The People Speak Guest, Erin Brockovich May 09, 2017
Enviromental Activist/Consumer Advocate

Erin Brockovich is best known for her involvement in one of the largest direct action lawsuits in U.S. history and is the subject of the 2000 film 'Erin Brockovich.'

Synopsis

Consumer advocate and environmental activist Erin Brockovich was born in Kansas in 1960. While working as a file clerk at a Los Angeles law firm in 1992, Brockovich uncovered documents that ultimately led to more than 600 residents of Hinkley, California, filing a lawsuit against utility giant PG&E. The $333 million settlement they received is the largest of its kind in the history of the United States. The story of Brokovich’s life and involvement in the case was the subject of the 2000 film Erin Brockovich, which starred Julia Roberts in the title role. Since the film’s release, Erin Brockovich has continued to work as a consumer advocate and environmental activist.

Early Life

Consumer advocate and environmental activist Erin Brockovich was born Erin Pattee in Lawrence, Kansas, on June 22, 1960. The youngest of four children, she grew up in a tightknit middle-class family. Her father was an industrial engineer, and her mother was a journalist. Diagnosed as dyslexic at a young age, Erin was not a particularly good student. After graduating high school in 1978, Erin briefly attended Kansas State University before transferring to Miss Wade's Fashion Merchandising College (now Wade College) in Dallas, Texas, where she graduated with an associate’s degree in applied arts in 1980.

After earning her degree, Erin moved with a friend to Newport Beach, California. After working briefly as a management trainee at Kmart, in 1981 she quit and entered and won the Miss Pacific Coast beauty pageant. She also met her first husband, Shawn Brown, around this time, whom she married in April 1982. The young couple moved around the country for the next few years, during which time Erin gave birth to two children, Matthew and Katie. However, their marriage eventually fell apart, and they were divorced in 1987.

Now a single mother, to support her children Erin found work as an assistant at a brokerage firm in Reno, Nevada, where she met Steve Brockovich. They married in 1989 but divorced within a year, at which point Erin learned she was pregnant with her third child, Elizabeth. The events that followed would set Erin Brockovich on the path to her eventual fame.

Hinkley and Hollywood

Shortly after her divorce, Brockovich was involved in a severe car accident that necessitated her having neck surgery. She then moved to Los Angeles’s San Fernando Valley, where she was referred by a friend to the law firm Masry & Vititoe, whom she hired to represent her in her accident case. Brokovich was eventually awarded a small settlement, but not enough to support her family with. Feeling sorry for her, in 1992 attorney Ed Masry offered her a clerical job at the firm.

One day, while filing documents for a real estate case involving the utility giant Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), Brockovich noticed that the paperwork included blood samples. Her suspicions aroused, she asked Masry permission to look into the matter further. In subsequent visits to the California desert town of Hinkley, Brockovich eventually uncovered evidence linking a rash of illnesses there to high levels of hexavalent chromium found in the drinking water. When the pollution was eventually traced back to the PG&E compressor station in Hinkley, more than 600 hundred of the town’s residents hired Masry & Vititoe in 1993 to represent them. After information surfaced during the trial that suggested PG&E had been aware of and tried to cover up the pollution, the case was settled in 1996 for $333 million, the largest in United States history for a case of its kind.

For her part in bringing the case to the firm, Brockovich received a fee of $2.5 million. But the publicity that the case received also brought Brockovich to the attention of Danny DeVito’s production company, Jersey Films, who bought the rights to Brockovich’s story in 1995.

Julia Roberts as Brockovich

Released in 2000, the film Erin Brockovich stars Julia Roberts as Brockovich and Albert Finney as Masry in a mostly accurate recounting of the Hinkley lawsuit. It also features a cameo by Brockovich herself, who appears briefly onscreen as a waitress. The movie was a major critical and commercial success, earning more than $250 million worldwide and receiving multiple Academy Award nominations. For her performance as Brockovich, Julia Roberts won the award for Best Actress.

Galactic Connection Guest, Sheldan Nidle May 09, 2017
Representative and Lecturer for the Galactic Federation of Light

Sheldan Nidle was born in New York City on Nov. 11, 1946, and grew up in Buffalo, New York. His first extraterrestrial and UFO experiences began shortly after his birth and were highlighted all through his childhood by various modes of contact phenomena, as well as accompanying manifestations - light-form communications, extraterrestrial visitations, and teaching/learning sessions on board spacecraft. During most of his life, he has enjoyed ongoing telepathic communications and direct 'core knowledge' inserts (etheric and physical implants). Sheldan has visually observed and physically experienced spacecraft throughout the years.

Around the age of fourteen, Sheldan requested that the Sirians and their Galactic Federation of Light Allies discontinue communications with him because he was experiencing overwhelming conflict between their scientific knowledge and what he was learning here on Earth. They left, but the Sirians and their Galactic Federation of Light Allies told him that they would be back when it was time to complete his mission for planet Earth and her people. In high school, he was placed in advanced science programs in subject areas such as physics, chemistry, and calculus.

Sheldan received an M.A. in Political Science from the University at Buffalo in 1968. He also received an M.A. in Southeast Asian Government from Ohio University in 1970 and an M.A. in American Politics and International Public Administration from the University of Southern California, where he also pursued a Ph.D. program (1974-76). In the 1970s, he was Vice-President for Scientific Programming at Syntar Productions, where he co-created a documentary on the life and accomplishments of Nikola Tesla. From the 1970s through the mid-1980s, he was involved in scientific research on alternative sources of electrical energy. In the mid-1980s, his extraterrestrial contacts resumed. Currently, Sheldan is a representative and lecturer for the Galactic Federation of Light and, in November 1997, founded the Planetary Activation Organization (PAO).

Life Changes Show Guest, David Longoria May 08, 2017
Grammy® Award–Winning Producer, Trumpet Virtuoso, Instrumentalist, Recording Artist, and Music Innovator,

DAVID LONGORIA

The Artist
2016 has seen the launch of David Longoria’s newest Dance (EDM) Instrumental single “ANGELS”. This record features David’s trumpet mastery using stylistic ideas from classical music, combined with the current dance sounds. The song started out with an improvised trumpet performance, after which an EDM track and production were added. The result is the unique, catchy and quite advanced dance production. The uplifting song is gathering momentum worldwide as it heats up dance floors and climbs the Billboard charts.

David just released his much anticipated GROUNDBREAKING Instrumental album “The Journey” with some of the very freshest new music ever created. The follow up single release is David’s tribute to the 30th Anniversary of Michael Jackson and Lionel Ritchie’s “We Are The World”. It’s a historic song called “WE ARE ONE” and features the combined performances of more than 600 recording artists from many genres of music as well as many races and cultures, all singing together in and about unity.

The new album is set in an EDM soundscape, where 12 songs written by David and in collaboration with with Remixer/Producer Robert Eibach feature the unique and groundbreaking contemporary Instrumental work of David’s trumpet and other great world class musicians.

The Backstory
DAVID LONGORIA was born at a very early age. He began singing along with his aunt Betty as she practiced her opera. It raised a few eyebrows as he was only 6 months old. He developed a love for music right away. He started playing the drums and moved to the clarinet. As a 9 year old, his fingers were not big enough to cover the keys. It was at the tender age of 10 he watched trumpet great AL HIRT perform on tv. “That moment I knew I wanted to play the trumpet”, says Longoria. “I immediately threw my clarinet down on the couch and said I HAVE to do that!” Growing up poor was a challenge when David decided to learn to play the trumpet. “I asked my parents how I could get a trumpet and they suggested I earn a little money and buy a used one. I found an old golden trumpet hanging in the window of Ben’s Loan in my little town. Dino, the owner was amused that I wanted to buy it with my $5 as a down payment, but he started a layaway for me and about a year and a half later that little beauty was mine, all mine. Sixty Five Dollars is hard to raise in a hurry when you’re ten and poor”, he remembers. “I loved and appreciated that trumpet so much for all the hard work it was to get.” David had the same trumpet gold plated and still plays it to this day.

The Salvation Army offered music lessons to build their local brass band so David joined the band and learned to play there. They loaned him a horn to play as he proved he was a wiling and able student. “I played every Sunday at the church and it really taught me how to play and to be dedicated. I practiced every day of my childhood in my front yard. There are still a few neighbors I want to apologize to”, he says. He discovered such great players as Dizzy Gillespie, Herb Alpert, Miles Davis, Arturo Sandoval Maurice Andre and Maynard Ferguson. “Each of these players brought something different to the table. I was inspired to learn from all of them”, he recounts. “Playing for Dizzy Gillespie was an eye-opener for me, David says. “One time I played a jazz solo and Dizzy said to me ‘I really dug your solo’ to which I said ‘nah… I can play better than that’. Dizzy was offended and said ‘Don’t EVER insult me like that! When someone says they dug your solo just shut up and say thank you. Otherwise you are telling them they have bad taste’. I never made that mistake again!” He went on to play the trumpet for many other artists including Foreigner, Buddy Rich, James Brown, and Marvin Gaye.

When he was 17 he put together his first original music which was released as a contemporary jazz album titled MONTAGE. He featured amazing talents WALT WAGNER on piano, GRANT REEVES, sax and more musicians that he convinced to join his debut project. Releasing it on his own, he learned to distribute and promote the record even without the backing of established labels. He sold several thousand copies across the US and Canada before moving to Los Angeles to continue his career. It was there that he performed at Six Flags Magic Mountain, Disneyland and many other places. He played his trumpet on hundreds of commercials, TV shows and movie soundtracks as a studio musician. In the evenings David donned a tuxedo and played “casuals”, the term musicians call gigs at weddings, birthday parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceaneras, and just about anywhere else you can imagine.

One thing led to another and eventually David found himself performing as a recording artist in Europe and the USA. Enjoying this even more than playing Bar Mitzvahs, David did his best to forget the melody to Hava Nagila and instead wrote many songs and performed them across Europe and more recently the USA. Combining Latin styles, dance styles and Jazz, David found he could create a unique blend that was understandable, memorable and still had a beat you could dance to.

In 2012 David released his instrumental dance pop single Zoon Baloomba which immediately climbed the US Billboard Charts to #21. It made history as the first Instrumental song to become a national hit on this chart since Herb Alpert did it with his hit “RISE” in 1979.

In 2014 David Longoria released his TV Special Baila! to PBS & Public TV Stations across America. The 60 minute HD Special was taped in front of a live audience in Southern California with a complete band, singers, many dancers and guest stars. The show can also be viewed online in it’s entirety at pbsspecials.org .

In 2014 and 2015 the TV Special was broadcast across the US, Canada, Europe, Asia and South America on Commercial TV Stations. David released his album Baila! which featured dance hits Zoon Baloomba, Reflection, So Cool! and Deeper Love (featuring dance diva Cece Peniston) as well as contemporary jazz songs Loving Life (featuring Chris Standring), Sunset (featuring Marc Antoine) and A Castle In Spain (featuring Ottmar Liebert).

In 2025, Longoria earned a GRAMMY® Award, solidifying his status as one of today’s most versatile and inventive producers. Over his career, he has collaborated with a wide range of artists across pop, R&B, EDM, jazz, and world music—earning multiple Billboard chartings and performing on iconic stages worldwide.

At the age of 10 a young, ambitious David Longoria began learning to read music and to play the trumpet from dedicated retired officers teaching at the local Salvation Army in Renton, Washington. Coming from a financially challenged farm family, he thrived with the opportunity that would otherwise have not been affordable. This led to a successful career in music, with this year winning the industry’s top award.

The benevolence of the Salvation Army has not been forgotten and Longoria consistently supports the Army’s efforts to educate and help those in need. Over the years he has directly taught more than 500 kids music through corps and camps in California, Washington, Hawaii and New York.

As a trumpet virtuoso, Longoria’s sound is instantly recognizable: melodic, cinematic, and emotionally expressive. His recordings and live performances have garnered millions of streams and a global fan base. As a producer, he has crafted high-impact musical storytelling for albums, singles, film projects, and now audio books.

Longoria produced the 2026 GRAMMY®-nominated audio book Elvis, Rocky & Me: The Carol Connors Story, helping bring the legendary songwriter’s story to life with musicality, emotional depth, and cinematic flair.

A dedicated advocate for music education and unity through the arts, Longoria has taught and inspired thousands of young musicians, championed collaborative creative projects, and continues to break new ground both in the studio and onstage.

Peaceful Planet Guest, James Murray May 06, 2017
Graphic Artist, Designer, Medium and Movie Actor

Bios:

Robert Murray (AKA Bob or Father Murray)

For more than 30 years, Robert had been communicating with "people" who crossed over. Before he channeled, he mentally set up psychic protection for himself. He then sat down with pen and paper and later at his computer in his home where he received the messages. When he received messages from Michael or anyone else, he tuned in and wrote or typed their messages on the computer. He could be called a receiver. He had to find the correct station and there had to be some fine tuning. He heard voices and saw pictures. An interaction took place. He was conscious and quite aware of his surroundings while he wrote. During his conversations with the "people," he saw them in their surroundings and sensed their feelings and emotions while they spoke. All this came through him and was recorded by him. He had developed the ability to slow down the messages and wrote them accurately. This was not automatic writing, but rather transcribing what he actually heard. He had also written books containing a diary of messages from his son-in-law, Michael.

James Murray

Bob's son, James Murray is now channeling messages and creating drawings of his visits and experiences with the Other Side.

The artist James Murray's page has information about the afterlife, his dream drawings, psychic images, the book "The Stars Still Shine", life after death and the after life.

James Murray has been drawing most of his life. As a young child even before he could talk, he was creating "little" pictures to communicate. He is a professionally trained artist and has several years experience as an animator in graphic arts.

Why Am I So Happy Guest, Tom Paladino May 04, 2017
Researcher, scientist, healer

Scalar energy is the fundamental life force found everywhere in the world, space and universe. It originates from the sun and stars. Chi, prana, OM, mana, life force, pyramid energy or zero-point energy are synonymous terms for scalar energy.

I began research with scalar energy during my undergraduate years. Inspired by various scientists, especially Nikola Tesla (a genius who invented alternating current), I was curious to learn more about the existence of an energy that was not of the electromagnetic spectrum. I pursued a course of independent study in order to better understand and subsequently harness scalar energy, as this emerging science is not taught at the university level.

One of my scientific predecessors was T. Galen Hieronymus, a resident of Georgia and one of the few scalar energy researchers in the United States in the last century. I read Galen's notes and used his instruments after his death.

Some of Galen's inventions, according to a 1977 magazine article, were "quasielectronic instruments that could (a) analyze the component elements of an ore sample without spectroscopic, chemical or other orthodox methods, and, most surprising of all, (b) influence (even kill) living organisms, even from vast distances, with no scientifically understandable mechanism at the other end."

I theorized that all energy in the universe initiates as scalar energy; and that the sun of our solar system and the stars of the universe are the points of origin, "the storehouses," for scalar energy. I further theorized that scalar energy is instructive energy, as the entire universe is instructed by this Divine Essence. Subsequently, all spiritual, cognitive, emotional and physical action in the universe is initiated and maintained by scalar energy instructions. Scalar energy provides order in the universe.

Based on these theories and the work of scientists who came before me, I was able to develop scalar energy instruments capable of harnessing and transmitting instructive energy to heal human subjects remotely. You can think of this as similar to a radio broadcast with my instruments as the broadcaster, and your body as the receiver. The difference is that the energy transmitted is not electromagnetic, and is therefore immeasurable by traditional science.

My instruments provide a remote, fast, harmless and painless treatment process that has successfully healed patients with HIV/AIDS, Ebola, herpes, hepatitis, Lyme disease, and over 400,000 pathogens that cause disease. They administer the scalar energy reverse-phase angle harmonic of a pathogen, thereby causing that agent of infection to disassemble or fall apart. Bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoan, can all be disassembled, representing a cure for thousands of diseases. Once the causative agent of a pathogen disease has been eliminated, the symptoms associated with that infection decrease or disappear altogether.

Lab experiments were conducted in 2015 that served to prove that my scalar energy pathogen cleanse disassembles and subsequently destroys micro-organisms at a distance by way of a photograph.

An independent, out-of-state laboratory submitted magnified photographs of various species of living protozoan to me to be treated by way of the scalar energy instrument. Four experiments were conducted in which various species of Paramecium, Volvox, Amoeba, Euglena and Stentor were treated with scalar energy, resulting in these protozoa being disassembled and subsequently destroyed.

The lab experiments were video recorded in order to substantiate the efficacy of the scalar energy pathogenic cleanse to disassemble and destroy pathogens. You can check my websites to see the results!

Tom Paladino is a scalar energy researcher based in Florida. For full details on how you can receive scalar energy treatments remotely, call 805.364.3051.
