Mark Jacobs
After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Finance in 1985, Mark Jacobs moved to Los Angeles to begin his career with Lowe Development Corporation, a commercial real estate development company. From there, he managed the finances as well as the personnel for two furniture showrooms in the Pacific Design Center. After obtaining a second degree in music performance in 1994 from California State University Northridge, he accepted the position of Director of Finance for Longy School of Music, a prestigious music conservatory located in Boston. In 2000, Mark was also a financial consultant for a 3-star restaurant in the citys popular symphony hall district.
Upon his return to Los Angeles in 2002, Mark served as the Controller for Edge FX, Inc., a highly successful make-up effects studio. In July of 2004, he established Business Management Resources as a personalized, full-service business management company, one where he could provide clients with the full spectrum of his 20 years of skillful experience.
During the course of his career, however, Mark realized that there was more to his life than managing the financial lives of businesses. For 2 years, he was a co-facilitator for a support group for gay men through Positive Directions. He is currently of service delivering meals to chronically ill clients through Project Angelfood and is a regular volunteer at the North Hollywood Church of Religious Science. For many years, Mark has passionately studied the Science of Mind teachings and is actively working toward his license as a Spiritual Practitioner. From there, he plans to begin ministerial studies at Holmes Institute.
Launching his ministry was a natural progression for Mark as hes distinctly guided to work with people who share common spiritual goals. Service is a key aspect of his ministry along with writing and speaking, which provides spiritual education and recovery to many. Mark is committed to sharing his expertise and knowledge so that all may awaken to their utmost potential.
Spiritual Hollywood
The purpose of "Spiritual Hollywood" as well as the book are geared toward bringing consciousness to Hollywood and thereby bringing it to the world. Quality of Life and coming from our highest, best wisdom is Key in everything we do.
BRIEF PERSONAL HISTORY: Kate is a former Actress of 15 years, Talent Agent, and Music Manager (represented Pete Bardens of Camel), Co-Produced a very successful “Music Cares” Fund Raiser for Pete Bardens with Mick Fleetwood, and is a Proud Mom of former child Star Kaylan Romero.
Kate was born on APRIL 27th in Detroit Michigan. With her parents and siblings, Kate lived on an 80-acre farm in Moorhead, Kentucky. After becoming very physically fit from farm life, she applied her strength and unique abilities to things that seemed to come naturally. Kate later achieved awards in Track and Field, Skeet shooting, and presently holds a World title in Arm Wrestling.
Today, Kate enjoys staying fit by way of Pilates and her self created seven minute workout, is an avid hiker, player of Ping Pong, Guitar, Chess, and Billiards in her free time.
