Attached is a wav file of my new single called Bending the Strings written by myself and Lucy LeBlanc, both of Vancouver, BC from my upcoming album, "The Wild and Beautiful. The song is about a musician’s guitar doubling as a therapist. The album, “The Wild and Beautiful" was recorded in Nashville over the past six months at the 522 produced by myself and Chip Hardy and was mastered in analog at Little Red Book Mastering in LA by Mark Chalecki. The release date is February 22, 2020. Bending the Strings is registered with SOCAN and meets the Canadian Content guidelines.

Singer/songwriter August Knight acquired his first guitar at the age of 10 and by 15 began writing songs influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, John Prine, Kris Kristofferson and Neil Young… all of which continue to influence his songwriting style to this day.
Knight is currently writing and recording new material for his soon to be released CD.

The Upstart Crows is an alternative rock act from Brooklyn that plays in and around NYC as both a haunting solo acoustic act or a loud bombastic rock band. With their combination of folk, punk and Americana style; It promises that whatever crow show you go to you are gonna have a good time.
