As Roqué's career flourished, she caught the attention of several major label executives and eventually signed her first record deal with Irving Azoff of Giant Records/Warner Bros. Roqué later moved on to A&M Records, and then signed to Jimmy Iovine’s, Interscope Records/Universal. After years of record label dissolutions and mergers, Roqué asked for a release and decided to take a hiatus from the industry as an artist. In addition to her work in music, television, and film, the multi-talented performer established a successful talent management and artist development company, managing actors, singers, writers and producers.

Although very successful behind the scenes, Roqué constantly heard the call to sing and she recently returned to music, although this time in the Christian music genre. This turn of events was as surprising to Roqué as it was to her many fans. As she explains it, “It wasn’t my intentions to be involved in music at all, specifically as an artist. Therefore it didn’t cross my mind that I would be singing Christian music, Loud for Christ derived from an act of submission. I kept running until I couldn’t run anymore. I knew what God had been saying to me all along; I just didn’t want anything to do with music nor the industry ever as an artist. Until one day, I answered His call. As a result I immediately wrote my first song, ‘Thank You.’ Now I am in ministry and this has been the best experience I have had in music.”

Roqué’s return to music with LOUD FOR CHRIST is filled with songs focused on God’s unconditional unfailing love for humanity reflecting the reality that out of nothing God makes a masterpiece upon your surrender to let God be God in your life and show his love in mighty ways. LOUD FOR CHRIST is not about reminding the listener of the trials and tribulations one will experience in their Christian walk but a testimony of God’s love to pull you from the wreckage. Through the powerful message of God’s Word, LOUD FOR CHRIST takes you into the atmosphere of worship and fervent praise as a vehicle through which listeners can seek a closer relationship with Christ.

Roqué’s LOUD FOR CHRIST is available now on iTunes.
