ACTING

Ildiko’s screen credits include: Alaska Daily (ABC), Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist S2 (NBC), Marley, Someone, Lost in Space S2 (Netflix) and Deadly Class S1 (Syfy). Theatre credits: Babes in The Woods (Don’t Look Away/Redline Productions), A Man With Five Children (Darlinghurst Theatre Company), Henry V (Bell Shakespeare Company), The Players (Bell Shakespeare Company), Asylum (Apocalypse Theatre Company) and A View From Moving Widows (Riverside Theatres). Web series credits: Fragments of Friday (Endemol Productions). Ildiko has also worked in various short films, commercials and voice overs.

WRITING

Ildiko is a staff writer on Virgin River season 6 (Netflix). She made her television writing debut on Netflix’s Virgin River season 5 with episode 9, “Angel’s Peak”. Additionally, Ildiko wrote, produced, directed, and starred in her debut feature film, Marley, Someone which won the Audience Choice Award at the Sydney Lift-Off Film Festival 2022, was a Semi-Finalist in the Toronto Independent Film Festival of Cift 2021, and made the official selection in the Vancouver Independent Film Festival 2021. Ildiko is a Netflix-BANFF Diversity of Voices participant which afforded her the opportunity to pitch her comedy series at the BANFF World Media Festival 2021. Ildiko has been the Script & Clearance Coordinator on Virgin River S4 & S5 (Netflix) and the Script Coordinator on Psych 3: This is Gus (Peacock). Ildiko wrote The Day the Galaxy Inevitably Exploded and Died which was shortlisted in Queensland Theatre Company’s Young Playwright’s Program. Ildiko produced and performed in this play for Backbone Youth Arts’ 2high Festival and the Sydney Fringe Festival where it was nominated for the Best of Theatre Award.

TRAINING & AFFILIATION

Ildiko graduated with distinction from a Bachelor of Theatre Arts – Acting degree from the University of Southern Queensland. She is a recipient of a Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarship which enabled her to train at the Atlantic Acting School (NYC), The Second City (Chicago) and Bramon Garcia Braun (LA). She has been a core member and social media manager of the Women in Theatre & Screen (WITS Australia) and a committee member of the Equity Diversity Committee (Australia).
