The Art of Synergy
Introduction:
What is Synergy? It’s an art! It’s what you create when you come together with people.
Overview:
The 2 things that people have become in the world today:
Disconnected: They are unaware of themselves; internally and externally. You’ll only be able to attach to others in the way that you are connected with yourself.
Detached: When people come together, they are not truly with each other. You will only be able to relate to others based on your master of the 3 elements. It’s an ART.
A.R.T.
Appreciation:
What value do you place on people, in general?
Do you understand behavior—in the context of personality?
Are you willing to get personal, about them? About yourself?
Respect:
What is respect to you, personally?
The actual definition, rarely agreed upon:
Is it something inherent that comes with the territory?
Or demanded from a person?
Trust:
The challenge of surrender, giving people power over you.
Knowledge is power.
Vulnerability is scary because you can truly be hurt.
It’s absolutely vital for a relationship to be good. It’s intimacy.
Technology undermines relationships:
The communication is very handicapped compared to personal:
The amount expressed is significantly less than thought/felt
The “human” factor is gone compared to direct contact
Quality over quantity = success:
People don’t need as much when it’s the “good stuff”.
And they’re willing to invest and sacrifice if they know it’s going to be “worth it” in the end.
*Quality defined: Being in a good mood and spreading the good mood. Effort is sincere. Sacrifice is genuine and voluntary.
Conclusion:
*There is no neutral energy.
*What do you bring to the relationship?
