Dr. Jonathan Stein received his bachelor's degree with Honors in Biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz. He then completed his graduate studies at the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Houston with a focus on developmental genetics (Masters) and then molecular and cancer genetics (Doctorate). He completed his postdoctoral studies in molecular and cancer genetics at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Texas Medical Center. Dr. Stein has published several papers on genetics, received several grants, and been honored with numerous awards. In addition, he has successfully managed large-scale commercial laboratory operations.

About SpectraCell Laboratories
SpectraCell is a CLIA accredited laboratory that services healthcare providers nationwide by providing an innovative assessment of a patient's nutritional status. Unlike traditional serum, hair and urine tests, SpectraCell's patented FIA(TM) (Functional Intracellular Analysis) process evaluates how an individual's cells respond to varied environments of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants. By measuring the functionality of specific vitamins, minerals and antioxidants in a patient's own cells, personal differences in age, genetics, health, prescription drug usage, absorption rate or other factors are taken into consideration, opening a true "window on intracellular function."
