Good Morning Bedlam has become an innovative force in the Midwest folk scene and beyond, with shows in forty-four states. Their performances display contagious energy as members careen about the stage, jumping and dancing with a wild playfulness. They captivate their audiences night after night with tight, soaring three part harmonies, thumping kick drum, catchy violin melodies, and intricate banjo. Good Morning Bedlam released their sophomore album, Like Kings, in July of 2018.

I was one of the founding members of the Pittsburgh-based band Sandoz which was signed to the New York label Relix Records and produced three albums. I have just released an unsigned solo album, Out from Nowhere. The ten original songs run the gamut from folk rock to country swing and spoken word jazz and feature some of the city’s finest musicians on sax, flute, violin, pedal steel, piano, and guitar.

At an early age Darrel Walton new music would have a major impact on his life. Growing up in Southern California with parents having backgrounds in singing and theater, he was attracted to performing and singing. At age 3, he was involved in plays and musicals. At the age of 12, he was introduced to a Casio keyboard. This became his passion. He began making beats, recording from tape to tape. Playing each phrase over and over, and then switching decks and dubbing the new sound. Neighborhood teens would come to his house and purchase beats to rap over. He was given the name Te on Vest.
