The Seven Commandments for Happiness and Prosperity
by Shari Sharifi Brown
This book will take the reader on an enchanting journey through the history of religion to discover the seven key principles that can bring you happiness and riches.
My guest this week is author Shari Sharifi Brown and she has done her research. Concerned with truth as a Moslem, with a Christian Education and married to a Jewish man, she earnestly began her search through the great books of religions. How is ‘God’ taught through Mohammed, Moses and Jesus? She distilled this into her book ‘The Seven Commandments for Happiness and Prosperity’, seeking the uniting forces of these major influences. We will talk to Shari about Isis and Al Quida, the Christian extremism, and other divisive powers in the name of religion.

What better way to carry on the tradition of Laila and Sheryl's shared service to the world than by creating an award for others who demonstrate excellence in partnership? On 3 June 2016, a year and a day after Laila passed away, Sheryl will present the first annual Laila Award to Amy Novak and her Layla, an Alaskan Malamute. Layla has been certified by The Therapy Dog Organization. Amy and Layla's service includes visiting schools to teach children how to approach dogs they don't know, volunteering each month as a listener at a local library for anyone who wa
Amy Novak is a college student living on the Jersey Shore with plans to transfer to pharmacy school. When she's not training or playing with her two Alaskan Malamutes, Layla and Enda, she loves hiking, camping, fishing, reading and traveling. Amy works full time in a pharmacy as a senior pharmacy technician and billing specialist. She loves finding funding for specialty drugs with high co-pays; in April of 2016, she saved one single patient $12,000 on one medication.
Catalytic Radio host Sheryl Hirsch-Kramer and her dog Laila spent the final two years of Laila's life in service to the world. Laila's job was to keep living for as long as that worked for her, and Sheryl's job was to tell the story of her miraculous recovery from terminal cancer to anyone who would listen. Along with holistic treatment prescribed by their vet, Sheryl devised a support protocol consisting of daily doses of love, fun, prayer and blessings, and service to others to give Laila the best possible quality of life.
