Occupation:
Music Promotions, Talk Show Host
Biography:
I have been in the music industry for 20 yrs, 5 as a touring artist and sound engineer, and 15 as a music consultant working with unsigned bands and artists by acting as their manager, gaining them exposure on radio, press, TV, and live shows/ festivals.

I am the founder of Caravan Music Promotions which I sadly had to close due to a mixture of chronic illness fatigue, pain the loss of both knee caps, and co-morbid depression last year.

I knew the day would come where I could no longer work within the industry on behalf of the unsigned bands and artists to the level I had been used to which was 110%, everything I do I give my all.

I started making my own radio show called THE JJ KANE ALL NEW MUSIC SHOW and just put it on Mixcloud, I certainly wasn’t expecting the response or results in the number of stations asking for the show, I was humbled and delighted as it means to me that I can still follow my vocation in ethical exposure for emerging music and here I am 3 years on delighted to share my show with you.

I am bedridden/housebound 99% of the time, and without my Radio Years as I now call them, I really don’t know how I would have mentally coped with such a change in my life, and for it to happen so suddenly.

I hope you enjoy the shows as much as I love making them. It’s all about the music and presenting it to you in a very intimate, passionate way, always with humor, compassion, and respect.
