KIRSTEN AGRESTA COPELY is a GRAMMY®-nominated, international award-winning harpist and composer based in New York City. Her career has taken her across the United States, Europe, South America, Israel, Japan, and the South Pacific. She has performed for heads of state, appeared on major late-night television shows, and shared the stage with renowned artists at some of the world’s most iconic venues.

Classically trained, Kirsten began performing professionally at a young age, including a solo tour of the British Isles by age fourteen and debuting as a concerto soloist at Carnegie Hall. Highlights of her career include world premieres at Lincoln Center and performances at prestigious events such as the White House State Dinner for President Barack Obama and the 2023 MET Gala.

Her charismatic stage presence and versatility have led to performances on major TV shows including Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show, and Late Night with Stephen Colbert. She has appeared at landmark venues such as Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl, collaborating live with artists like Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Florence + The Machine, and more.

In the recording studio, Kirsten is a sought-after harpist featured on albums by prominent artists and on numerous film, television, and video game soundtracks.

Kirsten served as Associate Professor of Harp at Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music from 2017 to 2021. She holds degrees from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music and has been recognized with multiple awards for her artistry. She serves on the World Harp Congress Board of Directors and is active with The Recording Academy (NARAS) and ASCAP.
