it ought to motivate us. That is one of the reasons why we do what we do. We are not trying to impress anybody with our knowledge. If we have any understanding, it is because the Holy Spirit gave it to us.

We are trying to motivate people to realize time is really running out. We need to live like God's people ought to live. We need to quit trying to make the world into our lives and instead bring Christ into the world through our lives.

The tract I wrote and carry all the time is called Time Is Running Out. I use the tribulation in the tract to get people's attention. That is why we are involved in prophecy like we are. We are not trying to impress anybody or say, "We know something you do not know." No. We are trying to motivate God's people to do what God's people ought to do.

I do not have time to read it, but throughout history, all the way back to 150 A.D., 300 A.D., and 1552, I have quotes from people who believed in a 6,000-year period just like I do.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
Absolutely. This is nothing new.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
No, it is not new. It is just kind of lost in our generation, I think.

Now in closing - we have about 40 seconds left - let me simply say this. You might look at your count and say, "4,000 years in the Old Testament, and this is 2026. Brother Goodwin, are we not already into 6,026 today?"

No, because we started the count at the wrong place. We have no idea. The Gregorian Catholic count began with the birth of Christ. They began counting the church age years at the wrong place. The rending of the veil, or somewhere after that, is where the clock should have started.

Speaker 2 - Dr. Charles Hiltibidal:
Probably right.

Speaker 1 - Daniel Goodwin:
That is somewhere around 30 A.D., which means 2030 would be the end of the 6,000 years, even if we understand there is no year zero in between.

Yes.
