Whether you love or hate mumble rap, there’s no denying that P3G Trap’s latest drop No You Didn’t featuring Rich Homie Quan is as fresh as it gets in the Hip Hop arena. Whilst in points it felt that there was a little too much going on in the mix to keep up with the lyrical flow (or the beat for that matter), you were still sucked into the chaos of the mix and the admiration of P3G Trap’s relentless rap flow. The momentum that the track carries is almost dizzying, and the South Carolina based indie artist’s ability to create so much hype stands as testament to the artist stylishly resounding talent when it comes to Hip Hop. How they managed to pull the multi-layered beats together is almost beyond comprehension, yet, I’m assuming it had a lot to do with producer D. Collins deft touch, every pitch sat at the perfect level to allow each impounding beat to almost leave you feeling bruised.
