Honoring Our Veterans - Veterans Day is this Wednesday, November 11, 2015 and we have three veterans on the show today talking about what it means to have served our country. In honor of our vets, may we reflect and say thank you to all the men and women veterans, whether they served in peacetime or in conflicts of war. Donaldo Macedo is a professor of English and a Distinguished Professor of Liberal Arts and Education at the University of Massachusetts Boston. A critical theorist, linguist, and expert on literacy and education studies, Macedo is the founder and former chair of the Applied Linguistics Master of Arts Program at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
