Sara O’Meara, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, is the co-founder, Chairman & CEO of Childhelp, one of the nation’s leading nonprofits serving abused and at-risk children. Educated in the U.S. and abroad, Sara’s life took a dramatic turn when she was miraculously healed from terminal cancer at a Kathryn Kuhlman service in Los Angeles. That moment not only restored her health but also ignited a lifelong ministry of healing, with thousands of documented miracles over more than five decades.
Alongside her healing ministry, Sara has dedicated her life to serving children. For over 64 years, Childhelp has rescued and uplifted more than 12 million children worldwide, meeting their physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs.
